The great outweigh the frustrations.
The staff in the building are capable, competent, compassionate, patient, and truly wonderful! They helped me unlock so much in my recovery, and I left my 30 day treatment feeling like a truly new man. I feel like Im a version of myself that I didn’t know existed. I have such supreme admiration for the boots on the ground: Marguerite, Kelly, Sheets, and Jeff, to the case managers (shoutout Maggie), to the group leaders like Betty, Scott, Nick, Donald, Kevin, Rob, Ben, to the nursing and RSS staff, the cleaning staff, and kitchen staff. They all contributed in saving my life.
The frustrations stem from the negligence at the top levels of this company. There were several situations, and altercations that put the patients hygeine, safety, and ultimately, sobriety in jeopardy due to extreme budget cuts. The “interim ceo” peacocks around the hallways, and when directly adressed by patients with issues about patients concerns, he smugly passes the buck and ignores said issues. If it werent for these frustrations, this place could be the gold standard for recovery.
For these reasons, I give the staff a 9 out of 5, and the pencil pushers a resounding 0 out of 5.

Tonight I was with a family member in the emergency room and would like to express my thanks to the staff who were not only professional, but were compassionate and kind. I believe the nurse who was there first was Alicia, whose shift was ending at 7p.m. and there was also Joann. Both of these women are a true blessing to any patient that needs emergency treatment.

My father was brought into the ER with a heart issue. The staff were amazing! Everyone worked diligently to stabilize his condition and make him comfortable. His stay was extended a few days and stents were needed. The nursing staff in the step down unit were absolutely incredible. Many thanks to Erin, Nicole, Haley, Jen, Dion, Jess, Amy and Jolyn!

I can to Relevance feeling discouraged and hopeless. Throughout my time here I’ve learned a lot about my self and my ability to overcome. I am so grateful for Relevance! I am actually in a good place in my life. When I first got here I did not think I could be happy but I am. The staff is great. They truly care about me and my success. College Recovery's long term model, and slow integration back into society are what make it stand out from other treatment centers. They don't through throw you out to the street after 30 days like many treatment centers, they will carry you until you learn to carry yourself.

High Focus came into my life at the right time. I was really hurting and dealing with major depression due to some tough life circumstances. High Focus gave me my life back. High Focus has been pivotal to my success in understanding, as well as coping with my mental health. I have gone through the program twice in 5 years and this time around was fantastic. Kellie my clinician was excellent, she was compassionate, understanding, and really pushed me when I desperately needed to be pushed. All the clinicians who ran the groups were fantastic, Karyn, Ashley, Taylor, Kellie, Kendall, you all have made such positive impacts on my life. I can’t recommend high focus enough to those out there who are struggling mentally. I’ve been through Princeton house prior, and High Focus is far and away the best program around.

My father was recently admitted to the hospital and stayed in the Ackerman section on the 4th floor for 7+ days. I have to say that all the staff up there was exceptional. All the nurses, nurse techs, house keeping, nutrition, etc.. Anytime we had a question, they helped get the answer, they attended to my dads needs well. Thank you Matt, Marylen, Julianne, Niko, "Q" not sure how her name is spelled, but she was great! So many more but its hard to remember all the names.

From the very first interaction, their intake and admissions team has been responsive, thorough, and incredibly supportive, ensuring that referrals are handled with the urgency and sensitivity they deserve. The clinical team at Rebirth is exceptional in their use of evidence-based practices, including CBT, DBT, trauma-informed care, and motivational interviewing.
One of the standout features of Rebirth is their integrated approach. I have been going to Stress Care for a long time and they have helped me tremendously! My therapist is the best, she listens to my concerns, teaches me how to cope, gives me "key" words when I need them (to help with my depression and anxiety) and never ever puts me down for what I say. I find her very easy to confide in, sometimes I talk so much but she is very patient and listens until I finish. My doctor is also great! He also listens attentively, always asks how I am doing, any problems and I can ask him anything without being embarrassed. The receptionist always calls beforehand to remind me and confirm my appointments. Overall, this is a great place if you are serious about getting some mental help!

I came to Stress Care after the loss of my baby boy at 25 weeks pregnant. Nicole has helped me tremendously with my depression and anxiety. The book she suggested me to read is an easy read and is very insightful in coping and dealing with my terrible loss.

Was brought in via EMS, admitted for 2 nights and 3 days in the adolescent unit. The hospital staff are incredible, caring and always smiling at all hours. The night neuro team came in while I was having an episode, instead of just making sure I was medically stable they held my hand and reassured me that they were right next to me and I'd be ok- all at 3 in the morning! Shout out to Nurses Kim, Sam, Heather; all the rest of the nurses in Adolescents; Doctor Sarah Yavelberg and the Peds team; and Art Therapist Christiana and Child Life Specialist Jasdeep 🩷🩷! I definitely felt safe, taken care of, listened to, validated and understood during my hospitalization.
Additionally, the place is very clean, aesthetically appealing, and well-designed. There was a bed with a separate curtain, light and tv for parent to stay overnight. Meals can be ordered from an extensive menu and are delivered to rooms. They changed sheets as often as requested, even multiple times a day.
People ask why I insist on traveling the hour distance to New Brunswick for emergencies, and this is why! If there was an option to give more than five stars, RWJ New Brunswick would definitely get it!

I loved being a patient here, most of the staff were very kind and caring, I was a patient on Christmas and the staff made every effort to make sure Christmas was happy for me. My fellow patients were more like friends, I enjoyed the day room and the cafeteria. I miss the staff very much.

I love to thank this place for taking care of my wife ann.She came there because the nursing home isn't have her or didnt know her bipolar meds and after my wife had an operation to get her gallbladder taken out this is where the problem started ans my wife went crazy.But after she went to barnabas health they took good care of my wife to the fullest.Some people have different opinions but this place did that and some.They took very very good care of her and they have there strict policies but requardless this place is the best.Thank you barnabas nurses and doctors for taking full.care of my wife and I give this place 5 full stars.joe

I went to bright harbor healthcare for years for my daughter ( I go there for myself also and I love my therapist) however her experience was sub par and I have some HUGE reservations with her last therapist especially because she tried to talk my daughter into taking HRT behind my my back which she didn’t even want them. I took them out and switched her to preferred and now she sees Megan and WOW she is doing so much better she’s so much more communicative and open her behavior has drastically changed and I feel like I’ve got my child back. I recommend them to anyone that sees that their child is going through a rough time. I even put my seven year old in therapy there for aggressive behavior issues I was convinced she had ODD but a few months of seeing Alex and she is a different person no more freak outs I owe this place the world HIGHLY RECOMMEND

I been a client since 2022 and I would like to leave a 5 review to my counselor Mr RahJohn Rouse . He has been my counselor for almost a year and what a great guy he is. Very easy to talk to and a guy who really cares about his clients recovery and would go the extra step to make you feel comfortable. I would also like to leave another 5 star review to the staff member who whe front window Mr Sadiq Rouses he is very pleasant person and a great guy to talk to he makes the morning very easy since he knows ever client by name he will never have to ask for your number he knows ever one by face and have you checked in and tell you what you need to do before you go to the window.. It's been a year later and MR Rouse is still the man if you come here try and request him if you can. He is a amazing counselor and person

I've been bringing my dad here for the last three years and everyone couldn't be nicer! Audio dept. is great. Front desk, friendly and answered all our questions. Not sure why some negative reviews were given, but I noticed it many were during Covid. Perhaps they were short on
