Staff is slightly okay, the entire protocol is absolutely terrible and that entire center should be shut down. It left my kid feeling dehumanized, disoriented, and traumatized for simply stating words that were not sugarcoated. This entire facility should be ashamed of the way they handle business and the way they handle minors. Left in a cold room for 3 hours and tried to take my kid in for a hold. Absolutely disrespectful and unsafe. It will NOT make it better by putting someone under a hold like they've went on a killing spree.

I have been learning to live with a horrible disease that can only be treated and never cured. I love Mrs. Burnadette. Excuse my spelling mistakes. I have no clue how to spell anything anymore. She works the front desk and she is excellent at it. Then there’s Ms. Ava she is wonderful. She doesn’t judge me at all for any changes in my vitals. She asks me about my mental pain and my health problems. She’s very understanding but she’s stern about skipping doses of medicine and waiting till I’m empty to order a refill especially if it’s the last one and they have to call Dr.Patel. To get an ok and it may take a couple days. That’s a very big No No. I absolutely love Dr.Patel. He listens to me and wants me to know that he cares about my illness and he wants to help me learn and put to work some coping skills for my life. Things are not the same and I’m going to have to learn how to live in my own way and learn how to be happy again. I am so happy to have such an amazing doctor that is trying to help me find a way to get happy in my new life. I trust everything he says and hopefully he will always be my doctor. and friend!

The place is great. My daughter is there. Only complaint i have is there policy. Me and my wife drove 1 1/2 hour. And only one can visit. Then was told my service dog could NOT come inside.

My lady friend went her & they have treated her incredibly well.
This place isn't really well know but it deserves to be.
The staff was immaculate to her.
The only thing was the not smoking rule which is justified because it is a recover center.
Besides that I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Our teenage son struggles with mental health issues. We have tried a number of programs hoping to get him the help and support he needs. One of the facilities/programs we enrolled in was Laurel Oakes in Dothan, Alabama. This facility was like no other we experienced. Every staff member we encountered was courteous, caring and always willing to go above and beyond for our child. This Facilities’ culture is created and carried forward by the Facility CEO, Jeanette J. Jeanette was and remains extremely accessible, responsive, supportive, and always willing to go above and beyond. After our son left the program, he wanted to remain in contact with Jeanette. Without hesitation, she continued to support and communicate with our son. Jeanette not only remained in contact with our son after he left Laurel Oakes, but she was also always willing to speak to us about his current challenges and continued care. You couldn't ask for a better steward to oversee your child's care. As I said, all of the staff went above and beyond always. Our son gravitated towards one staff member in particular, a gentleman known to the kids as Sarge because of his prior military service. Sarge was always a touchstone for our son. Sarge also took time out from his day to speak to our son after he left the program. I am sorry if your family finds yourself having to consider such programs for your child. That's said, if you do, I can highly recommend Jeanette and her team at Laurel Oakes.

i was admitted in hopes of getting better a few years back and i was more miserable then ever. I was treated like a prisoner by the nurses and they were incredibly demeaning. they threatened to tranquillize anyone over things i was appalled at. (not preforming an activity etc) we were shut into our rooms with nothing to do, no enrichment besides starting at plastic furniture and white walls. the windows had writing on it that said “help me” and “get me out.” i told them i did not want to take medicine and they prescribed me pills without names every day. the food was awful and it was the longest week of my life.

The Bradley center really did treat me good I was going threw a lot of stuff and when I would talk to some doctor there they diagnosed me pretty fast but the meds they prescribed me with it helped me a lot I feel so much better with my self. And I met really cool people. And we played the Wii there so I loved it I had so much fun. The food was good the games was fun and the workers were really sweet but the bad thing I would say is the bed I js didn’t feel comfortable it felt like a big grocery bag that was the size of a twin bed blow up bed and when my cousin went she found blood under her mattress after they make us take off the sheets and put it on the floor the day we’re about to leave

I am extremely disappointed with this office. I visited with my son to get him a new intake, and the staff was uncooperative. They all had a negative attitude and seemed disinterested in helping anyone. It felt like they were just there to collect a paycheck without any desire to assist.
My son has severe autism, and when he had an episode, they informed me that they wouldn't provide assistance unless he had other conditions in addition to autism. According to both Google and my doctor’s office, this is the place to take adults with autism for help. It is clear that this office needs to hire new staff, as the current team is not effective.
I have been managing my son's condition for 18 years, and it was unacceptable to have him turned away. Now I have to seek another location where he can receive the support he needs. Columbus, Georgia, has truly disappointed me with their services.

This place sucks, the staff is hostile and or critical. The conditions are low and the emotional support is lacking.
Id went there years ago over a misunderstanding I had that I sent to a teacher, I have never been In facility ever.
While I was there, a woman who interviewed me was critical of my explanation and criticized my explanation of not doing it on purpose to ever hurt anyone. Sure, I did it but to be that dissmissve and degrading to a kid in that state for that reason is ridiculous. Another occasion was when I was getting ice and one of the staff screamed at me for dropping some. I was on the verge of tears. The conditions don't make you feel in a environment for help or comfort. I again hadn't or have any illness or deep issue, however how the kids who were were put in those conditions was absysmol. Whoever the two were I was referring to should be ashamed of themselves deeply and never work with kids. Pathetic.
