I like the facility and staff for the most part. Didn't like the amount of smoke breaks or at least how far apart they were. If you can check yourself out of the place I don't see why you're not trusted to smoke in their enclosed area. But the food was good. The chef there, John, made sure you had multiple options available

I had a food experience here. SCADD detox has some wonderful staff that really left a impression on me and relate with the clients there through their own experiences .

Knowing the staff has to deal with some difficult people 'i get why they might have a attitude once in awhile. This program probably saved my life but it definitely changed since I've been coming here for 22 years. Seems to me that the MONEY is most important to this place' but that's the sad part I am grateful for this place still the same. Thanks.

I've been with UCFs for about 4 yrs now.. I've been able to get my health on track like no other. My Dr has been so beneficial as well as mental health. I'm getting both my knees replaced and my Dr has been 5star with me. Thank You UCFS for also helping guide me to sobriety . 33

I've been working with Michelle for many years now and I have no complaints. She was always available and my prescriptions were sent in quickly. She spends the time to talk to you about the prescriptions, if they are working or not, or if you want to switch any. She has a discussion with you in detail and had even offered me samples before to check out a new medication I was interested in. Since Covid, I don't even have to go to their office, it's all virtual.

I’ve been seeing Michele, my Psych APRN, for six years. I was honestly shocked to see low ratings online, as I believe they stem from past staffing issues and not a reflection of Michele herself. When I first started with Michele, I was a newly single mom, early in sobriety, and had just returned to my home state. I'd never been able to maintain sobriety or stick with a consistent, competent provider before. Michele changed that. As a mental health professional myself, I appreciate her understanding of the challenges I face. She respects that I know what works for me and never talks down or assumes a power dynamic. That mutual respect is rare and refreshing. She has consistently been there when I needed her—offering short-notice appointments, guiding me through medication changes, and sharing insight based on patient experiences. She provides helpful context on what to expect from medications and offers samples when insurance delays occur. Michele stays on top of refills—something that’s been a major issue with other providers I’ve had in the past. She knows how critical it is to not miss doses and ensures her patients don’t have to go without. Beyond medications, she offers thoughtful, holistic guidance—encouraging good sleep, nutrition, therapy, and attention to one's environment, all of which impact mental health. She sees the whole person, not just the diagnosis, and her approach reflects deep empathy and understanding. Michele recently moved into a new, calm, and bright office space, which she now shares with a small, stable team. The environment is private, peaceful, and easily accessible—but what matters most to me is that Michele herself is accessible. I don’t have to go through multiple layers of staff just to get help. That direct connection is invaluable. Over the years, she’s supported me through one of the hardest times of my life—emotionally, physically, and mentally. She never dismisses my concerns and always offers encouragement, especially on tough days when I’m doubting myself as a mom or struggling with chronic health issues. She reminds me that I’m doing my best and that things will get better. I’m especially grateful for her flexibility—offering telehealth when getting to the office is tough and allowing me to bring my child when needed. As a solo mom, that level of understanding makes a world of difference. Her support has helped me stay sober and emotionally stable—something I never thought was possible before working with her. Michele is the first provider I’ve had who is consistent, present, and reliable year after year. I genuinely hope she continues practicing for a long time because having someone like her in your corner—especially when managing recovery, chronic illness, and mental health—is rare and incredibly valuable. This codac is truly the best addition treatment clinic i been to. The staff is so friendly and helpful they can help with alot of drug addictions unlike lots of other clinics. This clinic also has medical and mental health care

My Mom had a wonderful experience at Stony Brook Eastern Long Island hospital! The care she received was exceptional! We were so impressed with how quick the response time was by the staff when the call button was pushed. The staff at every level was kind, caring, patient and professional. They went out of their way to make my Mom’s extended visit comfortable. Mom appreciated some of the staff’s humor and detailed explanations. My mother is legally blind and the staff went out of their way to help guide her with meals and walks with lots of detailed verbal cues. As you can see, Mom made the best of her stay ringing in the New year on 2North. Through the PHP program and therapy, I was able to overcome issues I wouldn't have able to do alone. The staff are pleasant and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this place.

Life changing. Literally. Before this program, I was a broken, shell of a person. Five months later, I’ve got relationships with friends and family back. I have ambition, purpose, and I’m hopeful for the future. Between all of the therapists & case managers like Bri and JP, the staff at Ocean State actually cares. In comparison, no other program even comes close. If you’re on the fence about choosing a program or taking that first step to reach out for help, call Ocean State. I guarantee you won’t regret it. EDIT: I was hired here shortly after completing the program and my opinion of this place has only gotten better since starting to work here almost a year ago.

I just want to say i actually just graduated from ocean state recovery today and sincerely want to thank them for all the support they gave me during my journey on getting sober i can honestly say without their support and sense of care i would have not been able to maintain sobriety throughout everything im going through they helped me get through it all and still strong today getting through it i want to thank all the staff they are so respectful helpful and there for you no matter what especially in a time of you trying to fix your life and keep clean staying sober and finding a better solution id recommend anyone to this place in getting that support and push to finding and reaching that better you and getting sober... From the front desk to the doctors and counselors, everyone takes the time to listen and provide support without judgment. Their integrated approach to healthcare—covering physical, behavioral, and mental health—makes it easier to get comprehensive care in one place. The medical team explains treatment options clearly and works with you to find what fits best. Wait times can vary, but overall, the quality of care and compassion shown by the providers more than make up for it. They also offer helpful resources for recovery, wellness, and community support, which shows they’re truly invested in helping people improve their lives.

Intake appointment was smooth. I was seen by very compassionate APRN Heather and had visit with behavioral specialist. My first therapy session is scheduled for October. I have high hopes.
