Been going here 15+ years. Well actually in cranberry 1st, then here at NC. In all that time, I've come to realize this: they don't need us. We need them. They have ALL the leverage, we have none. That being said, I would suggest getting down on your knees and thanking God that you have the option here in NC of Discovery House. Would u rather go back to criming, sick every other day.. Ugh. Not me. If u follow the rules, such as showing up during dosing hours,etc u will have no issues.

I started going to the New Castle VA Clinic (Butler Rd, Ridgewood building) in 2023. From Eddie at the front desk, to my nurse, to my Physician Assistant, to Dr. John, I've always had great experiences & excellent care. While I did have to go for a couple of minor things in the past 2+ years, the appointment scheduling process was easy and efficient... Gratefully, I do NOT have any health issues, and only need to go there for annual physicals, etc., but I give them all 5⭐

I've been going there for about 8 yrs, very satisfied with the treatment I've received there

This place honestly saved my life!

I was a resident at highland house from December 23rd 2019 - June 1st 2020 I must say this place is awesome compared to other half way house's. I came to highland house not knowing what to expect, because it was a new area that I have never been to. This place has slot of things to offer but most importantly they give you multiple opportunity at different resources and my advice to anyone who may decide to go to this place is take advantage of every resource that you can it really is a stepping stone to changing your life around if I ever need to go back to a half way house I would most certainly choose highland house again the staff is amazing and went out of their way to accommodate any needs we may needed if they were able to. Highland house saved my life why not let it save yours too.

Its been years of chaos trying to figure out what is going on and what will work. I came here and got the right diagnostion and the right meds with in a 6 month period. Dr. Synica B. is awsome. Sorry if spelled name wrong. Lol

So thankful for Dr Dixon and his staff! He was our second opinion for our son. It’s been life changing in the best way possible. He was able to spot his needs right away and get a plan. It’s been 1 year and my son is doing AMAZING. I am so so thankful to be here. I highly recommend Dr Dixon to everyone!🧩

It's been years but when I got out of a State hospital they saw me at the 5 th floor and came to Edison manor nursing home for 10 years had a lot of up and down moment but I'm making it's ty all for being there for me a lot of people count on you

If your a veteran your care is top of the line, the nurses and Doctors care about you.I am adding to this post on Dec. 1 2025 my house was considered a total loss. I went to the VA. For assistance in this time of need. I am not service connected not disabled and they went above and beyond. 10 Stars.

The Butler VA center is probably the best one I have ever visited. Every doctor, secretary, and staff member I have interacted with was kind and professional.

Never had an issue any of the multiple times I've been in so far. Staff has always been friendly and helpful. Very up to date and clean facility as well.

I've been coming here for 2 and a half years & they've kept me sober from a 13 year IV h addiction! I will always have a place in my heart & mind from this place helping me stay sober & change my life!🥰

Best clinic I've ever been to been to

Great Clinic. I started at the New Castle Location when it was The Discovery House and then transferred to the Cranberry location when I moved, and then ended here at the Farrell location when I moved again back to Ohio. They accepted Ohio medicaid and I really didn't want to change clinics, so I stayed with Discovery House/Comprehensive Treatment Center. Each location was fantastic. By far my favorite clinics. Counselors and staff were 100% amazing and super caring, considerate and most importantly understanding and non judgemental. I really recommend this place.

I would definitely recommend giving this place a chance. It has helped me tremendously. It has truly saved my life.

My father’s building had exploded, and I was worried sick about him. He needs his medication daily, and I was desperate to find a way to help. The owner here is an amazing individual who stepped in to help my father in a time of great need. My father has nothing but good things to say about this place, and I’m so happy he’s able to take care of his health along side caring doctors, nurses, and therapists. ❤️

They are helping me more than most of the places I have been. Good to finally make progress. Only issue I am having is they never answer the phones. Always have to leave a message and they rarely call back.

I've been going here for years and when I started I was homeless and at the lowest point in my life. They helped me not only get sober but through counseling deal with mental health issues and provided me with resources to get my life back on track. Clear Choices helped save my life and I'm grateful for the help but in the end you have to be willing to put it the work and follow the rules and guidelines!

This place not only saved my life but also several friends and family of mine. The staff is so kind, caring and helpful-from the young lady at the front desk (who goes above and beyond what they expect of her), to the nurses, the counselors, the doctor and the women who run the place. I can't say enough good things about all of the staff. If you need help and are serious about your sobriety-this is the place to go!!!!

