My son has been here before. He is no longer a younger man, n has been to many rehabs. He states this is the best in state of Md. The staff is respectful of the patients needs. Although I can't contact him for encouragement, his counselor makes sure he gets a chance to call home.

I’ve had nothing but a great experience they actually care. Tiffany and Megan the receptionists are the sweetest and have even offered for me to call and just talk, after hours. I love them. Dr. Seamen is a saint and deserves more than she’s recognized for. I’ve been treated with nothing but love and care and it’s super refreshing, Dr. S even referred me to a psychiatrist, Dr. Mary Beth and I’m sure it’ll be as good treatment as ever. It feels amazing longingly be heard/treated and not just pushed medicine.

I just went in for my first appointment here and the whole experience just blew me away. So far beyond my expectations. Super knowledgeable people and the whole time they were focused on the long term recovery and development and not just a quick fix. I highly recommend them and if you're getting a prescription for an orthotic or prosthesis, I'd recommend getting it filled here.

I had a very scary and unexpected trip by ambulance to Harbor last week. I was very impressed with the ER nurse who took care of me. Lovely blonde lady from New Mexico, it was around midnight. She had me in a room quickly and kept me calm throughout the experience. Unbelievably nice. Explained everything. Showed me a lot of dignity as a patient. I was admitted and was equally impressed with my nurse (from Howard County - Melissa or Nicole maybe?!) who cared for me as well as the CNA’s who were so sweet. I received great care. I requested a room change due to noise and was accommodated. Doctors didn’t engage with me very much but that’s ok, the nursing staff had it! The sonographer and her student were very kind and gentle as well. The Radiologist (John?) was so kind and reassuring and nice.

I was someone who stayed here for so time almost a year. I know you can't please everyone but they did try to. Most of the residential staff was wonderful very attentive to the clients needs. The two that I felt that went beyond their job was Simone and Melissa I felt very safe and comfortable w them and they are some of the most compassionate, caring staff I have come across I truly believe they are at their job not only for a paycheck but to help. MD Rehab Specialists got me right from the jump, no BS. They kept it real and didn’t sugarcoat the struggle but also showed mad respect for where I was at. Jeff, who no longer works there was my counselor, but he was just one of many counselors that really help get you through this difficult moment in your life. CAM has by far been the best program I’ve been on. I was at another program (Cherryhill) for years & that place Hod change your whole energy. I would go in happy, come out in a horrible mood! There were a few good people there like Mrs. Hope & Nurse Michelle & a few good counselors, but at CAM, everyone has been amazing! From the beautiful woman at the front to the nurses & counselors, I am grateful for each one of them. I’ve been clean for 14 years & continue to be clean because of CAM.

All of the staff is wonderful from the house monitors to the counselors to the managers and the owner I wanna point out Mrs Lopez and mr weaver they are wonderful and god sent for real everything that they do for us clients reflects upon our greatness I also wanna recognize Mrs Lakeya she is gods gift in conclusion this program is the best and I recommend anybody who is serious about their recovery and wanna get back on track look into it asap dr Campbell thanks for everything that u do and may god continue to bless u and bring u joy and happiness

The Hum absolutely changed my life!! I tell so many others some of my story and tell them that they don't have to live the way they are living anymore!!! The services for veterans are good for helping veterans get back their self worth back. They provide shelter and help with common needs for veterans. There are opportunities for veterans to get help for those dealing with addition. They also help veterans who are looking for shelter on a temporary basis. I would recommend veterans who are facing a difficult time to give the Helping Up Mission a chance to help them reclaim their lives with dignity and respect. Mr. Rasheed Savage will get you the help that you need and he is very professional in his approach to helping people, especially veterans.

This place is helping my children’s father in a miraculous way. My adult children are now proud of their father. He stayed in the Hum, it’s been about 6 months now and he has made a huge recovery. Thank you HUM and I’m forever grateful to God! Hallelujah 🙌🏽
