I was treated with kindness & respect for the most part. The staff is mostly recovering addicts, so not only do they talk the talk, they walk the walk :) 5 stars all the way! Kudos to Butch, Larry, and anyone that still wants to help others with 30 plus years clean. It helps that you are 300 miles from NoWhere in the middle of a cornfield ;) LLL

I see a lot of bad reviews on here and wanted to offer up my positive experience to hopefully encourage you to use this Richmond office. My daughter has been seeing Ashley S. for about a year now. We have nothing but great things to say about her. She has knocked down her walls and allowed her space to feel comfortable. Not only does she listen to what my daughter has to say, she listens to what we have to say as well. I wish everyone could schedule their children with her- but don't because we found her first! The mind is subjective and so is therapy, i believe if you have a bad experience you simply try somewhere else which may practice a different field of psychology that could help more. Therapist are a guide like a GPS, but I feel like too many people expect them to take the wheel and just fix their problems for them. I had a great experience and have been able to get myself not only in college but running again and I would feel comfortable going back if need be. Therapist were great and that’s all that matters to me!

Not only have they helped me with recovery but they became part of my recovery family. Bill is straight forward with what he expects and also understands real life issues but will not be played as he knows the in and outs of how qbh is ran and what people are up to. Beth is definitely their to help she came from beimg in the ER as a nurse and now coming to qbh to help the very people she seen impacted by drugs and will help anyway she can. Glenn always has positive and straightforward answers or questions to what you might be dealing with. Ron is the group counselor and he will let you get whatever is bothering you or even daily life issues out into the group for discussion. Just checking in on you guys. Thank You for all your help and the tools to stay clean. I left about four years ago and was at 120 . After about 45 days of going thru withdrawals I finally gave in to Suboxone. My next step is the shot. Hi Bill and glad to see you're still here. TY for always being cool and I'll never forget you. I think I was 518 and can only imagine what number you're on today!!
Addicts do recover when they choose to!!!! Ty QBH for the tools to stay clean by making me go to group and therapy 🙌. Which made me start going to NA meetings. I believe in early recovery you gotta do 90/90. 90 meetings in 90 days to start change 😉😎. Remember to give yourself a break and get into NA to start working the steps of NA. The books how and why were my best tools. You must have a sponsor to work the steps. You can't do the steps alone because how do you know if you're doing them right 👍 and you'll have a friend forever.

The people here saved my life. I have nothing bad to say...sure the lines get backed up, that's ANY MAT clinic(and that's once in awhile in tough situations...this is my 4th clinic, and the best yet. I waited 1-2hrs EVERY day at my 1st 2 clinics). The front staff do their best with all they deal with. From seeing both perspectives, they do their best. Counselors are outstanding!

Been here since '19 and I will most likely be a lifer.This place's functionality can vary from day to day, which isn't ideal for people trying to stabilize. That said, the NPs (Doctors everyone calls them) are 11/10. Reene (sorry about spelling) andTonya are absolute angels, doing Gods work. Swriously they couldn't be better. The front desk ladies are good too, always busy. And thank god for the nurses too.They have been reliable lately and that is nice. Overall this place has some issues but don't throw away the bushell for one bad apple. Bonnie is also amazing and although I've only had a few interactions with her, each one was more pleasant than the last. Great lady.

Never been in there more than an hour. If that ! Most appointments are very fast & efficient. The girls at the front desk put up with a lot from rude phone calls to rude (Veterans ) patients.
In & out . Great service Everytime I've been there. And I prefer NOT to be thanked for my service !

Dr. Sam may be a very busy guy but he is very intelligent and caring, it takes time to find the right combination of meds and he knows what he is doing. Also if you have things to talk about write them down and he will talk to you. I think he’s a good psychiatrist, and I would recommend this place.

Best rehab facility I have had out of more than 15 programs. They truely care and help with mental and chemical dependence. They changed mine and many friends lived for the best.

Went there for a trunk or treat event. Everyone was nice and pleasant The kids enjoyed themselves. Also if they had a wonderful presentation about the use of narcan and was given free narcan away to help the community. I love that they were making a positive impact in the community while also giving to the children.

They do tend to put a device on your ankle that tracks you. And have boring group therapy. But you do get three great nutritious meals, every day. Basic respect, andd a personalized treatment plan. And Netflix.

I have been see Elizabeth virtually on and off for months now. She is extremely professional and kind and is well educated in mental health. I also see Dr. Haque for medication and he is the same. He puts your health first when prescribing medication and stays on top of dosing when you are struggling. The front desk is always kind on the phone and with billing as well.

Dr. Murthy is the best Dr I have had. He's professional and also very personable. He's caring and funny and is a multi specialization doing both family medicine and behavior and addiction therapy.
I have been seeing him as my primary for years now. Unfortunately, the office portion of the practice often struggles with organization and not answering phone calls. I have attempted several phone calls across multiple days, and often, nobody picks up. Voice mails are not returned, and sometimes the inbox is full.
Overall, I would recommend wellhealth if you want a deeper clinical experience. Just know Dr. murthy usually runs behind because of the more complex cases that come into his office.

