They set they residents up for success. Simple rules, some just don't follow them. You get what you put into it. It's much better than the alternative, hands down. Great leadership.

I’ve visited the Gillette, Wyoming VA clinic a handful of times over the past months, and I’ve only had excellent and thorough care and experiences with the workers and facility. With the appointments I’ve had, and the employees I’ve encountered, I’m more than confident with my care being in their hands.

I had the honor and privilege of spending time with the community at VOA while in Wyoming. I have never felt so welcomed by staff and clients. Samantha the clinical director went out of her way to fill me with as much knowledge as possible during my short stay. Beth is a godson to the community. I was in awe when the clients shared their stories with me and watched them participate in there own recovery. This place is magical! I have worked in treatment for many years and have never seen the level of unselfishness that is flowing through those halls. Thank you VOA for all that you do and lives you save and change. MJ

Northern Wyoming has been the best thing that has happened in my life. Between the therapists and the peer specialists there I have been able to find a new way of living and remaining sober. Even when I have made mistakes they have stuck right by my side making sure that they never gave up on me. If it wasn't for the help I've received I have no idea where my life would be but I know the quality of it would be no where near where it is today.

They have been a tremendous help to me. And are a large part of my success!

I can't say enough about how they have helped me. My Caseworker Tony is absolutely amazing! He definitely goes above and beyond his duties I don't think I could have ever made it through the Darkness and pain without him! 5 Stars isn't enough I'd give West River a million if I could, thank you for everything! The only down fall is the Caseworkers load are very heavy. That would be the only thing I'd change. Thank you West River Mental Health I appreciate you!

I’ve been here a couple times, and the counselor that I had just didn’t genuinely care about why I was there and seemed annoyed through the entirety of the time I was present and talking. Just seem to be a bunch of money hungry people. Wouldn’t recommend going here if you’re trying to find a good counselor and someone to listen to you. They also weren’t up front with me that I apparently wasn’t at the right place to get what I was looking for....instead the counselor decided took me through a questionnaire that wasn’t exactly related to why I was there and decided to wait until the end to tell me they couldn’t help me, which to me just shows they just wanted my money and didn’t necessarily care about helping me in general. Word of advice, just go somewhere else.

I have been going to Ideal Options for a couple of years. It's been a good experience. No complaints.

My provider, Michelle is awesome, always has time for me. I never feel rushed. Listens, and always has great feedback. Lucky to have her as my provider.

I enjoyed every single program about this place while I went there. I loved all my teachers and wished I could stay there.. But I did have a friend that went there who had his knees slammed backwards for a restraint and broken by a teacher there. There was nothing that could be done because of the legal paperwork that parents sign. 🤔 I enjoyed my time there tho. Just feel bad for other kids who weren't so lucky.

I'm now 40 and came to this place back in 1999. I hated being there but to be fair didn't have much to complain about. Bt time is been there 6ish months I didn't want to leave. I learn so much being there that I'm still grateful to this day. I earned freedom to walk the grounds unsupervised with permission as well as helping give tours to potential clients. I rode horses often did cattle branding of calves of course and did artificial insemination. I did small engines and wood working along with horticulture which were all a blast. There was a lot that happened in the dorms with the girls but what do you expect when you have so many girls with sick am array of issues. A huge part of getting something from these programs is if you want to. If your ready to get better. The staff members were all fabulous I can't think of anyone who I didn't like. I always felt genuine concern from them. I was even given the privilege to go off campus 1x a week to do gymnastics. I still to this day have small decorated box given to me as a gift upon leaving from a staff member named Marilyn. When you opened it it has a tiny box with a small now that says it was filled with her love. I'm not sure what has happened but, this place turned my life around and who know where it be today without it. So Thank you so so so much. Sorry for the delayed post lol.

YBGR was lowkey really nice, I loved it there. The food isn’t top tier but it’s a pretty good treatment place in my opinion. Sometimes there’s some stupid and scary stuff that will happen like fights, but it is to be expected in treatment. But I liked it and I felt it was useful in the long run. I struggled with some staff but I really loved my staff in my lodge. Also, you will get consequences/accountability's for not following the rules, but I think it’s a good thing set in place to hold people accountable. (I’ve gotten a bit of a fair share of consequences so it’s from experience). The place really helped my confidence and mental health without making me a med zombie. They have a Chemical Dependency program and AA to try to help kids who struggle with substance abuse issues and they have very kind counselors with CD. Cheryl was my CD counselor and I felt like she listened to me. Also thankyou to my PM Emily and my favorite day staff Marcos and overnight Zach! They did a lot for me then they might’ve realized. Honest, treatment only works if your kid wants to work it. You can fight it and be miserable, or you can try to participate. And if you do, you’ll likely get somewhere. Please don’t blame the staff and foundation for the outcome, treatment can only work if you have the desire to get better. I was in Shumaker lodge!! 24-25

Ron Brock is my Primary and he is amazing. He listens and is knowledgeable. I feel like I'm getting the best medical care. I recommend Ron Brock as a Primary Provider.

This is a great place except for Jenny the Navigator when I decided to check myself out she was the reason This woman lied to me and shouted out in front of all the other girls that This place was better than jail for me which I am not looking at any jail time I checked myself in and then lied to my mom about who picked me up I was picked up by wyo rides not my husband in a red van which she would not know seeing how she doesn't work past 7pm and I left at 1030 at night and it's on video how I left this woman will bring the whole house down with her lied it's supposed to be a safe place but it's not while Jenny is working there she is not a good person at all other wise people are wonderful and really work hard for you but of you go and you ate given Jenny as a navigator leave and leave fast

VOA is an good place to do treatmen and has helped me out alot.

They have been a great help and are always ready to offer assistance whenever they can. I am very happy with their services.

I've been going to this place for several years now, and believe it marks a difference in your life. Their transitional living facilities and crisis care are top notch, believe me. You can start all over again in here
