My time at Curran-Seeley is, to date, the most important time in my life. Thanks to their empathetic, kind counselors, and elastic curriculum, I have been able to maintain my sobriety for over 5 years. The coping tools that Curran-Seeley helped me cultivate have been priceless and crucial to my ongoing success in sobriety. Accepting personal responsibility is hard (which, I suspect is the cause of these lower ratings), but when I finished treatment at Curran-Seeley, I was emotionally stronger, had rediscovered my morals/values, and became a person whose skills and talents have been employed to help others who are struggling. I owe my life to my time spent with Curran-Seeley.

With my experience so far things can move slowly to start but one the ball is downhill rolling the therapists I’ve worked with so far are understanding and hospitable. I feel very supported with the DBT classes offered Fridays from 9-11 am and all of the small little community activities they have. A fine environment to consider starting your healing journey in.

Traveled here for an eye exam. I checked in at the front desk but somehow it was lost in the system but no worries. The optometrist saw me soon enough.

The staff is friendly the lady at the front desk Hanna almost knows the names of all the veterans before they check in. The man who draws the labs hits my hidden vain with ease and no pain.

The pocatello va clinic always amazes me. An appointment or a drop in for a small problem, they get me in and take care of it. ( it’s usually hearing aide related but not always).

Well Jen is about the nicest most down to earth person ever. She really came through for me. After a string of bad luck lately, I really needed a win. I appreciate her help and attitude so much.

Basketball, Walk, Cafe, Snack cart, museums, Walmart, bowling, park, frisbee golf & Chinese..nice staff..

I was there in 2019 June and July but I still had voices telling me to stick my head in the river and keep ot there so I went in August too.The first day I was there I couldn't go outside for fresh air, that is one of rules. I really like the arts and crafts time, they even finished my hat for me. The 3rd time (Feb-April 2023) I went they didn't have church ministry anymore because of Covid but I think they have live feeds from a church. The ones that are charged from jail say it's like a 6 week vacation. They have a lot of motivation to keep your bed clean and walking to get snack cart coupons. I want to send the library Luis Palau Movie and Anne of Green Gables and Anne of Avonlea. They play a lot of Avengers movies or super hero ones. Heather was a good provider and I had a nice clinician too. I'm trying to think of what they could improve on. In the groups I felt a little vulnerable sharing fears but I liked the saying we're not here to make friends we're here to work on yourself. There was a patient that kept saying he had 7 baby mommas and his grandma took pictures of all of them. I liked having the earphones to listen to music too. Mike rocks!

I was committed by Twin falls county 4 times and Bannock County 1 time to State Hospital South. This was 5 times In a 3 year period. The longest they kept me was 7 weeks even though my family and I both desperately plead with the hospital and courts for more time to get things right. They are over flooded with commitments from all over the state and it's in their interest to keep people moving through even if they require more time to stabilize. Other than this 1 complaint I was always treated with the utmost respect and dignity and I am a chronic pain patient and at the time which was 2009,2010, and 2011 they worked with my home providers to keep my high dosages of opioids going while at the hospital. I realize in today's world they probably would not do the same for me but at the time if I would have been pulled off my methadone and Oxycodone it would have sent me into a further spiral so I'm very thankful that they treated this in a humane manner. I probably would have not returned so many times back to back if I just would have been given more time the first time or second time around. I hope they read this and keep this in mind when rushing patients into discharge. It would have saved the state dept of health and welfare and the courts and my insurance a lot of money to just keep me a little longer the first time. I often waited 30 days sitting in St Luke's Canyon View in Twin Falls after my commitment was official before a bed opened at SHS which just shows you how full they are always kept or was at that time period. I only imagine things have got worse now with so many people from other states moving to Idaho. I live in California now which is my home state and the hospitals here are horrible compared to in Idaho. It's been a long time since I have been in one but my best hospital memories are at State Hospital South. They have a patient library, cafe, completely separate medical clinic for health problems and we were allowed to walk outside in open grounds. They even took us on a activity to go bowling at a local bowling alley in Blackfoot. You have to remember many reviews of mental health facilities are bad but that's what you get when the population they serve are forced into the hospital by legal holds and commitments against their will. I am one of the few ex patients that see my going here as something that saved me from myself at the time. I have a lot of appreciation for the hospital.

