Coming into Treehouse PDX I was missing the mental tools needed to treat my trauma that led to my drinking. I didn’t know how to cope and realized that I wasn’t like normal people who drink. I drank to fill a hole. However with being in the PHP program, I got a lot of the help I was looking for. With great leadership and counseling they helped me get back to a place where I can heal. Where I can now use these tools and build a life that I can call healthy and be inspired by. The house itself is a lot nicer than what I think people may expect. The Facility itself for me is great! (I don’t go to the gym so I don’t have much to compare to, so it feels top notch to ME). We work out for about 4 hours every weekday. Running, Yoga (aka “Joga”), MMA padwork, pickleball and more. The counseling is amazing. The team definitely makes you feel like you’re getting 1 on 1 care, even considering the amount of clients they have. This is my first and I believe last treatment center I will be attending. But I think this is the BEST. I’ve heard from other people in the sober community who have had more experience than I do and they never fail to tell me about what a privilege I have in being in Treehouse. Thank you to Treehouse Staff, My Brothers and Team! I’m happy to say I’ve made lifelong connections while on this lifelong journey of healing.

My time at treehouse recovery changed my whole trajectory in life. It’s rare that anyone give themselves a chance to hit stop and spend 3 months dedicated to only growth and healing from the past. I will always look at treehouse as the pivotal point when I decided to do what I needed for myself. I can’t stress enough how amazing this program is. I have seen so many men come in different stages of spiritual decomposition and leave glowing and empowered with new purpose and strength. 100/10.

Hooper Detox Center Saved My Life, and Gave me a second chance at life. I entered Hooper on Jan 20th, 2025 and here it is April 13th 2026, and in 7 short days I will be celebrating 15 months clean and sober!!! I have an amazing job through Central City Concern, just moved into my very first apartment that I worked so hard for, and I have an amazing relationship back with my kiddos! I found Crestview for my family member after a friend highly recommended it based on her experiences with it for her family member. My first point of contact was Garrett. As a psych/ER nurse myself, being on the other side of this moment was terrifying. He walked me through everything with empathy, kindness and true compassion. Our experience with Crestview Recovery Center exceeded every expectation we had. The level of care and compassion shown by the entire staff is truly exceptional. They didn't just focus on our daughter's recovery—they genuinely cared about her as a person, treating her with dignity, respect, and kindness every step of the way. What impressed us just as much was the support they provided to our family. Addiction affects everyone who loves the person struggling, and the Crestview team understood that. They were there for us throughout the entire process, offering guidance, encouragement, and reassurance far beyond what we ever expected. I came to Oregon Trail Recovery Services not as someone unfamiliar with addiction treatment, but as someone who has spent more than 15 years working in the behavioral health and substance use treatment field as a counselor, clinical supervisor, administrator, and advocate. It is heartwarming to have a team of dedicated support for those struggling with substance misuse in finding their way back to themselves! In particular Jolena who was able to provide individualized support and reassurance regarding transitioning my loved one into a step down program where he is fully taken care of and supported. This detox facility is amazing. As one who’s relapsed multiple times, the staff here are some of the best I’ve encountered in my journey… They all truly care, are patient, and committed to their clients. The nursing staff is amazing. Special shout out to Alisha ( I hope I am spelling thai correctly girl!). John the clinician is absolutely awesome. He’s always willing to go the extra mile for his clients. The case manager Ashely is especially exceptional. She truly cares and empathizes with everyone. She works extremely hard at making sure, whether one only completes detox or extends to residential, that you are taken care of with medical, work, and aftercare. The lengths she goes to quell one’s concerns while being in there is outstanding and truly deserves this shout out. Jennifer the BHT is also incredibly dedicated to her clients. Treats everyone with love and respect and is always willing to lend an ear to anyone who needs it. She also truly cares about ones continued growth. All the stafIf is exceptional. As long as you have faith and are open to the process, you will not be disappointed. Chase on the nursing staff is one you and truly count on for anything. If missed anyone I truly apologize. You all will hold a special place in my heart for all your dedicated hard work. Please trust this facility and take the leap of faith for yourself.

The Recovery Village saved my life! I was there in 2024, the staff were so helpful and very empathetic. I had never been to rehab before, and it was the best experience for me. They focus on the underlying issues of why you use substances to numb. I rate the experience 10 out of 10 and have recommended it to other friends that have family members that struggle with addiction. It was bittersweet when I left after 45 days, as I felt very safe there. I am 2 years and 2 months clean from pain meds and have no desire to take them again. Thank you to all the staff!

This place made a big difference for my child, and that is all that really matters to me. I will say, they could have HUGE improvements in parent involvement, parent education, and family therapy. At times, they seemed almost anti- parent, which seems to me to be a strange approach to recovery. My ex and I were left on completely different pages as to next steps for our child. They should take a note from Clementine which has great support for parents. But, my child is doing well, and I'm thankful.

