Went to the er and dr hayes, all the nurses that took care of me, even the front desk lady, were so kind and caring, took time to listen to all my concerns, went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable, and calmed me when I was scared. While putting Common Spirit in Google maps. I noticed that some of the reviews we're not so good for them. Seeing that, I need to tell my story. I'm 67yrs old in Feb I bought a motorcycle then proceeded to drop it on my ankle breaking it in three places. Living 50 mi. away I was transported by ambulance to Common Spirit. I was seen by Dr. Hernandez in the ER. Being a X Air Force combat medic MyCare was excellent I know. But wait story doesn't end there.That day the hospital was totally full, my surgery was scheduled next morning. I had no one who could take me home. I live alone Dr. Hernandez said let me see what I can do. Contacted his church which came and brought me to a hotel, paid for the room.Cause You see in the confusion and pain, I didn't realize my wallet was still on the motorcycle. In the morning 8:00 a.m. a pastor picked me up for surgery. I am so thankful and grateful frankly in shock at that moment for what was done for me." I will never forget it". Saying Thank you superficial to me my surgery went extremely well Dr. Keller my orthopedic surgeon is awesome put me back together as planned his staff for his office are the best. I would rate Common Spirit, St Elizabeth Hospital a zillion Stars but they won't let me 5 is it 😎 PDS.

I truly couldn’t say a negative thing about Sandstone Care in Denver; they are amazing. I was in one of the lowest points of my life when I reached out to Sandstone admissions and even then, I received the best care right off the bat. My admissions coordinator, (Kevin Clark) was incredibly helpful and informative and even mentioned some of his own story to make me feel more comfortable and confident in starting this new journey in my life. I started the program in their PHP group and I first noticed that it felt different from the other treatment facilities I had ever been to. I felt comfortable, accepted, and safe. It was a new, but warm feeling. In the PHP group, I learned several /new/ ways of looking at the different issues I was going through. It didn’t feel like anyone was blaming me, but more like “these are things I am struggling with; okay, what can I do to make them feel less awful?” This is something that made Sandstone different for me - they actually helped me, as the individual, build new foundations and discover my values in life. After I finished up their PHP program, I stepped down to IOP and from there, I felt like a new person. I noticed that my self-esteem was growing and that when I was going through my lower moments of time, I could actually recognize what was happening and control the situation. Now this was huge considering I have been struggling with Anxiety/Major Depressive disorder since 5th grade. I could not figure out the words to describe the weight lifted off of my chest after completing my time at Sandstone Care. For anyone considering treatment for yourself or a loved one here, I would seriously recommend it. I was hesitant at first because of the question, “what if it’s just like every other mental health facility?” It’s not and I will die on that hill. During my time at Sandstone, I worked closely with the lead therapist, Sam, the program director, Mike, and the family therapist, Elliot. Each of these individuals made such a huge impact on my mental health journey and I am just so grateful for them. They really do make a difference.

I loved this place so much to say the least. Sometimes it can be frustrating and anxiety inducing trying to find a good place to get treatment, especially when dealing with insurance companies. When I first reached out, I made the call in the early afternoon and they had me in the very next morning to do the intake!! I participated in the Adult PHP program and enjoyed every second of it, made many new friends and found every reason to stay sober. Shout-out to Sam and Wyndi, they are the best there is!! ❤️

Colorado Medication Assisted Recovery, familiarly known as “CMAR,” is hands-down the best program for addiction recovery. From the intake process to the first day in a group session, they make you feel so at home. So many times addicts like me have a lot of anxiety about entering a treatment center and being judged or not feeling like they belong. But my experience is quite opposite of that. People from all walks of life, with all different addictions are there and are welcoming and loving and supportive. CMAR has truly become a family to me. The nurse is very attentive and warm and exceptionally smart. The therapists are so knowledgeable and can really help you uncover the “Why” behind your addiction and unravel it, as well as give you simple life skills to combat the ups and downs of life as they come. Thwy also offer a very lenient schedule of either being able to attend online or in person, but in person is so much more impactful because you really get to know each therapist and your fellow addicts and that’s how it really becomes a family. I am highly partial to the morning IOP sessions with a therapist named James. Everyone connects with therapists differently, so the staff has all different style therapists to make sure their clients have the best experience possible. I live about 35 to 40 minutes away from the office in Thornton in Denver proper, and the drive doesn’t bother me at all because I know I’m walking into a place where each time I’ll walk out better and more understanding of my addiction so that I can heal and continue in long-term recovery. If you are committed to living a more full life, and your goal is emotional and mental sobriety, as well as sobriety from your drug of choice, GO TO CMAR. You won’t regret it.

