It’s a really great place to go to if you need Help. Ms.Poole is so awesome she has helped me more than I can even count. In 2017 when I started coming Ms.Poole was my counselor and she was amazing! She always made sure I was okay and she listened to me when I I was going through hard times and she really cared. She always tried to help me. She even bought me me and my kids food for me to take to my house when I was going through a hard time. Now she is the Director and she is amazing at that. She makes sure that everything is by the book and she makes sure all of her patients are treated how they are supposed to be!!! I love Ms Poole! She is amazing And Ms Twanna is my counselor now and she is amazing also she really cares about her patients. Whatever anybody is going through she will listen to you and try to help you in anyway that she can. I love her too!!! This place is awesome if you need help they will really try their best to do whatever they can to help!! This place has some true angels who are doing God’s work and genuinely care. However, a lot of neglect also goes on here. If you need more than medication, you will often be left to deal with it yourself. I have been physically abused here and have witnessed others being abused. Something as simple as someone walking into my room resulted in them being punched in the face by a staff member—repeatedly. Some security staff are really kind, while others seem to have something to prove. Heavy sexualization of women also occurs here. Everything gets brushed under the rug. Most people are just here for a paycheck—I understand that—but you should not take your frustrations out on vulnerable people who are in crisis and cannot always control what they do, think, or say. Even with all the abuse, I’ve met some incredible people here who made every difficult moment worth it. Please look at these patients as human beings, not just paychecks. They have a real chance at life and deserve to be treated with dignity and equality. Whether you believe in God or not, He is real and He is always watching. No good or bad deed goes unnoticed. I'm seeing many negative reviews. There were many kind, gentle, and stable workers. I needed to be there. I was there for, I believe, 7 days before I had to take the next steps and get out. Outpatient services. Thank you for helping. Whoever they had with me were good. I did end up getting a shot, because they said I was being troublesome. It helped me to sleep, since I was paranoid most of the time. I wasn't on the right meds that they gave me. Even when I left I wasn't on the right meds. After I left to outpatient services I got on the right meds after a few months. That's the only problem I had. My doctor told me it was showing I wasn't on the right meds. Finally got on the right ones and I am not dealing with fight or flight and crazy paranoia. I was on this medicine in the past, but it made me look bloated according to family. I have battled fentanyl addiction for over 3 years and if you are an addict of the same caliber then you know there’s no detoxing without help off that demon! I went to this place as a last resort to impatient with no expectations since nothing else has ever worked and let me tell you I haven’t felt as “normal” if that’s a word I can use to describe it as in years even before the addiction took hold..I have energy and I am clear headed.. you have to give this a try you won’t be sorry! From the front desk, to the counselor, the nurse, the doctor I mean even the clinic director and other counselors these people care! They don’t treat you like someone who doesn’t deserve help or like it’s your own fault your where you are. Idk I guess I just am so surprised yet grateful to be free from the monkey on my back I want everyone to know they can be free to..I hope this finds and helps someone else get on the same track to living again!
