I’m here to give a necessary review. If I could give this practice, infinite stars, I would. I highly recommend NECHM to anybody who is looking for a professional and reliable and consistent experience. I have been with this practice since 2019. The staff has been amazing to me. I’m never left waiting on a response. I have never experienced anything negative. I am a patient of Kristie and she has been available for me on short notice as well as has been a wonderful and caring resource for me.

The New England Center for Healthy Minds and their Medical Director and Therapists have been exemplary in their care and their willingness to let the patient guide their therapeutic trajectory within healthy goals. They have saved my life over the past 3 years. In addition, they provide cutting-edge therapies within the constraints of regulatory and/or FDA requirements. They are faced with so many serious challenges with clients on every biopsychosocial level and on a daily basis. We are lucky to have them here and on a local level. Kudos to NECHM! Thank you!

What a life changing experience! I have too many good things to say to list them all here. The buildings and the grounds are new and well maintained. The staff are all wonderful and go above and beyond for every client. I got to see first hand how hard everyone, frome the cleaning staff on up to the directors how hard they work for us and how much they care. The clinical staff are so knowledgeable and caring. I felt like everyone there was working on all my issues with such a drive and the highest level of competency. The recovery specialists do a food job of fostering a positive and safe group culture. I was especially impressed with Katie, who's commitment to the clients was demonstrated daily by her caring, upbeat, positive nature and willingness to go above and beyond for every client, all day, everyday. A big thank you to Katie and to Rose, Erin, Nikki and all the others who helped me change my life so drastically for the better in such a short 28 days. I came into this program as an older woman, scared and unsure of what to expect. This was my very first time in treatment, and after coming from an inpatient program where I honestly felt like I was treated more like an animal than a person, I didn’t know what I was walking into. From the first day, the staff and clients made me feel welcome and safe. I wasn’t seen as just a diagnosis here, I was seen as a human being. That meant everything to me. I was at a near breaking point with my mental health when I found Meta for a mental health IOP program. I've always been hesitant about seeking care with outpatient programs due to seeing friends who said the care made them feel worse. My psychiatric NP was worried because most facilities near me had waitlists of up to a month. I was drowning. Desperate, I reached out to one of their facilities who directed me to Meta, who took my insurance. When they say they can see if your insurance covers the care within an hour, they absolutely mean it. When beginning the intake process the staff was nothing but encouraging. By the end of the day, I already had the intake process started.
Beginning the program was fast as I was able to start immediately. Their NP team was so helpful with helping me file for PFML. You can attend in person or join on Zoom. This was such a relief as Meta is an hour and a half away from me. Meta provides the most accessible mental health program I have seen.
I also can't say enough about the care team. There's a blend of advice from people who want to see you grow. Groups are the best with Kayla's sharp insight and Liz's gentle guidance. Not only am I able to connect with my therapists, but others who are also seeking support. I'll be taking friendships with me when my time with Meta comes to a close. If you are on the fence about reaching out for professional support, come to Meta. It truly has been a wonderful experience.

I've struggled with my mental health for most of my life and always kept afloat one way or another, but Meta was the biggest turning point for me. I've felt so supported everyday while given an environment I felt safe in to heal. They've given me knowledge and coping skills that I will carry with me throughout my life. I'm very grateful to the Meta team and everyone I've met through them. For the first time since I was a kid I feel like I'm living and not just holding on.

Title: Exceptional Care and Support During Challenging Times
I recently had the privilege of experiencing the exemplary service provided by Spectrum Medical during a particularly challenging period of illness. From the moment I initiated contact, their intake process demonstrated efficiency and compassion, alleviating much of the stress associated with seeking medical assistance while unwell.
In particular, Brooke, a member of their team, exhibited an exceptional level of professionalism, attentiveness, and support throughout our interactions. Her dedication to ensuring my needs were met was evident, as she promptly scheduled appointments and provided invaluable assistance with navigating MA insurance, easing the burden of administrative tasks during a time of vulnerability.
For individuals grappling with dependency issues, I wholeheartedly recommend Spectrum and their outstanding team.
Their commitment to excellence in care, coupled with a compassionate approach, undoubtedly makes them a beacon of hope for those in need of support and guidance during challenging times.

The place saved my life and gave me the opportunity to stop and take 6 months and do what I had to live a new way. I fell down a few times after leaving but Nov 8 will be 6 years clean and I owe alot to the Channing House and my Channing Brothers.

Channing House, which is a Halfway House now operated by Advocates, is probably the most successful men's substance abuse house in Worcester County and probably one of the 5 best or most successful programs in Massachusetts. It is a fully accredited 6 month substance abuse residential program. However, they let me stay for 8 1/2 months because the staff agreed with me that I wasn't ready yet. I've been to well over 25 halfway houses and at least 15 different sober houses...and Channing House is by far the best and most successful program in Worcester County.

Clean, and Safe Facility
This place is very clean and well taken care of. You can really tell they prioritize safety and comfort for everyone there. There are always plenty of staff around, which helps things run smoothly and gives a sense of security. I also love that they have spaces for group activities, a gym area, and even outdoor spots where people can relax and get some fresh air. It feels like a place that truly cares about both mental and physical wellbeing.

