I couldn't be more happy and satisfied with the entire staff at the Bismarck VA Clinic. I was treated with patience, kindness, and dignity and everybody I interacted with was extremely helpful. It's never fun to go to the clinic, but the genuine concern and care I received was exceptional.

Michelle was absolutely wonderful on the phone! I called for my daughter who needed some assistance, and she was very knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable talking about something which is usually uncomfortable to speak about. She made sure to take the time to really understand what we needed. She was very patient, comforting, and adequate with her assistance! I definitely recommend anyone to go here.

Awesome place….. great staff…. Great resources. Very educational! They take really good care of you and make sure your aftercare is set up and that you are safe when leaving. The PHP IOP program is a Godsend. There's always room for improvement within any treatment center, but this program has a lot of areas in which perfectly cater to those in Recovery who have a strong desire to dramatically change their lives. The program director goes above and beyond to hop in and aid and assist no matter what is asked of them. Clients have even witnessed them having to do the duties of the house manager when extra help was needed. Not even tryna gas them up but its rare that you'll find that, I certainly haven't seen too many other programs that are able to provide the space to thrive like PSJ does.
My nurse is also an above average employee, they went to bat for me when I was struggling with personal issues. And my counselor has their own experience with battling the things that plague our community and when they interact with clients they do so from a place of Love while still maintaining their professional boundaries.
Im not saying this program is perfect by any means, but I can attest to Prairie St John's being a major component of saving my life this year.

Patty or Patti, not sure which. Gave me someone to talk to about what was happening. She's the only reason I knew I could check myself into detox for more than 24hrs and the only reason I saw a path outside of waiting to die.

This place saved me. They took the time to listen to me, even when I screamed at them because I was having a hard time expressing my emotions and trauma. They never seemed impatient with me and staff would stay with me as long as I needed. They take the time to get to know you and they ask you before putting you on new medications. They took us on fun outings and gave us each our own music player. We even got to pick the music they put on it! They treated us like real people, not just something they were stuck dealing with until their shifts ended like other facilities I was at. I used to try ending my life all the time before going there. After leaving, I never attempted again. Its been two years since I was there and I will always be greatful for everything they had done for me.

One of the best, if not the best staff member there. He was taken his time no matter what he was doing. And I would have a full conversation with me. And everything he told me click in had, I mean, you had students there that were studying for their Finals. they couldn't hold a candle to the African! I would ask him questions and everything he would tell me I would do. Am my life turned out better because of it and that would be long. Term information and short-term information I followed you all the directions and it always worked. I believe you wore glasses. But I do remember he was from africa working the night shift. I mean, all these people pain a $150000 to go to school. And this man had the answers just by asking him. I'm so thankful i'm at him. He was on the federal side when I was there.

It is a positive thing for the community to have a place like Center Inc. For those who have struggled with the law or addiction, it provides a nice buffer between them and the community. While at the same time allowing those individuals a chance to reentered society in a slow and structured pace. The ability to obtain employment and be a productive member of society while finishing off a specific court issued sentence, is very valuable to everyone within that community.

Went to the walk-in clinic today expecting at least a 40 minute wait. I waited maybe 15 minutes; total care didn’t take 2 hours which included seeing the nurse, doctor, x-rays, a Covid shot, and receiving a prescription. I was thoroughly impressed with the wonderful care I received! This may not always be the norm but I truly appreciate all the VA does for us veterans!

Recently went in for a new patient visit and we were pleasantly surprised with how attentive and kind everyone was. We truly felt that they care about the needs of the patient. We have not yet received any treatment here, but the people we met put us at ease and took time with us to discuss things and answer any questions. So far they have exceeded our expectations and we appreciate the kindness and attentiveness.

This place is wonderful! The Village's First Step Recovery program, for people whom are struggling with addiction, is compromised of PHP for people who have been abusing drugs/alcohol who need help to overcome, Intensive Outpatient so they might continue in recovery along with aftercare groups weekly. The staff REALLY do care, Roxann is amazing! With a wonderful perspective, being a NON-addict on how addiction works & the stark reality of temptation & how difficult it can be to stop. You will work through life problems with specific sets of skills dealing with your particular issues & are allowed the time to process & release with both a counselor & fellow peers with similar struggles. This could be JUST the right fit for you. I hope your willing to try it out if need be. 😁☺😌
