This was my second time receiving treatment at Hazelden, and I truly felt a deeper sense of connection and growth this time (quality of service improved since last time ) This time, working with my counselor “nas” made a big difference in my experience. He showed great understanding, professionalism, and sensitivity while addressing my addiction challenges. His approach was thoughtful and respectful, and I always felt safe and heard during our sessions. Really loved the mental health part and mental health professionals!! I’ve learned so much about myself, and I’m proud to say I’m now two months sober. Thank you to everyone at Hazelden for the support and care!!! This experience has meant a lot to me!!

I’ve just started working with Jennifer as my treatment counselor, and I can already tell she’s going to make a real difference in my recovery. She’s extremely kind and welcoming, which makes it easy to open up and feel comfortable in group sessions. She listens with genuine care and offers guidance that feels both supportive and practical. What stands out the most is how she contributes to the group. She’s encouraging, fair, and always keeps us focused on moving forward. I feel like she truly wants to see each of us succeed in our recovery journeys. I’m grateful to have her as part of mine, and I would recommend her to anyone who is serious about getting the right support.

Gwen and Scott are the best. I tried other treatments, but this one is definitely the best. All the other ones I tried, were for profit, and it truly showed, they were more interested in moving you to a higher level of care than actually helping you. My advice, always choose a non profit treatment facility, and Canvas is the one I chose and I highly recommend it.

Been to 7 inpatients and countless outpatient treatments. And metro hope has worked for me. Faith based Christ centered. Just graduated 4 days ago. Now I'm currently a house manager and driver here. Would totally recommend this place to anyone that is willing to take the next step forward. Being obedient to Christ and last but not least listen to staff. God created authority. All authority comes from God anyone that rebels/disobeys authority is disobeying God. It's not the program that will change you it's you allowing God to transform you while you're in the program. If you're not ready to stop doing what isn't working you won't be ready to start doing what is working. Be blessed

I moved from Florida to have a surgery done at Gillette for my daughter with CP. She had a surgery about five years ago and the aftercare has been wonderful! Her surgeon Dr. Georgiotis did a beautiful job. He explained everything in detail. He has great bedside manner, and has treated us very well over the years. We also enjoyed our stay there which included a one week stay after the surgery, and another 4 to 5 weeks stay for her inpatient.

If I could remember everyone’s names from start to finish of our 24 hour stay I would certainly give thanks to them all. Every single staff member we came across was beyond kind and helpful. My daughter and son had amazing experiences and they actually have BRAGGED about surgery to their little 4 and 2 year old friends. You guys made everything so easy. I was beyond impressed with everyone however I’d like to give one specific shout out to Megan a PICU RN that was spending her time in the Rehab unit. She was our first nurse to attend to our recovery room with my son for his 24 hour stay. My son loved her and she was GREAT with him. Made sure she got to know him, showered him with love, and constantly was his cheerleader. Hoping she receives some sort of recognition or more for her excellent patient care.

Shout out to Fairview Fridley! From the moment I walked in, the front desk staff were calm, patient, and kind, even when my insurance wasn’t showing correctly. They gave me clear options, helped me quickly sort things out, and I was seen within minutes. My nurse was friendly and efficient, and my bloodwork was done so gently I didn’t even feel it. Most importantly, Dr. Green is amazing! Smart, relatable, and genuinely caring. She listened, offered thoughtful advice and some great recommendations and made me feel completely heard and supported. This experience was such a contrast from a different Fairview location I used to visit, where I often felt judged, overlooked, and like the staff were either overworked or disconnected. At Fridley, everything feels different in great way. I have had a handful of web calls with my Doctor now and I’ve been at the clinic 3 times now for annual check ups & I truly say feel cared for and confident in my healthcare team. Huge shoutout to Dr. Green and the entire staff! 🖤

Willow Haven didn’t just give me a place to stay, it gave me space to heal. From the moment I walked through the doors, I felt like more than just another name on a check-in sheet. The atmosphere is peaceful and comfortable, a true home setting that immediately puts your heart at ease. The meals? Five-star dinners every night. You can taste the love in every bite. What makes Willow Haven stand apart, though, is the balance. The schedule is the perfect blend of structure and free time, just enough programming to challenge and grow, and just enough space to breathe, reflect, and rediscover who you are. The staff? They are the heartbeat of this place. A rare blend of inspiration, guidance, and love — the kind that speaks into your life without judgment and walks beside you until you can walk on your own. They don’t just teach recovery. They live it. And they pour themselves into every person who walks through the doors. You just have to be willing to receive it. Willow Haven is more than a facility. It’s a turning point. A sacred pause. A reset you didn’t know your soul needed. Forever a blessing in my life. I walked in broken, I’m leaving restored.

I stayed for 5 months starting in 2021. I feel that the program it's self works. The strict routine was good for us even though it was a nightmare residential suck but this one was effective. The staff are all there because they need clinical experience for thier social work degree so they don't stay long, not experienced and don't really like it. The management Stephenie is honestly the worst person there! The place is dirty but the food is so good!! Most of the staff want to help people and are nice. I would give it a chance I think your kid will know when they are finished with the program I left a month early and I feel that if I was there for a extra month I would have gotten worse. In my case though I wasn't the problem I just needed to build confidence and surround myself with people that were nice to me. I am happy now and have enough skills to cope with stressful situations. I still see my therapist that I met in treatment.

a lot of terrible reviews, but thats just cause residential in general sucks, the one i went to before was worse. i mostly liked this place because there was good food and there were some really great staff there, and i really enjoyed my therapist for IT. of course theres a lot of downsides, whether it be lots of understaffing, not always the best approach towards handling situations, and a lot of covert racism and ableism, but the place is a constant changing facility, with new rules being implemented, others being discarded, and staff coming and going. the entire mental health situation in america just sucks in general, so you definitely cannot (yet) expect this place to be great. but ive seen a lot to be done resident wise to make change happen and to call out things that need to be called out, so we at least have that. but yeah, definitely better than my first two residential stays, but would not make a very good bed and breakfast. i hope everyone i knew there is doing well though, shout out to my pals there who were extra cool B) also i think this place should get an extra star cause boss man is from alaska, so four star for yall B) -AK 9/6/22-5/5/23
