Little over a year ago I took my son to the ER. Didn’t know what was going on with him but the nursing staff and their training saved my son’s life. He was diabetic and I never knew for how long but thanks to the nurses in the ER. They found out what was wrong and we were flown out ASAP. Today he is alive and well and we have him on an insulin pump. We are adjusting well with his new life and I wake up daily and look at my boy and I’m so thankful he’s here after seeing him so sick and us showing up that night while he was going into DKA. So again. Thank you to the night shift nurses working that night! There are no words to describe how thankful I am! I’m sure my boy is thankful too but he’s just a normal 13 year old in his own world these days! Haha

My son, who is a veteran, had a dreadful accident 21 months ago, the VA has been absolutely phenomenal in taking care of his every need. The ladies in Riverton, Wyoming are so conscientious and care about the people that are going in. I highly recommend if you are a veteran in the Riverton area to use their office. My counselor Rhiannon is super helpful! She genuinely has my best interest at heart and she gives me resources/literature/& helps me with positive coping skills! It's hard finding a good counselor that's a perfect fit for you but I genuinely think Rhiannon is a great counselor :) Also Shyla the receptionist is so kind and patient and always willing to help! I know there's also intensive outpatient programs available! Overall I would definitely recommend this counseling center to anyone seekinging behavioral health help in Thermopolis.

They dig much deeper, and they go into your trauma, I would pick this place 100 times over and over again if needed to go! I have actively tried to recover from addiction for more than 10 years. Southwest Counseling was my 7th attempt at treatment. I failed to get what I needed to recover from 6 previous treatment centers across the country. Countless thousands of dollars were spent in an attempt to relieve my suffering from Alcoholism. It wasn’t until attending the Therapeutic Community Program at Southwest Counseling Service (S.C.S) that a solution was found. I can unequivocally and without a doubt say that S.C.S has saved my life. This program works. If you or a loved one is suffering from addiction I highly recommend S.C.S. be your first and likely only place to receive assistance in overcoming the effects of this illusive disease. Through the program I was able to discover the underlying cause of my ailment and more importantly how to navigate life without the need of substances to make life more bearable. It is in fact a difficult program, but a difficult problem demands a complex solution and is well worth the short term discomfort to achieve lifelong happiness. I only wish someone had ushered me to S.C.S sooner, I know a lot of heartbreak and suffering could have been spared. MY OLD MENTAL DOCTOR RECIEVED A 10 Star from me.The lady at the front desk on College Hill who was the secratary admission clerk receives A 5 star.The counselor receives a 1 star.The Bupropian is Working Doctor.The ladies at ankeny And whoever closed my case without sending me a letter or assuring I was contacted receive A 1 star.THE TREATNENT CENTER FINALLY RECIEVES A 10 STAR .That's after A 4 year wait. THE BUPRION WELLBUTRIN WORKS Mental DOCTOR .I'm still using old meds that you prescribed to me that are expired from 2016.Now I need a smoking cessation that does not do anything like a sugar pill.I HAVE BEEN TAKING DAILY MY OLDEST MEDS FIRSTWELLBITRIN 300 LIKE YOU SAID.Thank You.But now I am suffering from post traumatic stress and stress and anxiety. I WONT TAKE THE SEROQUEL THATS WHY THE BUPROPIAN DIDNT WORK .I don't even get headaches from the wellbutrin.It doesn't do anything but stop my hunger. HELLO Its 2022.I am ok.

