I have had the privilege of residing in his sober living houses on two separate occasions, as well as participating in his intensive outpatient program. Mike Brown has proven to be more than just a supporter. Moreover, when I discovered I was pregnant, I reached out to Mike, and he swiftly arranged for me to move into one of his finest sober living houses within a few hours. His dedication to my well-being is a testament to his genuinely admirable character. Furthermore, Mike's wife (whom I haven’t met) shares his passion for creating a welcoming atmosphere in the sober living houses. She invests her energy into decorating these spaces, aiming to transform them into genuine homes. Their commitment to enhancing the quality of life for individuals in recovery is commendable. My journey towards sobriety has spanned an extended period, during which I have undergone a profound transformation in both my lifestyle and mindset. While Next Level Recovery played an instrumental role in my progress, the true catalyst for change was the experience of residing in their sober living houses. These environments foster personal growth by allowing individuals to take ownership of their lives while also providing essential resources for those struggling. A well-designed sober living program should never be overly controlling, but rather empower individuals to learn how to care for themselves. I really learned alot about myself and my addiction at recovery ways Brunswick my therapist was awesome and the staff was pretty cool and fun to be around also the classes were fun and my peers that I lived with were all pretty cool and fun to be around and I also loved the food they cooked all 3 meals also the activities they done with us was pretty fun as well I graduated inpatient then went to php graduated that then went to sober living so I would recommend recovery ways to anyone that is looking for a inpatient program definitely worth it.... thanks again recovery ways for helping me in my journey to sobriety..... My neighbor has been having problems...I looked online, as she is a patient and saw they were still open for another hour and a half. Her only responsible family care taker member was out of state and myself and her partner were at a loss. I called and the phone just kept ringing and ringing for a ridiculously long time. I ended up calling the police for a basic welfare check... they came because they actually cared. Not an actual life/death situation... we just needed a more trained evaluation than what we were. Thank YOU PCPD!

I recently had a teen come here in the summer, in May. I have also had a child come here before, three years ago. Both times were very positive and the staff did very well. They have an excellent Inpatient Program, with different levels of progression that works really well (prudently structured and effective). The meals and facilities are great. The staff that deals directly with Inpatients are very good at what they do. The counseling they offered is by professionals who are outstanding at what they do. A lot of the things learned during the time my teens have been there have stuck with them and they still use that knowledge today--One of our teens went through the YRT program-- I hope to never have to bring another family member again to Inpatient Care. However, if I did, it would be to The Hunstman Mental Institute. They are very good.

These guys are awesome, if your ready to get clean. If you want to keep getting high, go to the one that rhymes with fart. These guys know their stuff, understand addiction, and will work with you to get you sober. If you want a clinic that doesn't care and will let you do what you want, this isn't the place. I had an experience where they showed me this first hand. The level on one of my tests was out of whack, so they started doing my dose do make sure all was well. Once things were sstraightened or, the stabilized me for the first time ever. Now I'm good without dope. 5 years at fart and nothing, I come here and within a month, I'm stable. This is unlike any other clinic I've been to. No lines around the block, no staff talking down to you. Exactly what I needed.

EDIT: It's been almost a year since my last review & I wanted to update it again. I love this place and & the people. Unfortunately, Jerry, who was the owner, had to sell. I met the new owner & he seemed very nice but omg the new systems they're implementing are just so awful & annoying & frustrating. Before we would come in & Susan, the receptionist, who is so sweet, kind, smart, & efficient, would get us checked in & we could literally be in & out in like 3 minutes for real. Now they make u check in on a tablet & there's a TV where they put your # when you're allowed to go back & see Jeff, (the one who gives u your dose). I hate it for a couple reasons, #1- it slows things down A LOT!!! There is always a wait now & it is no longer in & out. #2- it makes u feel like your at the DMV! Waiting for your # to be called, you're not a person, you're a # & it feels so clinical & impersonal. Now one of the things I do like & really appreciate that they've done is if u miss your counseling apt they give u a week to do a group & if u do u don't have to pay a fine. Which I really appreciate. Last Monday the while morning was going awful & all these things came up & I totally spaced & felt so bad about missing my apt but am so grateful I am able to make it up! I'm also grateful Jerry is still there & I still have him as my counselor, he is a wonderful person who u can tell really cares about everyone & never judges. & I'm also so glad Susan is there & Jeff. Jeff is the nurse who gives u your dose, who is also one of my favorite people there. He is so kind, efficient & I love coming every day & getting to see Susan & Jeff cuz they're such wonderful people & I hope they never leave!!! Diane is another staff member who has been there for years & is such an amazing person. As a matter of fact, all the staff there is amazing & I'm grateful to have such wonderful people to be there & support me in my recovery journey. So even though I really don't like the new system (& talking to others, everyone else hates it too & were kind of hoping they'll do away with it after a while when they see how much it slows things down) I will still continue with, I guess it's called True North now because of the people there.

the worker richard is super unprofessional. he makes inappropriate sexual comments to the men making them uncomfortable, he is NOT supportive or caring at all he just cares about the money. he sets people up for failure, very unprofessional wouldn’t recommend going there if you want to get your together while he’s working there!

My present Therapist and also my Doctor here are great. I am very picky about my choices concerning my healthcare, and Brian is very good to listen to what's being said, whether by voice, tone, facial or body language, and assisting me in clarifying and working towards my goals. Dr Shank has throughout the years always been very respectful and truly listened to what I am sharing with her, and helping me find the right treatments for my needs and goals. Update..... I'm with a new therapist since my last review, Brent has been great! He's very detailed, patient, non judgemental, and listens very well. He puts in a lot of effort to help me work towards my personal goals which is great. I still am able to vent, which is actually necessary for me to work towards my goals as I have a lot of issues that I struggle to understand and I am hoping to make progress in order to understand where my faults lay.

Do I mind that my profile will appear in a review for mental healthcare? No, not at all—especially since DBH does such a great job taking care of our family, for both therapeutic and psychiatric interventions! Especially satisfied with their turn-around-time for medication refills!

I've had mixed experiences I absolutely value and respect every therapist I've been in contact with for family therapy. They have been a staple in my life to help keep it all together while I feel everything has been falling apart. There is only so much a therapist can do but when they help you really get your life back together through extremely hard times some people have gone above and beyond heling me navigate a system that gave me failure after failure and I think that is something to say about their Employment and Education counseling.

Volunteers of America men's detoxification center is an amazing safe haven for those most vonarable detoxing from Alcohol and or drugs! The staff are amazing! They truly care about there clients treating them with love & respect. Thank you VOA❤️
