I graduated the one year program on March 8th of 2026. It was at this campus that I was given a safe place to dive deeper into God's Word and my own heart and to figure out why I struggled with the things I did. After struggling with addiction for 12 years, I needed somewhere I could go to get away and to focus solely on my self and ultimately God. A place where God could open up the places of my heart that I has hidden for so long and tried to cover up but that needed gently dealt with. In the heart of the Willamette Valley, right in the middle of a sheep field God met me and delivered me from 12 years of life controlling issues. Drug addiction, technology addiction, gambling, money, women I tried for years to distrsct myself up with anything I thought would make me feel better. But here at Shedd God showed me, He is the only one who can heal me. And He deeply loves me. In Him I have a Healer, I have a Friend, I have a Saviour, and I have a loving Father, who cares for me with a love far beyond my comprehension, and so do you. The Willamette Valley men's campus is full of caring staff from the director at the top, down to the interns on the ground level who all deeply care for and love every person that walks through the door and it is felt when you arrive. I am so grateful God brought me to Teen Challenge because if I had not come here I would still be out there on the streets, I wpuld not have a relationship with my son, my family or any of my friends. Patients get to decide what they want to eat. There is a menu. I was woken up by a nurse to attend an arts and crafts group. A Catholic priest came in my room and blessed me with oil against my will. He did not ask me if I wanted to be blessed. He just did it. They have a covered outside area for people that want to smoke. Patients are given cigarettes by the nurses. They have a gym but it's not great. When I visited a friend here they had a T.V. room. I didn't notice it when I was staying there. Maybe it was a different unit. My only complaint is that it is hard to get into this place because of the Linn County crisis team are mentally retarded or something. Even when I was pregnant and attempted suicide they refused to hospitalize me to protect the baby. However, they would be glad to give me the phone number to a clinic where I could kill it. He is uncaring, has no empathy, and seems to derive pleasure on singling a person out within the group to pick on. He was horrible to me. He is also new at his job but I don't feel this can be used as an excuse for his apathetic behavior. I am troubled that I shared personal information with him because he took what I told him in confidence and used it against me. He gives you inaccurate information about very important things. So if you go to this treatment center, beware of Anthony! I can't say a bad thing about anyone else. The hub staff is great, and they've got some really good instructors there too. The Teen Challenge campus in Willamette Valley changed my life. I graduated the one year program on March 8th of 2026. It was at this campus that I was given a safe place to dive deeper into God's Word and my own heart and to figure out why I struggled with the things I did. After struggling with addiction for 12 years, I needed somewhere I could go to get away and to focus solely on my self and ultimately God. A place where God could open up the places of my heart that I has hidden for so long and tried to cover up but that needed gently dealt with. In the heart of the Willamette Valley, right in the middle of a sheep field God met me and delivered me from 12 years of life controlling issues. Drug addiction, technology addiction, gambling, money, women I tried for years to distrsct myself up with anything I thought would make me feel better. But here at Shedd God showed me, He is the only one who can heal me. And He deeply loves me. In Him I have a Healer, I have a Friend, I have a Saviour, and I have a loving Father, who cares for me with a love far beyond my comprehension, and so do you. The Willamette Valley men's campus is full of caring staff from the director at the top, down to the interns on the ground level who all deeply care for and love every person that walks through the door and it is felt when you arrive. I am so grateful God brought me to Teen Challenge because if I had not come here I would still be out there on the streets, I wpuld not have a relationship with my son, my family or any of my friends. But today I have a hope that is not dependant upon my circumstances but a hope that is rooted in a Creator who loved me enough to die for my sins. And He has empowered me to live a life of freedom.

Was a great place to get help and learn about REBT therapy back in early 90's. I was in there with Larry Hagman shortly after he lost his role on Dallas. Sally was a great phycologist. She had studied under Albert Ellis. It was an old beautiful mansion that had strict rules and regiments including strict diets (mine was hypoglycemic). The food was great! After searching for help during a mental health crisis, the Samaritan PHP (Partial Hospitalization Program) ended up being the only place able to help me. I was brought into their three-week program, and I couldn't be happier with how it went. I felt thoroughly supported and appreciated, I learned so much and grew even more. The staff members (Terri, Lauren, Daryl, Erin, Brian) were all absolutely WONDERFUL folks and so helpful in my mental health journey. If you're in an emotional crisis or need more help than you're getting, consider Samaritan PHP. Not everyone will get as much as I did out of it, but I really think more folks should give it a go! You never know how much you'll grow <3

