Located in Ormond Beach, Florida, Promises Five Palms gives their patients all the tools they need in order to beat addiction from drugs or alcohol. I was in great need of help for depression when I found 5 Palms in Ormond Beach, FL. I completed their 28-day program last month. During my voluntary stay, I gained knowledge of CBT and DBT and many skills for returning myself to a mentally balanced state of mind. With these skills, I am now able to stop my depression and related anxiety from "taking over" my thoughts and I have longer, more frequent periods of clear productive thought which have significantly improved my life. I was also very impressed with the professionalism of all levels of the staff and I felt safe and well cared for at a very sensitive time.

Promises Five Palms has truly changed my life, and I am so grateful to call myself both an alumni and an employee. This is the place that gave me hope when I most needed it, helping me reach two years sober—a milestone I once doubted I’d ever achieve. The therapists at Five Palms are outstanding, offering not just professional expertise but real compassion and encouragement every step of the way. The BHTs are just as amazing, always friendly and genuinely caring, making every day a little bit brighter and recovery feel just a bit easier. Working here is the greatest job I’ve ever had. The entire team is passionate about helping others, and being part of that mission has brought so much meaning to my life. I’ve learned skills here that I use every single day, not just at work but in all areas of my life. The environment feels safe, supportive, and even a little bit magical—I can’t say enough about how special this place is or how thankful I am for everything and everyone at Five Palms.

Promises 5 Palms was absolutely amazing! The people the community fabulous! Let me say I was very nervous to go to rehab a facility whatever you want to call it. Once I was there the positive energy ran through. I felt comfortable with all the staff as well as the other clients. They help you through anything that comes up. All you need to do is ask. I was so amazed with Promises! I would recommend to anyone that needs help with either mental health and or drug addiction recovery. Dom saved me more than once love him!Dom is AWESOME!! The nurse's were a huge help to me. Never talked or looked down on me, he was just a huge help! The food was great, the people were awesome. The people I have met there are wonderful I WILL have friendships 💓 forever. Promises ROCKS! WHAT A GREAT EXPERIENCE. My therapist Charles was fantastic 😊. The sense of community fabulous. Micheal the Alumni Cordinater of 5 Palms is always willing to text and talk when you need him. What a great person he is!

The Early Ducks meet 7:30 AM, 7 days a week. My home group. Great sobriety--over a hundred years on a light day, hundreds of years when crowded, typically 20-40 attendees as an "open" mtg. I HIGHLY recommend this club with daily mtgs 07:30, 10:00, noon, 2:00 PM, 4;00 PM, 6:00 PM & 8:00 PM (Friday night NA). Good people, Great sobriety!

I have been to SSRC twice in 2/25 and 3/26. After my first stay there I put together 10 months before going to the hospital and getting morphine thru the IV. When that happened I went back and graduated 2 days ago. I currently have 57 days and if I ever relapse that's where I would go again. It is solution based. We spend a significant time in the big book of Alcoholics Anonymous. It is on a beautiful piece of land. There are outings to go bowling, put put, AA speaker meetings and the Beach. The initial phone call is with a gentleman named Ira and he genuinely seems to care. The Recovery Advocates Jeremiah, Mike, Drew and Ryan are incredible gentleman and help guide you thru the steps. The BHTs Thomas and Dakota are great as well. They are always there if your going thru something or just need someone to talk, to they made me feel extremely comfortable and welcomed. The nursing staff lead by Mille with John, Lisa, Carmon, Jennifer and Blaine are always there to m.ake sure your comfortable. And the Director Jason and office staff Michelle and Elena are 5 star A+++++ Overall it'd just an amazing experience. If your struggling with alcohol or drug addiction this is hands down the best treatment center and I have been to around two dozen Trust Good...Clean House...Help Others!!!!!

Taking the MRT class was an amazing experience that genuinely increased my self-awareness. Right from the start, Susan was incredibly friendly and helpful during the intake process, which made a huge difference. The program teaches you to look closely at your goals, behaviors, and thinking processes in ways you might not have realized you needed. When walking into the break the cycle I was greeted by Susan that was very friendly and super helpful. Having Jamie as our counselor who is the instructor in our classes has made this experience easier for me. She is so supportive and full of so much knowledge to make you understand the ins and the outs of whats right and what’s wrong. She is very genuine, but at the same time she gets her message across. For someone like me that has never had to experience this before in my lifetime Jamie has made me see this whole experience in a different lens .

I just left Heroes’ Mile about 2 weeks ago. When I first arrived, I had no idea what to expect. I was a total wreck and knew I needed help. It didn’t take long for me to get comfortable within the facility. It has a very homely sense to it. It’s not your polished tile, institutional environment at all. Very welcoming. In regards to the staff, where to start? Everyone there is incredible. I owe my life to the professionals that keep the gears oiled in that machine. Crystal, the director, she is full of positive energy and will take time out of her schedule to talk to you if you ever need her for anything. The therapists there are amazing and the food is great. I gained some weight there. Should have used the gym more. Haha. There is a lot of places to hang out in your free time. And one feature not mentioned by Google is the animals! Peafowl, Sand Hill Cranes that will hang out around you, a pond FULL of Blue Fin Tilapia, a little gator that suns in the evening. There is so much I could go on about. I would have to list so many names. Please, if you are reading my review and you are scared or unsure of how to make this move in your life, call Heroes. If they can’t help for some reason, they WILL find something for you. They care. I won’t live long enough to ever have the time to repay all the good they did for me.