Working in the behavioral health field, I’ve referred numerous clients to CMAR, and the outcomes have consistently been excellent. The staff is highly skilled, compassionate, and responsive — truly dedicated to helping individuals on their path to recovery.
Their outpatient programming is well-structured and evidence-based, offering flexibility without compromising quality. What I appreciate most is their collaborative approach; they communicate regularly with referring providers and truly value continuity of care.

I went to Northpoint in November of 2022. This facility offered an array of services and classes. This facility saved my life. The music classes were always my favorite and the food was amazing. There were art supplies and fun games to play to pass the time. I loved having my own room and bathroom. The staff was so nice and took care of me. They were there for good and bad moments. North point has been nothing but an amazing place for me to get away from all the mess and find myself again. The staff is the absolute best. So funny and super open/honest with everyone. Very understanding. The free time we were given outside of class to be outside in the beautiful weather and chat with other peers meant so much to me. This place really allowed me to open up to others, which has been a struggle for me for a long time now. And the outings to go to meetings and get a feel of what recover looks like outside of the facility has given me the courage to keep pursuing that after release and to go meet others in recovery and continue down this path. This place literally saved my life. Paul and the rest of the staff are amazing people! HPR is exactly what I was looking for in a treatment center. It’s small and intimate and therefore you will get really close with the guys here. You don’t feel like you’re in a clinical setting but it’s not like you’re getting well at a resort. After learning about the lengths that Paul went to in creating this place, it speaks VOLUMES about how much he cares. The community was hesitant but he knew that this is where he was going to help people and made it happen. You will do some deep introspection and healing with your brothers. I would go and play disc golf with my therapist and he always listened intentionally to what I had to say. I miss this place!! The culture here is very special. HPR is where men go to heal and I know I have friends for life after my time in this program.
Come with an open mind and I promise you will get out of it 10x what you put into it.

DWR literally saved my life. When I first entered the program I was a beyond broken 21 yr old who thought their life would definitely end in incarceration. After leaving a correctional facility, doing a full treatment program I had no where to go. DWR full forced swept in and welcomed me with open arms. The community within DWR is something I forever will hold near and dear to my heart. They helped me become an independent sober women and words could never be enough to express my gratitude. If you feel there is no hope left and your life is near the end, DWR is the life present you need. It was a good facility I was there for 55 days and now I'm in a sober living. The place is nice and you can get a lot of tools to take with when you leave. Idk but it seems like a lot of the younger patience are there on their 10th plus time they treated like a summer get away or something it's crazy how many people are in there that's been there a number of amount of times they all knew each other not to think I'm better then anyone but they leave and they come right back it must be the good food haha I would recommend this place anyone trying to go to a rehab. Staff are nice all the nurses are pretty cool

I cannot speak highly enough of the staff in the inpatient psychiatric unit. Not only did they ensure my husband's safety and help him make breakthroughs in his mental health, but they also checked in with me routinely to see how they could support me through this difficult time. As far as psychiatric units go (this is coming from a nurse's perspective) it was modern and clean, felt safe and supportive, and overall was truly top of the line. Just did a walk in intake so far. The staff member Ian was exceptionally helpful, and polite, and a very kind and professional man..my boyfriend and I showed up ad walk ins just after working on cars all.day we were a bit messy. Ian didn't change his behavior towards us though. He was still very professional and spoke.to us the same way he spoke to all the other clients