I would recommend this practice. Dr. Mathur is an excellent doctor and head helped me tremendously.

Dr. Mathur is fantastic and Karen too!!! They have helped with my son so very much! Dr. Mathur doesn’t rush the visits like other Dr.’s. They genuinely care about the patient. Karen is great, she’s the glue. They are a fantastic pair. Professional, kind, knowledgeable, understanding and they both truly care about their patients. I highly recommend this office!

The place saved my life "mostly " everyone is kind and courteous...

The people here have saved my life. They actually care and want you to get better. I have to talk about Erin the nurse though. She has been such a great influence on my life. She has always been there to help and encourage me to succeed but never ever have I felt judged by her for my previous mistakes. I’ve seen some people get mad and say horrible things about her because they lost their privileges, only to later come and tell her thank you for holding them accountable and helping them to really get back on track. When you’re an addict you place blame on others so much because it’s the only way you can live with yourself, but then you come to realize that it’s us who did wrong, they realized Erin didn’t take their privileges they took them from themselves, and the same people have come around and told me she saved their lives as well. She is an incredible nurse. She cares so much and sets an excellent example. I hope that Foundations realize just how blessed they are to have someone like her. She’s a treasure and a beautiful soul. One reason I’ve been clean for so long is I couldn’t stand to let her down. When I say she’s saved my life I mean it. Cherish her. Always!

I cannot say enough good about foundations and their staff. The nurses Erin and Edie are God sends. These people have helped save my life and I have many years clean and sober because of their help. People have preconceived notions and judgments about medication assisted recovery but you don’t know how it really is. These people care. They don’t want you stuck there. They saved my life over and over and I will forever be grateful. I’m going on 19 years clean because of their help and services. If you or a loved one needs help, there’s no better help out there than foundations. ADDED…. I was reading the other reviews and I’d love to address the one who says the nurses are horrible human beings. ABSOLUTELY NOT. When you don’t follow the rules that are out there for your safety you lose privileges. The nurses are not being mean by having to tell you that you failed a drug test or you didn’t show up to group so you can’t have the same privileges as those who do what’s right.. YOU DID THAT TO YOURSELF. And then he stated someone should burn it down!? If anyone did something so heinous because they can’t comply.. you’d be totally destroying so many peoples future. Not only would you take innocent peoples jobs but you’d crush single moms in recovery and other people trying to make it! How incredibly horrible! If anyone out there wants to get their lives back these people will bend over backwards to help you. Please don’t be turned off by a rant from someone who destroyed his own experience by not doing what’s right. Part of recovery is taking responsibility for your mistakes. No one can ruin your recovery but you. Foundations is amazing and they care. Especially the AMAZING NURSES! I want to add about my counselor Sydney. I have never in my life felt more advocated for. She is absolutely amazing. The people here truly care and want to see people get better. The only people who have problems are the ones who are completely out of line and disrespectful. They’re mad because they don’t get privileges but they forget they are the ones who ruin it for themselves. The nurses didn’t make you give a positive urinalysis. You did that. I have maintained my privileges for over a decade by simply allowing myself to live a normal life. And I wouldn’t have this chance if it wasn’t for the help of these great people. Thank you foundation’s staff for helping to save my life. My son who I got clean for in the first place is now on his way to becoming a state trooper. If you listen to them and do what you’re supposed to do. You will have your life back!

Been coming here for a little over a year now and I am amazed at how well I am cared for by the staff. Mr Bailey takes the time to listen to me and the time to explain to me what I need to do to better manage my health. The nurses are very attentive and knowledgeable also and they to take the time to ask questions about what I am feeling. Everyone is very respectful of the fact they are treating Veterans.

I love this program and the staff! I'm so thankful for the investment that has been made in my family. We are eternally thankful!

I graduated the year program and it has been nothing short of a miracle. This program absolutely works if you apply yourself and work hard. I learned a vast amount about myself and about my own addiction. Furthermore the program furthered my relationship with Jesus christ, and now im proud too say im a believer in Jesus. This program is wonderfull because they not only have the spiritual side, they also have the clinical side in hope counseling. Lastly the staff here is caring and wonderfull.

Thank you for finally giving me my real father. Greg Enold was such an amazing man. I am forever grateful for you giving him the tools to better himself and find god. Even though his life was cut short you will never understand how grateful and thankful I am for none of you ever giving up on him.
