I'm originally from the Dunkin county Campbell area and was surrounded by so much darkness I was scared of the light and the Lord brought me to Freedom House. Here I learned how to have a relationship with Jesus and because of the Love of Jesus and my Freedom House Family I have stayed on as staff to give back to those who come in just like me! Thank you Jesus for all you Are to us!

I went through the fold and it’s done me so much good with more than just my mental health and structure in life it’s let me build a relationship with god and a passion to help others. I didn’t have the worst upbringing or face some of the challenges most people in addiction have suffered but I’m thankful for shepherd’s fold it’s a great program if your ready to truly submit your life to god and want to change. The place is great, but a few if the check in clerks could use a different position that doesn't deal directly with the patients. Rudeness and a cold attitude is not warranted towards any veteran. On the old hand, 95% of the staff are amazing human beings and value their patients. They are kind, respectful, cordial and patient towards their patients.

This VA is one of the best in the US. They treat veteran care with compassion, dignity, respect and efficiency.
I am sure that every day brings challenges, but I have enjoyed my care experience.

I love the Doctor who runs it and talks with you. He really does care. But they have a very high turnover rate. They always have new counselors and dosing nurses. From what I understand, they offer no insurance for their employees and the pay isn’t very good.

I did treatment twice at semo. Once to get clean and once to prevent a relapse. My cooccuring councilor mr virgil and my facilitator saved my life. When leaving treatment my facilitator asked me to check out a specific type of meeting when leaving and the truly taught me how to fight within for my sobriety. Today i am 5 yrs 2 months and 19 days sober 🥰🥰 and i never went to another facility and no relapses! Hadnt they taken me serious during my cry before relapse and let me back in i wouldnt be here today! Semo saved my life!
They are strict in a silly way but there is only one nurse here & she is doing a great job. The day shift seems to be scared for their jobs. The staff at night are
seem to be mostly concerned for the clients

This place saved my life they genuinely care for the people its about helping you become a better you I owe them my life I was as addict who was drowning in addiction and they pulled me up and showed a new life thank you to the entire staff

These ppl here, made it a great experience! Professional, friendly really felt like they care!. Oh and efficient!!
I see a lot of low scores and I been to several locations for help. Arisa not only did they help me with a lot of things that I needed but they followed up on me by phone. I still go for my occasional visits with my person and have yet to see anything negative about this place. Keep up the good work y'all.

I was scheduled for a procedure, went in through the ER, the desk clerk was very nice, she had nearly all my paperwork ready. All I had to do was give a copy of my meds and insurance cards for her to copy. I was called back within minutes
the nurse was extremely nice. Was put in a room where they took my vitals and explained everything, everyone was knowledgeable and explained every detail of what would take place . I could not have been more pleased with my experience and want to say that everything was very clean, very impressive, I hope if I ever have to go there in the future that I will be as pleased as I was with this visit.

The doctors were very efficient most of the staff was very helpful. The front desk staff in the ER however was very rude and made fun of my inquiries.... I was without a ride and a very nice staff member helped cover a taxi ride back home for me.
I have nothing but kind things to say about my doctor, Juella Sadicon. She has been an incredible help to me throughout my mental health journey, and even went above and beyond helping me figure out prenatal vitamins when my OB was backed up for a month. Couldn’t recommend her more!!

My PCP referred me to the Counseling Center and I was quickly contacted and was sent all my intake paperwork to fill out ahead of time. I was then scheduled with a Therapist within 2 days and met with my new Psychiatrist also. I have Recurrent Major Depressive Disorder with Anxiety along side a history of AUD. The staff is always extremely kind and helpful. They work with your schedule and are available for quick response if needed. I feel the decision to come here has given me real hope in managing my mental state and ultimately my life going forward. I'm very grateful to have the support provided here.

My psychiatrist Dr. Cannon is amazing. She is very detail oriented and my therapist Jennifer came with strong recommendations. I was apprehensive at first because of our ages. By far the most comfortable I have ever been with a therapist. The office staff is a mess since Ms. Ragina went to NEA.
I had to be complaint because I was diagnosed with breadt cancer at 31.

I was dealing with severe PTSD with night terrors on top of my anxiety and fear of my then husband and this place saved me. Mrs. Emily is who I see and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HER! When my dad passed away I didn’t want to do anything especially go to the doctor but she was so concerned about my health that she FaceTimed me for my appointment because it was very important I was seen by her after just losing my dad from suicide. I love this place and can not thank them enough!
What I loved the most about Gison Recovery Center was that instead of only treating my addiction, they treated my whole body and how the addiction had affected it. That is something they don't do somewhere else.

Always a smiling face (usually a pretty one i might add), and you can tell they truly care about helping people at a very low time in their lives. No words can express my gratitude. While waiting on my husband, the clinic had an influx of people coming in with various needs. The staff at the window were so patient, understanding and kind to each and every person. They understood the urgency of each person’s need. I am so impressed by the level of professionalism shown by these people. Amazing job!!!
