It's a unique place to work with so many caring people with lots of recovery stories themselves and hearts that understand. I never see job postings in Afton, OK though? Is it only outpatient? My son has been suffering from severe mental issues for the past 3 years. None of the “professional” help I’ve sought out helped until I took him to GLMHC. They gave him the counselling and medication needed to overcome many of his problems. It’s still a work in progress, but he’s much better now. Just wanted to say thank you to the GLMHC team!

Beautiful facility. Friendly staff and counselors. AMAZING food. The only thing negative I would have to say is it’s a very expensive program for just 30 days. They give you a lot of freedom, which can be a good or bad thing, depending on how bad you really want to get sober. You can force a horse to the river, but you can’t make it drink. Other than that, I had a great experience here.

No place is perfect. I have been going here for 12 months now and I have been clean for 11months. It tooke a month to get off everything, but I have. It's been wonderful, my family is shocked and so happy how well I am doing. My kids are starting to trust me again. Everyone says I am starting to at like the old me that they haven't seen in a long time. I wish someone would have told me about this sooner. I have had some issues with the drug screens coming back positive 3 times when I have been clean and was not using. One of them got dropped because the confirmation came back negative, so that was great but the other 2 was contaminated because I haven't used one thing since 6/19/23.
This was hard to deal with because How can u fix a drug screen that comes back dirty when u are clean..so I did lose my take homes for a month which sucked. But you know what It's a hell of a lot better then where I was before. I love who I am now I am working really hard on my recovery and just gotta keep doing the right thing even when things don't go ur way. If you want a change it is so able and this place has really saved my life and my relationship with my kids, and family.

Went to the ER for pain that was gallbladder. I was treated quickly and had surgery the next morning. Every department was amazing. All the doctors were very good about explaining what was going on. The nurses and CNA’s went above and beyond. So thankful for their care.

We tried over 50 facilities for this patient and Brookhaven is the only one who could treat brain injury, mental health issues AND was willing to work with Medicaid. The case manager was very helpful and caring. Unfortunately Medicaid would not fund but I’m so grateful for the help!

I was in the program in 2019 graduated in December 2019. My experience there was amazing. The best rehab I have ever been to. It's the one that helped me stay sober and the therapy they offered there helped me heal from my trauma. I am currently 4 years clean from iv use of meth have all my kids. It was very much a tough love facility, which is the only way to get through to me. I didn't have any problems personally with the staff (other than my big personality clashing with staff's big personalities at times), they were all very nice to me. But they don't take no shit either, so don't pick this place trying to stir up trouble. You will not get along well. The kitchen staff is SO loving, I wish I was able to eat more while I was there!! It always looked so delicious and had huge helpings. I like this facility out of all other 7 times I've been elsewhere, because it is a dual diagnosis. They really give you curriculum that helps you to understand why we think and are this way, rather than the basic curriculum. Thank you all staff for being a helpful stepping stone in my story.

Love them. Started just over a year ago, they set me up with an amazing counselor and worked around my schedule to make appointments. My care team was amazing and everyone was super helpful. I stopped going a few months ago and they reached out making sure I was alright and offered to help get me set up again if I wanted. I don’t currently need their services but if I ever do I will definitely go back.

I have had nothing but a good experience since starting 3 years or so ago. Myself and my family have used several different services, all of which were positive experiences.
Ive had a care tem and they are the best. They have kept track of me and reached out routinely. I'm very grateful for their services.
I just can't rave enough.
If ever there was an issue as they too are human and suffer life as we do. Who knows what the reason, but I always treated everyone with kindness ( I think) and showed them understanding, knowing it's a high pressure job with difficult people struggling with life. For all the many who have been a part of all of our treatments, we thank you. 🙏

Absolutely love the children's therapy here. I was skeptical about coming here at first because I hear people say negative things about FCS a lot. But I am really glad we gave it a chance. My child goes here for therapy related to emotions, ADHD, ODD, etc. Both people who work with my child (therapist and case manager) are absolutely wonderful and go out of their way to make sure we are all okay and help us anyway they can. Extremely thankful and happy here.
