My daughter attended this facility through high school until she graduated. All in all a positive experience. She liked it there. Definitely had some issues that required disciplinary action but nothing too harsh. They were a bit understaffed for therapists at the time to the point where the then-director became my daughter's therapist. Aside from that, no real complaints. Would recommend.

My personal experience: I was 16 when I went and I have to admit my behavior was definitely different when I got out. It taught me discipline and respect for myself and others. I learned to make decisions starting from personal responsibility to educational opportunities. I definitely recommend this place.
I fought back the first few weeks and maybe even months but it’s like a wild horse who had trauma, they are eventually going to learn and it’s going to take time.
I recommend! I would go back for the discipline and scheduled order they have.

I went to Falcon as I was struggling with addiction and depression. Although it was tough some moments (as life is) being there was such a healing experience. The staff was so genuine and I made friends I still keep in contact with to this day. I graduated the program and received my diploma with the help of the teachers there. I developed PTSD from being here in 2022. Dangerous place, constant fights. A staff member from its sister facility, Lava Heights academy was arrested for raping girls in the bathroom. that staff also came to falcon ocassionally. Its other previosu sister school, Red rock canyon school, was shut down after abuse and riots. Staff who were originally at red rock came to falcon and lava, continuong the cycle of abuse. I flew in from North Carolina, Billie made the entire process very easy. Upon arrival at Salt Lake International, her transport team was very professional and greeted me at the arrivals hall.
When I arrived, the nurses seamlessly checked me in. I was given a thorough medical check before being able to lay down on a very comfortable bed! My stay was short (about six days), but the staff were professional and very friendly. I couldn’t asked for a more relaxed stay, thank you to the amazing staff!

I was torn between the Sheridan and the grand America, They had nothing but no vacancy, So Nexstep came in clutch last last second, They take in 24/7 and greet you at the door with welcome arms and Valume, They staff is absolutely stunning, Don't hesitate one bit for room service, This is hands down one of the best 5 day staycations I’ve ever had the fortune of encountering, I plan on coming here next year for my park city skiing trip.

My adopted daughters started really struggling once they hit their teen years and although they had great therapists at home, this was not sufficient for their struggles. Their life choices were escalating into scary situations and it was hard to consider out of home therapy placement. I'm so thankful I found Youth Cares as they truly care about children and getting to the root cause of their struggles. They taught my daughters really great DBT coping skills that will help them throughout life. My girls were treated with care and respect while in treatment. The therapists and staff are really great and made such a huge difference for our family. I want to speak to all the parents who believe that when our children make mistakes, they can never be the same again. I want you to look at these photos of Roberto, a boy who was programmed to be a champion since the womb but whose adolescence and life experiences led him to make his own decisions, though not always the right ones.
With the help of Youth Care and the full support of my husband, his siblings, and myself, his mother, he was able to find himself again. ♥️ We are also deeply grateful to the other families who were going through the same struggles and, by sharing their stories, helped us support each other.
Thanks to Youth Care’s guidance, our perseverance, and Roberto’s wise decision, he has now been able to change his life or maybe return to the one that was always there since the day he was born.
Is it worth it? Absolutely, more than you can imagine.
Take the step. For us, the greatest gift Youth Care gave us was communication. We didn’t have it at the beginning but we eventually found it and with it came real change.
A piece of advice: when they call you for the enrollment process, ask to attend the therapy sessions, especially the group ones. I miss them deeply.

