Managing health issues are always a difficult, but I have found the people and facilities at Riverview make every effort to make these moments as easy on you as possible. Valet your car at the front door, register at the front desk, take in the sweeping views of the river, and be seen by doctors, nurses, and the all the other staff members who make you feel like a real-life person they care about helping rather than a cog in the machine of their business. Dr Ciervo and team saved my life in a medical emergency a few years ago and I will never forget how compassionate they were through the entire process. I also highly recommend the Women's Center for annual screenings and follow up procedures as Dr Borofsky and her team - specifically Tiffany, Lisa, Doris and Danielle - were a dream team and provided the kind of top-notch care that all women deserve.

Relevance Treatment Center was a necessary step in my recovery to secure sobriety and live a life worth living. Their PHP, IOP programs helped me to regain tools and skills to support my mental & physical health. I have been struggling very much and when I arrived, I was met with the upmost respect, care, support and kindness. It is a comfortable & safe environment for those struggling with mental health issues, substance addictions, etc. and it is all owed to the loving staff. In their own respective manners, the amazingly sweet receptionist LeaAnn made the environment feel warm and friendly from the very beginning, she always said good morning and how is your day, truly caring about how you felt and being honest, it was hard for her not to make your day better. The technician and maintenance team involving the hilarious and comforting Joe & Rob would always find a solution to any of our needs and make us priority #1, yet would always have some time to talk and joke around with us during our groups in between groups. They are tremendous and I thank them for making rough days better. Words cannot describe the level of care and effort put by the clinical team, but Chelsea, Gracie, Henry, Monika, Josh, Julie & Victoria (Both case managers who helped individual clients with housing, financial, income, etc.) were monumental in my recovery and ability to cope with my issues in life. I am grateful for the work they do and their passion behind every intent. I felt validated everyday and I cannot thank them enough. The medical team including Dr. Paul Gazzara, nurse practitioner Latifah Oparison & Nurse Patty were incredibly helpful and understanding in the medications that were necessary for me in my beginning stages of recovery. Everyone in the admissions team including John, Gina, Dan & Tabitha made the initial steps very easy to grasp and helped throughout the way. They helped majorly ease any financial burden. Clinical directors Jess & Melanie deal with a lot of work and not often did I see them, yet they always made time for anyone to come and talk about any issues or just to have a conversation with them. They are incredibly kind and amazing at their field of work, they care and I am very grateful. Would definitely recommend for those who have or are currently with mental health/substance abuse. In my experience of rehab centers, detox, sober living, this has been one of the greatest.

He created a comfortable and trusting environment where I felt safe to openly discuss my challenges. His guidance was always practical and actionable, helping me develop coping mechanisms and strategies that genuinely improved my well-being. I particularly valued his ability to listen intently and offer perspectives that I hadn't considered, which was crucial for my progress.
I was genuinely disappointed to learn that Chris is no longer working at Relevance. Soba saved my life. Through the detox into residential, staff was attentive and showed they cared about us clients and even at the higher level Mike C. made sure we were all taken care of and even went out of his way to set up snack/movie nights and ordered take out once a week which was always good. My friend Scott overdosed. Those words alone carry fear, chaos, and heartbreak. Walking into a hospital in that situation, I didn’t know if I’d see him alive. I didn’t know who would care enough to guide me through it. But Kylie and Jordan were there—and they didn’t just do their job, they redefined what it means to care.
Here’s exactly what they did:
* **They stood by Scott’s side** in his most critical moments, not letting him feel like just another patient on a chart.
* **They guided me directly to his room.** No hesitation, no “wait over here,” no confusion. They understood that in a moment of crisis, time and clarity mean everything.

I am excited to share that I graduated from their Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) in June 2025. After years of suffering from corporate burnout, I reached my tipping point and realized I needed help. I am beyond grateful that I found this facility and put in the work to get better. With the help of their staff, I learned how much pain I was allowing myself to endure in regard to my mental well-being. I now recognize how important it is to take care of your mental health. In most cases the state of your mind can manifest physically – resulting in difficulty sleeping, panic attacks, digestive issues, etc. We all experience stressors in life, but how we choose to deal with them may vary. Unless people are aware and accepting of the benefits of therapy, most individuals typically choose to address their burdens with unhealthy coping mechanisms such as emotional eating, self-harm, or substance abuse just to name a few.
I’d like to recognize and praise the clinicians on staff who helped create a safe and informative space for their patients. Their multifaceted approach to treatment helped educate and address our individual needs. During group therapy, I learned/practiced healthier coping skills with other patients to better prepare myself for stressful situations. In individual therapy, my dedicated clinician (Wilfred Montemayor, LSW) helped me uncover and address the traumas in my life that were contributing to my old and harmful ways of managing stress. Lastly, their onsite psychiatrist (Dr. Jeffrey Hall MD) was both knowledgeable and patient when it came to prescribing medications when and if necessary.
I never felt pressured to participate in activities or undergo medication, but I always felt informed and empowered to challenge myself to get better. If you are ever in doubt about seeking mental health treatment, please know that your feelings are valid, and you are not alone. No matter how monstrous your life problems can be, we can all relate to the feelings they instill in us. The professionals of this facility, and even the patients, are here to help you and you owe it to yourself to live your best life!

