Going to Alpine is hands down the best decision I have ever made for myself. The staff and clinicians truly care about the client's well being. I have never left a treatment center truly believing that the work has paid off and I am moving forward in a positive direction, until now. Alpine has helped me create a new beginning and have a life worth living where I am not just struggling to survive day to day. Alpine recovery lodge saved my life in more ways than just one. I had such a great experience there from the process groups to the DBT groups. Alpine has a piece of my heart and they always will. They helped me with my addiction I couldn't get sober by myself. I highly recommend alpine. Heather quickly became one of my favorite parts of my days at alpine and so did deren. I cannot speak highly enough about Alpine Recovery Lodge. The entire staff are among the most supportive and loving people out there. They truly feel and treat you as family. This program has changed my life for the better. I felt safe, loved, and supported all while being challenged to become the best version of myself. It isn't easy, in fact it may be one of the hardest things you'll ever do, but if you put in the work and effort, it is so worth it. Alpine will always hold a special place in my heart and feel like home.

So I just want to leave a review based on such a supportive experience with staff. My daughter has been struggling up an down and all around, n I still am working on her to finally surrender, but I want to give a review on Charles. Charles is amazing, he has called me at 10:30 pm he has dealt with many messages, many I think today might be the day and than not, everyone knows what I talk about if they are familiar with addicts and their thought process and fear. I pray my daughter will finally surrender before it's to late, everyone close to my daughters have been dying left n right and they have lost children due to addiction, my grandchildren are now adopted out, my heart melts in heartbreak and the pain the whole family goes through is endless. So I just want to give a shout out to the amazing team and all their work while not giving up on us. They keep going out of their way to help me Everytime I reach out. Great people! I will forever be grateful for Wasatch Crest. They literally saved my life! They have done for me what I once believed was impossible. They gave me hope of a new life, free from substance abuse and relief from overbearing mental health issues. I personally want to thank both Jim and Nicolette Huffman for not only opening their doors to me within residential treatment, but also for believing in me and not giving up on me. They both really do care, are highly involved and truly develop love for each and every client who is fortunate to admit into the program. Wasatch Crest has one of the best clinical teams I have ever encountered, especially my therapist Rick Buxton CMHC. All of their staff was welcoming, helpful and professional. If you are looking for a residential treatment facility that is safe, filled with numerous therapeutic activities and specializes in trauma, Wasatch Crest is the place to get into. This was my first time in residential treatment. I’ve struggled with alcohol/addiction for the majority of my life. I found real help here (for my mental health as well). I found real people here. It was honestly some of the best weeks of my life. If any of my family or friends are struggling with drinking/using I will refer them here. This is a special place. A place that fosters cultivation of real personal growth. I’m currently in their IOP program after graduating residential, and it’s excellent aftercare. This place changed my life. Of course it came with challenges; but the environment, culture, and staff here are all great. I’m the one who had to commit to recovery, but this is the place to do it.

Wow, 6 months of treatment later and I have nothing but nice things to say about Cirque Lodge. I am a 24 year old girl who left her family 6 months ago to get sober. And well, I did it! Without Cirque and the 12 steps, none of this would’ve been possible. Shoutout to Candice the counselor who saved my life. I am ever grateful to this program. Ardu' Recovery..... Oh my love... I obtained more in 45 days at their residential than I had previously in a combined 12 months elsewhere. I can not convey through mere words what they've created. A fruitless and in vain attempt would be to say that the staff aren't there for a paycheck, they are here to change lives and the do daily. That they alongside the clients help to cultivate a space of healing where one truly feels capable of being present, accountable, and vulnerable. That this is the place and these are my people. That I hope you find the courage within you to walk through those doors and the dedication to change your own life, with the help of some absolutely amazing people along the way. Though those would all be severe understatements, so if you're curious at least come check us out. What's the worst that could happen? Your life could be everything you imagined and more, things you couldn't even fathom brought to fruition, families healed and faith restored? The streets will always refund your misery but if you're looking for a place full of love, light, and like minded individuals welcome home relative.

Chateau was an amazing opportunity to focus on myself and personal growth. I was initially hesitant as it’s hard to realize self neglect when you’re living in survival mode. I learned PTSD is real and processing trauma is necessary. I was becoming depressed without seeing it and approaching this open minded was a game changer. The staff brings not just professional experience but life experience and are compassionate and understanding. I highly recommend Chateau as a former first responder and to anyone that needs the tools to better themselves.