Can't speak highly enough oh how great they are.

This place has helped me so much in my recovery. I don't know where I would be today if they were not there. They have taught me all skills I need to be successful on my journey. Don't get me wrong but I have had my set backs but they have always been there to help me with getting back on the right track. I am truly thankful for the wonderful people that I have worked with.

They have a great staff at Gateway Counseling, they are always very helpful, friendly and welcoming every time I have been there!!

I have had a great overall experience at Pearl. All the providers I have seen at Pearl over the years have been helpful and compassionate. Lael Reynolds is my current provider. She is incredibly supportive and instrumental in my mental wellness path.

My family use Dr. jim Mccoy for help with medications and medical care. This is a patient, caring professional who will work with you at your pace. I cannot recommend him enough.

Amazing, caring people, they actually listen and provide help

Ive been with Pearl Health for a little over 8 years! While every company y has their issues, Pearls are minimal. They've worked with me well to make sure I get the right fit of services from counseling, med management, peer support, case management, and cbrs services... med management and counseling has primarily been via telehealth for me these past few years. I've also had group therapy with them in the past and wish I could continue but now live too far away, as well as taken advantage of their IOP program. They are a wonderful company I highly reccomend.... and I trust them enough that I can easily make my needs known or request different people ifwhoim with isnt working out.

I take my son to see Cody and he's really awesome with him! They have always been extremely helpful and understanding. 10/10 would recommend to anyone!

I highly recommend these guys for counseling and their parenting class they just started offering! The parenting class alone is worth looking into! The teacher is great and the content was SUPER helpful!

I HAVE to give an amazing review! Cody Jameson is the best doctor I have on my team (I have so many so that says a ton!) . You can tell he loves his job and he treats his patients so well. I can talk with him about literally anything, I even asked him if he'd ever thought about going into counseling- he's that good. I've already recommend him to every single family member, it's a no brainer. He's jumped through so many hoops for me to make sure I get the care I need. Even going to war advocating for me with insurance companies. He's the one you're looking for and I promise from the bottom of my heart he's the best in town. The best!

Staff is so kind and helpful. Wait time is minimal. I've never had trouble getting them to answer the phone. Providers return calls, faster than expected. I don't feel dismissed and I've never felt less than for seeking care.

My journey with High County Behavioral Health has been life changing. I started coming to counseling sessions over 2 years ago with many issues that I thought were not issues in my life. I have seen several counselors due to retirement (Tereasa) moving to Alabama (Jason) to my current counselor (Sarah) who have been game changers for me. Through their dedication expertise understanding empathy care concern shall I go on.....their mindfulness witty always there for you environment has meant the world to me. Candice who is behind the scenes also has a place in my heart. The organization of 1-1 Counseling and the MRT DBT Group therapy classes are what make my mental health healthy!!!! I have also been blessed to speak with the Afton ladies who are always there to help. I am feeling blessed. I never want to leave lol.......

I am so glad I started working with High Country Behavior Health for my mental health needs. My therapist, Charity, has literally saved my mental health and has provided me the tools to enhance how I approach emotionally trying times. It is always a pleasure to see Dawn and Tammy at reception when I come in as well. I can't say enough about my positive experiences with this facility and highly recommend to anyone needing some extra help with their mental health.

We had a very nice experience at bear Lake Memorial Hospital when we had a scare with out 3 yr. Both the nurse and Dr were very kind and helped explain everything. 5 star experience all the way through!!

