I visited Arundel Lodge’s mental health Urgent Care during a mental health/domestic violence crisis where I was unhoused and very unwell. I had been discharged prematurely and without proper treatment by the AAMC ED twice, BWMC ED twice, and Harbor Hospital ED once, even with a ongoing case file from police and Crisis Response, as well as a petition for treatment by an Officer. I was exhausted, sick, diagnosed with ketoacidosis from lack of nutrition and just wanted genuine clinical answers/help and not discrimination. The lovely receptionist immediately treated me with kindness and sympathy when I walked in with my bags, taking them and I back to a room immediately. Dr. Julie Seaman was able to evaluate and prescribe medication for my situation, and for the first time in years, I feel as though I have been prescribed the proper medication regimen for my Bipolar 1. With this care and reassurance, I was able to gather myself and regain control of the situation. Thank you for all you do here at Arundel Lodge. Kindness and compassion goes a long, long way!

I’ve had nothing but a great experience they actually care. Tiffany and Megan the receptionists are the sweetest and have even offered for me to call and just talk, after hours. I love them. Dr. Seamen is a saint and deserves more than she’s recognized for. I’ve been treated with nothing but love and care and it’s super refreshing, Dr. S even referred me to a psychiatrist, Dr. Mary Beth and I’m sure it’ll be as good treatment as ever. It feels amazing longingly be heard/treated and not just pushed medicine.

Went here as an adolescent and I'm glad to see it's still there and that mark and his adventure therapy is still a thing. I still remember the course. Thank you for helping me. Though I did sadly relapse a few years later. But I'm clean now and I have over ten years under my belt. I remember the food was good too that's always a plus cuz you never wanna eat depending on what drugs you were on.

My son has been here before. He is no longer a younger man, n has been to many rehabs. He states this is the best in state of Md. The staff is respectful of the patients needs. Although I can't contact him for encouragement, his counselor makes sure he gets a chance to call home.

While my brother left the shelter (as we all know being unhoused is a very complicated issue), the people case managers etc. all followed through with every aspect of this program. If you look at the website and compare his experience; Light House Shelter delivered on every single goal they set to accomplish with him. He is doing very well and about to move into an apartment, and couldn't be more thankful. This is how you approach complicated societal issues. Also, volunteering here is made very accessible. The sign up genius makes it so easy. AND the restaurant is an amazing program with delicious food. Annapolis and the surrounding area is so very lucky to have Light House.

Counselors are compassionate and really want you to succeed. If you don’t complete the program it is 100% your fault. Only program that has transportation and an open door group policy.

I cannot rave highly enough about MCOP Annapolis and their entire crew! I have been an AK amputee since 1975 and have cycled thru 25-30 different prosthetics providers during that time. It took me almost 50 years to find my perfect one! Charlie Kelly understood how unique and challenging my particular situation was and took the time and effort to make one that is exactly suited to what I need/ want. I am eternally grateful to him, James, Lexus, Jenn and the others who have made me a very happy and grateful client!

I just went in for my first appointment here and the whole experience just blew me away. So far beyond my expectations. Super knowledgeable people and the whole time they were focused on the long term recovery and development and not just a quick fix. I highly recommend them and if you're getting a prescription for an orthotic or prosthesis, I'd recommend getting it filled here.

Not gonna lie, I showed up to Tranquility Woods with the attitude of a dude being sent to jury duty for a month. I was skeptical, annoyed, and fully prepared to hate the whole experience. Instead, I ended up meeting some of the realest people I've talked to in years. The funniest part is that a bunch of people from completely different backgrounds somehow ended up in the same place having the deepest conversations imaginable one minute and arguing about the thermostat the next. Recovery is a weird universe. The staff treated me with respect, and Nicole was especially awesome. She actually listened instead of talking at people. A lot of folks there felt the same way. You can tell when somebody genuinely cares and when they're just reading from a script. I also met some great people along the way. People who made me laugh, people who challenged my thinking, and people who reminded me that everybody is carrying something heavy, whether they show it or not. The food was solid, the facility was comfortable, and I got way more out of the experience than I expected. I came in rolling my eyes and left with people I still keep in touch with. No place is perfect, but Tranquility Woods gave me time to think, reset, and meet some genuinely good human beings. Five stars from the guy who was convinced he wasn't going to give five stars. 😂 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Tranquility woods has been transformative for me. The Clinicians were awesome. The grounds serene. I met with my Therapist 4 times a week. I had a weekly massage, acupuncture, great food and met friends for life. It was a emotional rollercoaster, but I was able to start healing from my trauma. Im grateful I gave myself this gift of recovery. Now the real work begins.

