This place changed my life!!! I came to Juniper canyon in February of 2022 absolutely broken and defeated. This place got me sober (and kept me sober) changed my entire perspective on life and what it means to be me, and shaped me into the woman I am today. My most sacred and special moments were spent in Utah with these absolutely incredible people and I am forever grateful. I have a beautiful, fun and full life today that would not have been possible without Legacy.

The owner of Next Level (Mike) told me that "No one wants you here, you do not belong." This was after I had spent 1.5 weeks integrating myself into a great community. I took notes, I was committed, I continued to participate. Both my therapists said I was so great and said they thought I would flourish in this program! My belief is that he was too lazy to fix their insurance mistake. My insurance reached out several times to fix their error, with no response. But I was told I was 'unfit', by Mike, who I had never met or interacted with. Mike called me to apologize and asked me to come back once he realized I had PR influence. He said 'he was just having a bad day'. I cannot imagine the words he spoke to me, going through to someone more fragile than I, and having someone so trusted be so demeaning. "You are not wanted", "You do not fit", "No one wants you here". These are not things I want my fellow recoveries to hear - Especially when not warranted in the slightest. I love the coaches. I loved the environment. But when the owner thinks he can get away with saying those things to me, I can't imagine what he's said to others. Disgusting.

Matr isnt a ordinary rehab program ..although 12 step program is in the curriculum it is a small portion of the rehabilitation process ...the staff and counselors have all been patients or in recovery themselves. When first walking thru the door u feel as if u just got to ur favorite aunt or relatives house u would visit yearly..you know the ones who never judged u but always made sure u knew when u were *€!@&÷? Up and gave u wisdom and advice to get thru it..jeanie is the sweetest REALEST people ive ever met..no matter the issue if ur genuine and u give 116% she will have ur back and shes saved alot of lives .kept alot of people from dying ,and serving life sentences in prison.shes known world wide and people listen when she speaks..hasnt been like that always if u know her story.but she spoke up for recovery addiction and other important issues and has gotten alot of laws and bills passed.you work with horses the environment is beautiful..not to mention the mind body and soul work ..its amazing what you learn..this is where u want to be if you want to change ur life..and u can smoke cigarettes .lol..

Maple Mountain Recovery in Utah completely exceeded my expectations. From day one, their team created a highly personalized treatment plan tailored just for me—every session felt tailored to my needs. What really sets them apart is the way they seamlessly blend healing with genuine care and enjoyable experiences. Between therapy sessions, I had options like yoga, cold plunges in nature, art therapy, acupuncture, and many therapeutic adventures. It felt like real recovery, not just treatment. The staff is amazingly attentive—every single team member knew my name, remembered my goals, and checked in regularly to see how I was doing. They made sure I felt supported 100% of the time and built an environment that was both professional and warm. If you’re looking for a recovery center that cares deeply, customizes your journey, and injects a dose of fun and relaxation into the process—Maple Mountain Recovery is it. Highly recommend!

Next Level Recovery stands out from traditional substance abuse programs by not only providing education and cessation strategies but also offering a unique experience. When you reach out in search of a sober living environment, you are greeted by Mike Brown himself, a compassionate individual who has played a pivotal role in my journey to recovery. I have had the privilege of residing in his sober living houses on two separate occasions, as well as participating in his intensive outpatient program. Mike Brown has proven to be more than just a supporter. Moreover, when I discovered I was pregnant, I reached out to Mike, and he swiftly arranged for me to move into one of his finest sober living houses within a few hours. His dedication to my well-being is a testament to his genuinely admirable character. Furthermore, Mike's wife (whom I haven’t met) shares his passion for creating a welcoming atmosphere in the sober living houses. She invests her energy into decorating these spaces, aiming to transform them into genuine homes. Their commitment to enhancing the quality of life for individuals in recovery is commendable. My journey towards sobriety has spanned an extended period, during which I have undergone a profound transformation in both my lifestyle and mindset. While Next Level Recovery played an instrumental role in my progress, the true catalyst for change was the experience of residing in their sober living houses. These environments foster personal growth by allowing individuals to take ownership of their lives while also providing essential resources for those struggling. A well-designed sober living program should never be overly controlling, but rather empower individuals to learn how to care for themselves. However, it should also offer a safety net to prevent anyone from falling into the depths of despair. Next Level Recovery understands this delicate balance and ensures that residents are equipped with the necessary skills to thrive independently while offering support when needed.