I have never had a doctor staff so concerned with my well being. I’ve had so many doctors just pass off my symptoms as nothing. These women have been a blessing to me and have possibly saved my life. They took my symptoms more serious than even I did. The best decision I’ve ever made was to go here for my care. I’ve never felt advocated for and cared about as I do here. I’m facing something serious and they genuinely care and have possibly saved my life. I cannot express how above and beyond they have gone to help me even when I didn't take it serious due to so many doctors blowing me off as it was nothing. Within weeks I have my symptoms addressed and referred to the proper places. I will forever be thankful and any person needing to be heard should go to this practice. I will forever recommend them. I see 2 doctors there and both are amazing and so knowledgeable and they actually care. I will never go anywhere else. Thank you for reviving my faith in medicine, you are so appreciated ♥️.

I had the privilege of working with Mark at Ostermiller Counseling, and I cannot express how grateful I am for the time I spent there. Mark's demeanor, professionalism, and friendliness made every session something I genuinely looked forward to. He possesses a deep well of skills, knowledge, and abilities that truly set him apart. Throughout my sessions, I learned a wide variety of practical skills that have transformed the way I approach life's complexities and challenges. Even though I completed my sessions a few months ago, I often find myself reflecting on what I learned and continuing to apply those insights daily. The tools and perspectives I gained have made my life significantly better, helping me navigate difficult situations with a much healthier outlook. Mark Hobbs was fantastic for both me and my wife. He was able to help us through a variety of problems and gave us the tools we needed to succeed in overcoming addiction, strengthening mental health and bolstering our marriage and managing expectations. In my opinion, he very much understands the concept of self-actualization and a strengths based perspective of overcoming problems. He knows his stuff and was able to provide us with resources to begin helping ourselves. I am grateful for his work. That said, I recognize that not every counselor is for everyone else. If he isn't your style, there is nothing wrong with finding another counsellor. Best of luck.

He has helped us navigate anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, and more with compassion, kindness, professional, and personalized care. Edit: Im changing my review because the of the promtness of the front office staff. They had reached out to try and amend my experience, which was extremely warming. I still want to leave my original view up for reference. I wasn’t planning to leave a review, but I want to share my experience in case it helps someone else. I went to this practice on a friend’s recommendation, and I understand that not every therapist and client will be a good fit. I didn’t expect to be “fixed” after one session, but I did expect to feel heard or at least seen. During my appointment the clinician appeared to rely heavily on an AI tool (ChatGPT). She sat with her back to me for most of the session, asked questions from a pre-written form, pasted my answers into the software, then read back a summary and asked, without making eye contact, “Does this sound like you?” This went on for more than half of the session. When she finally turned to me, she asked what my favorite color was, which felt out of place given how anxious and vulnerable I was. Overall the visit left me feeling dismissed, discouraged, and more hopeless than when I arrived. I’m still looking for a provider who will listen, engage, and help me work through my concerns. If you’re seeking therapy, don’t be discouraged if your first experience was like mine, go elsewhere and keep looking until you find someone you genuinely connect with.

Wow! I can’t say enough good things about my experience from 2017/18. Trama therapy was game changing from Tammy!! She helped me soooo much, she help my youngest! My oldest son was making progress but shut down and as he was 18 I couldn’t make him finish- wish he would go back. Honestly everyone could benifit from this type of therapy! It was game changing for me. I learned to have a voice, I noticed all my diagnoses ( mild bi polar, depression, ptsd, anxiety) all decreased by at least 70%. I found adding Jesus to my mindset w healing and Tammy understands everyone’s different. You want to put it into the higher power ( what is that for u?) God, the earth, elements , whatever and its personalized for your faith or spirituality. I manage all my diagnoses. They don’t manage me. I use my choice of things to help like oils, vitamins so on……. Everyone has so kinda trama and need to learn to heal. This review is late, but still feel ppl need to know this service / therapy is game changing if your ARE READY TO HEAL, BREAK CYCLES/ generation trama!!!
