The services offered through Bluegrass Professional Counseling have been outstanding. The individuals that have helped my families journey the most have been Mrs. Shelby, Mrs. Kim, and Mrs. Jenny. Mental health is something that everyone deals with in their lives. The help that these three individuals have given have been nothing short of amazing. I would highly recommend Bluegrass Professional Counseling to anyone. The respect that is shared and shown allows me to feel comfortable speaking about any issue that we may have. Everyone needs someone to speak to that can help you look at life from a new perspective.

I felt very unsafe here, I left early because of the fights and people stuff always coming up missing. The clients never really get disciplined because if a client is told to leave it cost the commitment house to much money loosing a client. It seems they never have fixed the issue because I just read previous reviews and other clients are complaining about the same thing. Also when I came to get my stuff about 15 hours later some of my belongings were missing and they did not care.

Behavioral Health Group in Elizabethtown, Kentucky is a substance use treatment facility that strives to help you improve your health and live an independent life. They provide services such as medication assisted recovery and addiction counseling. The facility has certifications from the Joint Commission, the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabi | Treatments Programs Payment Options | There have been a few things I would try and change or do better but I’m
Not sure how much my advice or concerns would change the way things are done due to years of it being pretty much the same. The staff we have is great. I love our manager, Keisha and Julie and they do a great job of welcoming new people and making everyone who have been there still feel important as well. Day in and day out everyone has a great attitude and willingness to help. With such a high turnover rate If it were up to me I would make sure everyone got a raise and was based off of what they feel like they should deserve to be getting because whatever that number would be they have gone way over and above to make BHG feel like home even down to the decorations. It doesn’t makes sense to me in a day where no one has work ethic or desire to work and high turnover rates that you get good work who wants to be there and not compensate them for that. Everyone we have at this facility needs to be compensated for their time and effort and on making a choice to stay and put in the work and not constantly disown us and leave which as an addict consistency is something we need and when there’s turnover we feel it too. If we are truly cared about and this is a company that is truly trying to help in recovery we need to make sure we’re all getting the help we need and that also obviously includes the great team who makes it all possible and we don’t want to lose them!

I am about to turn 30 next month. I was here for a little over a year from November 2009 to January 2011. I still have night terrors of me being stuck in this place due to the mental abuse emotional i endured from staff. I was there to get help for severe depression, anxiety, & bipolar, I was un diagnosed autistic at the time and staff would be incredibly antagonistic in order to trigger a meltdown from me. They also had favorite residents that they would allow to bully me. My therapist wes woodcock told me mt family did not love or want me due to my mental health issues and also blamed me for sexual assaults i experienced. I cannot believe this place is still in operation. Yall need to be shut down