I've been going here for about a month now. It's been years since I've gone to a clinic. In the past I haven't had the greatest experiences at clinics due to many factors. Like having too many patients and/or lack of empathy. Their intake processes were always so ridiculous. They would make u jump through 100 hoops just to start dosing. And sometimes if you didn't meet their unrealistic qualifications they would turn u away and tell u to come back another day. But Tranquility Place has put those places to shame! The intake process is easy and painless and goes by quick! They get u to dose right away. They have dr's there each morning to help get u to a comfortable dose. The staff there is beyond helpful, professional, very sweet and personable. Very passionate about what they do there and it shows. Ive never felt judged and I've been met with a lot of compassion. I check in with my counselor maybe once a week for no more than 10-20 min at a time. Groups are available but not mandatory! Each time I dose im in and out in the blink of an eye. There is never a wait time when I come in to dose. I'm finally stable and my quality of life is already improving. I was against going back on methadone for a long time. But if u are anything like me and have had long term issues with opiates and u are considering a clinic, Tranquility Place is the clinic to go to! Trust me!

Please proofread your reviews!! Incoherent rants do not help anyone determine anything about this place, it only makes the reviewer look like an idiot who can’t even write a proper English sentence. You are doing a disservice to everyone who might really need help determining which clinic is right for them. This is a serious medical decision that people are making that could have life and death consequences so please take your reviews more seriously and re-read them for spelling and grammatical errors. Otherwise keep your incomprehensible diatribes to yourself. We will all thank you for your help keeping our Community well.

My adopted daughters started really struggling once they hit their teen years and although they had great therapists at home, this was not sufficient for their struggles. Their life choices were escalating into scary situations and it was hard to consider out of home therapy placement. I'm so thankful I found Youth Cares as they truly care about children and getting to the root cause of their struggles. They taught my daughters really great DBT coping skills that will help them throughout life. My girls were treated with care and respect while in treatment. The therapists and staff are really great and made such a huge difference for our family. I want to speak to all the parents who believe that when our children make mistakes, they can never be the same again. I want you to look at these photos of Roberto, a boy who was programmed to be a champion since the womb but whose adolescence and life experiences led him to make his own decisions, though not always the right ones. With the help of Youth Care and the full support of my husband, his siblings, and myself, his mother, he was able to find himself again. ♥️ We are also deeply grateful to the other families who were going through the same struggles and, by sharing their stories, helped us support each other. Thanks to Youth Care’s guidance, our perseverance, and Roberto’s wise decision, he has now been able to change his life or maybe return to the one that was always there since the day he was born. Is it worth it? Absolutely, more than you can imagine. Take the step. For us, the greatest gift Youth Care gave us was communication. We didn’t have it at the beginning but we eventually found it and with it came real change. A piece of advice: when they call you for the enrollment process, ask to attend the therapy sessions, especially the group ones. I miss them deeply. Today we are happy. Roberto is back to his lifelong sport, back by his own choice after 15 years of life. ♥️

Finding the right residential facility for your child is incredibly important, and it's a deeply personal subject that I don't typically write about. However, I felt compelled to share my experience with YouthCare because it helped my family so immensely, and I know this review can offer comfort and guidance to other parents navigating this difficult journey. My daughter spent eight months at YouthCare, and the care she received was beyond anything we'd experienced before. After trying several facilities in California without the success we hoped for, Youth Care proved to be the perfect fit for her unique needs. I'm so grateful we discovered them, especially given the many negative reviews one can find about residential facilities. I've personally tried a lot of residential facilities over the years, and YouthCare is truly the only one I've had a good experience with; every other facility doesn't even come close to the exceptional care she received here. From the moment my daughter arrived, the entire team at YouthCare impressed me. The therapists are all outstanding, with a special shout-out to Kelly, the Clinical Director, who is truly amazing. Tracy, Kaya, and Jade, you truly care about these kids and I appreciate you. Communication was consistently excellent; I always felt informed about my daughter's progress and any incidents. Staff and therapists were always accessible, ensuring I was never left wondering about her care. A standout feature was the quarterly parent days. These sessions were invaluable, providing opportunities to connect with other parents, share experiences, and, most importantly, receive specialized training on essential skills to support my daughter's continued growth. YouthCare truly prioritizes the entire family's well-being. I know many parents, and even former residents, have shared reviews about truly awful facilities in Utah. It's a valid concern, and I'm sure you've seen many of those Google reviews. But let me be absolutely clear: YouthCare is not one of them. If you're looking for exceptional, genuinely caring, and effective support for your child in Utah, look no further than YouthCare.

