Excellent medical facility with high-quality professionals. I’ve been treated here on a number of occasions for a variety of different issues, as well as my family members. My mom ended up coming here for an emergency triple A (Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm) she lost 5 liters of blood and Dr. Osborn and his team did an amazing job getting her back from death door. The care she has received has been outstanding. I don't understand how this hospital has the rating it does. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking such great care of my mom.

I have been going to Stein for almost 10yrs!!!! I love how they find you the person your gonna work with better or have no issues if you wanted to try someone new/else..& the owners CARE about making their business the BEST it can be for person.(who doesn't want that in a business?)...PLUS I hear they even have a MT(massage therapist)on staff talk about the PERFECT me day!!!! They have even added space & more staff, check out the new kids/family waiting area!
I have been to MANY different places over the years & this one is HANDS DOWN the BEST! I have no plans on leaving especially after I saw how dedicated they were to make sure EVERY client still got services during COVID(most times could only say that about restaurants & Nurses).
I see Brie & have no plans on changing or leaving her. Just when I am at my darkest she knows somehow what to say, give advice on to try, etc. She is SO SMART yet so down to earth. Works with every age group & each client is treated differently but that's what you want right what's best for you, advice/guidance when needed, there for you good & bad, etc. You honestly really feel cared about when you think no one else does. They/she figured out how many times to needed to be seen during each season/conditions. VERY flexible.
Lastly, I'd like to give a thanks to the WHOLE STEIN FAMILY for pouring your everything into starting Wisconsin's BEST & our areas #1C & CS LTD!!!

One surgery—two horror stories.
First, they told me the surgery would be a little over an hour. At hour 3, they hadn’t given me an update, so I just assumed my wife was dead and that they were just gathering the lawyers to inform me. Fortunately, she was alive, but the surgery was complicated. But what’s wrong with giving an update to the husband?
The second story was when the hospital accountant came in to see us while my wife was in recovery. She was watching my wife dry-heaving from pain while she talked to us. She said, “Her Medicare doesn’t cover all her meds. If you don’t sign this paper, we can’t give her anymore medication.” SHE SAID THIS WHILE WATCHING MY WIFE DRY-HEAVING FROM PAIN! That’s some stuff that organized crime would do. Unbelievable.

We had a good experience with our loved one's care after they were transferred to this hospital by ambulance from a therapy center. The nurses and doctors were caring and compassionate. One day the kitchen sent up cookies and coffee to our room while our family was spending time visiting, which was a nice caring touch. I would not hesitate to send a loved one here when they are in need of medical care. They aren't a large big city hospital full of many specialists but they are probably one of the best in the area. NW WI is lucky to have them. I'd keep driving past some of the incompetent clinics and hospitals, especially in Rusk Co, and just show up here. All our loved one's needs were met with competence and care. We had full confidence while we were gone that our loved one was comfortable and attended to properly.

Just want to thank nurse Maddie & Allie in ICU/critical care unit, on Jan 15,16,17, 2024 for taking good care of my son Christopher Boo. He was admitted on Jan 14th-20th in for a week. Got sick while visiting in town. I live in Tennessee. Those 2 Ladies call me letting me know his condition. I couldn't get there town snow in, airports shut down. I prayed for my son to breath again. Mistreated and not listened to at all. Was judged and flagged over medication that was prescribed to me 8 years ago from a doctor from mayo clinic with a PhD. I was judged over this medication that was prescribed to me rather than helped or diagnosed with actual symptoms or problems that are occuring in my life. Horrible service and would not recommend.
