Other Forms of Payment

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

Medical detox is the process of ridding the body of addictive substances in a medically supervised setting. If you become chemically dependent on a substance like alcohol, opioids, or benzodiazepines (like Xanax or Ativan), quitting abruptly can cause uncomfortable or even dangerous side effects. Licensed medical professionals ensure the process goes as safely and comfortably as possible while monitoring you 24/7 and administering any required medications,

Inpatient rehabs feature intensive clinical supervision and a highly structured and supportive environment, meaning they are especially well suited for clients in early recovery and those at risk of relapse. Clients reside at the treatment facility and engage in various therapeutic sessions throughout the day, including addiction counseling and recovery-focused life skills training. Many programs also offer evidence-based complementary therapies, such as meditation and massage.

Designed for individuals who don't require round-the-clock care, a partial hospitalization program (PHP) is a form of outpatient care with a higher level of support. PHP treatment can be an alternative to inpatient hospitalization or a step-down option. With daily sessions lasting 6 to 8 hours, up to 5 days a week, a partial hospitalization program may offer medication management, relapse prevention techniques, and behavioral therapy interventions. PHP treatment can be fully or partially covered by insurance.

Clients enrolled in an intensive outpatient program (IOP) travel to treatment centers for specialized care multiple times per week. Intensive outpatient treatment allows clients to receive robust care while continuing to live at home. Most programs require between nine and 20 treatment hours per week, with the frequency and intensive of sessions decreasing as clients stabilize. Services generally include a combination of addiction counseling, medication assisted treatment (MAT), recovery-focused life skills training, and holistic therapies.

Outpatient rehab enables clients to receive addiction treatment while continuing to work and reside at home. Many programs offer evening, night, and weekend services so that clients may receive treatment on their own schedule. Outpatient treatment modalities typically include addiction counseling, recovery-focused life skills training, and/or medication assisted treatment (MAT). Many programs also provide step-down care, including partial hospitalization (PHP), intensive outpatient (IOP), and standard outpatient services, to align with clients' evolving needs.

Aftercare, which is sometimes referred to as continuing care or relapse prevention, is a type of structured care meant to help you continue with the progress you've made after completing an addiction treatment program. Most of the time, you'll continue receiving support after a treatment program by partnering with their case managers and staff to identify and access the resources you need to remain sober.

Alcoholism is a pattern of alcohol use that involves continued drinking even when it causes problems. Alcoholism is also characterized by a physical dependence on alcohol, which causes the body to experience withdrawal symptoms when alcohol is not present. Due to this physical dependence, medically-supervised detox is often necessary to safely recover from alcoholism. Alcohol rehab in Georgia offers a three-step process of detox, rehab, and maintenance to help individuals recover from alcohol addiction.

A quality drug rehab in Georgia can help you overcome addiction. This environment is designed to help you address the complex issues contributing to drug dependence. The goal of treatment is to give you the tools you need to make a full recovery.

Addiction treatment programs in Georgia help individuals to address substance abuse problems. With various programs available, including outpatient, inpatient, and partial hospitalization programs, you can find the right level of care for your specific needs. You can generally expect drug and alcohol rehab to incorporate evidence-based therapies, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), skills training, recovery meetings, and mindfulness-based therapy. When combined, these interventions can successfully help you overcome addiction and continue to enjoy long-term mental health.

In Georgia, specialized dual-diagnosis addiction treatment programs address co-occurring substance use disorders and mental health conditions. Care levels include outpatient, inpatient, and partial hospitalization. Therapies like cognitive behavioral therapy, or dialectical behavioral therapy, equine therapy, mindfulness-based therapy, skills training, and recovery groups — like 12-step — support you in achieving sobriety and sustaining recovery. Developing the tools to establish a solid support system (or strengthen an existing one) will also increase your chances of long-term recovery success.

Programs

Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.

Serving in the military is both mentally and physically challenging, and can result in trauma that persists even after combat ends. Military programs are tailored to the specific and often complex needs of active duty personnel, veterans, and military families. Clients often access these programs through the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).

Men face specific challenges and concerns when seeking addiction treatment. Gender-specific recovery programs help them tackle these issues head-on in an environment that's focused, targeted, and distraction-free. It also gives them the opportunity to connect with and learn from other men who have been through a similar journey and can offer support for the next step.

Rehabs for women provide a safe, nurturing space for female clients to heal. These treatment programs consider the specific obstacles that women can face during recovery and place a special emphasis on mental, social, physical, and reproductive health. They explore how each woman's experience has shaped the trajectory of their substance use, addressing issues such as sexual abuse and past trauma.

Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.

They commit insurance fraud and practice open discrimination. Do not be fooled. Upon entry I was told my wife of 4 yrs could also enter the php program for addiction while in participated in mental (separate programs) only to be told later that established couples are not allowed: only couples whom meet and start dating or hooking up are allowed. In fact, they are allowed in the same housing. Additionally, they have billed my insurance $40,000 for treatment and therapy I have NOT received and have been BEGGING for in specifity for 3 out of the 4 weeks I have been here. Specifically: I have made 9 total direct, in person requests for direct therapy sessions with a therapist AND medication management having been experiencing severe symptoms and reactions to medications they initially prescribed all to be answered with either "we don't have time right now" or "we don't have the staff to do so". Meanwhile, their notations state falsely that I've spoken to staff members I've never met, sometimes on days or times I wasn't even AT the facility, and that medications and therapy were fine and being properly received. My symptoms were so bad that an outside clinic I went to wanted to send me to the emergency room to have a brain scan and not only did serenity Grove staff still refuse to place in front of someone to discuss this issue but told me that it was against the programs policy for me to see ANY outside medical or mental health providers ever. They state that whole in PHP they provide housing and food; also false. Rarely minor amounts of food will come from food banks and churches, nothing else is provided and they start accruing past due weekly rent on you while not even allowing you to seek employment until after 6 weeks, placing you in near crippling debt by the time you are allowed to go find a job which you have to do on your own and only AFTER the hours of "group" therapy which are Monday through Friday 9am to 4pm and you cannot leave the property at all on Mondays and Thursdays. What job are you supposed to find with those hours to pay this accured debt? Insurance pays them for housing as well, meaning they state to insurance that you aren't being obligated for such yourself. "Groups" on the mental health side consist literally of listening to elevator music while reflecting in silence on your goals. Do. Not. Be. Fooled, this place is all about one thing and one thing alone: your money and the money your insurance company has. That's it. I will say, however, on the addiction side there are 3 AMAZING, loving women whom have no authority in the program whatsoever thst work as C.A.C.'s and if they were the ones managing this program ot woukd be acceptional. Cathy, LALA and Ms Alyssa are the kindest women I will ever meet in recovery and are exceedingly dedicated to helping people while their overall facility program and the selerste mental health program as a whole is a scam.
