I've had the pleasure of meeting and receiving counseling from Julia Murray. I was a bit nervous at first after reading the reviews but my experience with her was completely different from everyone else. Julia was very understanding, caring, helpful and super informative of my options with dealing with my issues. I would definitely recommend her, especially with situations that may need legal help. My only complaint would be that they are only open Monday through Thursday, other than that, she is a great counselor to meet with.

Heber City, UT | Wasatch Crest Treatment Services has a men’s facility in Heber City, Utah. It provides an extensive range of programs for guys with addictions to drugs, alcohol disorders and co-occurring mental health disorders. They have detox and various residential and outpatient programs. Their campus is set in a mountain landscape with 14,800 square feet. I | Treatments Programs Payment Options | I will forever be grateful for Wasatch Crest. They literally saved my life! They have done for me what I once believed was impossible. They gave me hope of a new life, free from substance abuse and relief from overbearing mental health issues. I personally want to thank both Jim and Nicolette Huffman for not only opening their doors to me within residential treatment, but also for believing in me and not giving up on me. They both really do care, are highly involved and truly develop love for each and every client who is fortunate to admit into the program. Wasatch Crest has one of the best clinical teams I have ever encountered, especially my therapist Rick Buxton CMHC. All of their staff was welcoming, helpful and professional. If you are looking for a residential treatment facility that is safe, filled with numerous therapeutic activities and specializes in trauma, Wasatch Crest is the place to get into. Thank you again for all this program has done for me.

This was my first time in residential treatment. I’ve struggled with alcohol/addiction for the majority of my life. I found real help here (for my mental health as well). I found real people here. It was honestly some of the best weeks of my life.
If any of my family or friends are struggling with drinking/using I will refer them here. This is a special place. A place that fosters cultivation of real personal growth. I’m currently in their IOP program after graduating residential, and it’s excellent aftercare.
This place changed my life. Of course it came with challenges; but the environment, culture, and staff here are all great. I’m the one who had to commit to recovery, but this is the place to do it.

I don't even know where to start...
In my darkest of times, when I felt so lost, hopeless, and worthless and I felt like the world was better off without me, I walked into these doors. And it felt like home. I felt warmth, love, and a sense of security. I had people surround me, and walk with me through some of the worst things in my life. And they showed me how to look inside and find what it was at my core that had left me feeling so empty. They showed me how to fill it with self love, forgiveness, understanding, and confidence. And I have used every moment of my time there as stepping stones and a foundation in everyday of my life since. I truly wouldn't be alive today without this place and all of the staff.

Eden, UT | Spirit Mountain Recovery is a men’s-only residential addiction treatment center in Eden, Utah. The center offers a full continuum of care for adult men struggling with substance use disorders. The program combines clinical therapies with holistic and experiential elements to address the whole person in recovery. Set against a mountain backdro | Treatments Programs Payment Options | I am honored to write a review for Spirit Mountain Recovery. I truly cannot say enough about the quality of their programming, the professionalism of the staff, and the commitment to putting resources directly back into a program that genuinely cares.
Our family has extensive experience with rehabilitation facilities. Two of our sons have been through many programs - we have done the research, tried them, and paid for them. Because of this, we know what works, what is real and what isn't. Do not waste your time hesitating - Spirit Mountain Recovery is truly exceptional.
The leadership here is real and deeply committed. These are people that will move heaven and earth to help save lives. This program will build you back up, hold you accountable to do the work, fully integrate families ino the healing process and support you with genuine care and compassion. Every staff that works there is compassionate, present, and deeply invested in the success of the men in their care. Their dedication, integrity and heart are what make all the difference. There is no facility that compares to what Spirit Mountain offers.
Our family is profoundly grateful.

It would be dramatic to say that Spirit Mountain Recovery saved my life, BUT they did provide the compass and leadership that lead me along the path to self discovery and healing I so desperately needed to actually begin living life. The staff are almost entirely in recovery themselves or have worked in that field for many years, and most of those in recovery (all but one FT staff member) went through Spirit Mountain. As such, they were not only qualified to light the way but have also lived the journey firsthand and so were able to easily see the pitfalls and challenges that inevitably present themselves and demonstrated daily how to navigate them effectively. All of the activities were ultimately based on learning to live a satisfying life of recovery--living with purpose and joy through connection, willing honesty, and discomfort (where growth happens) without the need for substances to alter what I am truly feeling and thinking in the moment. Being active is an important aspect of the experience at Spirit Mountain, and for me that was hugely beneficial because my addictions sucked all of the pleasures of life from me, I no longer desired to do anything but feed the beast. I highly recommend considering Spirit Mountain Recovery if you desire to find out once again, or possibly for the first time, what life can and should be lived like.

