My son has been here before. He is no longer a younger man, n has been to many rehabs. He states this is the best in state of Md. The staff is respectful of the patients needs. Although I can't contact him for encouragement, his counselor makes sure he gets a chance to call home.

I visited Arundel Lodge’s mental health Urgent Care during a mental health/domestic violence crisis where I was unhoused and very unwell. I had been discharged prematurely and without proper treatment by the AAMC ED twice, BWMC ED twice, and Harbor Hospital ED once, even with a ongoing case file from police and Crisis Response, as well as a petition for treatment by an Officer. I was exhausted, sick, diagnosed with ketoacidosis from lack of nutrition and just wanted genuine clinical answers/help and not discrimination. The lovely receptionist immediately treated me with kindness and sympathy when I walked in with my bags, taking them and I back to a room immediately. Dr. Julie Seaman was able to evaluate and prescribe medication for my situation, and for the first time in years, I feel as though I have been prescribed the proper medication regimen for my Bipolar 1. With this care and reassurance, I was able to gather myself and regain control of the situation. Thank you for all you do here at Arundel Lodge. Kindness and compassion goes a long, long way!

I’ve had nothing but a great experience they actually care. Tiffany and Megan the receptionists are the sweetest and have even offered for me to call and just talk, after hours. I love them. Dr. Seamen is a saint and deserves more than she’s recognized for. I’ve been treated with nothing but love and care and it’s super refreshing, Dr. S even referred me to a psychiatrist, Dr. Mary Beth and I’m sure it’ll be as good treatment as ever. It feels amazing longingly be heard/treated and not just pushed medicine.

While my brother left the shelter (as we all know being unhoused is a very complicated issue), the people case managers etc. all followed through with every aspect of this program. If you look at the website and compare his experience; Light House Shelter delivered on every single goal they set to accomplish with him. He is doing very well and about to move into an apartment, and couldn't be more thankful. This is how you approach complicated societal issues. Also, volunteering here is made very accessible. The sign up genius makes it so easy. AND the restaurant is an amazing program with delicious food. Annapolis and the surrounding area is so very lucky to have Light House.

I love this location. The front desk staff (specifically the black woman with the short hair cut-didn’t get her name) who is always there, and Liz who works in the lab is phenomenal! Liz always goes above and beyond & gets my fussy toddlers blood work done successfully when other places have been a fail. Other places typically don’t have the patience, experience or knowledge for young children who hate getting blood work done, or can’t find veins but she makes the experience a bit less stressful for all of us! ❤️

Counselors are compassionate and really want you to succeed. If you don’t complete the program it is 100% your fault. Only program that has transportation and an open door group policy.

I just went in for my first appointment here and the whole experience just blew me away. So far beyond my expectations. Super knowledgeable people and the whole time they were focused on the long term recovery and development and not just a quick fix. I highly recommend them and if you're getting a prescription for an orthotic or prosthesis, I'd recommend getting it filled here.

I stayed here for a month and it was a great experience. the staff was extremely helpful and caring. I never felt more tended to. The food was ok it was more the environment that helped relax me. They had the whole place being cleaned and it made me feel comfortable. The therapists were very encouraging and I feel like I couldn't have gotten to this place in my life without them. I will rate Chrysalis House based on when I was there and when it was being ran by different staff and Mrs Carisaa was there. Other than that I can not speak for the program after Mrs. Carissa left. When I was there it was tough but it is what i needed. I have never been to a program that actually cared and literally internally got to me dug up some buried issues and I worked on them. Mrs. MELVINA was my counselor, she was amazing. Most of the staff had went through addiction. Mrs Denise was amazzziiinnggg i never felt uncomfortable, leaving my son with them during the day. The whole staff at that time was amazing. Yes, it was very strict, but they did it in a loving way because they did not want us to die. I know countless women
That graduated the Chrysalis House and are still clean. I have ten fifteen, close lifelong friends that I had met at Chrysalis and that are still clean to this day. I have never went to a treatment that had this much success. Like I said, I cannot speak for the new staff, but it sounds like it is still a great program.While I was there and before I left, they were building on the new addition which was beautiful.It was finished before I left but was not open yet. A woman and children's program is needed and I hope that this one is ran as good as it was when I was there.I'm sure it is. I felt so safe with my children. I'll forever be grateful for Mrs. Carissa and all the staff.

I was someone who stayed here for so time almost a year. I know you can't please everyone but they did try to. Most of the residential staff was wonderful very attentive to the clients needs. The two that I felt that went beyond their job was Simone and Melissa I felt very safe and comfortable w them and they are some of the most compassionate, caring staff I have come across I truly believe they are at their job not only for a paycheck but to help. Thank you to all the residential staff. The clinical team here is beyond amazing I am actually lost for words how much the team does. Have had the pleasure of getting to work closely with the team at Crownsville over the last few months. The enhancements the current leadership team - Quinn, Amber, Ashley - have made to programming, facilities, client services, and most importantly the parent support model have been first class. The work the team does is hard work; hard work is good work and I can attest they are truly the experts. The clinical and nursing leadership are the best in the business and I’ve worked with many. The Sandstone team has done some great work in developing brand new recreational spaces (the Kickback house) and experiential opportunities to supplement what has always been great clinical delivery. The full team - led by Dr Yolanda Rogers and inclusive of the chefs and facilities maintenance team - are an all star care team. out of all the rehabs i been to this the only one that worked. i’m cali sober, meaning i still smoke and drink, but i don’t do anything else anymore. the only “negative” is that the food sucked but even then we were able to have our parents bring us food. not to add i went in 2023 so i am more than positive they upgraded. all of their staff genuinely care about the patients coming in and out. if you’re considering sending your child to this facility, this is their best option, coming from an individual who spent her life in and out of hospitals and residentials. this is the best place you will ever find.

I just started going here a couple months ago. Dr. Edmonds has been thorough and very helpful to me. Dr. Jordan was very helpful as well. The administrative staff, nurses, and techs have all been polite, professional and helpful. With phone calls, on site appointments, referrals, etc. I think these folks at the Southern PG county clinic are doing a great job helping veterans. Thanks everyone!

I went in for an immunity boost IV and had such a great experience! The space is welcoming and everyone was incredibly kind and professional. I’m a notoriously hard stick, but they used a vein finder and even numbed the area first, which made the whole process surprisingly pleasant. The IV was easy, relaxing, and I felt great afterward.
I’ll definitely be back and probably adding a little Botox next time, because why not? Highly recommend! 💉✨

Over the past two years, I’ve been to this clinic several times and I have not had ANY issues. Not one. Dr. Fischer is my primary care physician and she is very knowledgeable, responsive, and great bedside manner. I was also seen by a Nurse Practitioner, can’t remember her name but great service. Everyone is very nice and pleasant. A breath of fresh air, especially compared to the main VA.
