I love the Doctor who runs it and talks with you. He really does care. But they have a very high turnover rate. They always have new counselors and dosing nurses. From what I understand, they offer no insurance for their employees and the pay isn’t very good.

My PCP referred me to the Counseling Center and I was quickly contacted and was sent all my intake paperwork to fill out ahead of time. I was then scheduled with a Therapist within 2 days and met with my new Psychiatrist also. I have Recurrent Major Depressive Disorder with Anxiety along side a history of AUD. The staff is always extremely kind and helpful. They work with your schedule and are available for quick response if needed. I feel the decision to come here has given me real hope in managing my mental state and ultimately my life going forward. I'm very grateful to have the support provided here.

My psychiatrist Dr. Cannon is amazing. She is very detail oriented and my therapist Jennifer came with strong recommendations. I was apprehensive at first because of our ages. By far the most comfortable I have ever been with a therapist. The office staff is a mess since Ms. Ragina went to NEA.

I want to point out Shayna care coordinator, she goes above and beyond to help someone ! My son was a patient here for a month and a half. I think treatment team did a lot to help him ! Unfortunately he made some choices good and bad really ! He did try but probably needed more attention with his medications for his mental health issues. They all did a lot to help him. Very kind and understanding staff, wish they had better doctors who had more experience and not just from books, and truly MO needs to up their Recovery Laws and policies, coming from WA state things here are much more rigorous and chronic pain is treated more seriously for addicts in WA, but all my care there was through the VA. This would probably be my go to place any time I'm suicidal again. Its amazing. You see a doctor daily and the environment is amazing. You can watch tv,or play board games or cards all day. You can literally sit on a phone call with someone all day,as long as you want. You can be in your room too all you want and relax,sleep more of you want. Food is amazing,and they make sure you're full. I went when there wasn't alot of people so they were constantly giving us seconds. Staff is sweet and chill. You can color or draw all day if you want. Sadly the showers were like luke warm or cold. But you can shower any time and as many times as you like. It felt like home. You can even wear your own clothes there and make sure to bring an abundance of clothing to wear and be washed daily. You can see a psychiatrist and doctor and all daily and i felt like they really listened and cared how i felt and helped me pave a way to success. And if i needed a med to try out it was easy to get approved for,such as an inhaler for my asthma or something to help me sleep better. Just tell them and they will try it out for you that night or the next. They also have coffee,which may appeal to others but not me,i dislike coffee. You do have to be in your rooms by ten pm i believe,but you don't have to be asleep,just in your room.

The environment and the staff were great during my stay. I will say that the communication could be a bit better because I didn’t know I was discharging until the last minute but other than that I have no complaints.

I have been attending here since 2019 when I tell you that they are wonderful trustworthy people and I have been seeing Mrs. Christy Goforth She is the Best Counselor I have ever had in my life she is a true blessing and she is God she she is someone whom you can be 100 percent honest with about anything and she will have your back and she tries her best to point you in the right direction I have been doing a whole lot better since I have been seeing her I love her

I have had nothing but great experiences at the millington office. The only complaint I have is when I call to reschedule my appointment, I can never get anyone on the phone, and can never get a call back. So I have to make a personal trip to the office to handle it. Other than that, the staff is friendly, and professional. Thanks

The therapist whom I saw was very nice and allowed me to have free will with how I speak, which is a good thing but also can be a bad thing too! Because I do have a potty mouth and it's something I can't help. Sorry but it is not that I don't like it there I'm really not sure it's what I'm looking for at the moment, but you have given me a little bit of hope that is going to help me out in the long run. We'll just have to wait and see.