I am so thankful for being able to find this place. It is definitely a very amazing place with people that come from all walks of life. I feel so thankful to have found The Phoenix. I am amazed by all of the amazing therapists and amazing employees that work there. Bless their amazing hearts! I am a graduate of Deer Hollow Recovery’s program. I strongly recommend Deer Hollow for anyone who is ready and willing to do the hard work of healing. Deer Hollow staff are highly trained in supporting first responders and military veterans. Their therapists, chefs, technicians, medical, and administrative staff work in tandem to walk with clients. Due to the unique healing work that we need, the process is not always pretty. I got really upset on a few occasions while at Deer Hollow. The staff gave me room to process and also upheld standards. I appreciate the work that Deer Hollow does. I have my life back!!!

As a professional in the industry, I had the opportunity to tour this beautiful facility. The staff was very welcoming and provided me with great details about their program as they showed me around the buildings, explaining what they could offer to the adolescents they work with. I really appreciate every part of this process I have been through with these guys! Mrs. Brown is such an amazing soul. It’s nice to be treated like a person and not a case number. I’m thinking of continuing sessions even after my required ones are done just so I can have that freedom of no judgment or anything when it comes to talking about personal life and feelings. For the people that walk into this place and already have their minds made up about what it’s going to be, of course it’s not going to be good. For those that come into the process with an open mind and positive attitude, I don’t see how this can’t be helpful. I cannot say enough about how Deer Hollow has changed the trajectory of my life. After years of intense trauma therapy with little progress, I had reached such a low point that our fire department’s mental health team recommended I come to Utah. When I agreed, I had no idea how I was going to get through six weeks of residential treatment—and by week three, I wasn’t sure there would be enough time. Clinicians and admissions worked together to ensure I could continue the work we started with their PHP and IOP programs, which I feel were crucial. After years of struggling with pain and confusion of trauma, on and off the job, they were able to listen, hold space and help me begin to understand, heal and grow. Deer Hollow takes a truly holistic approach to wellness, incorporating nutrition support, physical exercise, yoga, and community service alongside group and individual therapy. The structured, intensive schedule helped me build a routine that I still follow today. An amazing bonus is the ongoing alumni support—weekly online check-ins, group meditation or yoga, and the meaningful connection with peers who continue to walk this journey with me. I am forever grateful for the amazing clinicians, techs, admissions team, and support staff who have given me a new outlook on life.

I just recently returned from spending 5 weeks at Pathways. While it was long and difficult it will prove to be very much worth it in the long run. The entire staff is incredible. The CEO, house manager, Dr., therapists and the entire support staff genuinely care about your wellbeing and treat you with understanding, love and respect. It may not be the fanciest facility but it's clean, peaceful and full of positivity. I've been to "luxury" rehab facilities in the past and I'll take Pathways staff and care over the "luxury" any day. If you truly want to get well and are willing to do the work I highly recommend Pathways to start your journey towards recovery.

Two years ago, I came to Pathways after a year of looking for help for a severe eating disorder where I lived in Nevada, to no avail. I had no hope or motivation to live anymore, but after my family convinced me, I decided to give it one last try. It is difficult to express how special this program is. Especially for those who really want life to get better. Their approach is unique, focusing on the specific issues underlying maladaptive behaviors and aiming to heal what makes people want to turn to substances or self-destructive behavior. I am alive today and actively pursuing a future because of the amazing, supportive staff at Pathways. I have experienced more positive, effective progress in the 2+ years I’ve been working with Tina than I experienced in the previous decade of therapy. Her patience, acceptance, and real/relatable nature has given me the space to make healthier decisions and the support to face difficult truths. Michael Ryan is an incredible recovery specialist who cares enough to be direct and honest and knows how denial can derail recovery. Yoga Chelsey has a wealth of knowledge and genuine desire to see clients heal. Doc Sellers was fantastic and encouraged me to keep trying when facing medication-related concerns and issues. Honestly, there are too many amazing people, both Clinical and Support staff, to specifically name them all. No program is perfect. There is a lack of attention given to teaching a variety of healthy coping skills, especially for a program that treats disorders which typically involve emotional dysregulation and trauma. Client dynamics can be a mixed bag and even professionals sometimes make mistakes. However, everyone is passionate about helping clients turn their lives around. Pathways is a special community and offers so many options to fit individuals’ lives. If you are willing to do the work, they are willing to walk with you through it.

