I've changed my review they've implemented a lot of good things. The monthly mandatory group is online now which is amazing I have severe phobias and sitting in a small room of 20 people with potentially catching COVID makes me feel a lot better knowing I can sit at home in a group on camera and my counselor Rob is amazing and genuinely cares so they fixed a lot so I give this clinic a thumbs up. My previous review wasn't too fair I feel like they fixed a lot of the issues that I had problems with which is really good lots of places don't do that and they certainly don't listen to their clients usually and fixing those issues so it's a very nice change of pace to feel like we are heard 👍

You guys saved my life twice. The treatment and care I have received is top notch. The trauma counseling is the best I've ever had. I love the way Hazelden expedited my treatment when they realized how severe my mental health issues were. The counseling in SILKWORTH and Osborne and Lilly are second to none. My daughter's fiance had just moved here and needed to establish care with a new provider. His appointment with a fairview provider got canceled on the day of the appointment (due to the provider being out sick). We were scrambling to get in to see someone since his meds were about to run out. The front desk staff at the Lakeville Clinic (Nikki and another gal) were AMAZING! They showed empathy and did everything they could to help us get in to see someone else. They helped us understand the system and how to get established with a provider. What a blessing in a tough situation! Thanks, ladies!

So they take great care of their elderly, they have staff making sure to check on every patient on the hour. They also come up with fun, creative of activities. They allow friendly dogs on leash and they keep families updated very well on all the situations that’s going on with the elderly! The staff are so kind and amazing and are so great at their jobs. My mom lived in the Trinity Terrace assisted living apartments for 7 years before moving to the Care Center 1-1/2 years ago. She has had exceptional care in both facilities. Her needs have always been handled with the utmost respect and professionalism. The staff is consistently caring and attentive. Communication with family members is handled in a timely manner, often within a few hours, or immediately, depending on the situation. I have recommended Trinity Terrace and Trinity Care Center to friends who are looking for a new home for their loved one. Trinity has been home to my mother for almost 9 years!

firstly i had a great experience with dr kimberly, she listened to all of my concerns and addressed every single one. secondly the lab technician/phlebotomist (unsure of their title) Jorge was amazing, i have a huge fear of needles, i end up passing out every time but he did an amazing job of distracting me and making it a comfortable and the best experience i’ve had getting my blood drawn, you don’t typically get that from interaction that’s so short. and my test results with explanations and recommendations were back within a day. everyone i talked to from the front desk to the nurses were incredibly kind and professional. will definitely be making this location my go to for my health.

In 2022, I was placed on an involuntary 72 hour hold by another hospital. It was extremely unwarranted and I was threatened with physical violence and had my human rights violated. That hospital sent me to the inpatient facility at Owatonna. Based on the experience at Buffalo, I was extremely standoffish. I was hysterical. I told them I would not speak with them, I would not let them touch me, I wanted to call my family because buffalo would not let me contact my family and they actually trespassed my entire family from their hospital for literally no reason after my family convinced me to just stay and do what they asked. The nurse was taken aback and asked what happened and I explained and she basically said “oh my god, I’m so sorry. We won’t do that here. We’re going to help you.” And something in her voice made me believe her. I think it took a day and a half maybe to talk to the psychiatrist, but he’s the reason I’m writing this review. He released me before the 72 hour hold was up and said he didn’t believe I needed to be there. He joked with me. I even made jokes that other psychs might’ve held me longer for making and when I ended with a “whoops, shouldn’t have let that one slip” he laughed with me and said no, it shows me you have a healthy coping mechanism. He really just talked to me like a human being and that’s not something I’ve dealt with in my 15 years of experience being treated for mental health conditions. He also went out of his way to call my primary care doctor and tell her he thought she was doing a great job with the medication aspect of my treatment, and when I saw her again she was really surprised he did that and said it was really nice. I don’t remember his name, but I wanted to write this review just to give him a little recognition because he deserves it. I’ve met with probably 10-12 psychiatrists in my life and he was by far the kindest, smartest, most human psychiatrist I’ve met.

Abria Recovery in Burnsville truly helped change my life. I came in at a point where I really needed structure, accountability, and people who actually cared about what happened to me. From the beginning, I felt like I was treated like a real person instead of just another client, and that meant a lot. Mike deserves a lot of credit because you can tell he genuinely cares about the people there. He takes time to listen, treats everyone with respect, and really wants to see people succeed. That kind of support makes a huge difference when you’re trying to rebuild your life. Sydney was also an amazing counselor. She was easy to talk to, honest when I needed to hear it, and supportive throughout the process. She helped me work through a lot and played a big role in my recovery. Recovery is hard, but Abria gave me a solid foundation and connected me with people who helped me move forward. The nutritionist there is HORRIBLE. I personally am lactose intolerant and when I was admitted my liver was bad, so I needed a diet tailored to helping me recover. She told me if I can’t find anything to just eat from the salad bar. I stood my ground and she let the kitchen staff know I was lactose intolerant and couldn’t eat fried stuff but that is ridiculous I should not have to argue with her. Then my roommate had ARFID so she needed dietary help, and the nutritionist told her to eat bread. That’s a sad and pathetic excuse for a nutritionist. Staffs great but they should certainly fire her.

Very caring staff and a very welcoming environment. Food is very good. Could not have gotta sober or gotten through withdrawals with out coming here. If you or a loved one are struggling this is the best program I have ever attend. It saved my life!

With any institution trying to implement a broad program for individuals, there are bound to be issues. With that being said, my time at HBF Plymouth was invaluable. I especially want to mention Mary the psychologist & counselors Sara and Cozi on the Pioneer Unit. Advocacy is a huge part of individual recovery, and I was especially encouraged by these three to ask for what I need when I need it. It works if you work it!

Residential was crucial for me to start my Recovery journey and IOP (shout out to Jaime and Cheryl)has been instrumental in reaching 90 days sober! Went to this place in 2018 short term program, 3 months. Saved and changed my life. I understand it may not be for some but it always starts with yourself, you have to really want it and if you do the people and counselors here will help guide your way. Not everything is sunshine and rainbows here or anywhere for that matter, you have to be strong you have to be determined and if you are this place will work wonders for you. I'll have 8 years sober in 2 days and it all started here. Life is what you make it. If you're lost it doesn't mean you're lost forever, sometimes we all just need a little help and adult and teen challenge can be that help.

I went here back in 2023 I believe in the beginning of July. I delayed my go and staff was saying you’ll wish you went sooner I did! I loved it this place has been a huge part of my sobriety I wish I could’ve stayed longer than a month! Which they will allow you to stay longer! They do help you find scholarships so you can get in!
