I was treated with kindness & respect for the most part. The staff is mostly recovering addicts, so not only do they talk the talk, they walk the walk :) 5 stars all the way! The mind is subjective and so is therapy, i believe if you have a bad experience you simply try somewhere else which may practice a different field of psychology that could help more. Therapist are a guide like a GPS, but I feel like too many people expect them to take the wheel and just fix their problems for them. I had a great experience and have been able to get myself not only in college but running again and I would feel comfortable going back if need be. Therapist were great and that’s all that matters to me!

Thank you BioMed for your dedication.
This is my truth.
I am in recovery and I also completely stopped drinking alcohol 2 1/2 months ago. I am a hard working tax paying contributing member of society. I am at the same time healing repercussions of physical, emotional and verbal abuse, gaslighting and neglect. Do not misunderstand me it goes against my principles to mess with another person’s job. However, BioMed has a counselor that has no business counseling women in any capacity. I understand that abused women, including myself, require a bit more reassurance and support not further abuse. Dennis H. has stated to me more than once, “ignorant independent American women .” This is what he really thinks of women. He is a fraud, an abuser and a thief.

Good riddance to him.

Dr. Murthy is the best Dr I have had. He's professional and also very personable. He's caring and funny and is a multi specialization doing both family medicine and behavior and addiction therapy.
I have been seeing him as my primary for years now. Unfortunately, the office portion of the practice often struggles with organization and not answering phone calls. I have attempted several phone calls across multiple days, and often, nobody picks up. Voice mails are not returned, and sometimes the inbox is full.
Overall, I would recommend wellhealth if you want a deeper clinical experience. Just know Dr. murthy usually runs behind because of the more complex cases that come into his office.

Mount Clemens, Michigan | Clinton Counseling Center provides substance abuse and mental health treatment for adults. You’ll find them out in Clemens, Michigan. They offer intensive outpatient (IOP) and general outpatient services (OP). This way, you’ll get flexibility if you want to live at home and continue working or attending school while getting treatment. An asses | Treatments Programs Payment Options | I normally wouldn't have written a review but it was comical to read some of the reviews here and felt like I should leave a comment as well. If you spend any amount of time attending group or individual therapy at Clinton Counseling Center, you will quickly find out that this place seems to be the only and last hope for people that have hit rock bottom in life, whether it is with chronic unemployment, broken relationships, abandonment from loved ones, homelessness relying on the generosity of Macomb County funding and the staff here will go above and beyond to act like the middle person to get you the resources you need, advocate for you, communicate with probation officers or psychiatrists or aiming to connect you with a primary care physician or anything to help you through your journey to recovery. If the client makes an effort, you will find good support from the team at Clinton Counseling Center which is honestly a very bare bones operation but a very critical and needed service that isn't drawing in money like most other larger organizations are. Take advantage of this gem if you need it and don't be swayed by those that have had "bad" experiences that often was not caused nor exacerbated by anyone at the counseling center.

I've read past reviews and it's disheartening to hear given my time while short was beneficial. Yes the men's bathroom was atrocious but I dare you to make me one rehab facility that accepts medicaid insurance where the men's bathroom doesn't look bad. Sacred Heart for example is supposed to be the top tier for bottom insurance and the men there never flush leave their stuff all over it's like that especially in detox grown men don't know how to use proper hygene. But the staff went I was there a couple months ago were amazing friendly and funny especially Diamond she had me laughing a lot. The food is pretty good so I don't know what the one guy was complaining about mold. I've been to some of the best and worst rehabs and I can tell you it's what you put into it. If you are trouble you are gonna attract trouble or if you think you can just come in and coast and not participate then you won't get anything out of it. I had a bad relapse recently and unfortunately have to go back but I'm glad I'm going back to a place that has love and cares. Only negative thing I can say is what most would consider great is that they allow you to bring your personal cellphones in. Its great to listen to music and text family to passed the time but there is too much temptation to call or text the wrong people who could convince you to reconsider wanting to stay. Other than that I give this place a 5 and they do a lot with not having a lot of money

