I’ve spent my whole life in the system, YDS and their staff were the only ones to treat me like a person and not a case number or a “troubled kid”. Not all group homes or facilities in the state of Wyoming cared much for kids like me, YDS was the only place that was able to help me. For that they have my gratitude and respect for life.

This place is amazing!!! It doesn’t even feel like a facility, they helped me so much and you become family with the other clients. The staff are amazing at what they do and I couldn’t have asked for a better place to start my journey of recovery! Wyoming recovery is they best place to go by far and I think it’s so amazing that they let you still interact with the community and not feel like your locked down all the time and they give you the chance to get away for a few hours on the weekend! This is the best place to go to take a step towards staying clean!!!

I cannot recommend Creative Counseling enough. They have the best team of therapists there! Amber, Hailey, Daniel and Tiffany are amazing! I couldn’t have asked for anything more from any of them. I’ve been in classes since 2023 and at first it seemed like a chore that I didn’t want to do but it wasn’t like that for long. After a few months, I found myself looking forward to my classes because they really do everything that the classes are meant to do. I am beyond grateful for the treatment I received! Definitely worth every penny!

My name’s Shay and I was there about 3-4 years back and I loved the place. I got into some shenanigans and such, and ran away even, but it always felt like they could see through these acts and actually see someone who needed some help and guidance. Staff were amazing, and I actually learned while in school. It felt like the first place were I could be myself and grow as a person. Shout out Julianna, my therapist. They were the first place I went to were they never outsourced a need for rehabilitation to punishing you or controlling you. I can't say enough good things about this organization and the people that work here. Coming up on 2 months of sobriety, I can honestly say I would not be here without the amazing staff and therapists at NorthStar.
I want to give a huge shout out to Sean who worked with me in helping me identify my triggers and to create a plan for my future.
I could write a review a mile long if I started naming all the great staff at the lodge, but I'll keep it to this: from the AM staff to the PM staff, every single person there is invested in supporting you on your journey, and they truly 'get it.' From laughter to serious moments, they facilitated the perfect healing environment for me.

Dr. Dyksterhouse is an amazing doctor. My family and I care for my Grandmother that has Alzheimer's. Dr. D is her primary care physician. His lighthearted wit and excellent bedside manor always put my Grandmother at ease. He is patient and we never feel rushed when we have office visits. He responds quickly to our messages and is never bothered by any amount questions or concerns that we may have. Dr. D has been an invaluable resource when it comes to connecting us with people to help us manage situations we are unable to manage alone. Dr. D is hands down the best doctor I have ever had interaction with. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a primary care physician in Belmont.
