Overall I'm grateful to this place for the help that they've given me, cause I'll be real, they can only do so much and then it's up to me. The reason for four stars is because of the wait times, they are ridiculous, and the way I feel I'd that there had got to be a better system put into place so that people who are their to simply dose can do just that and get on with their lives..if there is someone doing anything other than that then there should be a line for other stuff. And the people who cheat and can't wait in line is becoming a huge problem. Honestly I feel like it should be a take a number system or something...alls I know I'd something needs to be done because there's been days I'd rather just take the AWOL and turn to leave once I see the line. If I had a job I would be very upset at the process because as it is it appears they don't seem to care that people have other things to do. Perhaps there should be a cap on the amount of patients maybe, the policy take everyone that comes obviously is causing more problems.

This place has changed my life! My counselor Carrie is the best!! She always makes time for me and really cares about my recovery and my life. The staff here have always been respectful and supportive. I have been in and out of treatment for many years and this is the only place that has helped me to achieve any kind of real clean time. I am so grateful we finally have a clinic in Longview/ Kelso! We've needed one here for such a long time! If your ready to change and do what it takes to get your life back on track, this is the place for you. ❤️

The care I received from NP Adreia Jessop and her MA Amber today fully exceeded what I would consider “required” care. With all the reviews I was scared to go to this place but the doctors, nurses and staff were amazing. I've had a lot of bad experience with doctors, and the doctor listened to me and helped. I was at lakefront before this and some of their doctors are super disrespectful to the point where I left crying. This place deserves at least 4 stars. Not sure why this office is getting hate... they're really ontop of stuff for me and they seem like they care.

I attended here back in the summer and they worked a miracle on me because I am still sober and still have the desire to become the best version of myself. All of the counselors are absolutely amazing. I find myself missing their lessons and talks with them pretty often. They give you homework that I think truly helps you heal parts of yourself you didn’t believe needed healing. All of the staff is very kind, the food is AWESOME, campus is very pretty. You’re able to have people send you care packages which is nice if you forgot or need something while you’re there. Come with an open mind and heart and I promise you will leave a different person than who walked in there. Only thing is definitely bring your own pillow, lol. MISS YOU COWLITZ STAFF 💕

This place saved my life. The counselors actually give a shit and aren't just there for a paycheck. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone that's seeking help. I do not usually take the time to do this but wanted to share my experience with Cowlitz Family Dental. It started with my first call to schedule an appt. The second Dyana the receptionist answered the phone I could tell she was there to help. It is not often in todays workforce you find people to willingly without prompting go the extra mile or dig just a little deeper to ensure another person gets the help they need. I was truly impressed with the level of professionalism and compassion she displayed. I was so relieved to work with someone like this as Dental offices are not my comfort zone. During the entire visit from front desk to back office staff and finally Dr. Xu I felt very at ease and trusted their process. Dr. Xu was amazing, not once did I feel rushed, she took the time to answer any questions I had as well as explained to me the process and options clearly. This was truly the best clinical visit I have had. This office should set the standard in how care of any sort should be. Thank you Dr. Xu, Dyana and team for a fantastic experience.

Wish they could help just a tad more. With my fibrosis when i need antibiotics or extra prednisone. At first I was afraid of coming here but found nothing but an excellent experience. Madelyn was excellent and very attentive to my needs. The fella that draws blood was a real master of his art (The Vain Whisper) since most have such a hard time finding my vain from so much pricking from my past. So far I'm really happy with them. Let's hope it stays this way.

I recently had The best experience than I have had in years with any doctor. Provider Stephanie and Dr Reyes went above and beyond. I saw Stephanie recently and she covered every area of my needs. She made sure my meds covered both stomach issues I was having. Then her assistant called me to see how I was feeling. The on call doctor explained everything to me and helped me understand my meds. I have a memory issue sometimes and needed to be reminded of reasons why. IDK but this is amazing and I am very impressed. They went above and beyond to help me.

Columbia wellness is 5 stars all across the board. The counselors are fantastic, and they are truly concerned about each patient. Tree House Recovery PDX saved my life. I hit a new rock bottom during the holidays. I was reluctant to going to a typical, 30-day, institutional rehab center like I did over the summer because that didn't work. But then I saw that Tree House was a three month program with a focus in physical exercise, writing, and learning to work as a team. My expectations weren't met -- they were exceeded. I recently graduated on April 3rd and am a better man now than I was before I started using and drinking. I've learned how to be empathetic, hold myself and others accountable, find gratitude in my daily life, lean on my teammates during times of struggle, and how to celebrate little and big wins in my life with healthy pride. The staff is amazing too. Rob, Nevin, Doug, Bryan and Kevin are all great men who are now role models in my life. They challenged me, listened to me, and gave me advice and suggestions I have taken to help me soar. If you're struggling, you don't have to do it alone. I would highly recommend this program for any man who is having trouble with addiction and needs to turn his life around. Thank you, Tree House.

