I've only been using the v a system for about three years.I must say i've been very pleased. I would say, I have had a 95% success rate with everybody. I've dealt with like anything in life. You're going to have a few bad examples. But you cannot judge the whole system. Based on the few i can drive 55 minutes to an hour to that facility. Be in and be seen by the time I even get checked in at a regular emergency room. And when you do get care, I find it to be phenomenal.

As someone who does better with more human level interactions between myself and my care team this place has been awesome. I've had two case managers and two therapists here, both of the first moved to different fields, and med management for almost four years through MBHO. I've never done well with that button up all business approach alot of agencies use, so if that's what you're looking for look elsewhere. If you want providers that try to really get to know YOU and not just treat you like client #123, then this agency will be exactly what you're looking for. They put you center in your care and don't handhold through everything so you have to actually try and participate in your own care. My mental, physical and social health have improved by leaps and bounds because I had to say what my goals are not be told what goals are "best". If you are looking to heal and not just maintain by going through the motions then MBHO has what you need.

Sweetser is amazing!! I would highly recommend it. In the past I’ve used all that they had to offer. Now I’ve graduated to having just a case worker, Vanessa. She is so great and helps me so much. The care and support I receive from Sweetser has been consistently excellent.
I am an adult with autism and other conditions that can make it difficult to function. I have been in and out of mental health facilities across New England and Ontario. Sweetser is by far my favourite team I've worked with.
Sweetser is home to a variety of professionals of different specialties and functions. This allows a very personalized approach for each client's needs, as well as collaboration between departments on how to best support the client.
