I’ve consistently had a frustrating experience with CHI billing. Simple payments take 25–30 minutes or more, and verifying accounts for my husband or child is unnecessarily complicated. Unlike other medical offices, they won’t tell you your full balance without a paper statement, making it hard to pay in full. The process is inefficient, inconsistent, and stressful every time. CHI seriously needs to improve billing procedures and customer service so families can manage their bills quickly and easily.

I walked in the emergency room yesterday feeling vulnerable and at my worst staff there was so kind to me offered me a warm blanket and pillows because I couldn’t sit or stand for too long. They were absolutely amazing at one point I was laying on the bed in so much pain. I didn’t say anything because I thought I didn’t want to be a burden and this one nurse walked in and she said are you OK and I said yes and she said I’m going to ask you again are you OK? Are you in pain? Is there anything I can do And I just started crying she brought me pillows. She brought me a warm blanket. She made sure I was OK thank you and Nurse Whitney thank you so much. it just shows me that there are people in this world that actually still cares about people your well-being. I appreciate you guys so much. Healthcare workers are heroes.❤️❤️

I strongly urge anyone to get a second opinion before trusting this place. My fiancé was misdiagnosed with hemorrhoids when, in reality, it was cancer. What makes this even more infuriating is that on their website, the very first page emphasizes “Colorectal Cancer – Catch it Early”—yet this lady completely ignored the signs. Medical professionals are only practicing medicine for a reason, it’s just an educated guess, and clearly, this woman’s education needs some serious improvement. If you value your health, seek a second opinion from a doctor who truly listens and takes your concerns seriously.

Where to start with this... My father went there from a facility that had to move him and the care was top notch, but due to him being on a swing bed we had to find another facility. The nurses were amazing Buffalo Hospital. When dad got moved into Bighorn things were not right from the start but we thought it was just from him moving. Walking in all you could smell was urine. And elders deposited in the front room with the TV on. Staff sitting around and on their phones talking smack about other workers. Yes I did hear everything. My dad was left in his room with another gentleman and the rooms are tiny. Dad is not mobile by himself and needs assistance, that being said they took his cath out but took their time getting to him when he hit the call button to use the restroom so he would have an accident. When someone came into his room and dropped food off he said wait I need to use the bathroom she flat said that was not her priority right now it was getting the food out and left. My dad called very upset so I went in and had to look for someone and they were sitting around on a ledge next to the kitchen asked to speak to someone in charge. The girl said someone's name and went oh well she isn't here but you can speak to this person she "might" know what she is talking about. I did speak with that nurse and told her I was upset that my father had to sit in his soiled clothes "unti" they were done with their priorities and that I'm not okay with how they treat my father. She said she understood and that she would have a talk. I also told her that they talked smack about her and some other people and they are always outside smoking rather than caring for the residents. She informed me that they had a CNA walk out of the job just that morning and they are very short staffed. She promised that things would change. IT DID NOT CHANGE! It got worse for my father and was treated very badly. I'm thankful today that my father is not longer in that hole. Look at their core values! Do they use those values? Hell no they do not. If you care and love your family member DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT PUT THEM IN THIS FACILITY!!!!!! They don't care at all except for the paycheck. I tried to reach out to the CEO as he has several facilities but of course was completely ignored. They said the remodeled *NOPE* filthy hole, stinks and no care. How can someone get excellent care one place then get transferred somewhere else and not get the SAME CARE????It should be the same care everywhere! If I didn't have to at least put one star they would have negative 1000000000000000000000.

At one time this nursing home had a reputation that made you question whether or not you should place a loved one here. I’m here to tell you that shouldn’t even be a question. My aunt came for therapy, a few months ago and was very reluctant to go. Now, she and my family couldn’t be happier. The staff is very caring, kind and respectful. There is laughter in the halls, there is a sense of pride in what they do, and they communicated very well with my aunt, and my family. I highly recommend Big Horn. It is clear they are going through some changes, but these changes have definitely served them and the other patients well.

I had the pleasure of working with the team at Big Horn Rehabilitation and Care Center in Sheridan about a month ago, and I was truly impressed by their warmth and dedication to the residents. The caregivers I met were not only friendly but deeply invested in providing quality care. You could feel the authenticity in the stories they shared, and it was clear that the residents are genuinely loved and well taken care of. During my time there, I filmed an interview with both administrators and employees, and hearing their passion for what they do really stood out to me. It’s rare to find a care facility where you sense such a personal connection between staff and residents. Based on my experience, I would wholeheartedly recommend Big Horn Rehabilitation and Care Center to my friends and family. If you’re looking for a place where your loved ones will be treated with compassion and respect, this is a great choice.
