About Cranberry Township Comprehensive Treatment Cente

Cranberry, Pennsylvania, is home to the Cranberry Township Comprehensive Treatment Center, an outpatient methadone clinic. Cranberry Township Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC) provides treatment options for those over the age of 18 who are fighting against opioid use disorder and are looking to take their lives back. This facility currently offers same-day admission, so anyone who is ready to take their first steps towards reclaiming their lives won’t have to wait around for support. Even better, CTC offers around the clock appointment scheduling, so as soon as a resident is ready to take those first steps, there are scheduling options available.

Not only does CTC prescribe methadone to provide medication assisted treatment (MAT), but they also provide both individual and group therapy options. Plus, the care team at CTC will work with every individual who walks through their doors to create a unique and customized treatment plan based on their needs and goals. As an individual first enters the outpatient program, a medical examination will occur to ensure that methadone is the best treatment option for them. CTC does offer an option of take-home dosing of methadone.

Currently, CTC offers cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavior therapy. The type of therapy that an individual would be recommended to participate in will depend on what the individual and care team decide together.

Cranberry Township Comprehensive Treatment Center has state and public funding. But for any costs that are not covered by the funding, they accept Medicaid, Medicare, self pay, TRICARE and most commercial insurances.

Other Forms of Payment

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Medicaid is a state based program that helps lower-income individuals and families pay for healthcare. Medicaid covers addiction treatment so those enrolled can use their coverage to pay for rehab. When a program accepts Medicaid the client often pays very little or nothing out of their own pocket.

Medicare is a federal program that provides health insurance for those 65 and older. It also serves people under 65 with chronic and disabling health challenges. To use Medicare for addiction treatment you need to find a program that accepts Medicare and is in network with your plan. Out of pocket costs and preauthorization requirements vary, so always check with your provider.

Military members, veterans, and eligible dependents have access to specific insurance programs that help them get the care they need. TRICARE and VA insurance can help you access low cost or no cost addiction and mental health treatment. Programs that accept military insurance often have targeted treatment focused on the unique challenges military members, veterans, and their families face.

Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient
Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.
medically-assisted-detox iconMedically Assisted Detox
Drug and alcohol addiction often takes a heavy toll on one’s body. Over time, a physical dependence can develop, meaning the body physiologically needs the substance to function. Detox is the process of removing drugs and/or alcohol from the body, a process that can be lethal if mismanaged. Medical detox is done by licensed medical professionals who monitor vital signs and keep you safe, healthy, and as comfortable as possible as you go through detox and withdrawal.
heart-hands iconIntervention Services
Intervention services bring extensive experience to the planning and conducting of drug interventions in Pennsylvania. These experts can facilitate interventions in a sensitive manner that encourages positive outcomes. The goal of the intervention is to educate the individual about addiction and the consequences of their substance use and encourage them to get the treatment they need. Interventions can be effective with all types of drugs and alcohol addiction.

Treatments

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

Substance rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from substance abuse, including alcohol and drug addiction (both illegal and prescription drugs). They often include the opportunity to engage in both individual as well as group therapy.

Programs

adult-program thumbnail image
Adult Program
Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.
young-adult-program thumbnail image
Young Adult Program
Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.

Clinical Services

Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) in Pennsylvania can be helpful to individuals who are experiencing substance use disorder and various mental health conditions. It helps you identify damaging thought and behavior patterns and replace them with healthy ones.

Dialectical behavior therapy in Pennsylvania is an evidence based technique that involves group therapy, individual therapy, and phone coaching. Group sessions focus on learning behavioral skills. Individual therapy gives you the opportunity to apply what you're learning to your personal situations. Phone coaching allows you to call your therapist during the week for help with challenging situations.

Research clearly demonstrates that recovery is far more successful and sustainable when loved ones like family members participate in rehab and substance abuse treatment. Genetic factors may be at play when it comes to drug and alcohol addiction, as well as mental health issues. Family dynamics often play a critical role in addiction triggers, and if properly educated, family members can be a strong source of support when it comes to rehabilitation.

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

Discovery House saved my life. I struggled with addiction for 30 years and tried all different programs and mats but couldn't stay clean. This program is the only program that has kept me clean. Your given all the resources and help you need. Tracy is the best. She run everything at the front desk. Miranda is the best nurse and the lines are never long. My counselor is also very good, caring and always there to help . Can't say enough about the place. I owe them alot.

If I could give 10 stars I would. This clinic is wonderful. Every single person that chooses to work there shows up for all of us everyday and with a smile. Truly. Starting with Tracy who knows each and everyone of us and know all of the policies inside and out. Always friendly and ALWAYS knows the answer to your questions. Enrika is fabulous. Anything you could possibly need she will figure it out and have the information ready for you. She definitely loves her job because it shows in all the she does. The nurses are all pleasant and encouraging. Miranda always has a smile for you and tells you when she's proud of you. The first time she said that to me (3 & 1/2 years ago) I knew i never wanted to disappoint her. Brittany is also kind and lovely to talk too. Gail makes things quick and easy and is always so professional. The absolute best part are the counselors. Although all of them are great, Latina is simply the best. Since day 1 she has made me feel important and cared for. She goes above and beyond to help her clients and I can absolutely say that she helped to save my life. If you are looking for somewhere new or for your first clinic, please contact them. They just might save your life, too.
