Love it here, I went here as a teenager and got the help I needed and came back as adult and I am still very satisfied!

I have always had a lovely experience with my psychiatrist, I've been going here for years. 10/10 would recommend

Phone reception is open at 8am-12pm and 1pm-4:30pm. The prescriber is sometimes able to offer later appointments, however I am not sure how long that will be available. I am grateful there are some days that it’s possible to see someone later in the day.

Got into a little bit of trouble Agape seems okay hopefully going to learn something I think everybody needs to learn a little something about their attitudes very friendly though

The staff is the nicest!! They make everything easier. The counselors are so comprehensive and kind, and I would 100% recommend this place.

Life stance made it pretty easy to find someone, still took sometime and the first few where not my fave on the list but I kept searching till I found someone. I just had my first session. And Im happy with whom I chose excited for next session. Hope everything works out! First things out of my therapist mouth is, I want you to run me out of a job ◡̈ and that if they are not a good fit for me I should fire them and look again they also said if that happened they would help me find someone if I needed it!

Had two terrible experiences here which led me to severe medical PTSD came in for a seizure and was told I didn’t have one after the “doctor” left me in a room for 2 hours. Update went to an actual neurologist at a different hospital and was diagnosed with epilepsy. Second time I passed out from a panic attack and again was left in a bed unattended for over 5 hours. The doctor was extremely rude and never came back to check on me or discharge me. Asked for something to take home for panic attacks until I could get in with a psychiatrist and was told no and to take some Benadryl to go to sleep. Completely unreal will never ever come back here. Ended up going to Waukegan hospital months later for gal bladder pain because I refused to be taken back to northwestern lake forest. DO NOT GO HERE

We've had two questionable non-emergency experiences at this hospital. Update: used the emergency room and while luckily my family member was fine, yet again (0/3) the experience and expense were considerably worse at Lake Forest Hospital than other hospitals we've used. Unless you have no other choice, do not go to Lake Forest Hospital.

My family would love to share how Renew counseling has assisted our family in becoming a great family and part of this community. I was raising my granddaughter and she was having problems and we resorted to attending outpatient mental health services from Renew. We attended outpatient mental health services, after a psychiatric evaluation. We were a more wholesome family. My granddaughter did not feel embarrassed any longer about having her mental health issues. They had a great anger management Education. Thank you Renew

The doctor I saw today was amazing. First time I felt like the doctor I'm seeing is actually treating me correctly. She explained everything so well and I feel like I am in safe hands.

Don't hesitate to contact them if you need help. You get what you put into it.

Ive been going to Genesis for several years now. I started with one therapist who had to step down due to family matters. I see Tiffany S now and highly recommend her. I have made such huge progress in the time seeing her that it's been unbelievable to see where I came from to now. The front desk is awesome as well. Four stars is simply because I know my husband went to see a therapist there who was really awful. Basically if a therapist isn't the right fit, try someone else in the organization. ☺

Have been coming to my Family Genesis for 8 or 9 years. 🥰 They have always helped me through Great times and biggest of all the very tough times. Always have one of my biggest lights here ✨️ Therapy that has been rock solid ever since I walked into there door

I hear you seen jails better then this or been to better places blah blah blah well the outpatient teacher got me in for free three times and had saved my life they feed you great and let you smoke and also the nurses get me on meds I needed before I left for heroin then also got me in to a free 14 days and approved 14 more days to a impatient free of. Ost never paid a dime also gave me a great report to probation and communicated to probation good enough to keepe from getting sent back to prison. Gave me such good advice to repair me and my father's relationship and has helped me to become the man I am now to hear from my father I love you twice in one conversation over the the phone witch I never heard him ever say In life and also I still have a great relationship with my family if you aint made it past the first hallway it's cause you didn't wanna be sober. Put ur comments somewhere else that don't affect other people Interested in getting clean cause your negative might just keep others from getting the help they want no two recovery's are the same but hands down without them I wouldnt be alive today and they care it might not be your silver spoon place but also they always try to help even if they can't sometimes you gotta understand places wont always look like Malibu on tv and promise the world they do witb what they got and they do very well every staff was always fare and friendly

