To say that TurningPoint changed my life is an understatement. From the moment I called to check myself in was the moment I felt welcomed. Not only do they genuinely care about their patients’ wellbeing; but they help you understand addiction and how the brain processes addiction from one person to another. I would thank them with my life to show them my appreciation. Thank you to every single staff member at TurningPoint & a special thanks to my Therapist Kelly. Because of them, I’m a better man today. 🤍

Was transported to VA Emergency Department early this morning (31 May/around 0200) for chest pains and fear of heart attack. The team took such amazing care of me; listened to my concerns and didn’t dismiss, demean or degrade me. It was very nice. All the staff was amazing. They ran all the right tests and were able to determine the issue (not my heart) but another serious issue regardless. The Dr gave me a thorough explanation of what the issue was and released quickly.

New Season's is the best MAT program in Albuquerque, hands down. I've been to a couple, but NS treats me like a human instead of a way to make money or just another face. Nick is amazing and helped me through some tough times while traveling for my job while getting treatment. 10/10! The rest of the staff is also just as amazing. I am using this program to help get off of a pain medication for a chronic health condition. The entire staff has helped me every step of rhe way, even though they knew I didn't want to stay on Methadone either.

Love this place they help you when u run into any issues they don't just tell you there's nothing they can do bout it. I went to the clinic on hanies and there were times I'd go for my doses and they wud say that my medicade didn't go thro and wudnt give us our meds. This clinic helps you to figure it out. It's a very scary feeling when u can't get ur meds especially when u rely on that med everyday. It's a very scary feeling when u think or when u are sick. And the one thing that helps u u cnt get. But I really appreciate this clinic. I come from Grants to get my meds Alb is the closest place to get them. Thank for always being so understanding and helpful

I was very surprised by this facility, they said the people start lining up at 7am but I didn't see anyone in line when I got there and that was at 7:30 so I had hoped it wouldn't be an all day deal. And that it was but in a good way. I got to meet Adam which is now my PCP for a short time, he will be transferring for personal reasons in a few months, but enough of that. Turned out to be one of the most successful days of my life, my PCP actually cared actually listened, actually looked me in the eye when he asked me questions or made suggestions, I actually felt like I was on the same level as he was, and that felt amazing. It didn't feel like he was above me like some providers tend to seem just from being at an authority level for so long. We actually had a conversation about my pain, my feelings and my state of mind. This may seem like a little exaggeration but if you have ever experienced chronic pain it's everything. I hate to see him go because the trust will be short lived and I struggle with change, but I think to be able to feel security with your Doctor at any level is a gift. So thank you Adam, I hope your transfer is successful for you and your family I know you both need it, I had a couple of daycare's in the very place your going and believe me it felt good to be the helper instead of the one being helped. Good Luck 🙂

I’m new to both The Evolution Group and in-person therapy in general, but so far the experience has been… lovely. The space is like a protective compound of renovated homes with a central peaceful garden and multiple therapy spaces. It feels safe, comfortable, and thoughtful. The staff have made the process simple… like checking into a spa. My therapist, Crystal, is patient, warm, personable, and genuinely listens. I’ve only had 2 sessions, but all of the worry and anxiety of being in a new environment and situation melted away during the first session. We haven’t started the work of therapy just yet, but I’m optimistic about the journey given the amazing start. Update: Seven months later and I'm still very much impressed. Crystal is a wonderful therapist and a beautiful soul. I'll be honest, the first 4 months felt like a rinse and spin cycle. That's just my experience of the process, but the team there made it easy to be a patient. Something strange... that place feels familiar and safe, like going home (in a good way). I continue to refer coworkers here.

I left a pretty bad review about 5 years ago. I decided to stay at Duke City and have had a few bad problems since. Really bad staff like them messing up my insurance payments and trying to blame me. But...... This place is a big part of the reason I'm going to be sober for 10 years in August. It's the reason I have take homes and live a normally relative life. The reason I can hold good jobs. The reason I'm not dead in a gutter. So with that being said, things change. I've seen a LOT of change over the years. About 5 years ago a very overzealous counselor finally left, she was a good counselor but far too influential with management and defensive of really stupid policies like the early open access. Like I said things have changed a lot. Groups are optional now. You can do counseling over the phone. Good stuff. Just.. stay on top of any payment plan you have. And I strongly recommend not using private insurance because billing seems to work with medicaid 99% of the time and any time I've tried to use Cobra insurance or private insurance they have screwed it up and I end up on a payment plan. I still never got reimbursed by the way. They must owe me two or three checks over the years but what ever. My top concern is that I get my treatment. And I do. My counselor calls me. I get my medicine. Things are okay. So i changed my review from a one to a four after 5 years. I think that is fair. I do wish however that they use a nurse to do the observed UAs. Nothing against the security guards but it feels like I'm in a parole office rather than a treatment center. I'm here voluntarily. I also don't appreciate it when I have legitimate trouble peeing and the workers immidiately go straight for the stick and say "oh well we can just mark you as a dirty" If you actually look at my record I haven't had a dirty since I started treatment nearly a decade ago. Why would I want a dirty now? I just need to drink some water you fool... Other than that, things are good. The clinic is in a good space. Best in years. I strongly recommend management take the win and try not to dramatically change things because this is their peak. Best they have been in years. Keep it up. Please. I can't go back go pre pandemic Duke city. I just cant. That was brutal.

SOFIA IS THE BEST. She is hands down the best therapist I have ever met, or even heard of from friends, much less had the extreme joy and gratitude to be treated by. Sofia has ACTUALLY made a difference in my life and my mind. I came to her with undiagnosed PTSD and she picked up on it and has worked with me to develop/grow healthy coping strategies and heal my mind from the traumas. I could cry thinking of how grateful I am that God brought me to her. She has been patient, gentle, encouraging, AND dug down deep with me to really get at the roots of issues, and to actually WORK on them. She does listen and help me talk through stuff, and she has also helped me actually get better. I am so immensely grateful. Even when I couldn’t see the light at the end of the tunnel of trauma therapy, I trusted her because of the experience I had with her up until the point that we started the trauma therapy. She told me there was a light, better living, and joy-filled days. Even though I couldn’t see it myself, I trusted her experience and she helped me heal and walked me to the light. She has continued to research and grow her own skills to become a great therapist and it really shows in how effective she is. She’s literally amazing. SOMEONE PLEASE GIVE THIS WOMAN A RAISE cause she is incredible in her work.

I've been working with trish for nearly 3 years. I've been in therapy since I was 7. I never got help like I did with trish. I came to her a shattered soul really just lost to the world. She breathed life into me. I cqnt explain it any other way. I'm no longer under any legal obligation to see her. I do tho. I've been seeing her a whole year now with no order. I just keep soaking up her support. She's not just my Dr she's been my light. I wanna encourage anyone lost and broken to give these guys a chance they really did help me.

I have been meaning to write a review for this wonderful counseling agency for some time. My experience here has been life changing. My counselor has helped me in so many ways. I have learned a variety of coping skills to manage my depression, improve my parenting, and my relationship with my husband is the best it has ever been. I also appreciate how easy it was to get started, one of the best choices i have made for myself and my family. I recommend Rio Grande Counseling wholeheartedly. Thank you!