I normally wouldn't have written a review but it was comical to read some of the reviews here and felt like I should leave a comment as well. If you spend any amount of time attending group or individual therapy at Clinton Counseling Center, you will quickly find out that this place seems to be the only and last hope for people that have hit rock bottom in life, whether it is with chronic unemployment, broken relationships, abandonment from loved ones, homelessness relying on the generosity of Macomb County funding and the staff here will go above and beyond to act like the middle person to get you the resources you need, advocate for you, communicate with probation officers or psychiatrists or aiming to connect you with a primary care physician or anything to help you through your journey to recovery. If the client makes an effort, you will find good support from the team at Clinton Counseling Center which is honestly a very bare bones operation but a very critical and needed service that isn't drawing in money like most other larger organizations are. Take advantage of this gem if you need it and don't be swayed by those that have had "bad" experiences that often was not caused nor exacerbated by anyone at the counseling center.

Truly, the best kept secret of Macomb County! I am amazed at the level of kindness and care offered by every single person you'd interact with here. They are genuinely empathetic and will figure out any way possible to support you in receiving the funding you need for housing, transportation, medical and psychiatric care that the government already has allocated. Clinton Counseling is under the banner of Comprehensive Youth Services that supports children, teenagers, young adults and older in providing counseling, therapy and life skills in life to thrive and overcome every challenge that they've experienced in the past!

I've read past reviews and it's disheartening to hear given my time while short was beneficial. Yes the men's bathroom was atrocious but I dare you to make me one rehab facility that accepts medicaid insurance where the men's bathroom doesn't look bad. Sacred Heart for example is supposed to be the top tier for bottom insurance and the men there never flush leave their stuff all over it's like that especially in detox grown men don't know how to use proper hygene. But the staff went I was there a couple months ago were amazing friendly and funny especially Diamond she had me laughing a lot. The food is pretty good so I don't know what the one guy was complaining about mold. I've been to some of the best and worst rehabs and I can tell you it's what you put into it. If you are trouble you are gonna attract trouble or if you think you can just come in and coast and not participate then you won't get anything out of it. I had a bad relapse recently and unfortunately have to go back but I'm glad I'm going back to a place that has love and cares. Only negative thing I can say is what most would consider great is that they allow you to bring your personal cellphones in. Its great to listen to music and text family to passed the time but there is too much temptation to call or text the wrong people who could convince you to reconsider wanting to stay. Other than that I give this place a 5 and they do a lot with not having a lot of money

The detox facility takes people off the street 24/7, that’s an amazing thing. The detox nurses deal with a lot and do it with kindness, compassion, and composure. I am incredibly grateful for the rest they provided me that I was in desperate need of. If you are a person with the capacity to donate to a facility, this is the one. They are operating with limited resources.

I've had 10+ inpatient stays. Absolutely hate that. I agreed to try outpatient with New Oakland. I had the greatest experience. Great staff. Psychiatrist is great, very personable. Would recommend this to anyone struggling.

The people here saved my life. I have nothing bad to say...sure the lines get backed up, that's ANY MAT clinic(and that's once in awhile in tough situations...this is my 4th clinic, and the best yet. I waited 1-2hrs EVERY day at my 1st 2 clinics). The front staff do their best with all they deal with. From seeing both perspectives, they do their best. Counselors are outstanding!

Been here since '19 and I will most likely be a lifer.This place's functionality can vary from day to day, which isn't ideal for people trying to stabilize. That said, the NPs (Doctors everyone calls them) are 11/10. Reene (sorry about spelling) andTonya are absolute angels, doing Gods work. Swriously they couldn't be better. The front desk ladies are good too, always busy. And thank god for the nurses too.They have been reliable lately and that is nice. Overall this place has some issues but don't throw away the bushell for one bad apple. Bonnie is also amazing and although I've only had a few interactions with her, each one was more pleasant than the last. Great lady.

I been here for a couple years now. My therapist is Amanda Stephenson and I absolutely recommend her. She has lifted so much weight off me mentally and physically... I DO NOT recommend the psychiatrists unfortunately if you miss an appt for a family death they will not let you see them for 6 months! Amanda is my safe place and I wouldn't be here today if it wasn't for her!!

The staff was excellent! The front desk kind and understanding each time I called to see if they had received the script yet from my primary doctor? It took 6 weeks to get, Embarrassing for me, but staff was understanding and re faxed to my primary doctor.
The testing hard for me, but my tester reassured me, you are doing great and this is why you are here to find you areas of difficulty after 2 auto accidents. Neither accident was my fault… I have struggled to communicate how difficult comprehending, focusing, attention and hearing has been.