Brookline, MA | Arbour HRI Hospital, located in Brookline, Massachusetts, provides mental health and drug rehab treatment. Their comprehensive services are age-specific, gender-specific, and LGBTQ friendly. HRI Hospital in Brookline, Massachusetts, offers mental health and addiction programs. There are women’s only programs, young adult treatment, LGBTQ programm | Treatments Programs Payment Options | This past summer I attended HRI's Women's Ascend program, and my experience was nothing short of being such an incredibly healing environment that instilled a newfound sense of hope at a time when I felt the complete opposite.
Vivian, my assigned Nurse Practitioner, played such an instrumental role in my healing journey, and I am so incredibly grateful to have had the opportunity to have her as my Nurse Practitioner. She truly raised the bar of my expectations in terms of medication management as well as the clinical aspects of my mental health treatment. Being in her care allowed me to be a witness to a level of professionalism, advocacy, and empathy towards mine (and other patient’s) mental health recovery in ways that I hadn’t experienced with any NP/PHMP I’ve worked with before.
In addition, HRI's Ascend Program simply wouldn't be the healing space it is for women of color without the continuous arduous efforts of Alexandria as well!! On a daily basis, Vivian and Alex brought forth a level of representation that is so essential in successfully fostering a safe and encouraging environment for all the women of color at Ascend. I personally always felt so seen, so heard, and so cared for. I truly believe the progress I’ve made this summer serves as a testament to all of the hard Vivian, Alex (and the wonderful summer interns) had put in, day in and day out this summer. I am incredibly grateful, and for anyone - especially women of color - are looking for a healing space to truly dedicate healing towards your mental health- you've found the right place!!

I've been in psychiatric hospitals in Massachusetts, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Delaware. Hands down pound for pound MARY the CEO cares more about people with Mental Illness then anyone I have ever met. All the staff are respectful, it's a great place to recover.

The Ascend program was a wonderful, massively helpful space to receive support and care. I found community with people who have lived through and could validate some of my own experiences, and we learned from each other every day in ways that I never anticipated. We built concrete skills to help us manage our mental health needs, but we also met human beings who were cheering s on every step of our journey. I've very highly recommend this program to femmes of color who need support. You won't find a better group of people to guide you back to what it means to stand on your own two feet in this very complicated, very painful world.
This program would not exist without the massively incredible leadership of Alexandria. She is the most incredible clinician I have every encountered. She cares about the Ascend program and making sure that it is a space for for participants to learn skills, build community, and grow. She's an empathetic clinician both for the clients on her individual roster and the large group sessions as a whole. She knows the DBT skills backwards, forwards, upside down, with eyes closed, and with her hands tied behind her back. She has the ability to explain these skills in ways that are accessible for all types of learners and make sure that the cohort finds concrete ways to translate the skills into their personal life experiences. She's also able to do all of this while being an absolute tech wizard on the computer to make sure that community guidelines are followed on zoom, slides are shared, and validate the thoughts of feelings that participants share with the group all at the same time. There's no one else like Alexandria. She is the reason the Ascend program exists. And HRI is EXTREMELY lucky to have her on their staff. But more than that, the Ascend program participants have the privilege of knowing her.
Vivian is an incredible nurse practitioner who helps run the program. She maintains the culture of firm but empathetic care for the Ascend participants. She listens to everyone's daily challenges in addition to the chronic trauma experienced by her patients. When people need someone to listen to them 1-1 or check in about some of the group content they're learning and struggling with, her door is always open for a chat during breaks or over lunch. She's a wiz when it comes to thinking of medications at the drop of a hat that may help treat certain symptoms or support a patients' current medication regiment. And if a prescription isn't working, she's quick to think of other medications that can help. She cares so much about the wellbeing of everyone who walks in her office, and they are better off for it.

Great, great place for young men to get back on there feet and a fresh start! The whole program is amazing, staff, facility, especially the food with their own chef cooking! Teachers are exceptional and have experience with special education services. I had been involved with several other facilities before our family got to Center point for young men and was very unhappy with what we went thru, but when we got here this place was 100 percent different and I just don't have enough time for all the good things I can say and the changes it has made in my child's life.

Centerpoint changed our lives for the better! Our families experience at Centerpoint was nothing but positive. We were referred to Centerpoint by the Department of Mental Health after 18 ART/CBAT admissions. I have to admit at first I was hesitant as the program is long term and, no one wants their child away from home for that long. After much deliberation and thought we agreed to the admission. It’s not easy to agree to this level of care, often times heart breaking but, we knew our son was suffering and no other treatment seemed to be effective for longer than a few months. It’s hard work and you are asked to participate in weekly family therapy where you have to be open and honest and tackle all of the issue which lead to this level of care. My son, my husband and I committed ourselves to this and boy did it work. It wasn’t easy, it was emotionally challenging and having to drag up things from the past was less than desirable. We learned how to effectively communicate with each other which was the foundation of our son getting better. If you and your child embrace the program it works!
The staff was always very accommodating, kind, caring and well trained. You can tell that they are experts in their field. Each child is different and they made it their mission to learn our sons behaviors and personality so they could make him feel comfortable, safe and that he could trust them.
Since discharge our son has thrived socially, emotionally and academically. He has learned to use the skills that were taught at Centerpoint which has effectively ended the vicious cycle of short term hospitalization. When considering an IRTP I would strongly recommend Centerpoint!!
