I have been being treated for grief and separation anxiety of my wife of 37 years. I have been seeing Gabby. She has been so awesome. Easy to talk to, empathetic, and uplifting. Her counciling methods include coping methods that are effective and are practical and work. Her positive attitude is infectious and really helps.

The fine people here really do just want to help those who need it. Their services are rendered with compassion and strictness. If you do not find yourself giving 5 stars, then you might not have put in 5 star effort on your end.

I've had the pleasure of meeting and receiving counseling from Julia Murray. I was a bit nervous at first after reading the reviews but my experience with her was completely different from everyone else. Julia was very understanding, caring, helpful and super informative of my options with dealing with my issues. I would definitely recommend her, especially with situations that may need legal help. My only complaint would be that they are only open Monday through Thursday, other than that, she is a great counselor to meet with.

It would be dramatic to say that Spirit Mountain Recovery saved my life, BUT they did provide the compass and leadership that lead me along the path to self discovery and healing I so desperately needed to actually begin living life. The staff are almost entirely in recovery themselves or have worked in that field for many years, and most of those in recovery (all but one FT staff member) went through Spirit Mountain. As such, they were not only qualified to light the way but have also lived the journey firsthand and so were able to easily see the pitfalls and challenges that inevitably present themselves and demonstrated daily how to navigate them effectively. All of the activities were ultimately based on learning to live a satisfying life of recovery--living with purpose and joy through connection, willing honesty, and discomfort (where growth happens) without the need for substances to alter what I am truly feeling and thinking in the moment. Being active is an important aspect of the experience at Spirit Mountain, and for me that was hugely beneficial because my addictions sucked all of the pleasures of life from me, I no longer desired to do anything but feed the beast. I highly recommend considering Spirit Mountain Recovery if you desire to find out once again, or possibly for the first time, what life can and should be lived like.

Spirit Mountain Recovery was nothing short of a life saver for me. This is where my sobriety journey began, though I did not complete my month here and stay sober I have now been sober for two and a half years and I would love to work for these guys one day.

I did a family week around Christmas. I will tell you that it was an enlightening experience for me. The lectures were amazing, family systems is by far my favorite. I opened my mind to concepts and thoughts I had been unwilling to look at for decades.

Wow, what an amazing time I have had! Flying in from North Carolina, MK, Sean and Becca were really helpful and respectful of my needs for sobriety. MK, guided me through Admissions and played a key part during my time at Pinnacle.
I was worried at first that this facility was just like any other rehabs. Just a common money grab, but to my surprise Pinnacle really wants the best for you. After coming from NextStep Detox, I was greeted by Anthony and Sean! They gave me a great orientation and the clients gave me a warm welcome! Becca and Sean over saw our programming and were very helpful with personal development and were very attentive regarding outside needs during treatment. If I needed to see my legal team or doctors, etc. Becca and Sean would take took time out of their schedule to assist me.
The support staff are very friendly, they treated me like I was their best friend. If I got out of line the support staff would help correct me in a way that wasn’t punitive. Anthony and Brooke are both in recovery and so is most staff, they really cared about your sobriety, and will guide you through recovery.
The food scene is amazing, nutritious and very healthy. Chef Ed is off the chart, a great chef. I’m not a salmon fan, but he made me a delicious meal to substitute for Salmon! Chef Ed picks fresh foods, so nothing is old or boring!
The Interns, and therapists really want to see you be successful. My therapist Julie has gone above and beyond when it came to help my mental health. Her approach to mental health is really awe inspiring. I really appreciate Cassie, Cory and Londyn help as well! The activities are made to help you feel comfortable while working on yourself.
Troy, MK, Sean and Becca have built a truly remarkable treatment facility. From Mental Health treatment, to the recreational activities, their passion to help clients are more than I expected. I’m forever grateful to the love and caring team members at Pinnacle for my journey through Sobriety.

Pinnacle Recover is amazing. All of the staff go over the top to meet your expectations. The program gives you everything you need to achieve your goals and gives you all the tools you need to help you in recovery. The food is outstanding, Chef Ed is so compassionate about his cooking. I've never had a well balanced diet as good as it was at Pinnacle. The activities you get to enjoy are so much fun. Sober softball, hiking, bowling, batting cages, ice baths, open mic night are some of my favorites. The facility is more than adequate, its an amazing house that is filled with comfort. Overall, Pinnacle has changed my life in so many positive ways. I feel as if my life is starting over and I get the opportunity to be happy again. Shout out to Katie my therapist for all the help and knowledge she has given me. I'm ready to go out into the world and face all the challenges it brings head on.

Alpine taught me so much about myself and how to handle others. Great experience, always an activity happening. The staff genuinely cares and will bend over backwards for anyone. I want to take a moment to highly recommend Chateau for any first responder or veteran who may be struggling and in need of inpatient support. My experience there was truly life-changing. From the moment I arrived, I felt safe, supported, and genuinely cared for. The staff went above and beyond to create an environment that was compassionate, professional, and focused on healing.
Every member of the team — from the counselors to the support staff — treated me with respect and understanding. They took the time to listen, to guide me through difficult moments, and to help me find practical tools to manage my challenges. The treatment programs were well-structured and personalized, addressing not just the symptoms but the underlying issues as well.
The facility itself was comfortable and welcoming, and the sense of community among residents made a tremendous difference in my recovery. I left feeling stronger, more self-aware, and better equipped to continue my progress.

The Chateau has been instrumental in my growth and continued recovery. Through multiple modalities, I was able to process and begin healing from both deep-rooted and secondary traumas—some of which I had carried for far too long in silence.

