This place is amazing!!! The people at this facility have been SO good to my friend she was a heavy drug user when they took her in. These people have been a true blessing! They have all worked so hard to help her, In my opinion, they have saved her life I am so thankful!!!

I had difficulty initially because I assumed I would be prescribed medication right away. I had to wait 3 months for a provider visit, so, in the meantime, I explained to my PCP and was able to get a few safe medications while waiting. I got into a therapist who has helped me beyond measure and is extremely good at her job. All of the staff I have encountered have been polite, nonjudgmental, professional, and helpful to my mental health journey. I have not had one single bad experience in the past year of going there 2-3 times a month (excluding the obvious difficult but necessary stuff) They have resources to help you in so many capacities and I encourage those who can be patient to give them the opportunity to be helpful.

Wonderful experience here. The staff here is amazing, super friendly and very accommodating. I would recommend anyone that needs a little bit of help due to mental health to come here. They have been a true blessing and have helped with this process and afterwards as well. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

I meet some of the sweetest staff and nurses here and then I met a few bitter ones. I was not expecting to come here since I live all the way in Tulsa. I was just thrown in a very unfortunate situation by a facility in Tulsa. I met some really cool people here . I had my ups and downs here, but they do their job. they are honest and some staff really are sweet. I came here with no clothes, confused and not even knowing I was going to be all the way here in OKC for a week at this facility. TJ helped me out with clothing and made sure that I was OK. He didn’t have to do that, but he did it out of the kindness of his heart. TJ will look out for you, Lee is pretty cool & A few other one. But TJ will look out for you!! I didn’t like that one guy Courtney/courdnee ( I believe he works night shift) & his buddy Ryan they were both kind of smart asses and very passive aggressive and they talk to people like they are stupid. Courtney also said something slick when he walked out of my room after trying to check me in on the tablet. He threatened to turn the lights on at night trying to be rude when he clearly saw my tracker on my leg. Ryan had an attitude problem and he was very condescending and kind of rude just like his buddy courdnee or however, you spell his name. Ryan overheard me talking about how I felt like the Courtney guy was rude to me. He came up to me and started defending him and told me I need to stop letting little stuff get to me. I’m almost 30 years old. That is so obvious I didn’t need his advice. He invalidated my experience . That one black lady Taleisha/tyeesha whatever her name is, she wears glasses and has locs invalidated all of my complaints and uncomfortability as well when I was trying to express to her the distress I was in. She just gave really nonchalant with a weird attitude . Some of them are in the wrong field. Ori was also really strange and had a attitude problem. She woke me up at 10 PM to ask if I had a bowel movement after I had just barely fell asleep and I was barely sleeping in there. I feel like that was unnecessary . The people in the very front messed up on my name 10 times and they kept waking me up in the middle of the night to ask me my name/birthday almost every other night. That one activity coordinator I forgot her name, but she pissed me off as well and made me seem like I was a problem in group. I will never come back here, but only a few people made this experience positive for me. I love Beverly though. She was like my second mom. I will never be coming back here, but I do appreciate the help because I did need it at the time even if it was forced and manipulated.

Hands down the best VA I’ve ever been to. Top Reasons: Service, Speed of Availability, Quality Care and Follow Up. My opinion is based upon other states Such as Central Texas and Southern California locations. Here in Oklahoma I was able to accomplish more as a Traveling Veteran in 1 month than I could ever have imagined in comparison to the other two states. When they say they look after their veterans they stand behind their words. I wasn’t pushed to the sidelines and told to wait weeks or months for the next available appointment. So to all of the staff doctors, PA’s, Nurses and volunteers you have my 🫡.

I truly cannot say enough positive things about my therapist. Kristal is absolutely incredible at what she does, and I genuinely believe she is one of the best in her profession. From the very beginning, she has made me feel heard, understood, and supported without ever making me feel judged. What makes her exceptional is how much she truly cares. She doesn’t just listen! She helps me understand myself, challenges me when I need it, and gives me the tools and perspective to work through some of the most difficult situations in my life. She has an amazing ability to create a space where I feel comfortable being completely honest, even when the things I'm talking about aren't easy. I am incredibly grateful for the patience, compassion, professionalism, and dedication she has shown me. The impact she has made on my life is difficult to put into words, and I appreciate her more than she probably realizes. I went to this facility 2 times as a teenager. The last time I was there I stayed for 3 months. This place became like my home and it provided me structure and a community to get me ready for the real world. I had so many amazing staff that impacted me. When I’m having a really bad time in life I can think back on skills and just good advice people here gave me. Hello, my name is Jay/James Parks, I was a patient at this mental health facility 2 times, one for 4 months, and one for 3 weeks. The entire time I was there I was treated greatly, and was allowed to do most things the other reviews are saying they couldn’t. The staff were especially nice, and would only want the best for you. The food was also great, having what tasted like a 5- star meal served every day, and me having a family who has experience with most mental facility’s in Oklahoma, this one surpasses the rest. And people forget that if they/their kid does not find something fair, the grievance forms ARE something they look at. Overall, deserves a 5 star review.

I went here in January-Febuary, they really helped me talk through some of my toughest times, now I'm able to express my feelings and talk to my parents better. I have truly improved and I miss the staff because they were very nice, and really supportive. I miss the people I met and I hope they're doing well, I loved my therapist and she really helped me be able to express myself and feel better. I still have tough times but with the time I spent there, I've learned good skills and I'm able to work through them without falling back into the terrible places I've been before. I truly appreciate everything they did for me and I highly recommend them.

Thanks to this place I’ve been sober for almost 5 years straight! I got my dream job working as a veterinarian assistant and have a wonderful relationship with all my kids. I just want to say Justin’s light house changed my life and everything I was going threw. I was addicted to meth and got into some trouble and found Justin’s light house. The owners Myles and Tina Lewis are the sweetest people and I owe so much to them helping me getting me off drugs. God was there for me to. I prayed when I first got there for him to help me with all of the mess I was in. I meet alot of sweet girls there and are still very good friends with one of them. We had some good times there. This place made recovery fun. If I ever had to go back I would pick this place. I don’t see that happening cause they did such a good job. My husband and I began attending (SOTS) “Southern Oklahoma Treatment.” However, they were shut down after about four years of treatment. Subsequently, we switched to RightWay Medical, and they have been incredibly helpful. There have been a few instances where they made mistakes. For instance, Carla, one of our former nurses, miscalculated my dose. At that time, I was taking 140 mg, but she gave me only about 100 mg. I usually can tell by the amount in the bottle and how long I’ve been on that dosage. I would check my bottles after receiving them, and they would be fuller than when Carla dosed me. So, I didn’t think to check my take-home doses at the time because they usually paid close attention. However, for some reason, she wasn’t paying attention that day. When I got home, I noticed that my bottle was almost empty. It wasn’t full like it should have been. When I contacted them, they informed me that it was already too late because I had already left the facility. I realized that I should have checked my dose before leaving. That was the first time my medication was messed up, and it’s only happened once since then. The only other issue I’ve had with them was a failed urine test. I had to undergo a drug screen, and it indicated that I had narcotics in my system when I knew I didn’t. I asked them to resend the test and investigate further because I was innocent and knew I hadn’t taken anything besides my Methadone. However, I was still in trouble and had to visit them daily for about three or three and a half weeks.
