My Psychiatrist has been a find. We have hit upon a very effective med regimen. She listens and responds quickly, willing to adjust protocols as needed without stubborn ego. With my trusted therapist who has helped me immeasurably over the years I have a quality of life I could never even imagine would be mine.

I’ve had a very positive experience with this clinic’s telehealth services. The staff are knowledgeable, respectful, and supportive, and scheduling has been smooth. I appreciate their professionalism and the quality of care.

Jan the receptionist is 5 stars amazing - she's so good I honestly thought she was a therapist when I first called (and she should be!). Such a kind, patient and understanding woman. Carol the therapist I worked with is incredible. She specializes in addiction and I've just had a wonderful experience with her. Easy to talk to, gives wonderful advice. Highly recommend checking this place out. I was honestly so surprised to read the other bad reviews but they're not about either of these people.

Love it here, I went here as a teenager and got the help I needed and came back as adult and I am still very satisfied!

I think this place benefits everyone that comes to it. There was this one guy though that kept talking about getting loads all the time. There was another guy that was born a mouse and now is growing into a rat, He smoked weed the whole Time. Made it hard to focus on my recovery. Then he did the perky dance right outta here. Kim is a wonderful staff member along with Karen. The rest of the staff isn’t bad either.

They are giving me every tool to be successfull its up to me to use them.

This is the place to go to save your life. If it didn't work for YOU, it's because YOU didn't work it. If YOU had a problem with anyone, it's because YOU created it. If it didn't help YOU with your sobriety or mental health, it's because YOU didn't want it. Do YOU see where the problem is? Great staff, great therapists, and great doctors. Beautiful compound with AMAZING meetings filled with AMAZING people. I hope to meet some of you as we trudge the Road of Happy Destiny. May God bless you and keep you until then.

I wish I'd never had to write a review here, but I am doing it because the STAFF deserves to be recognized by the incredible work they do. From check in to discharged, everyone has empathy and care for the patients. My lifeline during my 10-day stay was my nurse Cheryl and other people that contributed to my healing journey were Dr. Gladwin, "Katrina", Paul and Joy among others. If I had to do it again, I'd once again check myself here. Thank you team!

As of 2025 it appears that staff is more engaged and knowledgeable on different policies and procedures. Visiting hours are much better as well. The overall treatment that is provided appears to be greatly improved since 2023. As such, I am updating this review from 1 star to 4 stars at this time. Keeping original review for historical comparison as time goes on. Below was from 2 years ago, approx. 2023. Absolutely avoid this place unless you want yourself and/or your loved ones further traumatized. First off their own site shows, as seen below, daily visitation periods when in fact they only allow visitors Monday, Wednesday and Friday for a 45 minute period each day. On top of that they frequently cancel one or two of those days weekly and often with no notice. If you call them out about keeping you from their family and try to stand up for your loved ones then they will add on with denying phone calls to your loved ones with claims that they are in crisis or "unavailable." Reason I say claims of being in crisis is because I had our outside therapist call them and they verified to me there was not a crisis situation with my loved one. Also wgile they stated on the phone my loved one was in crisis they stated "the doctor said i dont have to give you any more information," and hung up...excuse me? I am this persons emergency contact AND she signed a release form during intake authorizing me to be given any and all information on her care. Now they are also violating patients wishes outright. And as for the "unavailable" they then said my loved one was sleeping. Well, their own security in addition to wauwatosa police verified that was not the case. Also, during intake they stated they could even be flexible on the visit hours due to work schedules but then when the day came to visit they denied any time of day to visit. Their actions actually did then send my loved one into crisis and as such they were doing harm to her and violating the hippocratic oath as they were 100% denying any and all forms of communication with her biggest support system. They have shown in this situation that they do not actually care for their patients as their actions violated signed agreements with their patient, removed them from their support system and they even gave false information and lies to family members with signed authorization to information.

Got into a little bit of trouble Agape seems okay hopefully going to learn something I think everybody needs to learn a little something about their attitudes very friendly though

The staff is the nicest!! They make everything easier. The counselors are so comprehensive and kind, and I would 100% recommend this place.

