My experience working on the vent unit was awesome. Great RTs, RNs, and CNAs. They were all knowledgeable and helpful to the best of their abilities. Definitely a great learning experience. I wouldn't hesitate to admit a family member to their ventilation unit.

November 21st, 2023 the day of my birthday. When i told everyone i am not feeling well. So, as I rested in my bedroom, feeling under the weather, I was abruptly unable to speak or move. Fortunately, my brother's swift action led him to call the ambulance, which rushed me to the Green Bay ICU to battle a respiratory flu and Covid. Subsequently, I was transferred to Mount View Care Center on Level 2, where I received outstanding care and support. And, I am forever more thankful for the care I received, particularly from Amy Martin, who demonstrated remarkable compassion and empathy. My experience with the ventilator community was profoundly inspiring, and I wouldn't change a thing. Much love and gratitude!

Wausau CTC is an amazing place to help one start the road to recovery. They have guided me through my journey in recovery and I'll forever be thankful to the staff. They offer many different types of groups to help clients learn how addiction works and how to overcome different situations and stay living a healthy balanced sober life. I don't have enough good words that I can say about my counselor (Michelle) She has gone above and beyond to help me.. Even with things that have nothing to do with the clinic.. If there's something that I need help with.. She's right there to help.. I've never had a counselor that I could depend on as much as I can depend on her (even a counselor outside of the clinic).. She's definitely number one.. I'm not saying that there aren't other good counselors, because there are a couple just not many.. The ONLY thing that I would change about the Wausau clinic is the callback situation.. I just don't think it's fair that I've been clean for over 4 years, with no dirty UAs.. No missed callbacks.. No missed counseling appointments.. N I'm still having to come back in every other take home for a callback.. I feel that after even 2 or 3 years of NO wright ups.. There should these some kind of incentive to keep doing good N you would only have a call back every other month or every 3 months.. It just makes it hard to live a normal life.. When you know you can't because you could always get that callback, N you have to be there the next day.. but other than that I LOVE WAUSAU COMPREHENSIVE TREATMENT CENTER..

Troy Lee and Sabrina Spatz are single-handedly the reason for the growth I've had in my mental health. To be honest based on the last place(arbor mental health services) I tried seeking help from with my mental health and the "answers" I got from that place made me very learly/nervous to reach out to anyone ever again to seek assistance with my mental health.Seeing the reveiws on NCHC made me even more worried that I was going to be treated like another number or just another person with a list of problems that don't matter. After a few sessions With Troy and Sabrina i realized quickly with how they communicated with me and how they treated me that I knew I was in the right place with people who actually cared and wanted to see my mental health successes.What Ive come to realize is that I get and understand the rap that this place gets. My overall experience with Central WI Counseling Associates - having both therapy and medication care - has been nothing but positive.1. The administrative team are pleasant, prompt, and treat me with respect. The atmosphere is calm and welcoming. I ve never experienced billing issues nor difficulties with scheduling an appointment.2. My therapist is an intuitive coach and empowering mentor. She listens, validates, and challenges me in all the ways needed. My sessions with her have led to increased self awareness and self love, and propel me to be my most authentic self. I am blessed to have such a skilled therapist in my corner.3. For about a year I d been considering whether to see a specialist about psychiatry medication but I never got myself to the point of taking action on it (partly due to stigma & worry). When I learned Justin Schuerman joined CWCA down the hall from my therapist, I decided to take the leap and ask for an appointment. After a very painful breakup/bankruptcy/termination/court order all within months of each other, I found myself fearing I was in a permanent downward spiral. I was questioning my own sanity and worth, and needing therapy. Thankfully, I turned to Central Wisconsin Counseling in Wisconsin Rapids. I was pleased that i was able to be scheduled for a prompt appointment. Dr. Roger has been a great help to me with healing and moving forward to becoming the best version of myself. Jeralyn is an angel!!! I started working with her at a previous clinic to address complex trauma about 7 years ago. At that time, I moved my sister into my one bedroom to help with expenses, was on short term disability, and applying for SSDI.As one might imagine with complex trauma, I had a lot of barriers to my healing. Jeralyn was patient with me when I came back with the same sh!t over and over. Jeralyn is compassionate; every time I pushed her away and isolated myself, she allowed me the space I needed to come back. Jeralyn is gracious because she never once made me feel shame for pushing her away or that I needed to change anything about me. She accepted me exactly as I am then, now, and each step of the way.Seven years later, I've stepped into my power. I've reconnected with my soul and found my purpose. I've become an amazing parent, started school, and launched a business. All seven years after I thought there was nothing left for me but miserable memories.It was a gift from The Universe having her help me to first heal then grow.
