I have actively tried to recover from addiction for more than 10 years. Southwest Counseling was my 7th attempt at treatment. I failed to get what I needed to recover from 6 previous treatment centers across the country. Countless thousands of dollars were spent in an attempt to relieve my suffering from Alcoholism. It wasn’t until attending the Therapeutic Community Program at Southwest Counseling Service (S.C.S) that a solution was found. I can unequivocally and without a doubt say that S.C.S has saved my life. This program works. If you or a loved one is suffering from addiction I highly recommend S.C.S. be your first and likely only place to receive assistance in overcoming the effects of this illusive disease. Through the program I was able to discover the underlying cause of my ailment and more importantly how to navigate life without the need of substances to make life more bearable. It is in fact a difficult program, but a difficult problem demands a complex solution and is well worth the short term discomfort to achieve lifelong happiness. I only wish someone had ushered me to S.C.S sooner, I know a lot of heartbreak and suffering could have been spared. MY OLD MENTAL DOCTOR RECIEVED A 10 Star from me.The lady at the front desk on College Hill who was the secratary admission clerk receives A 5 star.The counselor receives a 1 star.The Bupropian is Working Doctor.The ladies at ankeny And whoever closed my case without sending me a letter or assuring I was contacted receive A 1 star.THE TREATNENT CENTER FINALLY RECIEVES A 10 STAR .That's after A 4 year wait. THE BUPRION WELLBUTRIN WORKS Mental DOCTOR .I'm still using old meds that you prescribed to me that are expired from 2016.Now I need a smoking cessation that does not do anything like a sugar pill.I HAVE BEEN TAKING DAILY MY OLDEST MEDS FIRSTWELLBITRIN 300 LIKE YOU SAID.Thank You.But now I am suffering from post traumatic stress and stress and anxiety. I WONT TAKE THE SEROQUEL THATS WHY THE BUPROPIAN DIDNT WORK .I don't even get headaches from the wellbutrin.It doesn't do anything but stop my hunger. HELLO Its 2022.I am ok.

I have been being treated for grief and separation anxiety of my wife of 37 years. I have been seeing Gabby. She has been so awesome. Easy to talk to, empathetic, and uplifting. Her counciling methods include coping methods that are effective and are practical and work. Her positive attitude is infectious and really helps. My journey with High County Behavioral Health has been life changing. I started coming to counseling sessions over 2 years ago with many issues that I thought were not issues in my life. I have seen several counselors due to retirement (Tereasa) moving to Alabama (Jason) to my current counselor (Sarah) who have been game changers for me. Through their dedication expertise understanding empathy care concern shall I go on.....their mindfulness witty always there for you environment has meant the world to me. Candice who is behind the scenes also has a place in my heart. The organization of 1-1 Counseling and the MRT DBT Group therapy classes are what make my mental health healthy!!!! I am so glad I started working with High Country Behavior Health for my mental health needs. My therapist, Charity, has literally saved my mental health and has provided me the tools to enhance how I approach emotionally trying times. It is always a pleasure to see Dawn and Tammy at reception when I come in as well. I can't say enough about my positive experiences with this facility and highly recommend to anyone needing some extra help with their mental health.

I've had the pleasure of meeting and receiving counseling from Julia Murray. I was a bit nervous at first after reading the reviews but my experience with her was completely different from everyone else. Julia was very understanding, caring, helpful and super informative of my options with dealing with my issues. I would definitely recommend her, especially with situations that may need legal help. My only complaint would be that they are only open Monday through Thursday, other than that, she is a great counselor to meet with.

