About Fontainebleau Treatment Center

Fontainebleau Treatment Center is a part of the Florida Parishes Human Services Authority providing behavioral health services in Mandeville, Louisiana. At this facility, they offer their residential addiction treatment program. They have separate units for men and women. Specialty populations like pregnant women and intravenous drug users are admitted to these residential programs first. In addition to drug addiction and mental health treatment, you’ll also be able to access smoking cessation and gambling support.

While enrolled in this residential program, you’ll engage in group and individual therapy, peer support, and assessment and coordination of health needs. Suboxone, Sublocade and Vivitrol are medications used to help ease any discomfort that comes with withdrawal symptoms and help manage drug and alcohol cravings. They have Narcan on site to give out to program participants and family members to help prevent overdose. Focused therapy sessions are available for mental health disorders like anxiety, trauma and depression.

When you come to residential treatment, you’ll need to bring identification and proof of income with you. It’s important to note that if you take medications, you’ll need to bring them along with your pharmacist’s phone number.

In addition to clinical services like therapy and medication management, Florida Parishes Human Services Authority has contract providers that offer other services. These include respite care, crisis intervention, in home therapy and vocational training.

People who’ve received treatment at Fontainebleau highly rate their programs. They say they were treated well and the food was good. They say this is a great place to get clean and sober, although you do have to want it and follow the rules to be successful.

I was thinking about this place today for some reason. I spent 29 days here in 2015 or late 2014. Anyway I remember it was a very good program. The scenery is beautiful and many long walks around the facility. I was glad we could smoke as well. I remember going to the local Catholic Church nearby. Oh yes and the food was delicious. Females were there as well, but no peeking lol. Overall a good place if you wanna sober up and stay off the destructive path.

This place changed my life. It saved my life! If you or a loved one needs help, this is the place to go. The physical structure needs help but the mental health care is wonderful. As I said, it saved my life.

Other Forms of Payment

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

medically-assisted-detox iconMedically Assisted Detox
Drug and alcohol addiction often takes a heavy toll on one’s body. Over time, a physical dependence can develop, meaning the body physiologically needs the substance to function. Detox is the process of removing drugs and/or alcohol from the body, a process that can be lethal if mismanaged. Medical detox is done by licensed medical professionals who monitor vital signs and keep you safe, healthy, and as comfortable as possible as you go through detox and withdrawal.
intensive-outpatient iconIntensive Outpatient
Intensive Outpatient programs are for those who want or need a very structured treatment program but who also wish to live at home and continue with certain responsibilities (such as work or school). IOP substance abuse treatment programs vary in duration and intensity, and certain outpatient rehab centers will offer individualized treatment programs. The Intensive Outpatient Program gives patients the chance to participate in a structured treatment plan part-time while they transition back to home and work or other responsibilities.
aftercare iconAftercare Support
Completing a drug or alcohol rehab program shouldn't spell the end of substance abuse treatment. Aftercare involves making a sustainable plan for recovery, including ongoing support. This can include sober living arrangements like halfway houses, career counseling, and setting a patient up with community programs like Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) or Narcotics Anonymous (NA).

Programs

adult-program thumbnail image
Adult Program
Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.
young-adult-program thumbnail image
Young Adult Program
Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.

Clinical Services

People gain great insight into the patterns of behaviors and the triggers that underlie addiction when they participate in group therapy sessions. Your peers will discuss their experiences and strategies they use to manage addictive behaviors, offering you a greater opportunity to learn coping skills that work.

Men and women in Louisiana who seek individual therapy for drug and alcohol addiction treatment will receive therapy in a focused and supportive environment. Therapists customize interventions to your unique situation. This helps you understand the addictive process and develop coping strategies to help achieve and maintain sobriety.

The purpose of family therapy is to create a supportive and understanding dynamic between family members. Therapists assist families in identifying and changing negative, harmful patterns while improving open and honest communication. This provides a stable foundation for the recovery journey.

I just recently graduated and would like to express how awesome the staff and the service is, they had their hiccups on a few occasions but considering it's a woefully underfunded facility they still manage to get you the treatment you need if you want it<---- Thats the key here "If you want it". Thank you FTC