Utah Trauma has made a lasting impact on how I see myself and the way I treat the world. The amount of knowledge I gained from my stay at this treatment center is unreal.
My initial intention when I landed at Utah Trauma was to create a much needed foundation I could grow from. Im writing this 2 weeks into the real world so the afterglow is still very strong from everything I gained from my experience at this house. I expected a very surface level of foundation than what I actually have now. I was more seeking a physical security rather than the emotional structure I now have. I feel more confident shaping my future with the tools I learned at Utah Trauma than I ever planned.
Fully immersing myself into the world of self growth that this place had to offer opened my eyes to more truths about my past than I really imagined. Jumping into an inpatient treatment center has a ton of variables. The way this house is setup makes for so much more actual real world life lessons than the previous program I sat thru. I always felt a true level of compassion from the people that ran Utah Trauma during my stay no matter how hard it was for me to face whatever truth I was being presented.
I couldn't have asked for more from this treatment facility. No matter the drama within the clients there was always a deep level of respect for how each patient felt about what was happening within the culture and I cant emphasize this enough. It's difficult to see passed the emotional lenses when drama is faced head on.

I feel like I would have been lost without there help. They are the best they walk you through in every detail the skills with you tell you get them down. I felt very scared that I was gonna relapse and end up back at the hospital but they showed me it was possible and having family notice the change is good but I still feel so horrible is still hard to tell if I am ready to finish and move on but I will say that this place makes me feel so safe and I struggle with my employer and you guys were able to get them to understand better the schedule even though I struggle with them for wednesdays cause sometimes I'm not out early enough to make it in time but i am so grateful cause it's been 2 years I was fighting postpartum depression I've been through so much all at once and I tried therapy and it just wasn't working and different medications and nothing and tried cbd oils and nothing and supplements and nothing.everyone is so nice and I feel so safe when I come here and my son used to cry once I pulled him out of the car seat and now I'm like do u want to go play with your friends and he didn't cry this time around which was great. I'd reccomend it especially for my daughter cause I feel down feel like she's going through it and she pulls me with her hopefully one day she will. Thank you all for what you do you guys know how to get the tears out so we're able to heal and feel better and what ever is upsetting us at the moment you guys listen without judging us and I appreciate it

I would recommend Serenity in Riverton to any mom struggling with depression, anxiety, or OCD. All of the therapists there are very caring and want their clients to know how amazing they are and want them to feel better. I participated in the OCD/anxiety IOP, and had a great experience. Being surrounded by other moms who were also struggling was so empowering as we learned coping skills for OCD and how to deal with it head on. The child care that is provided during IOP was wonderful and my child loved going there. Morgan Slade, is one of the therapists there, and I would recommend her to any mom that needs OCD treatment. I have seen many therapists in the past, but from my first consult with Morgan, I could tell she was very caring and compassionate for her clients and wanted them to succeed. Honestly, Serenity helped me get through one of the hardest years and I am so grateful for that. It is an amazing healing center for moms.

I have nothing but good things to say about Steps Recovery center in St. George. These people really do care about you, you aren't treated as just another client. I absolutely love my experience with valley mental health, they were always so reliable and so patient and understanding. Anytime anyone around me mentions therapy I recommend this place. Nicole and Shelly both always go above and beyond and there’s never been a time where I’ve felt like they haven’t actually cared. I have been involved with Valley Behavioral health for a little over 2 years now. When I started treatment for drug addiction I was lost and all over the place as far as mental health and my day to day life in general. Thanks to the staff and a couple therapists, as well as my fellow peers that suffer with the disease of addiction. Matr isnt a ordinary rehab program ..although 12 step program is in the curriculum it is a small portion of the rehabilitation process ...the staff and counselors have all been patients or in recovery themselves. When first walking thru the door u feel as if u just got to ur favorite aunt or relatives house u would visit yearly..you know the ones who never judged u but always made sure u knew when u were *€!@&÷? Up and gave u wisdom and advice to get thru it..jeanie is the sweetest REALEST people ive ever met..no matter the issue if ur genuine and u give 116% she will have ur back and shes saved alot of lives .kept alot of people from dying ,and serving life sentences in prison.shes known world wide and people listen when she speaks..hasnt been like that always if u know her story.but she spoke up for recovery addiction and other important issues and has gotten alot of laws and bills passed.you work with horses the environment is beautiful..not to mention the mind body and soul work ..its amazing what you learn..this is where u want to be if you want to change ur life..and u can smoke cigarettes .lol..
