Hi my name is Oliver Allen and first off i would like to give thanks to my higher power and the staff at Nola Detox. Before coming in i was weak and beat down. My weight was down to about 130, 50 to 60 pounds below my usual weight. When i walked through those sliding doors i was to weak to even stand and for three days had to use a wheel chair. When those three days were up i hit the ground running making it to all my meetings and working out using the faciliities equiptment. On my arrival i was greeted with smiles from the front desk receptionist Kendra and also greeted with open arms from all the staff. They said things like im glad youre here and you made it to the right place because we are going to take good care of you.I will forever be grateful for the way i was greeted and the way i was treated for my entire stay. I would personally like to thank Cedric, Dan and Mr.Chris for bringing such a great thing to New Orleans. Saving lives daily and helping people to believe in themselves. Showing them a different way to live without drugs and alcohol. Im praying that you all can keep growing and changing peoples lives forever. May God Speed, Grace and Blessings be with you all.

Went through the residential 28 day program in Ruston last year, had a great experience, my counselor, Nate, was absolutely great and helped me tremendously to see my character flaws and issues which kept me in my addiction. It really helped pave the way on the road of recovery I've been on for almost 14 months! Also the food was deliciously good, feed me as well as my own grandmother would! Highly recommend Lincoln Nova if you are serious about changing your life. After graduating inpatient, I started the intensive outpatient program in Shreveport, my counselor, Layne, is very educated and knowledgeable about addiction and recovery! The entire staff at inpatient and intensive outpatient will do their best to help you if you are serious about your recovery!! They have been a great blessing in my life and I'm extremely grateful to have gone through the program!

I have been to Edgefield 3 times and I will not go anywhere else for treatment for substance use disorder. The staff is caring and compassionate, attentive to the needs of the clients, and puts the client first. There was a new administrator this time I went, Mr. Bobby Rayford, who I highly commend on his hiring of the new staff. He is a delight to be around and even did my discharge plan for me. His concern for Edgefield being a top notch rehab facility really shows through. Good job on cutting back on the snacks, because many addicts in recovery struggle with weight gain. Thank you Edgefield for another beautiful stay. I will never forget the sunrises and sunsets I saw out there on the bayou. If you are looking for a rehab to meet all of your needs, look no further. This is the place.

Edgefield first caught my attention because of its location and history but upon arrival I was introduced to the compassionate staff that made me feel at home. The repuposed plantation house is such a charm with beautiful chandeliers, fireplaces, and paintings to gaze at between classes, meals, or in the afternoon. The staff was so caring and involved in my recovery process. They genuinely are concerned for the patients and it shines through all of the employees, from the physicians, techs, and lunch room employees. Being set on a quiet bayou with lots of wildlife to observe and appreciate. I recommend a volleyball game during your stay. The food was amazing and filling, so if you are on a diet I suggest passing on the 2 peanut butter and jelly sandwiches they offer as snack. Thank you for helping me so that I could help others.

Love Dr Isherwood, Laura and each person there!! It’s hard finding a Dr or place in general for help when there is so many who have no bed side manner. We typically don't remember what people say or do most of the time … but WE WILL REMEMBER how someone makes US FEEL. Townsend has made feel nothing BUT welcomed and loved. I am truly grateful that I had the opportunity to start and finish my recovery there. The staff is not just staff, this place provided a family I never had. They welcome you with open arms. The scenery is beautiful and many long walks around the facility. I was glad we could smoke as well. I remember going to the local Catholic Church nearby. Oh yes and the food was delicious. Females were there as well, but no peeking lol. Overall a good place if you wanna sober up and stay off the destructive path.

The program, staff, and fellow residents have all played a crucial role in my growth, providing me with a strong foundation for my ongoing sobriety. The skills and strategies I learned here have been instrumental in maintaining my sobriety, and I am now residing in a supportive sober living environment where I can continue to learn and grow. During my time at the facility, I received the difficult news of my sister's cancer diagnosis and her subsequent passing on November 4, 2025. However, thanks to the support and tools I received, I have been able to cope with this challenging situation in a healthy, sober, and stable manner. Four years ago I entered the doors of pathways broken and afraid when I left out those doors two weeks later I was different, ready to face the world and unafraid I wanna thank the nurse that sat up with me at three in the morning when I asked for the phone to call home ready to leave she encouraged me and told me that the fight was already won! Woodlake center is the best place for anyone to get treatment and recovery.the staff has people who really care about the people they help and understand how to help them put there life back together.they have Education on Tuesday night that helps everyone stay grounded in the program.And Kevin James for which anyone who is serious about changing there life,listening and understanding this man is the key to recovery.If not for him I would not be alive today.thanks Woodlake for be there when I needed them...

Woodlake changed my life. The staff there was very good to me and worked with me whenever I needed anything. Kevin James tells you exactly what you need to hear, and the people who can’t handle that sadly are probably just not ready to change their ways.