Caught myself slipping into alcoholism and checked myself in for a week detox.everything was great ! Russ on the phone helped me get registered, when I arrived I was pretty sick and the director Jose met me outside and helped calm my nerves and get me situated with the intake process. The medical staff did a wonderful job with proper medication I needed to detox safely, I had unsuccessfully tried to detox myself at home and was really sick. Never once did I feel stripped of my humanity, I was treated with dignity and respect and I did the same with the staff. Lastly the food was good, I gained almost 20 lbs that I desperately needed as I was pretty thin. Overall a 5 star plus, I highly recommend Heroes mile !

This place has literally saved my life! I have been with New Seasons Daytona Beach Treatment Center for years now. Over two different locations. They have always been very patient centered. Obviously opoid addiction comes with many issues that need to be conquered in order to truly recover and stay clean. I have certainly had my fair share of issues in the years I've been with new seasons. Every time I have, they have listened to me, did not judge, and worked with me, diligently, to get me back on track with my recovery. They truly do care at New Seasons. And the guy that monitors the hallways and helps patients get where they need to be, Kevin, I believe is his name, he is Always so helpful and kind. My 35-year-old daughter has suffered from Bipolar schizoaffective disorder, experiencing severe psychosis and mania since she was a young adult. The SMA Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU) in Volusia County has been there for her in the darkest moments of her life. The caring, supportive, and professional personnel have provided treatment, medication and psychotherapy to help her manage the manic episodes. I am required by the courts to attend meetings at Hearthstone Fellowship Foundation. At first I was angry and felt like I was being milked by the state and county. After three or four meetings my sentiments began to change and my addiction had become more and more obvious to me. As I began to accept my predicament, I nolonger was able to blame others or act as if it was all in their heads. Now several moths into the treatment offered by Hearthstone, I have opened up and started to change the destructive patterns dominating my life. I finally feel like I might stand a chance at real recovery. None of this would of been possible without the guidance of one person, Gail Wall, M.S. She has went out of her way to help me even when no one else would listen or believe that I was trying. I've been plagued with many health problems and my attendance was very challenging but she trusted in what I had to say and gave me the helping hand that has led me to welcome Recovery for the first time in my 30 year descent into chemical dependency. Thank you Gail. You are literally the best!!!

Hearthstone has some truly amazing people who it’s obvious that their work means a lot to them. They truly truly want to help people who want it and allow people who need help to leverage them. They have guided me and continue to, and keep it 💯 % upfront and transparent and sincere when it comes to what is expected. If there is a perfect combination of professional but also on a personal level, they nail it. It may not be their official motto or formal bottom line but they definitely exude a “we will help you when you don’t know how to help yourself type mentality; just Keep showing up, stay honest and leverage us and we can help you get to clear horizons! Special thanks and acknowledgments to Miss Gail and Janet! Miss Gail who runs groups that always have a focus but can be enjoyed and engaged in. She created a safe space for me come and talk, engaged and learn, and be myself , be the flawed human I am. I should also mention her genuine interest in my life and progress as a person not just a counselor who checks off a progress sheet. Miss Janet who has provided wise and judgement free counsel, in addition took the time out of her day without any notice to sit and talk with me for however long I needed when I lost my brother to an overdose January 11th of this year. Her insight and perspective were not only helpful (understatement) but gave me a deeper understanding and peace. I have so much gratitude for this very special place. I can’t say enough.. but think I already have! Thank you!

Personally, I went to RAP in the midst of an awful drug addiction and this place saved my life, going back onto the previous reply about how the staff didn’t treat us well can be very misinterpreted. I found that some of my fellow clients thought the staff would be mean or seem to not care about our mental stability but what they aren’t realizing is that the staff are harsh for a reason. They do it out of love and although it may seem as though they just don’t care. When the staff were somewhat “harsh” to me or I’d get in trouble there, THAT is when I would do the most changing. Future clients can’t just expect it to me sunshine and butterflies all of the time, this is rehab, you are trying to overcome drug addiction and to me, I would have never been able to do it without them. With that being said, I highly recommend the Residential Adolescences Program. To the parents of those who are suffering, don’t give up. This could be your child’s last chance.

A very good lawyer got me out of Volusia County Jail after 41 days of incarceration and with the help of my sister got me into Stewart. After an intense 28 day 12 step program I was released. During that time I learned many things that when applied, have helped me in life without drugs and alcohol. I took their suggestions and started going to meetings, got a sponsor and and didn't use for one day at a time. One of the most applicable things I learned in Stewart was to keep e/I. Some if not most, seemed like they actually heard and understood me & ultimately wanted me to get the best help possible. Lana specifically was a very kind, wonderful person & I can’t thank her enough for the support and encouragement she showed me. Though sometimes I had to remind them to do things & maybe they got annoyed, I knew they ultimately had good intentions. As long as you’re not a jerk & being nice to them, they’ll treat you well.

The good out weighs the crooks in this building a few staff members really had my back when others where trying to lie on me. Hiding badges, doctors holding patients longer for insurance fraud! I was there in 2019 and in 2021. Two male staff members from 2019 where still there in 2021. I previously was a residential technician. These two gentlemen are trained professionals. They are the only ones I’ve seen in that building follow the guidelines for proper procedure and take down. Mya wasn’t there in 2021 she was an amazing staff member in 2019. I hope Jake and Lincoln are no longer with this company they where horrible techs. And a special thank you to this one TRAIN professional in 2021,Thank you ma’am.Miss Gadzia.

I moved here from our of state so I had to start all over in finding a new Provider in psychiatry. SMA was able to keep me on the same medication because I've been on the same 3 meds for 9 years and they didn't try to change them by adding something or taking some away. I know what works best for me. They took care of everything I needed help with even outside the doctor's office. They had me in and out, helped me through the process and answered every question I had. Right after I saw the Dr I was able to get my medicine from an on-site pharmacy. Thank you so much!