Utah Trauma has made a lasting impact on how I see myself and the way I treat the world. The amount of knowledge I gained from my stay at this treatment center is unreal. My initial intention when I landed at Utah Trauma was to create a much needed foundation I could grow from. Im writing this 2 weeks into the real world so the afterglow is still very strong from everything I gained from my experience at this house. I expected a very surface level of foundation than what I actually have now. I was more seeking a physical security rather than the emotional structure I now have. I feel more confident shaping my future with the tools I learned at Utah Trauma than I ever planned. Fully immersing myself into the world of self growth that this place had to offer opened my eyes to more truths about my past than I really imagined. Jumping into an inpatient treatment center has a ton of variables. The way this house is setup makes for so much more actual real world life lessons than the previous program I sat thru. I always felt a true level of compassion from the people that ran Utah Trauma during my stay no matter how hard it was for me to face whatever truth I was being presented. I couldn't have asked for more from this treatment facility. No matter the drama within the clients there was always a deep level of respect for how each patient felt about what was happening within the culture and I cant emphasize this enough. It's difficult to see passed the emotional lenses when drama is faced head on. Jeremy had an awesome approach with every person at this facility during my time here.

I would have rated 4 stars but at the end of the day they're a business so you will be treated to their standards and I was treated well. Other than that I had a mixed, complicated experience. You should know about the type of residents who reside there, mostly severe drug addicts, convicts and people with severe trauma and suicidal tendencies so living with a bunch of strangers who mostly are there because of legal issues and not so much that they're truly trying to turn their life around is going to cause drama. There's a lot of house and client issues that it interferes with group therapy. There's a lot of needy, complaining, immature clients that make it difficult for the ones who are willing there and committed to the program and truly seeking help and change. Every now and than there's also favoritism among the clients, therapists and interns who put in hours there. They don't hire people for chore duties or meal cooks so clients have to participate in all that among other activities such as going to AA meetings and gym time along with the strict rules they ( which nobody follows, rules are broken, people are held accountable but there's no disciplinary action until it's reached totally out of control than you're kicked out) but I found all this truly beneficial trying to also have some order and discipline in my life. It's a fairly, decent, classic type of home, nothing modern. They have equine horse therapy in which they have 2 lovely, friendly horses and my favorite a donkey named Nacho. On the bright side, it's a lovely home, beautiful landscaping all around the house, beautiful views of Eagle Mountain, Saratoga and UT County Lake which I found very therapeutical. The owners did a very good job in designing and constructing the home along with it's location. Shout out to the staff who work there (Darron, Callie and Avery) in which they're family but they're very nice and professional and you will be taken care of no matter what you got going on. Try to make sure you're type of insurance is "in network" first especially the Medicaid plans cause it sucks to get admitted but have to leave because you're insurance didn't cover the stay but they will still try their hardest to make things work out. I especially want to shout out my therapist James. He truly cares, he handles himself professionally but yet he's laid back and super funny. Apart from him being my therapist I found his groups more enjoyable and knowledgeable. Also want to mention that this type of program is mostly based on "group therapy" rather than the one on one personal therapy with the therapist. Shout out to Jeremy as well, life changing experience with the EMDR therapy and truly inspirational therapists, I myself have always loved psychology and working with them truly inspired and motivated me to perhaps get into this type of field. Much love and respect on how they orchestrated the program. My family and I see and feel the change and how I've grown and learned but recognize that it was just an awesome stepping stone towards my journey to continue on a successful recovery.

After my husband tried multiple medications, years of talk therapy, CT scans, MRI’s, and saw countless doctors for different issues- we FINALLY got to the root of it all: his brain. By addressing the core—his neurological function—we’ve found true healing from his depression, anxiety, ADHD, & addictions. Those painful cycles are over, as this has given us the tools to actually work through them. It’s been a long 7 years watching him suffer & feel disconnected, and now I’m finally seeing my husband be HIMSELF again. That means everything to me. His quality of life has done a complete 180. Absolutely life-changing. I couldn't really have done it without them because of what they do here at neural life healing and it's just absolutely phenomenal. It's well worth the money and we'll worth your time because on all honesty. It's not that much time. It may be every day, but it's not that much time. .there were some days that I wanted more or longer sessions. Also, because I felt comfortable with the people providing the care and also because the care was amazing.

These guys are awesome, if your ready to get clean. If you want to keep getting high, go to the one that rhymes with fart. These guys know their stuff, understand addiction, and will work with you to get you sober. If you want a clinic that doesn't care and will let you do what you want, this isn't the place. I had an experience where they showed me this first hand. The level on one of my tests was out of whack, so they started doing my dose do make sure all was well. Once things were sstraightened or, the stabilized me for the first time ever. Now I'm good without dope. 5 years at fart and nothing, I come here and within a month, I'm stable. This is unlike any other clinic I've been to. No lines around the block, no staff talking down to you. Exactly what I needed.

