I’ve been tested for COVID-19 twice at this Mayo satellite clinic, once on fall 2020 and again today, late May 2021. The clinic was indeed overwhelmed by testing demand the first time. Cars lined the public road out front and the parking lot was full. In spite of this challenge the staff was able to administer my test within 15 minutes of the scheduled time. They were pleasant and very professional. I received my test results electronically (as their publicly available documentation stated I would if the test was negative). The results took approx 24hrs although I was told to expect results in 24-48hrs. Today I arrived 10 minutes early. The parking lot was only 20% full. When I walked up to the portal to scan the posted QR code as instructed the door opened and a Mayo staffer greeted me by name and invited me in for my test. I didn’t even need to scan the code. As before, the staff member who administered the test was pleasant and efficient. Expectations for test results are still 24-48hrs although I was told that results have been coming in more quickly now that demand for testing has fallen. My recommendation if you need COVID-19 testing, is to use the Mayo App on your phone or login to your Mayo account through the web portal on your PC. Follow the instructions and you’ll be fine. Please don’t bother the staff with phone calls asking for information about your test that you will receive electronically. Don’t waste their time. They have other patients to tend to. If you’re test results are positive I am told that they will call you with that result and to discuss your treatment options. I’m very happy with this clinic location.

I've had nothing, but wonderful experiences and top quality care through Mayo! The nurses are knowledgeable and caring. They remember you and have very personable conversation. The doctors are incredible as well. Our doctor, Kim Beecher, has been very accommodating with our family although she has a very busy schedule. The nutritionist there is HORRIBLE. I personally am lactose intolerant and when I was admitted my liver was bad, so I needed a diet tailored to helping me recover. She told me if I can’t find anything to just eat from the salad bar. I stood my ground and she let the kitchen staff know I was lactose intolerant and couldn’t eat fried stuff but that is ridiculous I should not have to argue with her. Then my roommate had ARFID so she needed dietary help, and the nutritionist told her to eat bread. That’s a sad and pathetic excuse for a nutritionist. Staffs great but they should certainly fire her.

Very caring staff and a very welcoming environment. Food is very good. Could not have gotta sober or gotten through withdrawals with out coming here. If you or a loved one are struggling this is the best program I have ever attend. It saved my life!

With any institution trying to implement a broad program for individuals, there are bound to be issues. With that being said, my time at HBF Plymouth was invaluable. I especially want to mention Mary the psychologist & counselors Sara and Cozi on the Pioneer Unit. Advocacy is a huge part of individual recovery, and I was especially encouraged by these three to ask for what I need when I need it. It works if you work it!

Went to this place in 2018 short term program, 3 months. Saved and changed my life. I understand it may not be for some but it always starts with yourself, you have to really want it and if you do the people and counselors here will help guide your way. Not everything is sunshine and rainbows here or anywhere for that matter, you have to be strong you have to be determined and if you are this place will work wonders for you. I'll have 8 years sober in 2 days and it all started here. Life is what you make it. If you're lost it doesn't mean you're lost forever, sometimes we all just need a little help and adult and teen challenge can be that help.

It might make you upset sometimes, and you’ll come to understand uncomfortable truths about yourself. Might piss you off a little, and you’ll learn habits of healthy resolution. Learn from this place. When a line of people out the door say “good morning” and ask “how are you doing today?” they TRULY want to know. I went here back in 2023 I believe in the beginning of July. I delayed my go and staff was saying you’ll wish you went sooner I did! I loved it this place has been a huge part of my sobriety I wish I could’ve stayed longer than a month! Which they will allow you to stay longer! They do help you find scholarships so you can get in! Do no hesitate just call! I still struggle with addiction but I have slowed down a lot because of this place! They do offer help after just call and make the change here!

Having been here for over 10 years I can tell you there’s not a better place to go, without Valhalla (BHG) I wouldn’t be able to thrive and live a normal life which I’ve been able to do. So far my experience with Anne Marie has been TERRIBLE!!!! Early in recovery dealing with disconnection notices and getting back into the work force relying on public transportation in rural Minnesota and trying to find housing is NOT EASY and neither it is an excuse, but I am not sure how she can be kicked out of group after 1 group absence and individual. It is frustrating to work with a provider who calls their clients names during sessions and communicates in a condescending manner. Is this place not trauma informed? I’m so confused as to how I was discharged without being able to speak for myself or to Anne Marie’s supervisor. UPDATE: Club recovery was ready to listen to my concerns and was quick to offer an efficient solution. I am highly satisfied with the care that I've received at Club Recovery, but amazed at their proficient customer service.