Having been to many treatment centers in the past 22 years I recently graduated from Pathways residential treatment and have to say it has helped me help myself more than any other treatment center. Pathways has a unique approach to the treatment of mental health and addiction to where I didn't just feel like another client, I felt like part of a family who understood me, staff included. I wish I could single out every staff member there because they all care so much. I do want to give a shout out to one staff member. If it hadn't been for Ally who talked with my daughter for an hour, and then me when we were looking for a treatment center, and the way she took the time to explain to us what Pathways was about without trying to sell something really helped me make a decision that would change my life. I noticed negative reviews here, and felt compelled to share my own experience because it has been different. I also think it’s worth noting that many of these negative reviews come from people who left treatment early. Those experiences are absolutely valid, however they do not reflect what it’s like to move through the entire program and experience the full process. things often feel hardest before getting better. To preface this, my journey at New Roads has been anything but easy (for me or staff). When working through years of pain, fear, and maladaptive behaviors, emotions can be really overwhelming, and it’s easy to direct those feelings toward the treatment process itself. There were many moments pushed me FAR past my comfort zone and forced me to confront parts of myself I had been trying to avoid. I realize now that those moments weren’t signs that treatment wasn’t working, they were evidence that it was. I just wasn’t able to see that until after I graduated from the residential program. Before coming to New Roads, I had been to several different treatment centers. I always left feeling like another patient rather than an individual. I never felt understood and I struggled that anyone genuinely cared. By the time I arrived at New Roads in May 2024, I was emotionally done, impacted by trauma, and had almost no hope that this place would be any different. I felt so broken, misunderstood, and convinced i was beyond help. I honestly came to treatment because it was the box I was supposed to check, not because I believed it could actually help. I definitely wasn’t expecting healing. However, I found something I had never fully experienced before: people who truly cared. The staff (mostly) saw me as a person first, not a diagnosis or a presentation of symptoms. They held me accountable when needed and yet still showed compassion. There were days I wanted to leave and did. There were days i questioned the process and did, and times I caught myself directing my frustration with recovery toward the people who were trying to help me. I can see that those reactions were part of healing, not proof that treatment was failing. The support I received when it felt nearly impossible, gave me courage to keep going. Today, I can honestly say that choosing New Roads was one of the most rewarding decisions. It gave me way more than skills or a break from my struggles. It gave me hope, confidence, and the belief that I could build a life worth living. No treatment center is perfect, and everyone’s experience will be different. I don’t want to diminish anyone else’s story, because every person’s experience is real and deserves to be heard. At the same time, I think it’s equally important for people considering treatment to know that positive experiences exist too. New Roads changed the trajectory of my life and I will always be grateful for that.

I'm not sure how to explain it. It feels like a jail where they baby you with unlimited cigs and good food. Its not fun to wake up to a large man in the shared bathroom shitting at 4am. Yet, the court yard and people you meet are mostly good. Get a watch before you go so you can be on time for the many groups and an MP3 radio so you have something to do.

New roads is an amazing program. I received so much help & healing Even just in the few months I attended IOP there. More so than I was ever able to obtain at any of my other programs. My therapist was absolutely amazing, and they all worked extremely hard to make sure I had everything I needed. The Dr's and all the staff are very kind and knowledgeable. They genuinely want to help people who are struggling. It's a different kind of program in its very own special way and I greatly recommend it to anyone struggling. The staff is great about helping you navigate your way so you are able to receive the most beneficial treatment for yourself. I encourage you not to hesitate to call. I had the best experience here. I loved most of the staff! It had a very homey vibe. They treated me like I was family. Its hard to get sober as it is and the hospitality they showed me was impeccable. The nurses were very kind and took care of me better than the nurses in the hospitals ever did. Very nurturing. I cant say the same for the after care though...it wasn't horrible, but my experience just wasn't great. I could care less about the staff there as well. I don't recommend Chatham or w.e their sober living is called. Otherwise their rehab, 10/10 all around amazing! Highly recommend. Just follow the rules. I know its easier said than done. Getting sober feels like freedom you haven't felt and you almost feel like a kid again. Take advantage of your stay here. Its a great program.