EDIT: It's been almost a year since my last review & I wanted to update it again. I love this place and & the people. Unfortunately, Jerry, who was the owner, had to sell. I met the new owner & he seemed very nice but omg the new systems they're implementing are just so awful & annoying & frustrating. Before we would come in & Susan, the receptionist, who is so sweet, kind, smart, & efficient, would get us checked in & we could literally be in & out in like 3 minutes for real. Now they make u check in on a tablet & there's a TV where they put your # when you're allowed to go back & see Jeff, (the one who gives u your dose). I hate it for a couple reasons, #1- it slows things down A LOT!!! There is always a wait now & it is no longer in & out. #2- it makes u feel like your at the DMV! Waiting for your # to be called, you're not a person, you're a # & it feels so clinical & impersonal. Now one of the things I do like & really appreciate that they've done is if u miss your counseling apt they give u a week to do a group & if u do u don't have to pay a fine. Which I really appreciate. Last Monday the while morning was going awful & all these things came up & I totally spaced & felt so bad about missing my apt but am so grateful I am able to make it up! I'm also grateful Jerry is still there & I still have him as my counselor, he is a wonderful person who u can tell really cares about everyone & never judges. & I'm also so glad Susan is there & Jeff. Jeff is the nurse who gives u your dose, who is also one of my favorite people there. He is so kind, efficient & I love coming every day & getting to see Susan & Jeff cuz they're such wonderful people & I hope they never leave!!! Diane is another staff member who has been there for years & is such an amazing person. As a matter of fact, all the staff there is amazing & I'm grateful to have such wonderful people to be there & support me in my recovery journey. So even though I really don't like the new system (& talking to others, everyone else hates it too & were kind of hoping they'll do away with it after a while when they see how much it slows things down) I will still continue with, I guess it's called True North now because of the people there.

I feel like I would have been lost without there help. They are the best they walk you through in every detail the skills with you tell you get them down. I felt very scared that I was gonna relapse and end up back at the hospital but they showed me it was possible and having family notice the change is good but I still feel so horrible is still hard to tell if I am ready to finish and move on but I will say that this place makes me feel so safe and I struggle with my employer and you guys were able to get them to understand better the schedule even though I struggle with them for wednesdays cause sometimes I'm not out early enough to make it in time but i am so grateful cause it's been 2 years I was fighting postpartum depression I've been through so much all at once and I tried therapy and it just wasn't working and different medications and nothing and tried cbd oils and nothing and supplements and nothing.everyone is so nice and I feel so safe when I come here and my son used to cry once I pulled him out of the car seat and now I'm like do u want to go play with your friends and he didn't cry this time around which was great. I'd reccomend it especially for my daughter cause I feel down feel like she's going through it and she pulls me with her hopefully one day she will. Thank you all for what you do you guys know how to get the tears out so we're able to heal and feel better and what ever is upsetting us at the moment you guys listen without judging us and I appreciate it

I would recommend Serenity in Riverton to any mom struggling with depression, anxiety, or OCD. All of the therapists there are very caring and want their clients to know how amazing they are and want them to feel better. I participated in the OCD/anxiety IOP, and had a great experience. Being surrounded by other moms who were also struggling was so empowering as we learned coping skills for OCD and how to deal with it head on. The child care that is provided during IOP was wonderful and my child loved going there. Morgan Slade, is one of the therapists there, and I would recommend her to any mom that needs OCD treatment. I have seen many therapists in the past, but from my first consult with Morgan, I could tell she was very caring and compassionate for her clients and wanted them to succeed. Honestly, Serenity helped me get through one of the hardest years and I am so grateful for that. It is an amazing healing center for moms.

There truly aren’t enough words to express how incredible my experience with Serenity has been and continues to be. I highly recommend the outpatient program. While individual therapy is always helpful, I found the group setting to be even more effective and transformative. One of my favorite things about Serenity is that the support doesn’t end when the program does. I’ve greatly enjoyed and benefited from their ongoing online classes, as well as their regular events and hangouts. I’ve made lifelong friends. Serenity is a place where everyone belongs, and the laughs and fun never end. Thank you to all those who make this program possible. I’m am forever grateful.

So far our experience have been very positive. We were very impressed with the check in process and how smooth that went. We got all our questions answered before we left and were able to say goodbye feeling like our son was going to be in good hands. We got to talk to him that night which helped ease our anxiety a lot. The only rough thing for us was we did not hear from our son for a week until we sent an email asking for contact. Family Therapy went okay for our first Zoom session. I'm still nervous about him being so far away but I do feel like he's being taken care of and will learn good life skills needed to come home and be successful. I am always willing to admit when I am wrong and I have been convinced that the communication was only one sided and that we were being kept from contact with our son. Come to find out it was our phone carrier blocking the unknown number the whole time. My only suggestion to calm a worried parent would be to send an email letting us know contact is trying to be made. Thank you for the help in clearing up the situation and reconnecting us. Staff went above and beyond. Thanks Alex and Zach
