Dr. Dyksterhouse is an amazing doctor. My family and I care for my Grandmother that has Alzheimer's. Dr. D is her primary care physician. His lighthearted wit and excellent bedside manor always put my Grandmother at ease. He is patient and we never feel rushed when we have office visits. He responds quickly to our messages and is never bothered by any amount questions or concerns that we may have. Dr. D has been an invaluable resource when it comes to connecting us with people to help us manage situations we are unable to manage alone. And because of the staff and their compassion and kindness that I am, who I am today. I was able to graduate high school and get my diploma, had I gone home that never would have been possible. The care that is given to the children there is without a doubt extraordinary. I’ve spent my whole life in the system, YDS and their staff were the only ones to treat me like a person and not a case number or a “troubled kid”. Not all group homes or facilities in the state of Wyoming cared much for kids like me, YDS was the only place that was able to help me. For that they have my gratitude and respect for life.
