I was re evaluated and got to go back but I showed up one day thinking I had a appointment at one and it was at noon.. One other time I got the dates mixed up.. I have had a lot on my plate health wise we are all human we make mistakes.. Needless to say I was discharged again.. I guess it’s a two strike and your out rule.. The staff where cursing me out and I had lost my grandpa in the facility and I continued asking to talk to some one no one would come they would yell at me and talk shit about me and slam the door in my face one girl snuck me and the staff didn’t do anything but watch the stafff where messy and they would sneak behind the kids back and team up with the other kids and let let them jump kids and fight and bully they would let kids go into the room together and have sex they let the kids put their hands in the water jug and never clean it there was always black stuff in it when I was going though losing my grandpa I was so stressed that I kept on throwing up and falling because I was getting dissy they said I was just faking I told my foster parents and they tried every thing to get me out but it didn’t work they would lie to them about things so where they couldn’t come to make staff grabbed me and left bruises on me idk it was really bad

I highly recommend HEC. I see Jaimie for EMDR and CBT therapy biweekly. She is among the best therapists I have ever had. She is great at putting things into a new perspective and giving me extremely useful tools and coping strategies. I trust her completely and cannot sing her praises enough. I have had 3 healthcare experiences at St. Francis in 2 different outpatient surgical settings, and ER to inpatient. I took my sobriety serious and the tools chestnut provided . I appreciate them I am now 5years going on 6 sober. I am also going to college for substance abuse counseling. They are good at what they do. You must be ready to change for them to be able to help you! Nothing but love for this facility!!!

Life changing. If a person is willing to give themselves a chance at recovery, they'll get it here. Myself I have gotten saved, and transformed my thinking. I have picked up several job skills, and opportunities to display them working through the ministry. Ive been here a week shy of a year and looking forward to a life of sobriety and steadfast solid relationship with Christ. I am so thankful that I can even think of a life outside of homelessness, drugs, charges , and self pity. Now this ain't easy and nothing worth having is easy. Nonetheless, you will obtain the structure we need, and relationship with God.
