Commenting as a family member to a patient of PFH, currently! *I had a friend who also went to pfh to get clean about 7 years ago and the change in this place (from 7 years ago to now) is nothing but amazing! The staff are ALL caring, loving, people who want nothing but the best for everyone who steps foot inside this building!* I would suggest before arriving for your stay that you call and verify what items you are able to bring and what items aren't accepted. Ask about possible medications and scripts your doctor may have you on - they do give some medications and you are even allowed to have some items such as hygiene and OTC meds such as Tylenol. I'd recommend having some cash or change as well, they have a vending machine you'll get access to. You might also get to go on a day trip to Walmart, so if you'd like to spend some money at Walmart - you'll need to bring some! 🤍The last thing I can truly suggest is.... arrive with an open mind and an open heart to allow these loving people to help you become a better/healthier version of yourself. Your loved one deserves their love/help to get clean and live a life they are proud of! Get your loved ones back - get with PFH to secure their bed! It'll be worth it 🫶🏼

Hello, my name is Jay/James Parks, I was a patient at this mental health facility 2 times, one for 4 months, and one for 3 weeks. The entire time I was there I was treated greatly, and was allowed to do most things the other reviews are saying they couldn’t. The staff were especially nice, and would only want the best for you. The food was also great, having what tasted like a 5- star meal served every day, and me having a family who has experience with most mental facility’s in Oklahoma, this one surpasses the rest. And people forget that if they/their kid does not find something fair, the grievance forms ARE something they look at. Overall, deserves a 5 star review.

I went here in January-Febuary, they really helped me talk through some of my toughest times, now I'm able to express my feelings and talk to my parents better. I have truly improved and I miss the staff because they were very nice, and really supportive. I miss the people I met and I hope they're doing well, I loved my therapist and she really helped me be able to express myself and feel better. I still have tough times but with the time I spent there, I've learned good skills and I'm able to work through them without falling back into the terrible places I've been before. I truly appreciate everything they did for me and I highly recommend them.

I am a 11 year old boy who went to meadow lake twice, each time it got better. My first time was 4 months - second was 3 weeks. They really cared about my health and well-being. After the birth of my first baby, I had been having some issues and talked to my OB, who sent me to pelvic floor rehab with Aubrey Rimer. I did not even know that pelvic floor rehab existed, but now I am a firm believer! The strategies and exercises she gave me were easy to do, and they helped immensely and immediately! If any new mothers read this, you need to go to pelvic floor rehab. Everybody. Too often women think, "it'll get better eventually," or "this is normal after a baby." I thought that, and I was wrong. As Aubrey put it, "this is COMMON, but not NORMAL." Pelvic floor rehabs helps heal your body after the most dramatic change it will ever undergo, so when you have any issues WHATSOEVER, no matter how minor, with scar tissue from a tear or episiotomy/diastasis recti/bladder/bowels/hip strength, etc., do yourself a favor and go to pelvic floor rehab.

I have been a client at Total Health for several years. I would be there consistently but I am at the mercy of Medicare. When my money runs out I have to wait. What I would like to say is that this establishment has helped me more than all the specialists that I have put together. I am a 71 year old female and have degenerative disc disease, and arthritis in my lower back, left hip and neck. I have to take pain pills and muscle relaxers and they do not help much. I also have vertigo and a balance problem.I have been given pills and shots of cortisone with no lasting affect. I can go in and See Joe Eastman and Stacy Lacy and do the exercises that they give me to do and within several sessions, I go from a 7 or 8 on the pain scale down to a 1 1/2 to a 2. That is a miracle. I just to thank the therapists and the kind staff for helping me.

Its been 5 years since I was a patient here, but my experience was very impactful and I wanted to share now that im an adult. Also want to note my younger sister has been in recent years and shares my positive experiences. Growing up I went inpatient a lot and was very troubled, I felt hopeless and scared. The Calm Center does not just slap a label on kids and teens like some other facilities in the area, the staff are understanding, patient and compassionate people who are relatable in many ways and teach actual coping skills that help in day to day life. I believe forgive me if I get names wrong but Mr. Corey does groups that I still think about to this day that taught me lessons and helped me see different perspectives. Mr. Jimmy and one of the Therapists Spencer were also very kind to me and helped me realize that there are safe, kind, and caring men in the world. Growing up I had a very complicated relationship with my father, and I had talked a bit about that when I was there. Nearly every day I smile or sometimes cry when I recall that at my leaving ceremony Mr. Jimmy told me that any man should be proud to have me as a daughter, I wish I could express how much that has impacted and healed me. Thank you guys for all you do for the youth of Tulsa and beyond!

My husband went there for kratom addiction. He left early but has been sober for 6 months!! I credit them with helping him get over the physical symptoms with care and compassion. Truly life changing!! And his insurance fully covered his stay. Family days were insightful and it's a very nice, interesting property. Id recommend it to anyone facing addiction. Hope is out there, you can do it!!

Valley Hope is amazing! Every person is very caring and make you feel like you can do this. The quality of care, facility, recovery program team are exceptional. They also have aftercare so when you get out you have great options for continued care. They check on you periodically to make sure you are okay. I highly recommend Valley Hope Cushing for anyone with drug or alcohol dependency that want to stop.

Best experience I've had yet at any va, im used to dealing with nashville and this is exceptional in comparison. For example this sweet lady cleaning the 1st floor tonight at 445pm helped me just due to the fact I looked lost and was the sweetest about it. Give this woman a raise. Thank you again