Samaritan Recovery Community is a nonprofit agency that provides treatment addiction recovery services for adults in Nashville, Tennessee. Their services are comprehensive, community driven, and affordable to support men and women with limited financial means. Available programs include residential treatment, outpatient programs, and aftercare supp | Treatments Programs Payment Options | I graduated from the old facility many years ago and everything Mrs.Christy and other staff taught me, goes with me daily and gives me the tools to stay sober 1 more day. I was homeless, hopeless, broken and not a penny to my name. Samaritan sponsored me without question and gave me the tools to have a fighting chance. I had some relapses along the way, but everything the leaders at Samaritan taught me,the 12 steps, to not give up, to get up and try agin still resonates in me today. I have 3 1/2 years sober now. If you want to change, really want change and are willing to do anything to make that happen, Samaritan is a great place to begin your new journey. The food is amazing as well. Mrs. Angelia and cooking staff are top notch. The spread daily is over the top and delicious. The opposite of what I ate on the streets, if I ate at all. I completed the 28 day program offered by Samaritan Recovery Jan 16, 2025.
It is my 3rd treatment experience since 2002.
I cannot say enough to express my gratitude for Samaritan but I am going try. First, they accepted me and others without insurance and at no cost to me. That’s a minor miracle in today’s world. I am 55 and Clients ages during my stay ranged in age 19-60. A good mix which created a unique environment. We had 12 step meetings each night on site and coffee each morning. All required to finish steps 1.2.3 before completing program.
The staff was excellent!! Low tolerance for unhealthy behaviors and held us accountable without being unnecessarily authoritative.
Then intake process was easy and admin staff was polite, knowledgeable and professional.
The Samaritan facility/building is new, clean and first class. I does not resemble any nonprofit inpatient treatment center nor operate like any I’ve ever seen.
I received Individual counseling, valuable and interesting small group sessions facilitated daily by a designated counselor who cared. In speaking with other clients over 28 days I do not hear any complaint about their counselors either. They all also facilitate large group sessions in afternoon and I can say they were excellent and also showed that they cared about us and our growth and recovery .
The food service/chef/cafeteria fed 35-43 clients 3 meals each day. All meals were very good, well balanced and of wide variety which was also a very pleasant surprise.
The groups that were facilitated in afternoons were well designed, specific to and for people in early recovery and tooics
Related to addiction and co occurring disorders. All facilitators were licensed professionals and 95% of staff is in recovery with long term success, decades of experience.
Samaritan also has daily , morning meditation for all clients who wish to engage.
It’s proven to help those with addictions and co occurring disorders so I was very happy they facilitate daily meditation. A few minutes each day changed each day for the positive for me .
The recovery, behavioral Technical support staff that managed clients needs was 24/7.
All of them were actively in recovery themselves so they understood us. I believe all tech, support staff had close to or more than 10 years sobriety.
They were patient, attentive and knowledgeable. Very Respectful and cared about the clients needs. That says a lot given fact that 40 people, all of whom were in Early recovery. Me included, Clients can be very hard to manage, and that’s an understatement. Support staff was truly the glue that held us together.
Samaritan also has full
Time clinical staff on site and Although I didn’t have a lot of clinical needs I will say that clinical director director, medical physician and all nursing staff were very attentive on a daily basis for clients who required medications, check ups or medical requests. Again excellent staff. Very qualified and steady.
Personally and without hesitation I can say that I had a great experience ant Samaritan.
I came in shattered and broken and I left 28 days later hopeful, renewed and optimistic. I highly recommend this facility and their 28 day program. Lastly, I was also surprised that they have transitional sober living on site and after care programs.
And Two things I really took advantage of in my free time was the music / sun room and small library.
Amazing and so surprising given that Samaritan is a non profit.
My experience and thier program is also clear and strong reflection of great donors and highly qualified executive staff.
If your curious how it happened - My story went like this….
I called, did assessment over the phone and 24 hours later I was picked up at a hotel near brick church and trinity lane .I was desperate and ready for a new life after havjng relapsed about 3 months earlier. Samaritan gave me every opportunity and more to build a strong foundation for long term sobriety. Truly grateful and cannot say enough about The programs and support I received at Samaritan Recovery.

Brentwood Springs Detox is a leading drug and alcohol detox center in the south eastern part of Nashville, Tennessee.. The goal is to help you wean off addiction related toxins from your body and get it ready for the main therapy. Their medically supervised detox program helps you safely and effectively manage the physical symptoms of withdrawal. | Treatments Programs Payment Options | I'd give out 10 stars if I could. I checked into to Brentwood Springs Detox without knowing how great it would be. I found them on the internet and pulled the trigger. They drove an hour to pick me up free of charge. Upon checking it they greeted me with an understanding of my situation. This helped put my mind at ease as I was already overwhelmed with stress of checking into a Detox center. They are very attentive of how you're feeling and immediately come up with a game plan for treatment. They are very professional in every aspect with your treatment and are open to you at all times if you are feeling a certain type of way, but at the same time every staff member is super laxed. The nurses are amazing and are available to you 24 hours a day. You can tell that they truly want to help you. I don't feel out of place here. The food is great, the people are great, and the way they have this place set up makes it feel like you are at home. They have tv's with all kinds of apps and cable. The whole place is clean and well kept. The rooms are clean. The meetings they set up are absolutely amazing and have helped me tremendously. They have a beautiful backyard with great views which is crucial to your feeling of well being (at least for me) Cameron is great as well. In the 3 days that I've been here he's given me tons of knowledge and advice and has made sure to check up on me and how I'm feeling. Again, the whole staff truly wants to help you. You can talk to them at all times about anything and they will all completely understand. They took me in at 8months pregnant broken, homeless and just ready to give up. Though its been a few yrs since going I have continued to stay clean. Chrysalis House Saved My Life! 🙌

I was admitted to The Chrysalis House in August 2019. I gave birth to my daughter while in treatment. I gained all of the skills and therapy I needed to sustain my recovery. I graduated in February 2020. I have full custody of all three of my children, I have a full time career as a recovery coach where I live now, I attend school full time as a Social Work major, and I am closing on my first home in 11 days. I was able to go from homeless to homeowner with the education I gained through this program. I'm able to be a mother, a student, and an employee rather than a hopeless addict that arrived at their door with two dollar general bags of clothes and hygiene products. I would recommend this program to any mother struggling with addiction. The chrysalis house saved my life and I am incredibly grateful for the healing I received from such a nurturing environment.
