Tonight I was with a family member in the emergency room and would like to express my thanks to the staff who were not only professional, but were compassionate and kind. I believe the nurse who was there first was Alicia, whose shift was ending at 7p.m. and there was also Joann. Both of these women are a true blessing to any patient that needs emergency treatment.

My father was brought into the ER with a heart issue. The staff were amazing! Everyone worked diligently to stabilize his condition and make him comfortable. His stay was extended a few days and stents were needed. The nursing staff in the step down unit were absolutely incredible. Many thanks to Erin, Nicole, Haley, Jen, Dion, Jess, Amy and Jolyn!

My experience at the Soba House in New Brunswick, New Jersey has been nothing short of life changing. From the moment I arrived the staff made me feel supported respected, and genuinely cared for. Their compassion and dedication played a huge role in my alcohol recovery, and I never once felt alone there on my personal journey. Everyone there from the counselors to the support team created an environment where I could heal, grow, and rediscover confidence in myself. I’m truly grateful for the kindness and encouragement that they’ve showed me every step of the way. Big shouts out to HOV, MIKE, and DAVE for making my experience at the Soba house feel welcoming. With the movie nights, to morning check ins, I felt like I was at home. I’ve had a great experience here at SOBA. They have given me the tools and support I needed to work on my recovery. After my stay in detox I liked that residential was a small group with only 10 beds and it was an intimate group and I got the personal attention I needed to understand the disease of addiction.

High Focus has been pivotal to my success in understanding, as well as coping with my mental health. I have gone through the program twice in 5 years and this time around was fantastic. Kellie my clinician was excellent, she was compassionate, understanding, and really pushed me when I desperately needed to be pushed. All the clinicians who ran the groups were fantastic, Karyn, Ashley, Taylor, Kellie, Kendall, you all have made such positive impacts on my life. I can’t recommend high focus enough to those out there who are struggling mentally. I’ve been through Princeton house prior, and High Focus is far and away the best program around.

From the very first interaction, their intake and admissions team has been responsive, thorough, and incredibly supportive, ensuring that referrals are handled with the urgency and sensitivity they deserve. The clinical team at Rebirth is exceptional in their use of evidence-based practices, including CBT, DBT, trauma-informed care, and motivational interviewing.
One of the standout features of Rebirth is their integrated approach. I have been coming to Stress Care for several years now and at first it was a little rocky but about six months ago I was assigned to Christina. I cannot recommend Christina highly enough. She is an incredibly compassionate, skilled, and insightful therapist who creates a safe and supportive space for real growth and healing. From the very first session, I felt truly heard and understood. Christina has a unique ability to ask the right questions, offer meaningful perspectives, and guide me toward clarity in ways that feel empowering rather than overwhelming.
Her warmth, professionalism, and genuine care shine through in every interaction. I’ve noticed so many positive changes in my life thanks to her guidance, and I feel more confident, grounded, and hopeful than I have in years. If you are looking for a therapist who is both deeply empathetic and highly effective, Christina is truly exceptional. I leave every session feeling a million times better. Was brought in via EMS, admitted for 2 nights and 3 days in the adolescent unit. The hospital staff are incredible, caring and always smiling at all hours. The night neuro team came in while I was having an episode, instead of just making sure I was medically stable they held my hand and reassured me that they were right next to me and I'd be ok- all at 3 in the morning! Shout out to Nurses Kim, Sam, Heather; all the rest of the nurses in Adolescents; Doctor Sarah Yavelberg and the Peds team; and Art Therapist Christiana and Child Life Specialist Jasdeep 🩷🩷! I definitely felt safe, taken care of, listened to, validated and understood during my hospitalization.
Additionally, the place is very clean, aesthetically appealing, and well-designed. There was a bed with a separate curtain, light and tv for parent to stay overnight. Meals can be ordered from an extensive menu and are delivered to rooms. They changed sheets as often as requested, even multiple times a day.
People ask why I insist on traveling the hour distance to New Brunswick for emergencies, and this is why! If there was an option to give more than five stars, RWJ New Brunswick would definitely get it!

I love to thank this place for taking care of my wife ann.She came there because the nursing home isn't have her or didnt know her bipolar meds and after my wife had an operation to get her gallbladder taken out this is where the problem started ans my wife went crazy.But after she went to barnabas health they took good care of my wife to the fullest.Some people have different opinions but this place did that and some.They took very very good care of her and they have there strict policies but requardless this place is the best.Thank you barnabas nurses and doctors for taking full.care of my wife and I give this place 5 full stars.joe

I have received wonderful therapeutical from my anxiety and stress. I first started coming here probably a year and a half ago and I saw a young lady name Pam, she was lovely, but went to another office, during that time I was starting to see of Andrea, who was a pivotal, life-changing therapist for me, I have been always in this self development, try to treat stress on my own type of person however, Andrea and I have come up with many coping skills and she’s told me through the most critical and most stressful times of My adult life. I give her so much credit. Not only is she empathetic and compassionate. She makes me feel like I’m not less than for feeling certain ways that I feel. I feel like that she’s help me to reframe certain thoughts that I’ve had that have cut me in a stressful crisis cycle . The front desk staff is fantastic, most importantly, this wonderful, lovely, professional, kind and beyond caring to every patient that she comes in contact with is Erin . She is irreplaceable, absolutely fantastic, and dealing with many situation at once, her and I actually took quite a bit because I have to fit my therapy into my schedule and she is accessible , and wonderfully accommodating. Her compassion for the patients that are there and what they’re going through is bar none!!! I am absolutely blessed, and I am becoming a better version of myself and have spread the word to dear friends and family to attend, as well . To be able to say that I am actually getting help from this wonderful community of trained professionals, who know exactly how to deal with people with all different needs of all different levels is really life-changing for me. I also attended a group that was spectacular, it made me feel less alone, and was supportive and not awkward and exactly what I needed.

I looked at some of the negative reviews, however, I had quite the positive experience. First of all, having been in different locations so far this hospital has far been the best compared to others. I know that hospitals like their psych units often get a bad rep, hence the many negative reviews. I gotta praise the cleanliness of this place. The custodians take effort in cleaning at least once a day, such as the rooms and hallways. The staff were nice and caring such as nurses, social workers, doctors, OTs and behavioral health workers. They actually treat patients as actual human beings. My stay was pretty short, but it was the first time I got out stable and content after this stay despite my minimal time here. Thanks

I believe this program benefited me in so many ways, Scott & Alesha went above and beyond in my recovery and i am so grateful to them for hearing my concerns and accommodating them. Overall i give this facility 5/5 stars. Alesha and Scott deserve 8/5 stars for how they ran groups and making sure everyone was comfortable and genuinely caring about everyones recovery!

I had a hip replacement in this facility just now. Super skilled and professional surgeon, great team, welcoming and accommodating personnel. DYC is truly an amazing place.
Our son has thrived here, and has grown and learned a great deal. The staff is very dedicated, and there is even a weekly parents group.
Our son is given responsibilities, and there are expectations and discipline. He loves his position as part of the landscaping crew, and there is a joyful anticipation to transfer to the next phase in Brooklyn.
He has been there for 13 months, and we both agree that it has changed our lives.

They are so wonderful here and I truly feel that treatment was so therapeutic. They have wonderful groups and DBT and make sure your needs are met and accounted for. They were super flexible to grant me time to celebrate my mom's birthday! Shout out to all especially to Melissa, Rena, and Romesa for their help. Dr. Darly along with Dr. Mehta and Dr Preethi were so amazing. Charge nurse Gitu is amazing and make sure we take our meds to get well.