I will rate Chrysalis House based on when I was there and when it was being ran by different staff and Mrs Carisaa was there. Other than that I can not speak for the program after Mrs. Carissa left. When I was there it was tough but it is what i needed. I have never been to a program that actually cared and literally internally got to me dug up some buried issues and I worked on them. Mrs. MELVINA was my counselor, she was amazing. Most of the staff had went through addiction. Mrs Denise was amazzziiinnggg i never felt uncomfortable, leaving my son with them during the day. The whole staff at that time was amazing. Yes, it was very strict, but they did it in a loving way because they did not want us to die. I know countless women That graduated the Chrysalis House and are still clean. I have ten fifteen, close lifelong friends that I had met at Chrysalis and that are still clean to this day. I have never went to a treatment that had this much success. Like I said, I cannot speak for the new staff, but it sounds like it is still a great program.While I was there and before I left, they were building on the new addition which was beautiful.It was finished before I left but was not open yet. A woman and children's program is needed and I hope that this one is ran as good as it was when I was there.I'm sure it is. I felt so safe with my children. I'll forever be grateful for Mrs. Carissa and all the staff.

I was someone who stayed here for so time almost a year. I know you can't please everyone but they did try to. Most of the residential staff was wonderful very attentive to the clients needs. The two that I felt that went beyond their job was Simone and Melissa I felt very safe and comfortable w them and they are some of the most compassionate, caring staff I have come across I truly believe they are at their job not only for a paycheck but to help. From the moment I got on the phone with them, I felt like someone actually heard me . They didn’t push me or judge me—just straight up helped me figure out what I needed. The place had a super chill energy, kind of like a breath of fresh air after all the chaos I’d been through .What hit different was the way they blended structure with real understanding. CAM has by far been the best program I’ve been on. I was at another program (Cherryhill) for years & that place Hod change your whole energy. I would go in happy, come out in a horrible mood! There were a few good people there like Mrs. Hope & Nurse Michelle & a few good counselors, but at CAM, everyone has been amazing! From the beautiful woman at the front to the nurses & counselors, I am grateful for each one of them. I’ve been clean for 14 years & continue to be clean because of CAM.

Managing health issues are always a difficult, but I have found the people and facilities at Riverview make every effort to make these moments as easy on you as possible. Valet your car at the front door, register at the front desk, take in the sweeping views of the river, and be seen by doctors, nurses, and the all the other staff members who make you feel like a real-life person they care about helping rather than a cog in the machine of their business. Dr Ciervo and team saved my life in a medical emergency a few years ago and I will never forget how compassionate they were through the entire process. I also highly recommend the Women's Center for annual screenings and follow up procedures as Dr Borofsky and her team - specifically Tiffany, Lisa, Doris and Danielle - were a dream team and provided the kind of top-notch care that all women deserve. Edit: Removed a star as admin and billing required some corrections. Wherever you go, be your own advocate!

So in my time at the Tuerk house programs so far I believe there is potential everywhere has its ups n downs but this place is definitely better than most of places I’ve been and I can’t count how many places I’ve been in the last 10 plus years

I just started going here a couple months ago. Dr. Edmonds has been thorough and very helpful to me. Dr. Jordan was very helpful as well. The administrative staff, nurses, and techs have all been polite, professional and helpful. With phone calls, on site appointments, referrals, etc. I think these folks at the Southern PG county clinic are doing a great job helping veterans. Thanks everyone!