I slept the entire time because of the medicine they put me on. They have a free phone that patients can use. The food is great! Patients get to decide what they want to eat. There is a menu. I was woken up by a nurse to attend an arts and crafts group. A Catholic priest came in my room and blessed me with oil against my will. He did not ask me if I wanted to be blessed. He just did it. They have a covered outside area for people that want to smoke. Patients are given cigarettes by the nurses. They have a gym but it's not great. When I visited a friend here they had a T.V. room. I didn't notice it when I was staying there. Maybe it was a different unit. My only complaint is that it is hard to get into this place because of the Linn County crisis team are mentally retarded or something. Even when I was pregnant and attempted suicide they refused to hospitalize me to protect the baby. However, they would be glad to give me the phone number to a clinic where I could kill it. Saves them money I guess if there mentally ill pregnant patients just have abortions. Linn County Mental Health is evil.

I came to Oregon Trail Recovery Services not as someone unfamiliar with addiction treatment, but as someone who has spent more than 15 years working in the behavioral health and substance use treatment field as a counselor, clinical supervisor, administrator, and advocate. That background gave me a unique perspective. I know what quality treatment looks like. I know the standards. I know the difference between simply providing services and truly helping people heal. When I arrived, I was also a man who had experienced the devastating consequences of addiction firsthand. I had lost pieces of my life that mattered most, including precious time with my children. I entered treatment humbled, broken, and determined to rebuild my life one day at a time. Oregon Trail Recovery has exceeded every expectation I had. The greatest strength of this program is not simply its curriculum or structure—it's the people. Every single day, I have been met with kindness, compassion, encouragement, and accountability. The staff have an incredible ability to challenge me while never making me feel judged. They have celebrated my victories, helped me through difficult moments, listened when I needed someone to hear me, and reminded me that recovery is possible even on the days when I questioned myself. What stands out to me most is that I have never felt like just another client. I have felt seen as a person. The staff genuinely care about each individual's success, and that care is reflected in the countless small moments that often go unnoticed—checking in after a difficult group, offering words of encouragement, celebrating milestones, laughing together, and creating an atmosphere where healing feels possible. As someone who has supervised treatment programs myself, I pay close attention to culture, professionalism, and clinical quality. Oregon Trail has created something special. Their staff consistently demonstrate integrity, empathy, patience, and clinical competence. They don't simply teach recovery—they model it through the way they treat people. Throughout my time here, I have participated in intensive treatment, recovery planning, peer support, 12-step work, parenting education, relapse prevention, and ongoing clinical services. More importantly, I have begun rebuilding my confidence, my character, and my hope. The tools I am learning here will continue to shape my recovery long after I leave this program. This experience has also reignited my passion for the behavioral health profession. Rather than allowing my relapse to define me, Oregon Trail Recovery has helped remind me why I dedicated my life to serving others in the first place. It has given me renewed purpose and strengthened my commitment to continue my own recovery while working toward restoring my professional credentials. Recovery is about so much more than abstinence. It is about learning to live honestly, reconnecting with yourself, repairing relationships, finding community, and believing that your future can be different from your past. Oregon Trail Recovery is helping me do exactly that. Entered WFC on July 25th 2021 and I had the best experiences even during covid they kept the place running and my treatment plan was on spot I learned a lot about myself and I'm proud to say I graduated at 61 days and continuing in IOP. Nearly the entire crew of staff consisted of people that actually care and take pride in being the people put in place to help these women, and have a genuine desire to help patients navigate through their individual recovery journey however they can. The best part, hands down, was getting to be witness to so many moms and children be reunited! It was so beautiful and inspiring to see, and this is an event happening on the regular at this place. The kind of experience I had here and what the classes/people teaching the classes gave me are what help me every day achieve a life I thought was out of my capability to achieve not long ago. They provided me with what turned out to be a highly effective foundation to succeed in living life sober, healthy, and truly happy. I spent 48 days here and would recommend it to anyone as long as they do not get Anthony as their counselor. He is uncaring, has no empathy, and seems to derive pleasure on singling a person out within the group to pick on. He was horrible to me. He is also new at his job but I don't feel this can be used as an excuse for his apathetic behavior. I am troubled that I shared personal information with him because he took what I told him in confidence and used it against me. He gives you inaccurate information about very important things. So if you go to this treatment center, beware of Anthony! I can't say a bad thing about anyone else. The hub staff is great, and they've got some really good instructors there too. I love the staff and the program but my group with Anthony at the helm was not only not helpful but hurtful. Everything and Everyone else deserves an A plus.

Another Chance is hands down the best treatment center I have been to. I was on fetti and meth and had been homeless for years. The first day I got there they got me into a sober living house and made me feel welcome. All of the staff is great and they have a very high success rate.