I have been coming to Stress Care for several years now and at first it was a little rocky but about six months ago I was assigned to Christina. I cannot recommend Christina highly enough. She is an incredibly compassionate, skilled, and insightful therapist who creates a safe and supportive space for real growth and healing. I had a second voluntary patient stay from March 20th until April 1st, 2025 and it was the best stay I ever had, I learned so many ways to make things better for myself and my future independence, the food in the cafeteria was great especially the cheeseburgers and French fries, I loved all the group sessions especially the music groups with Brianna, I just wish I could have seen and spoke to her one more time before I was discharged to tell her how special she is and was to me, thank you for helping me and I will never forget your love and kindness, I wish Brianna could have recorded herself singing for me because I love her voice and I miss you all so much and may God bless.

I went to bright harbor healthcare for years for my daughter ( I go there for myself also and I love my therapist) however her experience was sub par and I have some HUGE reservations with her last therapist especially because she tried to talk my daughter into taking HRT behind my my back which she didn’t even want them. I took them out and switched her to preferred and now she sees Megan and WOW she is doing so much better she’s so much more communicative and open her behavior has drastically changed and I feel like I’ve got my child back. I recommend them to anyone that sees that their child is going through a rough time. I even put my seven year old in therapy there for aggressive behavior issues I was convinced she had ODD but a few months of seeing Alex and she is a different person no more freak outs I owe this place the world HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Genphyc Brick is absolutely amazing — they truly changed my life. I want to give a special thank you to my counselor there, Ande. It’s rare to come across professionals who are both deeply compassionate and incredibly skilled at what they do. Ande was the first person I’ve worked with who genuinely helped guide me on my path to sobriety.
I checked into Genphyc Brick in August of last year and completed the program in November. I chose to wait until I reached one full year sober before writing this review, to make sure the tools and support I received really held up in the long term. I’m proud to say that they absolutely did — I’m now over a year sober.
The meetings, the skill-building, the continuous support — all of it helped lay the foundation for lasting change in my life. I can’t thank Genphyc and Ande enough for everything they’ve done.

Very easy to talk to and a guy who really cares about his clients recovery and would go the extra step to make you feel comfortable. I would also like to leave another 5 star review to the staff member who whe front window Mr Sadiq Rouses he is very pleasant person and a great guy to talk to he makes the morning very easy since he knows ever client by name he will never have to ask for your number he knows ever one by face and have you checked in and tell you what you need to do before you go to the window.. I REALLY appreciate the kindness and compassion that literally greets you at the door... I've only been on the program for a couple of months and I haven't met any staff member or supportive staff member(i.e. nursing, admissions) that have not been respectful and helpful... I have received wonderful therapeutical from my anxiety and stress. I first started coming here probably a year and a half ago and I saw a young lady name Pam, she was lovely, but went to another office, during that time I was starting to see of Andrea, who was a pivotal, life-changing therapist for me, I have been always in this self development, try to treat stress on my own type of person however, Andrea and I have come up with many coping skills and she’s told me through the most critical and most stressful times of My adult life. I give her so much credit. Not only is she empathetic and compassionate. She makes me feel like I’m not less than for feeling certain ways that I feel. I feel like that she’s help me to reframe certain thoughts that I’ve had that have cut me in a stressful crisis cycle . The front desk staff is fantastic, most importantly, this wonderful, lovely, professional, kind and beyond caring to every patient that she comes in contact with is Erin . She is irreplaceable, absolutely fantastic, and dealing with many situation at once, her and I actually took quite a bit because I have to fit my therapy into my schedule and she is accessible , and wonderfully accommodating. Her compassion for the patients that are there and what they’re going through is bar none!!! I am absolutely blessed, and I am becoming a better version of myself and have spread the word to dear friends and family to attend, as well . To be able to say that I am actually getting help from this wonderful community of trained professionals, who know exactly how to deal with people with all different needs of all different levels is really life-changing for me. I also attended a group that was spectacular, it made me feel less alone, and was supportive and not awkward and exactly what I needed.