I have been being treated for grief and separation anxiety of my wife of 37 years. I have been seeing Gabby. She has been so awesome. Easy to talk to, empathetic, and uplifting. This place is by far and I mean by far the place you send your child when as a parent you have become so self absorbed with yourself, your money or your own life when your child doesn't conform to your lifestyle and has become a liabilty to you, also when you can manipulate the court system to show your hatred of the person you decided to have the child with and decide to send them to this out in the middle of nowhere godforsaken facility. When you send your son to this facilty you can guarantee that he will be surrounded by adults that have no caring or show the least of compassion to your son and if by chance the child has some type of a learning issue you have not found the right individuals to help your child, however large or small that is. This place isnt cheap either, so what the need for such large sums of money that is payed for being that there is no place to spend it, is confusing So lest be known to all that when you send your child here he will be bullied and surrounded by predators (other students), and you have failed as a parent.....and more than likely your child will see as they grow older the same uncaring coldness that you had when you sent your child here...

I've been a fan of Jaywalker Lodge for years, and my respect for what they've built has only grown over time. As a fellow behavioral health professional who has referred clients to Jaywalker and spent time on the ground in Carbondale with their team, I've had a front-row seat to what this program actually produces, and it's the real thing. Let me start with the obvious: the location is extraordinary. Carbondale is one of the most beautiful places in this country, and Jaywalker leverages that setting in a way that actually matters clinically. Their clients aren't just staring at mountains, they're experiencing all that incredible place has to offer (skiing, mountain biking, etc.). That connection to the outdoors isn't a selling point, it's part of how men rediscover what it feels like to be alive. But what makes Jaywalker truly exceptional isn't the scenery, it's the community. Carbondale has embraced this program in a way I've never seen in any other treatment market. You can't walk through town without running into an alumnus who stayed, built a life, found work, and put down roots. I've seen this firsthand - walking those streets, talking with people who came for treatment and never left because they finally had something worth staying for. That kind of living proof is rare and powerful. I've sat with their clinical and leadership team, seen how they operate up close, and walked away more impressed each time. My daughter has been struggling up an down and all around, n I still am working on her to finally surrender, but I want to give a review on Charles. Charles is amazing, he has called me at 10:30 pm he has dealt with many messages, many I think today might be the day and than not, everyone knows what I talk about if they are familiar with addicts and their thought process and fear. I will forever be grateful for Wasatch Crest. They literally saved my life! They have done for me what I once believed was impossible. They gave me hope of a new life, free from substance abuse and relief from overbearing mental health issues. This was my first time in residential treatment. I’ve struggled with alcohol/addiction for the majority of my life. I found real help here (for my mental health as well). I found real people here. It was honestly some of the best weeks of my life. If any of my family or friends are struggling with drinking/using I will refer them here. This is a special place. A place that fosters cultivation of real personal growth. I’m currently in their IOP program after graduating residential, and it’s excellent aftercare. This place changed my life. Of course it came with challenges; but the environment, culture, and staff here are all great. I’m the one who had to commit to recovery, but this is the place to do it.

Ardu' Recovery..... Oh my love... I obtained more in 45 days at their residential than I had previously in a combined 12 months elsewhere. I can not convey through mere words what they've created. A fruitless and in vain attempt would be to say that the staff aren't there for a paycheck, they are here to change lives and the do daily. That they alongside the clients help to cultivate a space of healing where one truly feels capable of being present, accountable, and vulnerable. That this is the place and these are my people. That I hope you find the courage within you to walk through those doors and the dedication to change your own life, with the help of some absolutely amazing people along the way. Though those would all be severe understatements, so if you're curious at least come check us out. What's the worst that could happen? I was at this facility in 2023. Katie was so helpful to me and every single staff member was very supportive and accommodating to everyone. I highly recommend APN to anyone struggling with mental health and other issues related to it. I’ve been clean since I was there for my month long treatment.

I recently completed 60 days at Pinnacle Recovery Center. My experience,during my time there, was outstanding. The staff is truly caring, and supportive, always considerate to each individual’s needs. The clinical staff is very professional and sensitive to every client. The house is comfortable and pristinely clean. The grounds are beautifully maintained and the food is fabulous. I encourage anyone reading this and looking for a place to recover from addiction to consider Pinnacle Recovery Center.