On April 4, 2025 I was checked into Wasatch Recovery Treatment Cent from San Francisco, CA. My best friend had drove from Utah to pick me up because I had back to back overdoses and was close to dying every single day from an extreme GHB, methamphetamine, alcohol, and cocaine addiction, as well as heavy Xanax, klonopin, oxy, and Adderall abuse. I was so bad that he and a small group of my closest friends had to pack my apartment for me before I left, because I was so disconnected from myself and reality. For 20 years I have battled addiction off and on and was always missing the key to keep me in a place where I didn't WANT to do drugs anymore. When I got to Wasatch there was a culture shock and it was scary for me. Utah isn't as diverse as California (especially San Francisco) and there was a fear that I would be treated differently for being a gay man in a conservative state. This was not the case at Wasatch. I was greeted with love and kindness, acceptance and patience. I had a time I wanted to leave and they gave me the space to do so, alongside with the opportunity to questioning my own reasoning for it. This lead to a personal meeting with the owner of Wasatch, Mark that really showed me what This program was about. A type of love that I had never experienced from complete strangers that would soon blossom into a community of friends and family that have supported me throughout every step. Today, I am over a year sober. I have a good job, an apartment, I'm on the softball league, and I have 2 dear friends who even helped me with a car so that I could get to work and rebuild my life. I have rekindled relationships and transformed my mind, body, and spirit. This program works if you are willing to work for it too. They will show you so many variations of therapy that will explain how addiction works in the brain, a personalized therapist will challenge you to go deeper in yourself than you ever wanted, and the experiential therapy will reconnect you with life and nature. The food is great, the staff is loving and comes from the heart, and it is a safe place to grow bigger than you could ever imagine. That's why I love Wasatch and if you're reading this and need help, I hope you know that this is a special place that can help you too.

Wasatch has been the absolute BEST!! The staff is amazing and each one of the clients get to have access to therapy with The main Man Todd Sylvester who really can figure out what needs to be tweaked or overhauled like me!! Last but most importantly is the yoga that they provide in treatment lead by the master yogi Tina the Guru who can see right through you which makes it easier to be real which feels good. Because of there recovery yoga classes they provide after treatment with the Best teacher on the planet Sage, they get my 5 stars and 🕺🏻emoji!! Get the help you deserve and call Wasatch!! This is my second go round… been goin to for like 6 months maybe a lil longer.. this place is far from perfect.. but just like everywhere else ur experience is what u make of it! Sure its ghetto… n seems that everyone that goes or well 90% of the clients clearly still use… but if u pay to much attention to those details rather than the real reason ur goin there ( your self) then u have already lost the fight.. stop taking so much time worrying about everyone else and focus on u and why u r getting help! Recommend to anyone that isn’t worried about sitting back and judging everyone else and just worry about their own needs!

I found my wife dead overdosed In Her bedroom, was able to bring her back and brought her to this clinic. We had no insurance, no money, and no resources. The staff here actually paid out of their own pockets to get my wife her medication each day until her insurance came thru. A entire week stabilizing her dose and by that time she was no longer using. She was able to focus on living and be excited to wake up each day. It helped bring her back down to earth and gave her and me our hope and positive outlook on our lives. We're so grateful for this place and others like it. It may not be for everyone but It helped save our lives Thank you.

Not my first rodeo. I have been through a few rehabilitation programs with several local treatment centers in Salt Lake City. Recovery Ways at Brunswick was equipped with staff that has experience and multiple tools to assist in the recovery process. The step down progression and support is second to none. I have memories and friends from my short time that I will carry for a lifetime. I am sober today in part because of the staff and resources I was gifted on my day of surrender. Highly recommended and even though the commitment seems daunting, the experience will enhance your life skills and provide ample suggestions to assist in a fight for life outside addiction.

At first I was scared but the environment at RW is one of community and kindness to all. Their food was pretty good and the therapy has done me well. It was so fun getting to meet new people and make memories with them I’ll remember forever.

I had an excellent experience at Willow Tree receiving help for alcoholism. The staff was incredible, the facility was clean and comfortable, and the administrative staff did wonders with my insurance company so that the whole experience was possible. I was nervous about going to treatment, but I couldn't be happier that I did, and Willow Tree exceeded my hopes and expectations.
