I don’t know about the drs but their rehab program is the best they work on your mental health and get to the root causes of your addiction I was also in a lot of physical pain and I got to go to physical therapy and they were great also…

I haven't personally been a patient here, but I have had several friends complete the inpatient program for substance abuse, and they all seemed to like it. I know you can still smoke cigarettes, but no cell phones the first few weeks and limited if any contact at all with the outside world. It's coed, so that probably helps people when making a decision for an inpatient facility. Especially when we're talking 30+ days or more, detoxing off any and all things good, lol! The entrance to check in is tricky to find too, it's actually on the back side, or really, it might even be the side of the building under an awning. Hit the buzzer, and someone comes to help you get checked in.

So I went in for detox only. Did NOT want to be there at all. First 2 days were rough due to my addiction, then I started to feel better day by day. By day 4 I had this gut feeling I needed more than just the 7 day detox. I decided to complete the program. I did 25 days total and learned SOO much. From the everyday staff who help with all the small things to the administrators it was an amazing experience. The councilors are so easy to talk to, they challenge you to dig deeper into your feelings. The nurses are amazing. Every medication I needed or had questions about were either answered right then or within like 18 hours. The food.....oh man the food was awesome. First time in months I actually ate 3 square meals a day. If your struggling with alcohol or drug addiction I can't recommend Northpoint more than what I do. I'd love to say I can't wait to go back but let's maybe keep on the right path. But it's good to know they are always there if needed. Thank you Northpoint.

Recently went back to the va for my medical care and I’m very glad i did. Just had carpal tunnel surgery and everyone from the nurse who checked me in to the surgeons and the whole staff in the or was very professional. The OR nurses kept talking to me to make sure i remained calm even though i was, but it was my first time being awake for surgery. Doctor made sure i was comphy and was very professional. This was my first visit. I had interactions with one receptionist two technicians, and one medical doctor. All of them were highly professional in the performance of their duties, displaying great knowledge, and providing a very cordial, welcoming, and reassuring atmosphere. I have been here for about 10 years now and have seen the staff come and go. I will say that yes there are some things that need to be worked on here. But with that being said my family and I are in the process of moving, and chose to stay in the state near this area because of this clinic and the select few employees here who make this clinic what it is. First Susan the nurse has been a blessing, she is always so nice, compassionate, and helpfull by far one of the best nurses I have ever had the pleasure of working with and I feel that she is under appreciated and should be praised for her hard work and care to her patients. Second Leta, a newer counselor who has listened to my constant jabbering and never makes me feel judged and helps in any way she can to make me feel heard and assists in helping me stay on track. Next Daniel a very pleasent person and usually the first person you see for your treatment needs, he always tries to make you feel welcome and helps with whatever you need. And last the new pharmacist he had big shoes to fill when the last pharmacist left, and has been doing an amazing job since. I would say if your looking for an affordable treatment center with these people who I have mentioned caring for you. You should have a successfull transition into a sober life.

Center pointe is a great place that’s helping people recover and get their lives back , it’s up to the individual to take accountability and work to make their lives better . I genuinely could not have had a better experience with Charles Drew Health Center. I was able to get in to see Dr. Kate Scott from UNMC, and she was incredible. She was knowledgeable, kind, thorough, and, most importantly, took the time to actually educate me about my condition. I left my appointment understanding what was going on, what my options were, and why the recommended course of treatment made sense. That kind of care makes a huge difference. Charles Drew itself also really impressed me. Having a pharmacy literally right upstairs from the clinic is a game changer. Being able to leave an appointment and get your medication without having to make another trip across town removes one more barrier to getting the care you need. What stood out to me most, though, is how much Charles Drew truly feels like it exists for the community. Between medical care, pharmacy services, community outreach, education, and the other resources they provide, it feels about as close to a one stop shop for healthcare and support as you can get. There is a real effort being made to make quality healthcare accessible, understandable, and convenient for the people they serve. I would recommend Charles Drew to anyone. My experience from beginning to end was excellent, and I walked away feeling informed, cared for, and genuinely grateful that we have an organization like this serving our community. They aren’t just providing healthcare, they’re showing up for people, and that matters.