Wanted to thank the staff and everyone who was in here at the same time as me. I didn't come here entirely on my own free will, but because I was kind of cornered into it by my therapist. And I wasn't happy about putting my life on hold to be here. But now I see why she really wanted me to go. I had no previous experience with programs like this and didn't know what to expect. And you can bet I doubted everything every step of the way. I still do in some areas. But the longer I was there, the more I saw a difference and realized why things are done the way they are. I got a lot out of the program in the relatively short time I was there and have seen a big difference in my eating and thinking. And also in my physical health and brain. My memory has really noticeably improved and so has how I feel physically. And I've felt so much calmer and happier compared to before I went in. Turns out eating consistently helps you not feel like you're in fight or flight all the time, who would have thought haha.

I spent a lot of time researching treatment programs. I ultimately chose Center For Discovery because I felt comfortable with the person I spoke to on the phone and because they had open spots available right away. My inner critic said "Why do they have open spots? Is no one going to this place?" The answer is that lots of people are going to this place! And those are the people I spent every day with for the last three months. Going in, I wasn't sure what attending treatment would be like (it's kind of like hanging out with people who understand you, eating meals together, processing feelings, and working on goals) or where treatment would be (it's in a big building with other businesses) or how it would feel to share my inner most thoughts about food, weight, and body with others (it is scary, but also freeing!) or who would be there (lots of different people, ages, stages in life, gender identities, fashion choices and hobbies HA!) Basically, I had a lot of questions going in and I wasn't sure this would be worth my time/energy/money/family stress/etc. It sounds cheesy, but what I found was so much more than I could have imagined for myself. I will miss all the staff and friends I made. I will miss all the games we played at meals and all the inside jokes and crying from emotions but also crying from laughing so hard. Thank you to Paige, Ailis, Alana, Kim, and Jodi for being part of my journey and helping me see the best parts of me.

To anyone considering coming here for treatment - do it. The other reviews posted during COVID are not representative of how the facility is now (not to mention they have never put anyone into "quarantine," it's not even that kind of facility). It's not perfect, nothing is, but this program, the staff, and the others in program with me changed my life. But, it took time. Plus, there are tons of post program support. I still miss the connection I felt with everyone there. It will be what you make of it, so give it a shot and embrace it. It's worth it.

PEOPLE stop leaving bad reviews bc of the hospital, this isn't the hospital it's a group therapy organization that's run out of the hospital. Adapt+ is by far and large one of the greatest group therapy organizations I have ever been in. They are a hybrid IOP and PHP organization, providing both scheduled group therapy and partial hospitalization. All of the counselors and psyciatrists are compassionate, understanding, knowledgeable, and professional. They are one of the only programs I have been in where feedback was given and actually taken into consideration and eventually put into place. I really cannot recommend this place enough, they are truly amazing. People wonder why mental health is so bad in this country. I can confidently say that Adapt+ is not contributing, instead choosing consistently effective mental health treatment over money.

Im only giving 5 stars because the staff here is nice and they listen well and always help out when my husband has stomach episodes. My husband and i came in again today first time in a few months he's gotten sick like this, he has a cancerous cyst in his esophagus that causes issues with his stomach so he’s on a special diet until we find out what triggers him. Sometimes he eats something that sets him off and he ends up puking and dry heaving until he cant stand and he can’t keep any fluids down so i bring him here to get an IV with fluids so he doesn't dehydrate! The doctors, the nurses, the medical assistants, everyone here is wonderful they always listen to me and do great with him. What saddens me is today i was in the waiting room with him and there was a hand full of people staring at him while he was puking and dry heaving, and making comments and telling people not to sit next to us because they thought he was contagious even though i had clarified he is not and that its a pre existing condition. It became so uncomfortable to the point i wheeled my husband into the hallway and waited there and stood in front of him so no one could stare. Everyone in the waiting room didn't even show signs of being sick, no one was coughing or puking or pale or had any visible sickness. They all just sat around on their phones chit chatting and staring at my husband and making comments, and half of them got into a room before my husband who is in agonizing pain. One of the women in there kept announcing that she had cancer, and was even being disrespectful to the staff, and talking down of the staff saying no one here knows how to do their job, she offered me these odd candies for my husband and I politely turned her down and she immediately caught an attitude. Y’all need to grow up. Im sure if you were in my husbands position or my position you wouldn’t enjoy that either. So folks think before you speak.

I can’t say enough good things about Michael Crose. Going through a DUI intake isn’t exactly something you look forward to, but Michael made the experience feel human. From the start, he was easy to talk to; genuine, respectful, and clearly someone who cares about people, not just paperwork. He made me feel comfortable, never judged, and even found ways to bring some lightness into a heavy situation. It might sound small, but when we starting going off about sparkling water he mentioned his love for watermelon Waterloo, felt like I was talking to a real person, not just a counselor checking boxes. He treats you with compassion and makes sure you understand every step of the process. Keep kicking ass, and thanks for making something I thought was going to be stressful.. not!

Staff was great, counselors have been there before and understand addiction on a personal level, food was good. Classes every day, meetings half the week. Only complaint would be strict policy on phone usage, I understand the reasoning behind it but still frustrating. If you are respectful and mindful you won't have issues with most guests but 85% of the guests while I was there are ex cons so some can be a little rigid and immature in their thinking. If you really want to recover and focus on yourself this is a good place to do it.