The detox facility takes people off the street 24/7, that’s an amazing thing. The detox nurses deal with a lot and do it with kindness, compassion, and composure. To be honest I’m not sure why everyone hates this place, usually when you’re going to a place like this, medication and therapy will be in the question, so will other forms of help, you’re here to get mentally well, at least that’s what I came here for, I’ve been with CMH since I was 9 years old. Now 20! They have lots to offer in all honesty, I’ve been diagnosed with Consistent Depression, PTSD, ED, social anxiety, Bipolar disorder and borderline personality disorder, and it’s definitely not easy to live with, some people struggle with finding the right medication for them, and that’s been me since I was 9 years old.
I’ve been on multiple medications and to no prevail unfortunately, but that isn’t the prescribers fault, some medication just generally doesn’t work for others like they do for some, we’re all different and I’m still on that journey with finding what works best with my new prescriber here, she mentioned to me that they can do blood tests here to find out what medication is compatible with YOU, And what side effects are more likely to occur, which I’ll be taking! So I definitely recommend you to do that if you’re serious about your needs.
I’m currently on 3 medications for my mental health and will be receiving a 4th, and I sure hope it helps! I’m ready to be free of dealing with my mental battles. If you’re worried about being on too many meds and think “4” is too much, don’t hesitate to let them know that and they’ll most likely find other medications that battle multiple things at once, rather than having to take much more than you’d want. But there definitely isn’t a cure all pill XD
If your psychiatrist or prescriber isn’t listening to your needs or what you’d like to be on, there is other ones within the same building, either virtually or in person. Just go and do that before quitting entirely with this mental health service dealing with medication, same goes with therapy, find other therapists before you go transferring.
I know mental health is hard and is a struggle, trust me. I’ve lived that route my entire life, but just try your best to not give up.. and try to put faith and hope into your treatments and who you’re working with to battle with that you go through. I know not everyone’s experience will be the same as mine, but I’ve had some prescribers and therapists I absolutely hated from here, and that’s why I switched to different ones within the same building and finally found ones who I feel listen to me.
I’d rate this place 5 stars for never giving up on me, and accepting me back when I gave up on them, they’ll try their best to listen to you, and will do what they can to help you, giving you resources and recommendations, etc So hopefully your experience here won’t be too bad.
And if you feel they’re putting you on too much medication, or are doing something you don’t quite feel comfortable with, just let them know that, and if you’re a minor explain that to your parent or guardian! So that you can both discuss that to the person you’re seeing. And hopefully all goes well.
And like I said this is just my experience and I cannot speak on the behalf of others, but I do have faith that you’ll get the treatment you need, just don’t forget to tell them how you’re truly feeling.
Ps, Best of wishes to current you and future you! You’re here for a reason, don’t waste that💕

This place is completely what you make of it and you have to be willing to go through the work to get better. That being said if you put in the work and are willing to improve, in my experience there is no better place to begin your recovery.
I started coming to United Psychological due to a horrible head injury and was off work for over 6 months. Working with Lisa has helped put me back together. At the time of starting therapy, I still didn't have my Bachelor's Degree and wasn't sure if I was ever going to be able to work again. There was a point in my post concussion syndrome that I was worried I would never get better. I was worried I'd have to get on assistance or worse yet take my own life to get out of it. Going through Lisa's rehab program there I am now going for my Master's in CyberSecurity and working a 6-figure job. Something I am greatly thankful to Lisa for and our many difficult therapy sessions. To those of you who have had head injuries, you owe it to yourself to try to build back your brain to its full potential and be able to take on as much as you can.
Other than brain rehab and ADHD work I also worked with Lisa on undiagnosed and hidden childhood trauma. Working through this has given me the courage to take on even more challenges in life and stop holding myself back from doing better. All of the time and hard work we both put in has gotten me to the point in my life now where I believe I can take on anything and I am capable of far more things than ever before. Lisa, if you're reading this thanks for helping me put my life together and thanks for helping me move forward. I couldn't have done it without you!

They have been amazing. Their testing was great. The school report for my son was so helpful for the 504 plan and the IEP. Dr. Fisher is so supportive and thorough. The care providers are just great.
They have helped our family in so many ways. Their interventions have literally changed our lives for the better.
Are they perfect?- no. There has been the occasional hiccup with scheduling and billing. But they apologize and fix anything that is wrong. I hold them to the same expectations I hope others have for me. People aren’t perfect. And occasionally a person makes a mistake. Give them grace and move on.
The service they provide is worth any small inconvenience. Don’t hesitate to contact them for support.