South Ogden, UT | Brighton Recovery Center in South Ogden, Utah, is an addiction treatment facility that provides residential care for individuals struggling with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. Clients can enjoy a view of mountain ranges as they focus on their recovery. The staff takes a multifaceted approach to healing by providing treatmen | Treatments Programs Payment Options | My overall experience at Brighton was amazing, I'm so deeply grateful for everyone at the South Ogden location. The staff and residents have cultivated an environment that truly supports growth and I left feeling deeply fulfilled. I went in with the mindset "I have to get sober" and left with "I get to be sober." They showed me life can be enjoyed, just just endured. Not white knuckling my way every second of my life.
For anyone considering this step, you truly get out what you put in. If you come in surrendered, open, and willing to accept the process, the reward is life changing, I promise with all my heart. Taking that step requires immense vulnerability, but at Brighton, that vulnerability is matched by a team that genuinely cares.
The head nurse, Siobhan, was a true blessing, my therapist Shawn was amazing, and the technician staff were all fantastic. It is so important to be surrounded by people who are passionate about their work, and that is exactly what I felt every day.
I really appreciated the balanced program they offer combining deep group therapy and individual one-on-one sessions with holistic activities like spirituality, exercise, art, and outdoor time. While there were a few days where communication felt a little disconnected, the team overall stayed completely on top of the program and delivered a remarkably strong experience.
I’m sharing this because deciding to enter recovery can be terrifying. I hope my experience can be a beacon of hope for someone else standing on the edge of that choice... Take the leap. You will be supported here!!💛

I had a pretty tame experience here except for when my therapist Weston suggested that me being SAed was a propelling factor to me being transgender even though I already told him I was out of the closet before that happened. He was fine besides that, though. Love the techs and nurses and staff. I also thought it strange that they didn’t let people change therapists when they asked to. But yeah it was clean and there was a lot to do and I really liked having a radio.

The faculty and this facility changed my life for the better. I had tried different forms of assistant for 3 years to no avail. Donny Wheat made it a point to sit with me prior to my deciding to go and explained everything in detail leaving me with no questions and even gave me a tour of the place same day. When I was hesitant, telling him all the things I need to tie up prior to me going he said he’d make sure everything was taken care of and he could help me with anything. Veronica was my therapist and after cycling through multiple therapist I felt this was the first true fit. She was very intentional and I could tell she listened to me deeply. I found myself feeling comfortable sharing where that has never been the case for me. The food was great and I really created a family there and we still stay in contact. I highly recommend this facility to anyone struggling.

Diamond Recovery is owned and staffed by individuals who have personal experience with substance use recovery, which brings a level of passion, authenticity and understanding that is difficult to replicate. The team is genuinely committed to helping clients achieve and maintain sobriety by providing practical tools, structure, and consistent accountability.
Their holistic approach is not passive—they actively challenge clients to examine and change behaviors and patterns that no longer serve them. This creates an environment focused on real growth rather than temporary compliance.
That said, success in the program depends heavily on the client’s willingness to commit and engage in the work. For those who are ready to take responsibility for their recovery and make meaningful changes, Diamond Recovery offers strong support and guidance toward long-term sobriety and a happy, healthy life.

Amethyst Center for Healing, and Jana Fulmer changed my life. As a trans person recovering from trauma, this was a safe haven that is irreplaceable. I was given space and tools to start discovering more about myself and how to grow when in a place of pain.
I also really respect what they do— not only working with victims of violence but those who have hurt others. This reparative justice ethos is inspiring and part of a future that focuses on rehabilitation not punitive systems.
I’m so much happier with my life, and a lot of that has to do with the empowerment and trust I was given at Amethyst to start making decisions in my life that were more focused and less reactionary. Jana showed true care and empathy towards me, and helped me feel supported and valued. I can’t recommend enough!

This addiction recovery program doesn’t just change lives — it restores them. From the very beginning, I felt this place is built on hope, compassion, and genuine understanding. Their 12-step approach provides more than structure; it gives people a path forward when they feel lost, broken, or unsure if healing is even possible.
What truly sets this program apart is the staff. They are knowledgeable and professional, but more importantly, they lead with empathy and heart. Many of them have walked this road themselves, and that lived experience creates a level of compassion and connection that can’t be taught. They don’t judge. They don’t lecture. They understand. And that kind of support makes all the difference when you’re rebuilding your life.
I’m especially grateful for how they involve loved ones in the process. Addiction impacts families, not just individuals, and this program recognizes that. They educate, support, and empower families so healing can happen together.
The aftercare program is another reflection of their commitment. Recovery doesn’t end after treatment, and they make sure no one has to navigate sobriety alone. The continued guidance, accountability, and sense of community give clients the strength and confidence to maintain long-term success.

My experiences at Aloha have always been life changing in so many positive ways. Truth be told, I’ve been working with Aloha for the last few years and they have quite literally saved my life on numerous occasions.. The depth of my healing journey at Aloha is hard to put into words, I find myself wanting to cry as I write this because this place just means so much to me. The staff are ON TOP of whatever you may need with the most love in their hearts, the decor is beautiful, the plants are stunning and refreshing; Everything is just so peaceful and truly meant to assist in your healing journey. I never thought I’d find a therapist, psychiatrist, and staff that truly care, understand me, and want to help like those that work here. They are so much fun and full of love for everyone. All of them. I’m just a girl that didn’t know where to go and thankfully I found Aloha. With their help, and some elbow grease, life ahead does look brighter and feels less heavy in general. Mahalo for your support. THERAPY IS COOL 💟

You can attend your treatment in person or connect with your couns | Treatments Programs Payment Options | I like the place. The people are nice. My psychiatrist is Cassi Cluff and she's great. She listens well without criticism or judgement. She offers good ideas and support and she helped me find a grief clinic to help me with my grief after my mom passed away from Alzheimer's. I can actually vent without worrying that I'm talking her ear off. I feel like that a lot lately. I would recommend her to others