My journey with High County Behavioral Health has been life changing. I started coming to counseling sessions over 2 years ago with many issues that I thought were not issues in my life. I have seen several counselors due to retirement (Tereasa) moving to Alabama (Jason) to my current counselor (Sarah) who have been game changers for me. Through their dedication expertise understanding empathy care concern shall I go on.....their mindfulness witty always there for you environment has meant the world to me. Candice who is behind the scenes also has a place in my heart. The organization of 1-1 Counseling and the MRT DBT Group therapy classes are what make my mental health healthy!!!! I am so glad I started working with High Country Behavior Health for my mental health needs. My therapist, Charity, has literally saved my mental health and has provided me the tools to enhance how I approach emotionally trying times. MY OLD MENTAL DOCTOR RECIEVED A 10 Star from me.The lady at the front desk on College Hill who was the secratary admission clerk receives A 5 star.The counselor receives a 1 star.The Bupropian is Working Doctor.The ladies at ankeny And whoever closed my case without sending me a letter or assuring I was contacted receive A 1 star.THE TREATNENT CENTER FINALLY RECIEVES A 10 STAR .That's after A 4 year wait. THE BUPRION WELLBUTRIN WORKS Mental DOCTOR .I'm still using old meds that you prescribed to me that are expired from 2016.Now I need a smoking cessation that does not do anything like a sugar pill.I HAVE BEEN TAKING DAILY MY OLDEST MEDS FIRSTWELLBITRIN 300 LIKE YOU SAID.Thank You.But now I am suffering from post traumatic stress and stress and anxiety. It would be dramatic to say that Spirit Mountain Recovery saved my life, BUT they did provide the compass and leadership that lead me along the path to self discovery and healing I so desperately needed to actually begin living life. The staff are almost entirely in recovery themselves or have worked in that field for many years, and most of those in recovery (all but one FT staff member) went through Spirit Mountain. As such, they were not only qualified to light the way but have also lived the journey firsthand and so were able to easily see the pitfalls and challenges that inevitably present themselves and demonstrated daily how to navigate them effectively. All of the activities were ultimately based on learning to live a satisfying life of recovery--living with purpose and joy through connection, willing honesty, and discomfort (where growth happens) without the need for substances to alter what I am truly feeling and thinking in the moment. Being active is an important aspect of the experience at Spirit Mountain, and for me that was hugely beneficial because my addictions sucked all of the pleasures of life from me, I no longer desired to do anything but feed the beast. I highly recommend considering Spirit Mountain Recovery if you desire to find out once again, or possibly for the first time, what life can and should be lived like.

Great & Terrible experiences. I asked my Sheridan VA primary care doctor on Aug 2025 to visit a neurosurgeon for severe low bk pain, collapsed disc in the spine at L5 - S1, it is severely and painfully compressing the nerves, asked to see Neurosurgeon & finally Jan 2026 approved for doctor's visit on March 2026. Because of the extreme delay from the time I asked and the time that the consult actually went through, I visited the Community Care office twice to complain and to ask why it was taking so long. During my first visit I was told that the consult was just sitting in the system and no one had done anything with it however that visit had no effect whatsoever. My second visit was basically the same thing. It took the pain management nurse to get this going, finally ! It took approx. 169 days for the consult to process. Another, approx 33 days to see Billings, MT. Provider. The approximate combined wait just to see the Dr. was approximately 202 days. You can not visit the Consult Dept. in-person to ask about severe delays. I was told it was in a lock - down area, Veterans CAN - NOT visit this locked - down department, their words, not mine. After those 202 days I was finally able to see the back neurosurgeon and he confirms the collapsed disc between the two vertebraes and the severe, painful compression on the nerves. It requires a fusion that is called 360° fusion of the lumbar spine. It's major surgery that involves cutting through your stomach to remove the desiccated disc and inserting a device that allows bone to fuse and then flipping you to cut through your back to install the screws and other hardware. I was cautioned this was going to be painful. I'm already in pain so go ahead and hurt me, yeah hurt me. The pain I got would last forever but the pain of surgery and afterwards will eventually subside and stop, so yeah go ahead and hurt me. Let's get this over with. If I remember the rules correctly, "No veteran shall wait more than 30 days for care or to see a doctor, is that working out for y'all? " Awesome primary Care August 15th 2025 asking to see a specialist about this severe pain but did not get the appointment until March 5th of 2026. Waiting for the consult at Sheridan VA hospital took up the majority of that time. The neurosurgeon is booked up I will not have the surgery according to his office until June, July or August. If the surgery occurs in August then I will have waited one year in severe pain. Saw optometrist Dr.Kowoski. BEST exam EVER. Told him he could go home early with pay and get a raise tomorrow. Dr. Mikus is a good guy, personable, gives plenty of time to ask questions, he listens. Oddly, at the end of visit, as I was leaving, he asked if I was sure that I had "all of my questioned answered. Never had any Doctor ask me that before as I am about to walk out the door. That was a first for me. Reminded me of Star Trek's Doctor McCoy's bedside manner. His Nursing staff...Nurse needle-stick, I didn't feel a thing ! Delightful, engaging bedside manner that could & should be the Gold Standard. His Nurses have empathy, sympathy, care and concern everyday for every patient. Near future I will begin a YouTube Video, postings on the Great & Terrible experiences. Starting with these experiences.

The Ranch is a beautiful place to stay while the wonderful staff genuinely care for each individual! From the clinical staff to the medical professionals, and from the chefs to the maintenance team, Foundry Treatment Center is definitely a great place to start sobriety. This place is amazing!!! It doesn’t even feel like a facility, they helped me so much and you become family with the other clients. The staff are amazing at what they do and I couldn’t have asked for a better place to start my journey of recovery! Wyoming recovery is they best place to go by far and I think it’s so amazing that they let you still interact with the community and not feel like your locked down all the time and they give you the chance to get away for a few hours on the weekend!
