I've changed my review they've implemented a lot of good things. The monthly mandatory group is online now which is amazing I have severe phobias and sitting in a small room of 20 people with potentially catching COVID makes me feel a lot better knowing I can sit at home in a group on camera and my counselor Rob is amazing and genuinely cares so they fixed a lot so I give this clinic a thumbs up. My previous review wasn't too fair I feel like they fixed a lot of the issues that I had problems with which is really good lots of places don't do that and they certainly don't listen to their clients usually and fixing those issues so it's a very nice change of pace to feel like we are heard

I m mildly shocked by all the bad reviews I m new to this clinic.I found my hand PT Sophia to be the expert I needed. There is a fine balance between kindness, knowledge and efficiency that makes Professionalism, and she has it. In one appt I had exercises on PTX and custom-made splints. One problem went beyond her role as PT. She referred me to Dr. Yeo for further assessment.I got an appt the next morning with Dr. Yeo and my first cortizone shot, which was unexpected. He was also excellent- energetic, personable, observant, efficient, authentic. I felt comfortable and heard, which I can t say for a lot of doctors. And he met my curiosity by pointing out structures through the seeming static of an ultrasound image. Love it.The front desk women and Allison were professional and warm and I didn t have a problem scheduling a follow up appointment and an MRI. In fact, Radiology called ME to schedule. My busy mind really appreciates the proactive initiative and interdepartmental communication flow.For the first time after many years of pain, I feel I m getting the appropriate treatment for my damaged, painful hand. I am hopeful instead of resolute.I know the future process steps of care which reduces anxiety. My only complaint was the pain of the cortizone shot, but hey, what can you do? My experience at this clinic has been outstanding. I ve worked in healthcare and I have seen patients treated awfully and without empathy.When things go well, human nature dictates that it goes unnoticed because it unconsciously meets our expectations for care. In other words, when everything goes the way we think it should, we don t even notice.That s when you know your care is really good!!Smooth!Uneventful!I m counting my blessings.Thank you all

The OB clinic is really nice. I love Dr. Looby and I didn t have a hard time adjusting to a new environment especially that I just moved here from another state. The lab down the hall was also wonderful. The lady who drew the sample did everything right from identification to the blood draw process. I don t comment whenever these things are done but I had to commend it because not everyone does it correctly. I m glad to find this place.

In 2022, I was placed on an involuntary 72 hour hold by another hospital. It was extremely unwarranted and I was threatened with physical violence and had my human rights violated. That hospital sent me to the inpatient facility at Owatonna. Based on the experience at Buffalo, I was extremely standoffish. I was hysterical. I told them I would not speak with them, I would not let them touch me, I wanted to call my family because buffalo would not let me contact my family and they actually trespassed my entire family from their hospital for literally no reason after my family convinced me to just stay and do what they asked. The nurse was taken aback and asked what happened and I explained and she basically said oh my god, I m so sorry. We won t do that here. We re going to help you. And something in her voice made me believe her. I think it took a day and a half maybe to talk to the psychiatrist, but he s the reason I m writing this review. He released me before the 72 hour hold was up and said he didn t believe I needed to be there. He joked with me. I even made jokes that other psychs might ve held me longer for making and when I ended with a whoops, shouldn t have let that one slip he laughed with me and said no, it shows me you have a healthy coping mechanism. He really just talked to me like a human being and that s not something I ve dealt with in my 15 years of experience being treated for mental health conditions. He also went out of his way to call my primary care doctor and tell her he thought she was doing a great job with the medication aspect of my treatment, and when I saw her again she was really surprised he did that and said it was really nice. I don t remember his name, but I wanted to write this review just to give him a little recognition because he deserves it. I ve met with probably 10-12 psychiatrists in my life and he was by far the kindest, smartest, most human psychiatrist I ve met.