My decision to attend treatment was one of the most important decisions of my life and I could not have made a better choice than Treehouse Recovery. This was my first time in treatment and I was terrified while researching places to go. From the very first phone call, the staff at Treehouse made me feel heard, supported, and helped to ease my mind that help was available and change was possible. I could tell from the initial conversations on the phone that was a place that truly cared for each and every client. That same empathetic and welcoming attitude was expressed and carried on at every other step of the process. Embarking on the treatment journey was a time in my life marked by fear and uncertainty but with Treehouse, I knew I had the best support possible and was certainly in great hands. Before Treehouse, I was living a miserable and isolated life and desperately needed help to get back on track. Throughout the course of the program, I was able to find a strong sense of discipline, integrity, and perseverance and as a result, rebuild myself into the best version of my self that has ever existed. Recovery is rarely a straight path. For me, it was marked by multiple attempts—each one beginning with hope and ending in frustration. I wanted sobriety, but wanting it and sustaining it were two very different things. Each setback carried shame, doubt, and the quiet fear that maybe lasting change just wasn’t meant for me. Six years ago, everything shifted—but not for me at first. It was my husband whose life was saved by Treehouse. At a time when things felt beyond repair, they stepped in and gave him not just support, but a real chance at living again. Watching his transformation planted a seed in me, even if I wasn’t ready to fully act on it yet. When I finally completed my own inpatient program, I was fragile but hopeful. Through my husband Treehouse met me right where I was offering suggestions for a straight transition into sober living for women, giving me a safe and structured environment where I could begin to rebuild. For a full year, I worked on myself in ways I never had before. During that time, Treehouse didn’t just check in—they actively supported my growth through their family program facilitating weekly therapy sessions that helped me understand myself, my patterns, and my path forward. Their presence didn’t end there. Years later, Treehouse was still standing beside our family during one of the most challenging chapters of our lives—our court-mandated reunification. They ensured our son had access to therapy, advocating for healing not just individually, but as a family. Their continued support reminded us that recovery is not a moment in time—it’s an ongoing journey, and no one should have to walk it alone. Counselor nodded out on me 😆 I like to believe he was on methadone or Suboxone but he literally asked me how long he was out when he came to. All while talking about super personal information... I've been there three times... Not since the 90s old location .. thank you Lord above.. Another time the guy had the exact same line "don't you want to go to the ocean and throw your girlfriend in it type of shit 😂" same guy ten years apart it was beyond memorable. But this place plants seeds that lead to a life of substance free Bliss!! The acupuncture in the AM and evening AA/NA Meetings meant everything to me.

I have been to several treatment centers in the Portland area over the past decade and this is the ONLY treatment center that I have EVER been able to both GET clean and STAY clean at! 1st time in 2018 (clean for 18 months) and now this time (started back here in 2023)..... So grateful for this place, it really did save my life.

The staff at Awakenings are the most caring, selfless, understanding people on the planet. Michelle is a godsend and worked so hard to get my sister the treatment she needed. She was in a dark place and is a very stubborn individual and coupled with alcohol addiction- she was a difficult patient to say the least. Michelle talked our family through all the steps to success and was there for us in every moment. I can not express the appreciation and gratitude I have for her. It is beyond words. She is the only person through our search to get her help that truly cared to see her succeed. She never gave up, even when Awakenings was not the best fit. She worked tirelessly to find the right placement for her and my sister is still alive today thanks to her diligence and support! Thank you!!!!

Awakenings By The Sea is exactly where I needed to be to be able to grasp the concept of true sobriety. From the minute I walked through the doors it was evident to me that this was a place that served those suffering from addiction. The staff are truly dedicated and I believe "called" to spread the message and help to others. The work was hard but sharing it with other women and recognizing their honesty, strength and willingness made it possible for me to do the work and do it with complete honesty. The AA meeting every morning at the Little Yellow House, Von and Shannon's delicious meals, the beach walks, gym time, bowling and movie time----were just what was needed to help in the beginning of healing. Jean who kept our home so clean and tidy and her wonderful sense of humor and stories.The counselors, nurses, admin., etc. are dedicated to each and every woman who comes through the doors. I am forever grateful for the gift of being able to walk through the doors and be a part of this blessed place. I look forward to seeing my Awakening Sisters in the future. I have been given the tools and healing time I was desperately in need of and I cannot thank them enough.

I strongly recommend Awakenings by the Sea for women’s only inpatient treatment! I went through the program about a year ago and miss it so much! It was a very formative part of my recovery and paved the way to successful sobriety. I wasn’t sure I would like it and there was a small conflict that arose between me and one of the staff members while I was there, but ultimately it all made me stronger. Tabitha is a no nonsense counselor, and she is great at finding potential cracks in your plan for sobriety and offering practical suggestions to surpass obstacles. The extracurricular activities are a big bonus… Like leisurely walks on the beach, weekend outings, in-house yoga and visits to the local gym. Patients also get to attend daily meetings at the Little Yellow House in Seaside, which is a world famous AA center. The community I found at Awakenings has stuck by my side and seen me through the good and the bad. I miss the routines, the dedicated staff, the other women, the powerfully moving group sessions, and the around the clock support for my sobriety. I haven’t needed to go back, but if I did, I would definitely choose Awakenings by the Sea for my recovery journey! 🌊💜💯
