The Stephen Center HERO pr | Treatments Programs Payment Options | I haven't personally been a patient here, but I have had several friends complete the inpatient program for substance abuse, and they all seemed to like it. I know you can still smoke cigarettes, but no cell phones the first few weeks and limited if any contact at all with the outside world. It's coed, so that probably helps people when making a decision for an inpatient facility. Especially when we're talking 30+ days or more, detoxing off any and all things good, lol! The entrance to check in is tricky to find too, it's actually on the back side, or really, it might even be the side of the building under an awning. Hit the buzzer, and someone comes to help you get checked in.

I wouldn't have been able to dig deeper to my mental health. But more of the story Nova has helped me turn my who life around.

Nova helped me turn my life around and I'm eternally grateful for the staff and the individuals who have and are taking the opportunity to heal themselves. It wasn't easy but it was worth every second, every minute, every hour, and every single day that I was offered a chance to live a different way. If anyone is interested in a new way to live, I personally suggest that you stop running and start fighting for the life you deserve and give NOVA a chance to help you clean up the mess of your life, then I guarantee you that life will become more worth living. Thank you NOVA for saving me.

Wow were do I start. I came to Nova September 19th 2024. I had been lost for so long and holding on to things that did nothing for me. At Nova I was able to find my true self to understand that even the way I held a conversation with my friends were wrong I was able to break codes and old habits that I lived by for so long. It was all about me what am I going to put on the table and work on what is Jamie going to take responsibility for. From the Ceo to the therapist, Quality Care Cordinater and case manager the staff are truly there for the family members and I say family members cause that's what Nova TC is it's a family help men and women work on life long trauma and rebuild them from the inside out. Nova TC truly saved my life and I will forever be grateful for the things that they do there. Don't get me wrong nothing came easy but what comes easy you don't hold on too. When you work hard for something its harder to let go. And I'll hold on to the tools that Nova gave me for life and pass them on as well. Apologize for the long review but feel like I still left so much unsaid. I will close with this. Thank you all at Nova TC for the dedication you guys have to healing broken people and building them back up stronger then they ever thought the could be and I know I'm speaking for more than just myself.. The purpose for my visit here was the food pantry.
My visit was a Tuesday. The pantry was open from 3 to 6:00 p.m. I arrived at 3:45 p.m. The pantry is available to anyone. You do not have to be Catholic to visit.
Upon arrival the entrance for the food pantry was clearly marked and easy to see from the parking lot. There was ample parking and I found a spot near the door.
In the reception area of the staff were friendly. As with most pantries I expected there to be a long wait, however after I checked in it was less than 2 minutes before my name was called.
I was giving a grocery cart and the person who called my name partnered with me through the shopping experience. This person will advise you of how many items you can take from every section of the pantry.
During the shopping experience I found the facility to be clean and well organized. They had a variety of goods available including meats, dairy, breads, toiletries and even cookies.
When I was done shopping they had me sign to confirm I was receiving the goods in my cart. I was able to use the shopping cart to take all of the groceries out to my car. After loading, I took the cart back and left it but the door as I was instructed.
The whole process took less than 30 mins and I left with a back seat full of groceries.

Really really loved this place! Was here twice a few years back for suicide and self harm attempts. The staff were so nice, the beds were honestly comfortable. The food was honestly so good! Staff let us have extra snack in the evening if we are 75% or more of our meals. Of course, I always ate 100%. I absolutely loved room time, rec time, tv time, snack time, etc. Wish I had a roommate but other then that it was great! We stayed in the unit all day but it was still so much fun, we made the best of it.

I came to broadlawns on New Year's Eve. Cause I was having really bad back pains and really bad cramps, during my pregnancy, I was only 6 weeks along, I went into the E. R they got me in right away, and they addressed the problem. Come to find out I had ectopic, pregnancy, which was really scary for me cause i've never been through surgery ever in my life and I went in for emergency surgery Right away and they were very compassionate with me.The whole time, from beginning to end and I absolutely loved all the staff that I dealt with. Even with the follow-up on my surgery they were very compassionate. And there for me the whole time definitely will be continuing to use them with my pregnancy journey. They are definitely not judgmental, because when I was going to another hospital, they made me feel like I was being judged. And that I should not be getting care at that other hospital after I gave birth to my second daughter they were very adamant about me getting on birth control but it's my decision religiously and personally i love that broadlawns was never judgmental, and never made me feel forced about anything.
