I've changed my review they've implemented a lot of good things. The monthly mandatory group is online now which is amazing I have severe phobias and sitting in a small room of 20 people with potentially catching COVID makes me feel a lot better knowing I can sit at home in a group on camera and my counselor Rob is amazing and genuinely cares so they fixed a lot so I give this clinic a thumbs up. My previous review wasn't too fair I feel like they fixed a lot of the issues that I had problems with which is really good lots of places don't do that and they certainly don't listen to their clients usually and fixing those issues so it's a very nice change of pace to feel like we are heard 👍

The experience was fine but the after effects of the cortisone just about killed me. My blood glucose would not come down and I was voracious and couldn't eat what my body craved because of the blood glucose.

Nystrom has an integrated staff model. Offices are spread out all over the state, but they all work together which allows a quicker pathway for receiving services. Most other offices in one geographic location have waiting lists to be seen which is tough on a patient with emergent mental health issues that exacerbate while left untreated.

My daughter's fiance had just moved here and needed to establish care with a new provider. His appointment with a fairview provider got canceled on the day of the appointment (due to the provider being out sick). We were scrambling to get in to see someone since his meds were about to run out. The front desk staff at the Lakeville Clinic (Nikki and another gal) were AMAZING! They showed empathy and did everything they could to help us get in to see someone else. They helped us understand the system and how to get established with a provider. What a blessing in a tough situation! Thanks, ladies!

So they take great care of their elderly, they have staff making sure to check on every patient on the hour. They also come up with fun, creative of activities. They allow friendly dogs on leash and they keep families updated very well on all the situations that’s going on with the elderly! The staff are so kind and amazing and are so great at their jobs. My mom lived in the Trinity Terrace assisted living apartments for 7 years before moving to the Care Center 1-1/2 years ago. She has had exceptional care in both facilities. Her needs have always been handled with the utmost respect and professionalism. The staff is consistently caring and attentive. Communication with family members is handled in a timely manner, often within a few hours, or immediately, depending on the situation. I have recommended Trinity Terrace and Trinity Care Center to friends who are looking for a new home for their loved one. Trinity has been home to my mother for almost 9 years!

firstly i had a great experience with dr kimberly, she listened to all of my concerns and addressed every single one. secondly the lab technician/phlebotomist (unsure of their title) Jorge was amazing, i have a huge fear of needles, i end up passing out every time but he did an amazing job of distracting me and making it a comfortable and the best experience i’ve had getting my blood drawn, you don’t typically get that from interaction that’s so short. and my test results with explanations and recommendations were back within a day. everyone i talked to from the front desk to the nurses were incredibly kind and professional. will definitely be making this location my go to for my health.

In 2022, I was placed on an involuntary 72 hour hold by another hospital. It was extremely unwarranted and I was threatened with physical violence and had my human rights violated. That hospital sent me to the inpatient facility at Owatonna. Based on the experience at Buffalo, I was extremely standoffish. I was hysterical. I told them I would not speak with them, I would not let them touch me, I wanted to call my family because buffalo would not let me contact my family and they actually trespassed my entire family from their hospital for literally no reason after my family convinced me to just stay and do what they asked. The nurse was taken aback and asked what happened and I explained and she basically said “oh my god, I’m so sorry. We won’t do that here. We’re going to help you.” And something in her voice made me believe her. I think it took a day and a half maybe to talk to the psychiatrist, but he’s the reason I’m writing this review. He released me before the 72 hour hold was up and said he didn’t believe I needed to be there. He joked with me. I even made jokes that other psychs might’ve held me longer for making and when I ended with a “whoops, shouldn’t have let that one slip” he laughed with me and said no, it shows me you have a healthy coping mechanism. He really just talked to me like a human being and that’s not something I’ve dealt with in my 15 years of experience being treated for mental health conditions. He also went out of his way to call my primary care doctor and tell her he thought she was doing a great job with the medication aspect of my treatment, and when I saw her again she was really surprised he did that and said it was really nice. I don’t remember his name, but I wanted to write this review just to give him a little recognition because he deserves it. I’ve met with probably 10-12 psychiatrists in my life and he was by far the kindest, smartest, most human psychiatrist I’ve met.

I was run off the road had women and men in my life nowhere to go and they gave me a place to stay. The Pride Institute is a place of miracles. The healing and recovery that takes place here is life-changing. I cannot speak highly enough, of the dedication of the staff. From counselors to therapists, from the tech staff to the cooks who prepare our daily meal, they are all 100% dedicated to the clients. In addition, the sense of community that is fostered here allow each individual to shine. You find yourself among peers who often have the same struggles that you have had.
You truly find yourself supported, and definitely not alone. If you are serious about getting sober, and have the opportunity to get to the Pride Institute, you should definitely consider this one of your best options.

I recently completed my time at Hazelden Betty Ford, and I can honestly say it was a life-changing experience. From the moment I arrived, I felt supported and welcomed into a community that truly understands the journey to recovery. I enjoyed every minute of my stay and met so many lifelong friends who continue to be an important part of my life.
During my time there, I learned that I can have fun while being sober, which was a huge revelation for me. The program gave me valuable life skills that I will carry with me forever, and the staff helped me get my medications sorted out, which made a world of difference in my day-to-day well-being.
I especially appreciated the day treatment program, which kept me engaged, motivated, and focused on my recovery. Now that I’m in IOP (Intensive Outpatient Program), I’m still enjoying the supportive structure and continuing to grow every day. I was there during Covid. Amazing staff, treated with the upmost care. Tommy T is an amazing man who cares deeply for everyone and their story. So my experience here was an amazing life changing moment, that is leading the way for me to be successful in my Recovery. From every single RA to the kitchen staff, and everyone else that works there. My counselor was Jon, he was funny, blunt, caring and very smart. Im grateful to have met him. Cheryl and Kelly may seem like tough cookies, but they are god sent human beings that want nothing but the best for each and everyone of you. I see the hate in the comments..... The program is simple, follow the rules, learn, participate, and dont waste a bed for people that really want this!. I highly recommend this place to everyone. Im blessed i got the chance. Burkwood is an amazing place. Their staff truly care and are so rich of information to share about addiction, recovery, and real life. They’re are meant for their jobs. I’ve learned so much while I was there. I valued the daily book we filled out on our own, fully engaging and eye opening. I was lucky to have Pete as my counselor. His approach was thorough and helpful. My only complaint is that it was crowded there and access to phones, bathrooms, and laundry was a bit tricky but maybe that will change at some point. Thank you Burkwood!

Our Daughter is alive today because of God’s love and grace and a big help from The Retreat. She has been sober now for over 3 years. Thank you staff at the Retreat for giving us our daughter back.
