Went here as an adolescent and I'm glad to see it's still there and that mark and his adventure therapy is still a thing. I still remember the course. Thank you for helping me. Though I did sadly relapse a few years later. But I'm clean now and I have over ten years under my belt. My son has been here before. He is no longer a younger man, n has been to many rehabs. He states this is the best in state of Md. The staff is respectful of the patients needs. Although I can't contact him for encouragement, his counselor makes sure he gets a chance to call home.

I visited Arundel Lodge’s mental health Urgent Care during a mental health/domestic violence crisis where I was unhoused and very unwell. I had been discharged prematurely and without proper treatment by the AAMC ED twice, BWMC ED twice, and Harbor Hospital ED once, even with a ongoing case file from police and Crisis Response, as well as a petition for treatment by an Officer. I was exhausted, sick, diagnosed with ketoacidosis from lack of nutrition and just wanted genuine clinical answers/help and not discrimination. The lovely receptionist immediately treated me with kindness and sympathy when I walked in with my bags, taking them and I back to a room immediately. Dr. Julie Seaman was able to evaluate and prescribe medication for my situation, and for the first time in years, I feel as though I have been prescribed the proper medication regimen for my Bipolar 1. With this care and reassurance, I was able to gather myself and regain control of the situation. Thank you for all you do here at Arundel Lodge. Kindness and compassion goes a long, long way!

I’ve had nothing but a great experience they actually care. Tiffany and Megan the receptionists are the sweetest and have even offered for me to call and just talk, after hours. I love them. Dr. Seamen is a saint and deserves more than she’s recognized for. I’ve been treated with nothing but love and care and it’s super refreshing, Dr. S even referred me to a psychiatrist, Dr. Mary Beth and I’m sure it’ll be as good treatment as ever. It feels amazing longingly be heard/treated and not just pushed medicine.

While my brother left the shelter (as we all know being unhoused is a very complicated issue), the people case managers etc. all followed through with every aspect of this program. If you look at the website and compare his experience; Light House Shelter delivered on every single goal they set to accomplish with him. He is doing very well and about to move into an apartment, and couldn't be more thankful. This is how you approach complicated societal issues. Also, volunteering here is made very accessible. The sign up genius makes it so easy. AND the restaurant is an amazing program with delicious food. Annapolis and the surrounding area is so very lucky to have Light House.

Counselors are compassionate and really want you to succeed. If you don’t complete the program it is 100% your fault. Only program that has transportation and an open door group policy.

It took me almost 50 years to find my perfect one! I just went in for my first appointment here and the whole experience just blew me away. So far beyond my expectations. Super knowledgeable people and the whole time they were focused on the long term recovery and development and not just a quick fix. I highly recommend them and if you're getting a prescription for an orthotic or prosthesis, I'd recommend getting it filled here.

I stayed here for a month and it was a great experience. the staff was extremely helpful and caring. I never felt more tended to. The food was ok it was more the environment that helped relax me. They had the whole place being cleaned and it made me feel comfortable. The therapists were very encouraging and I feel like I couldn't have gotten to this place in my life without them. They leave your drug test in an open box with the person many times not there watching it. Anyone can mess with them. I have watched someone do this.
The way they do stuff should be investigated by the Board of Professional Counselors and Therapists.

Was going here for 10-11 months and had to go away for a while (jail)😔 so the jail makes you transfer to there program if you're there for long enough or if not u get detoxed when I got out I tried going back and they wouldn't let me told me they recommend inpatient SMH don't recommend this place

I will rate Chrysalis House based on when I was there and when it was being ran by different staff and Mrs Carisaa was there. Other than that I can not speak for the program after Mrs. Carissa left. When I was there it was tough but it is what i needed. I have never been to a program that actually cared and literally internally got to me dug up some buried issues and I worked on them. Mrs. MELVINA was my counselor, she was amazing. Most of the staff had went through addiction. Mrs Denise was amazzziiinnggg i never felt uncomfortable, leaving my son with them during the day. The whole staff at that time was amazing. Yes, it was very strict, but they did it in a loving way because they did not want us to die. I know countless women
That graduated the Chrysalis House and are still clean. I have ten fifteen, close lifelong friends that I had met at Chrysalis and that are still clean to this day. I have never went to a treatment that had this much success. Like I said, I cannot speak for the new staff, but it sounds like it is still a great program.While I was there and before I left, they were building on the new addition which was beautiful.It was finished before I left but was not open yet. A woman and children's program is needed and I hope that this one is ran as good as it was when I was there.I'm sure it is. I felt so safe with my children. I'll forever be grateful for Mrs. Carissa and all the staff.

I was someone who stayed here for so time almost a year. I know you can't please everyone but they did try to. Most of the residential staff was wonderful very attentive to the clients needs. The two that I felt that went beyond their job was Simone and Melissa I felt very safe and comfortable w them and they are some of the most compassionate, caring staff I have come across I truly believe they are at their job not only for a paycheck but to help. Thank you to all the residential staff. The clinical team here is beyond amazing I am actually lost for words how much the team does. CAM has by far been the best program I’ve been on. I was at another program (Cherryhill) for years & that place Hod change your whole energy. I would go in happy, come out in a horrible mood! There were a few good people there like Mrs. Hope & Nurse Michelle & a few good counselors, but at CAM, everyone has been amazing! From the beautiful woman at the front to the nurses & counselors, I am grateful for each one of them. I’ve been clean for 14 years & continue to be clean because of CAM.

I stayed inpatient here back in 2018 and the people who worked here helped shape my recovery story today. I go here, I have since December so it's been 6 months now. And while I like it here and everyone is so nice and kind. Everything moves slow. I understand they have other people and other paperwork being pushed through, I've just personally never been to a clinic that is this slow with process paperwork. Like every 30 days you're eligible for phasing up if you're doing good and everything looks good clean urines etc I've had clean Urines for almost 2 1/2 years and been here 6 months and STILL coming in twice a week. The last clinic I was at I had already gotten 2 weeks take homes by the time I was going on my 3rd month! So if paperwork could get processed faster this place would be great! So for that reason I'm only giving 4 starts!

I've been a client here for awhile....I just read some of the reviews left by former clients & employees... most if not all of the problems they listed either have been dealt with.... or did not occur in suite 201....now suite 101....I don't go there so I can't say... but wait times have improved significantly upstairs, I'm very happy with my current counselor, Ms Betty...and hope things stay this way.

I underwent sinusitis surgery for the 2nd time at this place (the 1st is different), and I am extremely grateful for the quality of care provided. The ENT's was thorough in the diagnosis, patiently answering all my questions and explaining the procedure in detail. On the day of surgery, the medical team ensured I felt safe and well-prepared. Post-operative care was excellent, nurses also monitored my condition closely and offered helpful guidance for home recovery. The environment was quite clean, organized, and calming. My breathing has significantly improved, and the discomfort I previously experienced from chronic sinusitis is gone. I truly appreciate the professionalism and compassion shown by everyone involved

Well- very good methadone program. You are assigned a counselor. You attend groups to help keep you sober. They do drug test with surprise drug test weekly monthly depending on how long you have been with the program and if your urine are clean. They understand relapses happen. My favorite part is if you give clean urines-see your counselor-go to groups-report to recalls- you do earn take homes. You start out coming to medmark 6 days a week. But you can earn take homes after a few months and only have to come in every 2 weeks or once a month. Best decision of my life.
