I recently seen Dr Jeffrey Rothweiler to have a mental exam to be approved for an upcoming procedure. This was my first experience seeing a clinical psychologist. Dr Rothweiler was very knowledgeable and was very patient. I left there knowing more than before I arrived to my appointment. I hugging recommended him. Thank you for the extra time you took to explain things to me.

The doctors are withdrawn into a fantasy of how to make appeals to courts and testify the best they can about all the reason's there is a problem. Also remember there has never been a 5-star inpatient unit. The U.S. is swamped with mental health needs and are short staffed to meet the demands. Good Job Aspirus.

I seen phychotherapist Susie Rood. I had a decent experience with her. She went on medical leave I was told when she came back she would be reaching out to schedule appointments. She came back and had not reached out for a week. I reached out multiple time and got no one which could very well be that they were on lunch or busy. When I did get through to someone I was told that her schedule was full and the receptionist would need to speak with Susie to see if she could put me back on her schedule. I reached out for 2 days and was told she would call me back. When I received no call back I went there on 4/17 and was told that there was a letter that was sent put but the receptionist didn't know what it said but that Susie was with a client and would be done with 20 minutes and would be out to speak with me so I could wait if I wanted to. So I waited. Once she was done and came to speak with me Susie told me that she didn't think I needed therapy anymore. I said thank you and walked out. I received the letter they sent me today stating that they no longer accept my secondary insurance. Which was badgercare. They said nothing about my primary and never asked me the multiple times if called or the time I went in that my insurance was an issue. This was very unprofessional and I will never recommend this place to anyone. The fact that she told me she thinks I don't need therapy instead of telling me that my insurance was very unprofessional.

I don't recommend for any of your children. I myself was stuck there for a period of time. The people here should not be in charge of struggling children. "Tough love" and emotional agony are two separate things. I have been diagnosed with POTS now, at this period in my life the facilitator convinced my family I was being "overdramatic" and was simply using my chronic illness as a manipulation tactic. This facility taught me how to recognize the abuse of power. There's a "break" room in this facility, a boy who was soon to be discharged needed a break. He was told that if he didn't face the conversation and engage then and now he would be kept for longer. Bear in mind he needed a break due to the negativity being forced on him by surrounding people. If you think this will help your kids, it won't. They will fake it and change who they are just to escape. If you think it helped, it didn't. All it did was teach them to keep their emotions pushed down. It teaches children to hide, and how to be SILENT.

Most of these photos of the clinic on the Google search ain't even the Green Bay building. May be of another location.
This clinic saved my life. Plain & simple.
There's always gonna be downfalls to every solution - you're never gonna get a perfect remedy...however, the downfalls are worth the outcome. Anything is better than living as a slave to opiates. Addiction doesn't discriminate...it'll get anyone of any age, race, background, etc. Demographics don't matter. So don't judge those who are seeking treatment. Be happy they're getting help. Also, don't assume everyone that attends these clinics are low-life criminals. We have all walks of Life come here for treatment. Nurses, veterans, business men/women, & even grandfathers/grandmothers. People you wouldn't think would be in this situation. We even have patients who were on pain meds for cancer & other severe medical conditions prescribed by their doctor -- only to be left in the dust with a physical addiction to those medications. Addiction isn't always mental or psychological. If you're battling addiction yourself & have failed other typical treatments - Medication Assisted Treatment may be the answer. I do believe it should be used only after failing the other traditional methods.

We have been licensed foster parents in different states, as well as at the county level vs a 3rd party organization like Foundations, and Foundations has been nothing short of amazing to work with. From their thorough onboarding process, to the continuous support we receive, I highly recommend Foundations to any family/person interested in becoming foster parents. Every staff member we have interacted with has been a wonderful and you can tell loves their job, which I think also speaks volumes. I could go on and on about our experience and the difference we have experienced between the county level and working with Foundations (and we didn't have a negative experience when licensed at the county level, it just wasn't anywhere near the same as our experience with Foundations).

My overall experience with Central WI Counseling Associates - having both therapy and medication care - has been nothing but positive.
1. The administrative team are pleasant, prompt, and treat me with respect. The atmosphere is calm and welcoming. I’ve never experienced billing issues nor difficulties with scheduling an appointment.
2. My therapist is an intuitive coach and empowering mentor. She listens, validates, and challenges me in all the ways needed. My sessions with her have led to increased self awareness and self love, and propel me to be my most authentic self. I am blessed to have such a skilled therapist in my corner.
3. For about a year I’d been considering whether to see a specialist about psychiatry medication but I never got myself to the point of taking action on it (partly due to stigma & worry). When I learned Justin Schuerman joined CWCA down the hall from my therapist, I decided to take the leap and ask for an appointment. — This was one of the best decisions I’ve made for myself in a long time. Justin has proven to be knowledgeable, experienced and skilled in his specialty while also being kind, considerate and demonstrating genuine interest and commitment toward my wellbeing and success. Talking to him is easy, I never feel rushed or unheard. I appreciate the time he takes to answer my questions and discuss options in a way that makes sense.
If you’ve been considering seeing a therapist for counseling or a specialist for psychiatry medication, don’t put it off. There are good people out there doing great things for their clients, and I can personally attest to at least two of them at CWCA!

I cannot say enough great things about Central Wisconsin Counseling!! After a very painful breakup/bankruptcy/termination/court order all within months of each other, I found myself fearing I was in a permanent downward spiral. I was questioning my own sanity and worth, and needing therapy. Thankfully, I turned to Central Wisconsin Counseling in Wisconsin Rapids. I was pleased that i was able to be scheduled for a prompt appointment. Dr. Roger has been a great help to me with healing and moving forward to becoming the best version of myself. I was referred for a mental health evaluation, at my request, and look forward to my continued sessions with Dr. Roger as he is helping me to find the self I have lost. He has a professional, yet casual way of assisting me to find peace and love for myself, for which, i cannot express my gratitude enough. Booking appointments is easy and convenient and the staff goes above and beyond for their clients. The office, itself, is a very professional setting, but also has a comfort that puts you at ease-a necessity for me when I am most vulnerable.
Literal. Lifesavers. Therapy is not something to fear or turn away from. If you are seeking help, I strongly recommend Central Wisconsin Counseling.
