If I hate something is that someone doesn't respect your time and makes you wait too much for an appt. I know that they could be better but you cannot start a process with that bad impression!

Treatment
Alcoholism
Treatment for alcohol use disorder (AUD) is available in several formats and levels of care. The treatment process address various issues that contribute to a dependence on alcohol (often referred to as alcoholism). Alcohol rehab in Wisconsin provides the tools and supports you'll need to overcome AUD and maintain long-term sobriety.
Drug Addiction
The goal of drug rehab in Wisconsin is to address drug addiction as a complex issue that involves physical, mental, and relational aspects. During rehab, treatment focuses on each of these areas and gives you the tools you need to achieve and maintain sobriety.
Mental Health and Substance Abuse
In Wisconsin, dual-diagnosis rehabs offer comprehensive care for individuals facing both mental health and substance abuse challenges. Typically, dual-diagnosis is offered on an inpatient or outpatient basis, depending on your needs. You can usually expect treatment to include evidence-based therapies such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), and experiential therapy to address both aspects of your well-being. You’ll also learn vital skills to overcome challenges and maintain your sobriety.
Opioid Addiction
Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

Levels of Care
Intensive Outpatient
Intensive outpatient programs (IOP) support clients’ return to their community following inpatient treatment and may also offer an alternative to hospitalization for clients who are relatively stable following detox. Many intensive outpatient rehabs require clients to participate in a minimum of nine and a maximum of 20 treatment hours weekly. IOP services are also highly customizable and typically include a combination of addiction counseling, recovery-focused life skills training, medication assisted treatment (MAT), and holistic therapies such as meditation.
Outpatient
Clients who are admitted to an outpatient rehab may be stepping down from intensive inpatient care or may be transitioning directly from a detox facility. Outpatient treatment enables clients to remain in or return to their home, workplace, and community without compromising access to care. Clients engage in addiction counseling and recovery education and may also receive evidence-based complementary therapies, such as yoga, acupuncture, and massage. Medication assisted treatment (MAT) is commonly available for clients in alcohol and/or opioid recovery.
12-Step
12 step programs take a holistic approach to addiction recovery, combining peer support with personal spiritual growth. These programs prioritize regular attendance at 12 step meetings, which are free, anonymous, peer-led, and available day and night in most communities. Spiritual principles are invoked to help participants address the root causes of addiction, accept responsibility, and relinquish control over that which cannot be changed. Dedicated programs for specialized groups, such as youth and seniors, are common.
Aftercare Support
Completing a drug or alcohol rehab program shouldn't spell the end of substance abuse treatment. Aftercare involves making a sustainable plan for recovery, including ongoing support. This can include sober living arrangements like halfway houses, career counseling, and setting a patient up with community programs like Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) or Narcotics Anonymous (NA).
Clinical Services
Couples Therapy
Whether a marriage or other committed relationship, an intimate partnership is one of the most important aspects of a person’s life. Drug and alcohol addiction affects both members of a couple in deep and meaningful ways, as does rehab and recovery. Whether the patient is in a relationship, married or going through a divorce, their compassionate therapists will help her/him address problems and restore and heal his/her relationship.
Family Therapy
Research clearly demonstrates that recovery is far more successful and sustainable when loved ones like family members participate in rehab and substance abuse treatment. Genetic factors may be at play when it comes to drug and alcohol addiction, as well as mental health issues. Family dynamics often play a critical role in addiction triggers, and if properly educated, family members can be a strong source of support when it comes to rehabilitation. At Wheaton, they offer two family therapy programs specifically designed to address the unique recovery needs of family members, mental health issues and alcohol and drug abuse.
Group Therapy
Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members. Their peer groups provide a supportive, educational and therapeutic environment for those with mental health conditions and addiction issues. Supportive and theme-specific groups are available including stress management, coping skills, grief and loss, and Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP) group.
Individual Therapy
In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life. Provided by advanced-level, knowledgeable and experienced therapists, individual therapy focuses on stress, anger management, depression, anxiety and panic disorders, childhood issues and attention deficit disorder.
