About Memphis Psychiatric

Memphis Psychiatric in Germantown, Tennessee, provides you with mental health treatment and medication management to address addiction and co-occurring mental health issues through therapy, medication and life skill building.

They focus on providing you with individualized assessments and continued monitoring during your treatment to ensure you are improving with therapy and medication.

Initial Evaluation Helps Develop a Personalized Treatment Plan

When you first arrive at Memphis Psychiatric, they assess your treatment needs and work with you to develop an individualized plan that helps you meet your wellness goals. They also provide you with a diagnosis of mental health conditions and determine whether medication may be of benefit to you.

Outpatient MAT Therapy for Opioid Addiction

For substance use disorder, they offer outpatient medication assisted treatment to help you manage and eliminate withdrawal symptoms from opioids. I find it good to know that they also recognize that attempting to quit or withdrawal from opioids has a low success rate and that clients have a much higher rate of success when assisted with medication.

Injection Treatment for Weight Loss

In addition, if you are having a hard time losing weight naturally, I love that they offer injection treatments that will help you achieve success. They require regular check-ins to ensure you are meeting your goals and on your way to wellness.

I can honestly say this Dr is a complete lunatic and absolutely is good at one thing only abusing his medical license and should be completely stripped away for not only false statements that he puts down on gov medical records if anyone has Common sense this person needs some sort or mental treatment for his own delusional and falsified lies even on court cases. From a former health professional who was there on the front lines during the covid pandemic wile everyone else was playing the hiding game when it comes down to true medical care and actually meeting face to face appointments the tele health idea is pointless since it can and will not save a life like we do hands on in the medical professionals

Awesome Doctor. I have been going to him for over 3 years now. I drive all the way from Cleveland Ms to my appointments with Dr White. If Dr White wasn’t good at his job, I wouldn’t be driving 2.5 hours to see him. I believe he is very knowledgeable about the situation I’m in and is able to help me through some tuff times through these couple of years. So with that I would recommend him to anyone that ask for a great psychiatrist.

Other Forms of Payment

Per session payment lets you pay for each treatment at the time of service. You may also pay for a certain number of sessions up front and then pay for more if needed. This format allows you to tailor the financial investment to your specific needs and avoid having a large lump sum payment due at the end of the treatment program.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

Outpatient rehabs enable clients to receive care without leaving their home, workplace, and community. Clients typically receive intensive addiction counseling, including individual, group, and family therapy. Many programs promote clients' long-term sobriety through recovery-focused life skills training and ancillary services, such as peer coaching. Medication assisted treatment (MAT), including medication induction and maintenance, are common in outpatient care. Most facilities offer multiple levels of care to accommodate clients' evolving needs, including intensive outpatient (IOP) and standard outpatient programming.

Treatments

Substance abuse treatment in Tennessee is available in addiction treatment centers, where experienced addiction professionals can treat both substance use disorders. Typically, clinicians use a range of evidence-based therapies such as a biopsychosocial assessment, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and motivational interviewing to get a complete picture of your mental health, support systems, and motivation to change. Through an individualized treatment plan, you'll receive the support you need to achieve long-term sobriety through new skills and relapse prevention strategies.

Clinical Services

Men and women in Tennessee undergoing one on one individual therapy sessions focus on understanding their unique needs and challenges. They do this under the guidance of an experienced therapist who can help you identify and address addiction triggers as well as create personalized relapse prevention plans. This offers you a customized path to a successful recovery journey.