I am writing this review in regards to my counselor Heidi. I have been seeing Heidi since late July when she was still employed at the Franklin office. Heidi has been a life saver for me- literally!!! She has taught me so many coping skills, she always actively listens, she advises, she encourages and she corrects. I look forward to my weekly meetings with her. As soon as I head to my appointment I feel a sense of calm. My main reason for seeking counseling was because my grandmother passed and the grieving process was really taking a toll on me physically and mentally. I honestly didn’t know what to do or where to turn. I know I will never forget the pain of my grandma passing but I am learning to cope. One day at a time I’m progressing. I have fall backs but I’m actively remaining positive to keep moving forward. My grandma was my everything and from the beginning Heidi understood that. I am grateful for meeting such an amazing counselor who has helped me to slowly progress… Thank you so much!!! ❤️

Horrible won’t even answer the phone. Insanely rude even when not busy . In order to TALK to someone (NOT a doctor) you have to travel all the way to the south side so that they can tell you they don’t accept your insurance. If you look at all these 5 star reviews you’d see that they only have 1 review and it’s because they’re fake accounts created to give that review. This place sucks, smells of alcohol and paint and they WILL NOT ANSWER THE PHONE

My family would love to share how Renew counseling has assisted our family in becoming a great family and part of this community. I was raising my granddaughter and she was having problems and we resorted to attending outpatient mental health services from Renew. We attended outpatient mental health services, after a psychiatric evaluation. We were a more wholesome family. My granddaughter did not feel embarrassed any longer about having her mental health issues. They had a great anger management Education. Thank you Renew

Fantastic staff and every therapist different family members have seen have all been wonderful even with very challenging situations and difficult teens.

Ive been going to Genesis for several years now. I started with one therapist who had to step down due to family matters. I see Tiffany S now and highly recommend her. I have made such huge progress in the time seeing her that it's been unbelievable to see where I came from to now. The front desk is awesome as well. Four stars is simply because I know my husband went to see a therapist there who was really awful. Basically if a therapist isn't the right fit, try someone else in the organization. ☺

Front desk is always fabulous. My therapist is there for me when I need her.

Everyone was extremely nice and understanding. The only bad part is you can't have your phone so bring something to read or games

This place took me in when I was at my worse. The staff here is amazing, they check on you 24-7. If it wasn't for them i would probably be dead.

I hear you seen jails better then this or been to better places blah blah blah well the outpatient teacher got me in for free three times and had saved my life they feed you great and let you smoke and also the nurses get me on meds I needed before I left for heroin then also got me in to a free 14 days and approved 14 more days to a impatient free of. Ost never paid a dime also gave me a great report to probation and communicated to probation good enough to keepe from getting sent back to prison. Gave me such good advice to repair me and my father's relationship and has helped me to become the man I am now to hear from my father I love you twice in one conversation over the the phone witch I never heard him ever say In life and also I still have a great relationship with my family if you aint made it past the first hallway it's cause you didn't wanna be sober. Put ur comments somewhere else that don't affect other people Interested in getting clean cause your negative might just keep others from getting the help they want no two recovery's are the same but hands down without them I wouldnt be alive today and they care it might not be your silver spoon place but also they always try to help even if they can't sometimes you gotta understand places wont always look like Malibu on tv and promise the world they do witb what they got and they do very well every staff was always fare and friendly

The doctor I saw today was amazing. First time I felt like the doctor I'm seeing is actually treating me correctly. She explained everything so well and I feel like I am in safe hands.

Don't hesitate to contact them if you need help. You get what you put into it.

Working with Abby was a true relief and delight. Her techniques to communicate and release were such a broader knowledege than most therapist. She was a treasured ripple in life.

I went to outreach and saw Kelly Richardson. She is excellent. I told her my health condition and what I am planning to do in the future. She was very helpful and worked with me and with my plan. The MA was good as well. I did not have to wait more than 10 minutes to be seen. The front desk people were very helpful. I was very satisfied with my visit and I recommended any one who needs primary care to see Kelly Richardson,FNP.

The care they have with their patients is fantastic! No one has ever cared for me this much, and they take such good care of you!

So thankful to Jesus for Alarus Healthcare. Mike is a wonderful human being and the best counselor…my life greatly improved because of having the support of a caring, good hearted, professional person like him as a counselor. I can also say the rest of the staff were wonderful as well!
