About Arundel Lodge

Arundel Lodge, located in Annapolis, Maryland, offers a plethora of alcohol and drug rehab services as well as co-occurring mental health services to children, adolescents and adults. Their levels of care include outpatient care and a day program that is a bit more in-depth.

Their children’s services are for children aged newborn through 17 years old. These services include psychiatric screening and assessments, medication evaluation, management, and monitoring. They provide a very tailored, personal treatment plan to help you on your recovery journey. They have individual therapy, group therapy and family therapy. But they also have play therapy to make things more fun and interactive. They have Spanish-speaking therapists available and fluent ASL therapists for deaf and hard of hearing persons.

Their adult outpatient services include both in-person and telehealth sessions. These include services similar to their children’s program but with an added peer support program and more intensive treatment. If needed, they can connect you to outside services for more intensive care.

Their day program seems really interesting with life skills classes, support groups and other activities that take place four days a week all year long. Classes include a computer lab, art groups, yoga, journaling, gardening, budgeting, nutrition, stress management, medication management, and an entire fitness center. They also do activities like bowling, sight-seeing excursions, working as an artist in the Open Eye Art Gallery, and an annual talent show.

I Finally Found The Right Place!I spent 2 years going from one Prosthetics and Orthotics center to another trying to find a prosthesis that I could actually walk with without having to endure so much pain. The two places I tried before, (I won t mention their names) used a system that wasn t right for my needs, but was perfect for theirs! I came across this place after doing some research, and decided to give them a try. It was the best decision I made in the last two years! Brittany Mott CPO,MSPO, came up with the best solutions for my unique situation. She really took the time to explain why the previous prosthesis was not the right fit for me. She fit me with a new, awesome system and now I m walking for the first time, pain free! From the very first time that I walked in and met Olga at the front desk who is so welcoming and courteous, and Brittany who is so knowledgeable and professional, I knew that I was in the right place! They really do care about the patients here and It feels so good to finally be able to walk again! I highly recommend this prosthetist.

Accepted Insurance

Arundel Lodge works with several private insurance providers and also accepts private payments when possible, please contact to verify your specific insurance provider.

Other Forms of Payment

Medicare is a federal program that provides health insurance for those 65 and older. It also serves people under 65 with chronic and disabling health challenges. To use Medicare for addiction treatment you need to find a program that accepts Medicare and is in network with your plan. Out of pocket costs and preauthorization requirements vary, so always check with your provider.

Military members, veterans, and eligible dependents have access to specific insurance programs that help them get the care they need. TRICARE and VA insurance can help you access low cost or no cost addiction and mental health treatment. Programs that accept military insurance often have targeted treatment focused on the unique challenges military members, veterans, and their families face.

Addiction Treatments

Treatments

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

Once a person has become addicted to a substance, drug rehab in Maryland is often necessary to overcome that addiction. These programs provide the tools individuals need to manage the physical, mental, and emotional issues involved and begin a successful recovery journey.

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

Substance rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from substance abuse, including alcohol and drug addiction (both illegal and prescription drugs). They often include the opportunity to engage in both individual as well as group therapy.

Programs

Adult Program
Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.
young-adult-program thumbnail image
Young Adult Program
Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.

Clinical Services

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

I highly recommend this practice. Mr. Kelly, CPO and his assistant were so helpful and accommodating to the needs of my elderly Aunt. It was obvious to me that they care about their patients and took the time to make sure her custom shoes fit her and were comfortable. I am so glad we came to their office.

Overpriced equipment. My son had surgery and received an orthopedic boot from them. They charged us double as to what it would of been for us to have independently went out and purchased the boot.