I had to go in for a handful of days to detox and this is the location I chose, not really sure why. Pro & Con - 90% of the staff are incredibly friendly, understanding and patient; you have to be when you're dealing with this type of folk. The other 10% are there, miserable, collecting a paycheck and can't be bothered to have any kind of empathy. Con - The food. Rehab/Detox HAS to be at least an 8 digit business so they possess no right to serve the type of "food" that they have on menu. The best way to describe the food is the kind of food you get at an MPS school who gets little to no financial assistance; maybe Aurora's mantra is "Drunks and junkies will be happy to eat anything." and that is an utterly appalling approach. Pro - My fellow residents, those who left their rooms anyways, were all very friendly and inviting; wanted to get to know, wanted to talk to me about their and my experiences with our problems. This isn't prison, so if you, for some reason, choose this location don't expect to go in and get mean mugged, get your food stolen or shanked. Bed related Con. - Exhausted by the 2+ hour assessment procedure I was happy to finally be let in to see my room. I shoulda just detoxed at home. Again, 8 digit industry, and the bed felt like sleeping on expired angel food cake, and the pillow was so flat it felt like I was resting my head on nothing. Big, big, BIG bed related Con - 2 big ol' pieces of Mouse poop on my bed; numerous occasions during my 3 day.....purgatory, there was constant talk about an ant infestation; seems totally legit for a HEALTH CARE facility. Again, I honestly have no clue just WHY I chose this place; desperation to be somewhere safe for fear of the worst possible alcohol withdrawals I suppose, and they did keep a very close eye on me, I just wish they would pay as close of an eye to the food, the INSECTS AND MICE, and the comfort NECESSARY for a good night's rest; but I suppose if you're not sleeping well, they can always pump you with 4 different sleep meds. Do not recommend.

My child was found hung in her room on her door.My child/daughter was here due to being suicidal. I was told she would be on One to One Care. When I asked the doctor what that meant, he said always with in arms reach of someone. I got a call my daughter was found hung in her room with her blanket.she was found blue and unresponsive.She was alone from 415 to 430. They had to call 911. When I was called, they couldn't tell me what happened. Another supervisor had to speak and tell me. I found out later that the the supervisor said there must have been a misunderstanding, that my daughter was on a 15 check not the 1to 1. They don't know what's going on there the misunderstanding Could have cost my child her life.agter calling back, the same supervisor promised me if my daughter returned that she protect her and keep her safe this time. I said I would feel sick to my stomach if she returned there for her care. There is more to this but I don't not recommend this place for. For anyone who has a child suffering with a mental illness and not feeling safe. MY CHILD WAS ABLE TO HANG HERSELF WITh A BLANKET, turn blue and unresponsive! All because misunderstanding????!!!!

Working with Abby was a true relief and delight. Her techniques to communicate and release were such a broader knowledege than most therapist. She was a treasured ripple in life.

The NP I saw in the Women’s Health Center did more for me in a one hour appt than my civilian doctors contracted through Tricare have done for me in the past two years. Excellent, quality care. :)

Jackie is rude and incompetent. This location has consistently been problematic. Scheduling appointments to later claim that they shouldn’t have scheduled and were unaware of case closure. Lack of communication amongst the staff is a huge problem, nurses saying one thing and front desk paper handlers saying something different. HIPPA is a joke to these people. Dr Dennison is wonderful and I will seek treatment from him at a different location.

Holly & Phil are both great counselors & are always there to help for individual sessions as well. I enjoy my group therapy & my one on one sessions.

While no organization is without its challenges, Lad Lake displays the determination to face challenges, and continuously improve and adapt.

The staff at Lad Lake St Rose. Always go above and beyond for their clients as well as the families of those clients. The staff really show their compassion and care for the youth that go through treatment here and it shows!

My therapist at this place was the best! He changed my life for the better. He made me see so many things in a different way, he helped me out in a way I can't describe. I wouldn't be here if ti weren't for him, also my family has helped me in understanding me, one of the best gifts someone can give is understanding. I'm still here fighting but I'm not so angry thanks for the love I've received.

I went to outreach and saw Kelly Richardson. She is excellent. I told her my health condition and what I am planning to do in the future. She was very helpful and worked with me and with my plan. The MA was good as well. I did not have to wait more than 10 minutes to be seen. The front desk people were very helpful. I was very satisfied with my visit and I recommended any one who needs primary care to see Kelly Richardson,FNP.

The care they have with their patients is fantastic! No one has ever cared for me this much, and they take such good care of you!

Awesome place people loving supportive enjoy going three days a week would change going for the world.

Don is a remarkable psychotherapist with a keen ability to foster trust and insight. He provides the right balance of support and challenge for growth.

There are many aspects of Shorehaven that are commendable. First and foremost is the focus on increasing access for those with Medicaid insurance. While many other clinics only work with commercial or private payment, Shorehaven prides itself on being a resource for those that are less fortunate financially. Shorehaven is also a resource for rapid access to treatment with most being able to get an appointment within days. It can be very difficult to find mental health providers that work with children but Shorehaven can provide rapid access to outpatient therapy for all ages. In my nearly 2 decades of experience in the mental health field Shorehaven has always stood out as a company that cares more about helping people and bettering the community than making money and that is the most commendable of all.
