From ages 14-18 this was my home. And because of the staff and their compassion and kindness that I am, who I am today. I was able to graduate high school and get my diploma, had I gone home that never would have been possible. The care that is given to the children there is without a doubt extraordinary. I’ve spent my whole life in the system, YDS and their staff were the only ones to treat me like a person and not a case number or a “troubled kid”. Not all group homes or facilities in the state of Wyoming cared much for kids like me, YDS was the only place that was able to help me. For that they have my gratitude and respect for life.
This place is amazing!!! It doesn’t even feel like a facility, they helped me so much and you become family with the other clients. The staff are amazing at what they do and I couldn’t have asked for a better place to start my journey of recovery! Wyoming recovery is they best place to go by far and I think it’s so amazing that they let you still interact with the community and not feel like your locked down all the time and they give you the chance to get away for a few hours on the weekend! This is the best place to go to take a step towards staying clean!!!

One of the staff members told me that no one ever leaves a review and I said I would so here it is all of the staff was really really nice, except for one of the janitorial staff barked at me other than that the whole stay was good I don’t know if I’d say wonderful but all right! As a graduate student who had the opportunity to complete a rotation at Wyoming Behavioral Institute, I was genuinely impressed by the level of care and compassion demonstrated by the staff. Prior to my experience, the general perception I had heard was that patients were not always treated well; however, I found the exact opposite to be true. The team at WBI is deeply committed to supporting both patients and their families, working diligently to provide a safe and therapeutic environment for healing.
Mental health treatment can be challenging, especially when individuals struggle to engage with the resources and interventions available due to the nature of their illnesses. For parents, it can also be difficult to place their trust in others when their children are receiving care away from home. At times, communication challenges or differing perspectives between patients and families can make understanding the full picture complex.
Overall, my experience at WBI was incredibly meaningful. Dr. Danczik and Dr. Martorano do an excellent job balancing the patient flow and the psych NPs are excellent as well! I gained a great deal of respect for all of the professionals who work there and the effort they put forth to ensure the well-being of every individual in their care. I am truly grateful for the experience and the insight it provided into the compassionate side of behavioral healthcare.

I would highly recommend Dr. Danczik as the best psychiatrist I have ever had since dealing with my mental illness since 1983. I have been in WBI numerous times since 2014. When I got released from WBI in 2023 I picked WBI outpatient to see Dr. Dancsik on a regular schedule for medication management and treatment. I have been in remission under his professional care which is a great relief for me because I would have episodes at least once a year prior to being under his care. Kudos to Dr. Danczik!
This place is amazing!!! It doesn’t even feel like a facility, they helped me so much and you become family with the other clients. The staff are amazing at what they do and I couldn’t have asked for a better place to start my journey of recovery! My name’s Shay and I was there about 3-4 years back and I loved the place. I got into some shenanigans and such, and ran away even, but it always felt like they could see through these acts and actually see someone who needed some help and guidance. Staff were amazing, and I actually learned while in school. It felt like the first place were I could be myself and grow as a person. Shout out Julianna, my therapist. They were the first place I went to were they never outsourced a need for rehabilitation to punishing you or controlling you. If you’re ever in need of some guidance or help, I recommend this place for 100%.

Receiving treatment at Inner Balance was a trans formative experience. I experienced healing from all perspectives and was given the tools to create a sober life. They offer my mind body and spirit healing to understand why I was using drinking as a primary coping mechanism. I have been able to use the tools I learned everyday. I have created a journey of inward love for myself. The staff was so inspirational, so relate able, and facilitated my ability to open my eyes to my innate wisdom. My biggest nugget was from the spiritual neurologist "90% of the thoughts we have are the same ones we had yesterday". The only person I am responsible for is myself, and I am proud to be 13

Counselors are great. Office staff very helpful. Program is nutrition based and the meals are very good and very healthy. You will feel great physically and mentally if you follow their program.

The staff here honestly really cares about everyone in their program. The therapist’s were amazing. Excellent housing and accommodations. Could not ask for a better experience, literally saved my life.

Got financially discharged after 10 days because my insurance was not verified for the entire visit. They did not do their due diligence and properly verify my insurance. They did not fight or appeal it, they just asked me to leave. Not only was I mortified, I was also left broke and still broken. I cashed out my 401k to go to this rehab, and paid the deductible for my plan which was either $7500 or $10,000. I trusted them to help me in my journey to sobriety but instead they added to my list of traumatic events and sadly I am still fighting to that same goal. They did not care about me as a person, they only seen me as a dollar and when I read the reviews it makes me mad that I was not extended this warm caring that so many are talking about. I tried to leave a BBB complaint or review but this facility doesn't participate so the next best way to make sure I can help to make it never happen again is an accurate review.

Blake was awesome to work with! As the facility manager at Choice House, he hired us to remove a fridge, and the entire process was smooth and professional. I graduated my 28 days in resident treatment program at North Point. My experience was truly amazing. The food was great, nice warm beds and plenty of activities. But most impressive was the staff. The kitchen, the techs, case managers, nurses, counselors, etc. made everything worth it. They truly care about your wellbeing and provide the knowledge so you can succeed in your sobriety journey. 10/10 would recommend!

North Point was a great experience for me. they do a great job of curating a community centered environment. The people here cared about getting better and the staff was great, the counselors were amazing. There were some hiccups and annoyances, but oh well; we’re here for rehabilitation, not a vacation. Amenities were solid and from what i heard, far above many other rehab facilities. I would recommend North Point 10/10 times.
