It would be dramatic to say that Spirit Mountain Recovery saved my life, BUT they did provide the compass and leadership that lead me along the path to self discovery and healing I so desperately needed to actually begin living life. The staff are almost entirely in recovery themselves or have worked in that field for many years, and most of those in recovery (all but one FT staff member) went through Spirit Mountain. As such, they were not only qualified to light the way but have also lived the journey firsthand and so were able to easily see the pitfalls and challenges that inevitably present themselves and demonstrated daily how to navigate them effectively. All of the activities were ultimately based on learning to live a satisfying life of recovery--living with purpose and joy through connection, willing honesty, and discomfort (where growth happens) without the need for substances to alter what I am truly feeling and thinking in the moment. Being active is an important aspect of the experience at Spirit Mountain, and for me that was hugely beneficial because my addictions sucked all of the pleasures of life from me, I no longer desired to do anything but feed the beast. I highly recommend considering Spirit Mountain Recovery if you desire to find out once again, or possibly for the first time, what life can and should be lived like.

We recently had the opportunity to work alongside Spirit Mountain Recovery | Men's Addiction Treatment, installing a wall charger at their facility. The staff is all amazing

I was in Acqua October 2024 and the staff was amazing. They listened to what the clients had to say. The one thing Acqua offered that not a lot of the other places did is dual diagnosis. Not only do they treat addiction but the helped me get on meds that worked for me. I loved that I didnt get the 12 steps shoved down my throat. I liked my counselors and the staff helped me get everything lined out to go home in another state. I'm been sober for 9 months now.

My loved one came in Nov 23 and left in Feb 24. If you’re loved one struggles with addiction and is looking for hope this is place to go!!! I did a family week around Christmas. I will tell you that it was an enlightening experience for me. The lectures were amazing, family systems is by far my favorite. I opened my mind to concepts and thoughts I had been unwilling to look at for decades. Thank you!

What an incredible journey recovery has been! I came to this place—and wow, I’ve never experienced anything so beautiful in my life. The people who work here are truly extraordinary—so kind, compassionate, and full of love. Honestly, they feel like angels walking among us. I’ve never felt so deeply cared for and loved by people who didn’t even know me.

Pinnacle Recover is amazing. All of the staff go over the top to meet your expectations. The program gives you everything you need to achieve your goals and gives you all the tools you need to help you in recovery. The food is outstanding, Chef Ed is so compassionate about his cooking. I've never had a well balanced diet as good as it was at Pinnacle. The activities you get to enjoy are so much fun. Sober softball, hiking, bowling, batting cages, ice baths, open mic night are some of my favorites. The facility is more than adequate, its an amazing house that is filled with comfort. Overall, Pinnacle has changed my life in so many positive ways. I feel as if my life is starting over and I get the opportunity to be happy again. Shout out to Katie my therapist for all the help and knowledge she has given me. I'm ready to go out into the world and face all the challenges it brings head on. Thank you Pinnacle!!

The Chateau has been instrumental in my growth and continued recovery. The staff and therapists humanized my experience from day one, providing a safe and supportive space where I could begin to rediscover my whole self. Through multiple modalities, I was able to process and begin healing from both deep-rooted and secondary traumas—some of which I had carried for far too long in silence. What sets Chateau apart is their unwavering support even after treatment ends. Their commitment to alumni care reminds us we’re never walking this road alone. I’ve continued to grow, and while I still face struggles, the ongoing alumni meetings, reunion, and check-ins have helped me feel held and connected. There’s a true family and community feel that stays with you. I even had the chance to visit the beautiful new facility—and walking through those doors felt like coming home. I truly owe my life to Chateau! I have been to Chateau twice after severely struggling and ended up spending almost three months total there. I was very anxious not being a first responder or veteran and much younger than many of those there. The second I walked through the front door, I felt safe. Clients and staff didn’t not care that I was neither of those things. Through the help of Chateau, I found the motivation and will to stay alive and sober. I started to discover my authentic self and be happy with who I was. Chateau helped me in so many ways and will never be able to express the amount of gratitude I have for the facility, staff and clients. I am grateful, happy, and hopeful. Before I arrived at Ardu' I was lost in pain and self destruction. From day one I felt recognized not just as a patient but as a person. The Ardu' staff was professional, kind, and compassionate. The meals compared to a five star restaurant, and the classes were engaging and motivational. Ardu literally saved my life. Ardu is just not a business with employees. It is a home with family. They truly care about your wellbeing and will do everything in their power to help you. They show you ow to live life again in healthy ways. If you want to get clean this is the place to go. I am almost 2 years clean and I know there is no way I would have made it with out them.

Help! I've fallen and I can't get up...

First step gave me my sobriety and I cannot put a price on that. I am at the 411 house... One month left to go. I cannot stress enough how much life has changed. I am now clean and free from addiction. They set you up with dental assistance, an optometrist, as well as safe housing transitions. Thank you to the staff!!! They truly care...most of them have survived the battle with addiction..stay blessed!!

I love this VA hospital and their staff. Sure, the facility is showing it's age and scheduling can be frustrating. Don't blame the hospital or it's staff. The current administration froze hiring and most areas are under staffed. The only thing wrong with the VA is funding. Be an advocate. Get involved. Write our congressional delegation.

I've been receiving care at the VA and also at the University of Utah medical center for the last 20 years. Both facilities provide excellent service, and with Dr training programs at the U that have rotations at the VA veterans get exposure to the world class research going on. There are two areas that the VA actually excels at and exceeds the U: Mental Health and Whole Health/ Mindfulness departments offer help for veterans that cannot be found across the street. Veterans are given the tools that promote wellness and prevention of illness. The notion from years past that the VA was a place to be avoided needs to be dispelled.

This program by far is the best Rehab facility in the country. My life was changed after being there for 56 days. The professional staff, attention to detail, intense therapy, and process groups all helped in my transformation on my road in recovery. They also included my family in the process, because this is a family dis-ease… I highly recommend Cirque…if you seriously want to stop drinking or drugging, are willing to be openminded, honest, and willing…this is the place for you.
