Had an absolute great experience at JMH. My mom was hospitalized there for an elderly fall and a UTI. And they took amazing care for her. Hopefully the nurses there can see this at some point. In the ER Danielle was incredible talked me thru all my concerns and answered all my questions and David was so friendly and was so kind with my mother. If there was a 6 star they would get it. On the ICU unit Gina was a God sent nurse. I feel like my mother had a new best friend, can’t explain in words how much she did for her and the family…..Maybe name a wing after your superb health care workers.

I’ve had a very positive experience with this clinic. From the beginning, the staff made me feel welcomed, respected, and supported in my recovery journey. The counselors are compassionate, knowledgeable, and genuinely care about your well-being. They take the time to listen and tailor the sessions to your needs rather than just following a script. The medication-assisted treatment has been life-changing for me. The medical staff is attentive and explains everything clearly, making sure I always felt informed and comfortable with my treatment plan. Appointments are well-organized, and I rarely had to wait long. Communication was smooth, and I always felt like I could ask questions or express concerns without judgment. I’m truly grateful for the care I’ve received here. If you or someone you love is struggling and looking for help, I highly recommend this clinic. They offer real support, not just treatment.

Inter Community, 40 Coventry St, Hartford CT. I’ve had a very good experience with InterCommunity Health. The staff is welcoming, respectful, and genuinely cares about patient well-being. From the front desk to the doctors and counselors, everyone takes the time to listen and provide support without judgment. Their integrated approach to healthcare—covering physical, behavioral, and mental health—makes it easier to get comprehensive care in one place. The medical team explains treatment options clearly and works with you to find what fits best. Wait times can vary, but overall, the quality of care and compassion shown by the providers more than make up for it. They also offer helpful resources for recovery, wellness, and community support, which shows they’re truly invested in helping people improve their lives.

Carlson was the right place at the right time for me to bring a friend of mine who had finally decided to detox and go into an aftercare program, from addiction. The place was well organized, seemed to be run well and plenty of patient supervision, from the point that my friend made it through the complete admission process, she was able to reach out to myself and her sister, and her mother, and then transition to the Hope house in Springfield. I strongly encourage anyone battling with addiction and / or dual diagnosis as well, to call Carlson for bed availability and go through the program. A lot has changed in this field over the past five years, but most notably over the past two years, and there is help and there is hope, if you know somebody who’s struggling out there, they are somebody’s daughter they are somebody’s son. They could also be somebody’s spouse and they could also be somebody’s parent as well, try to do what you can to help them as long as it’s within your cable tow. God bless.

I think the Carlson center was awesome. They medicate you so you are really comfortable. Their food is incredible and you can get seconds too which is helpful when you are starving and coming off alcohol. Every time I relapsed I went there because I knew they would give me another chance. You should go to groups but yes you can sleep if you’re tired. I remember the first time I went there. I was in serious alcohol withdrawal. I had the best sleep after being medicated. Their staff is great too. They saved my life. They wake you up for vitals early but you may need medication. They have punch in the tv room which I drank like no tomorrow. Snacks too. I’ve been there like 7 times and they always treat me great. I wish I could say my name but can’t. You will always get a second chance there

IOL has been there for me when I was at rock bottom. My first time there in December 2023 was ok, the staff was kind except for one tech from the adult unit... When I went back last December, I ended up staying for Christmas, and the staff did their best to make us happy with gifts, games, etc. I stayed for almost a month and started becoming myself again with help from my favourite tech and my favorite nurses. This was the first place that actually treated me like a human being while being in a psych facility. Most of the staff were still there from the first time and they had a better understanding with what was going on. I was so happy they remembered what had helped me last time.

I absolutely love this place. The way they pour into people and help them discover purpose and a better future is truly inspiring. I’ve seen firsthand how lives are changed here. I’m incredibly grateful for the support, encouragement, and impact they provide every single day. May the blessing of the Lord always be on this house and all the employees as well as people who are on the management level.