Absolutely The Number 1 place I recommend for health emergencies or Issues. I live near Rochester and drive an Hour to Owatonna because of how caring the Staff is and the Doctors really know what they are doing and make sure you leave knowing your next steps and feeling better. Dr. Knutson is by far the best I've had in my life. I've had tooth infection before but he stopped the spread and pain quickly and set me up with an oral surgeon. Thank you

i go to iop here, every single day i wake up and im looking forward to going. the staff are so friendly and make the place very welcoming. i love coming here and sharing my experiences with my peers and counselor, everyone listens and gives feedback (if wanted) and it’s nice to know im not alone in my struggles. the building its self if very calming and doesn’t get me overwhelmed or overstimulated. if i do get upset about something i can go to the iop program manager and talk to her in her office, where she listens to me if i don’t feel comfortable sharing in a medium environment. all of the counselors understand we are going through a hard time and have our own struggles, they put their every bit of attention onto the patients and make sure if they have needs, they are met. this program accepts adolescents and adults who are struggling, i know so many people who have had success in their sobriety due to this program. i love this place and i would 1000% recommend trying it out.

This is a wonderful structured medication assisted program with church optional, baptisms, large group therapy and small group therapy, chores, 12-step program, they are given assignments to do and journals and Discovery Bible, a gift upon entry of small items like toothbrush and toothpaste, there is telephone time which is structured and family visitation night (Thursdays) and family visitation afternoon on Saturdays. They can see a doctor on site. There are pods I think of six persons and two persons to a room. It's a wonderful program!

Pride is a fundamental institution offering comprehensive co occurring mental and substance programs for those in the Lgbtg2IA+ community who struggle with addiction and mental health in Mn and across the country. I have been a resident, visitor and have worked with pride through a CPRS program bringing peer services to individuals. This institution was the beginning of a foundation that continues to carry me through my decisions daily. It is an inclusive refuge where lives can truly begin, through the gift of recovery. Where do I start...Checked into Burkwood on 09/25/2023 a shell of the person i once was for my 8th attempt at treatment a hopeless dope addict and the man who left 42 days later was almost unrecognizable as the same person. I am going to keep this short and to the point. This place saved my life! To anyone who has been to treatment before and failed to stay sober after I have an easy recipe for success i will lay out for you and if it worked for me it can work for anyone and here it is. Call burkwood make a plan, show up, Surrender(#1 biggest thing you have to do) and by that i mean just give in to the process and listen to what they are saying even when you want to question why just do what they are telling you they are not doing what their doing for any other reason then it flipping works, next is get involved and share with your peers and last but not least don't leave till they tell you your ready to and follow their recommendations its just that easy! The food at burkwood was amazing the staff was amazing and the accommodations overall were also amazing! Special thanks to Cheryl, Kelly M, Will, Kevin, Jake, Aaron and that's just a few of the people who made my recovery possible and as magical as it was!

You ll see an emotional sensitivity from the manliest, and a surprising level of courage from the meek.Learn from this place. When a line of people out the door say good morning and ask how are you doing today? it s not just a formality they TRULY want to know. You might never find a group of friends quite like the ones you ll have at the Retreat.From one guy who s had trouble seeing shit to the end for my entire life, going here (and sticking with it) was inarguably the best decision I ve ever made.

I absolutely adored my loving, kind, understanding, compassionate and just a teeny tiny bit rough, counselor, Ava.
Additionally, the program isn't like others that I've been to. I felt less triggered and much more like a family. Park gave me a purpose and motivation to get up, go, and actively participate every day. I enjoyed My time there so so much!!! And I came away with a great support system and the tools to be successful and healthy.
If you are looking for a good and loving recovery program, you will find it in Park Ave!!! Recommend 20 out of 10!!!!!

I went here on June 2nd 2023 I've been sober ever since! I still go here for therapy I absolutely love this place! I honestly cannot say enough great things about the staff they genuinely care about each and every client and it shows tremendously! Park Ave saved my life and my family! They didn't just help me get sober they helped me recover and gave me the best tools to maintain my recovery! I do and will continue to recommend Park Ave to anyone who struggles with addiction! I've been to several treatments and NEVER maintained my recovery until I went here! My family and I will be forever grateful to Park Ave for their dedication to save lives they certainly saved mine!