I’ve continued to grow, and while I still face struggles, the ongoing alumni meetings, reunion, and check-ins have helped me feel held and connected. I truly owe my life to Chateau! I have been to Chateau twice after severely struggling and ended up spending almost three months total there. I was very anxious not being a first responder or veteran and much younger than many of those there. The second I walked through the front door, I felt safe. Clients and staff didn’t not care that I was neither of those things.
Through the help of Chateau, I found the motivation and will to stay alive and sober. I started to discover my authentic self and be happy with who I was. Chateau helped me in so many ways and will never be able to express the amount of gratitude I have for the facility, staff and clients.
They are accommodating to all needs and are truly there to help you become better.
I highly recommend this amazing place to anyone who is struggling!

Ardu literally saved my life. Ardu is just not a business with employees. It is a home with family. They truly care about your wellbeing and will do everything in their power to help you. They show you ow to live life again in healthy ways. If you want to get clean this is the place to go. I am almost 2 years clean and I know there is no way I would have made it with out them.
I came to Deer Hollow carrying years of unresolved trauma and symptoms that had taken over my life. I had tried therapy before, but nothing reached the root of what I was dealing with until I walked through their doors. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel safe, grounded, and understood in a way I hadn’t experienced anywhere else.
Residential treatment was intense, structured, and emotionally heavy at times — but it was also exactly what I needed. The trauma-focused work, especially IFS, helped me understand why I reacted the way I did, where my patterns came from, and how to work with the parts of myself that had been stuck for so long. The therapists were incredibly skilled, patient, and compassionate. They didn’t just teach me tools; they helped me truly heal.
Moving through the step-down levels of care gave me time and support to practice what I was learning while still having a clinical team behind me. Each phase built on the one before it, and for the first time, I felt real change happening — not temporary relief, but deep, foundational healing.
Deer Hollow didn’t just help me manage my trauma; they helped me reclaim my life. I’m grateful every day that I made the decision to go.

When you are serious about recovery come to Deer Hollow. It will not be easy, but it will be worth it. I am a Paramedic that came up in the time of “stuff those emotions down”, I’m here to tell you that does not work. They come back with a vengeance and hopefully you don’t take your own life before you get help. Give Deer Hollow a chance, The staff is top notch and they have been through similar stuff and achieved Victory. You will be with peers going through the same stuff, no matter what their background we are more alike than different. I thank the people of Deer Hollow for saving my life. So far I have been attending Pomarri Treatment center for about a month at the Orem location. From silver creek to the Pomarri treatment this place is my “saving grace” . Every single person from what I can see really cares about each and every single client that walks through that door. I have been to a handful of treatments throughout my addiction and by far this one is the best. I literally look forward to coming to group!!! In a month I have learned so many crucial and valuable skills already, from coping skills, DBT skills and really life skills . I’m excited to see what the rest of my journey will be here but one thing is for sure if you are looking for a treatment that’s different from the traditional treatments that takes medicaid then give Pomarri a shot !!
First step gave me my sobriety and I cannot put a price on that. I am at the 411 house... One month left to go. I cannot stress enough how much life has changed. I am now clean and free from addiction. They set you up with dental assistance, an optometrist, as well as safe housing transitions. Thank you to the staff!!! They truly care...most of them have survived the battle with addiction..stay blessed!!

I went to Dental for the first time yesterday and I must say fantastic! Dr Chen, assistant Sam and my hygienist (hard to know her name with a mask and she’s quiet) but so great. Including the staff at the desk. One and all so so great! I use the VA only recently and so far I’m so impressed!! Never a bad experience including phone calls. Have heard of horror stories with VA institutions but not my experience. Thank you!

This program by far is the best Rehab facility in the country. My life was changed after being there for 56 days. The professional staff, attention to detail, intense therapy, and process groups all helped in my transformation on my road in recovery. From the moment I arrived, the entire staff made me feel like I was their top priority. They were incredibly personable, taking the time to chat with me, answer all my questions, and ease any pre-surgery nerves with genuine warmth and kindness.

I was napping and a heavy pressure was surging in my chest that wouldn’t subside, along with trouble breathing. The ER got me in quick and stabilized my vitals….stayed overnight to have a Nuclear Stress test next morning. All ares of medical expertise, from aides, nurses, doctors & technicians were considerate, helpful & timely.

Even just in the few months I attended IOP there. More so than I was ever able to obtain at any of my other programs.
My therapist was absolutely amazing, and they all worked extremely hard to make sure I had everything I needed. The Dr's and all the staff are very kind and knowledgeable. They genuinely want to help people who are struggling. It's a different kind of program in its very own special way and I greatly recommend it to anyone struggling. The staff is great about helping you navigate your way so you are able to receive the most beneficial treatment for yourself. I encourage you not to hesitate to call. My LO never had the opportunity to receive treatment here, but I can't say enough good things about Natalia who works at intake. My son was arrested due to his mental illness. In a frustrating system, Natalia was a shining light who worked hard to help my son get treatment instead of prison. She wrote multiple letters to the judge, New Roads came out and did assessments and validated my questions and concerns. If the actual facility listens and cares like she did, I am sure the place would be amazing. It came highly recommended to me from various parents whose loved one's were able to recover, thanks to New Roads. I truly wish my son could have received the help that he needs from a place like this. Unfortunately, our country still has a long way to go in the criminalization of those suffering with a serious mental illness. Thanks New Roads for all that you tried to do and especially Natalia.

I feel very grateful for Brandon Morgan’s careful, and thoughtful treatment of me at a very fragile place in my life. He was very compassionate and present with me. Ha saw me…. That’s so important to be seen. And he saw me. He saw past other peoples assumptions of me, and confirmed where I was really at. I Gained so much more confidence because of his care filled treatment.
