I've been to almost every treatment center in the state of Georgia and a few in Alabama as well. I was more stubborn than most. However, when things got bad enough and I was willing to change, The Golden Rule taught me how to act like an adult and be responsible. They aren't going to put up with old behavior and I needed a place where I couldn't manipulate my way through. This place is hard work, but it works if you put in effort and give it a chance! Faith without works is dead.

My lady friend went her & they have treated her incredibly well.
This place isn't really well know but it deserves to be.
The staff was immaculate to her.
The only thing was the not smoking rule which is justified because it is a recover center.
Besides that I would highly recommend them to anyone.

The people at this center are like no other. They really care about you and they . help you in your walk to recovery .and they got your back. .i been to other treatment centers here in macon like G...A and they all about the money and the people that own the place are very rude also they bring dogs in the place and let them run everywhere while you are in there . thats just nasty and if you miss a day going to the center this nutt still charges you for the does that you dont receive .like i said trinity treatment is the best they treat you like you are someboby .thats where i going to go. The Bradley center really did treat me good I was going threw a lot of stuff and when I would talk to some doctor there they diagnosed me pretty fast but the meds they prescribed me with it helped me a lot I feel so much better with my self. And I met really cool people. And we played the Wii there so I loved it I had so much fun. The food was good the games was fun and the workers were really sweet but the bad thing I would say is the bed I js didn’t feel comfortable it felt like a big grocery bag that was the size of a twin bed blow up bed and when my cousin went she found blood under her mattress after they make us take off the sheets and put it on the floor the day we’re about to leave

After 4 or 5 failed attempts to stop abusing alcohol I wound up at MARR. The day after my 50th birthday. I was extremely upset and disappointed with myself. But something told me that I belonged there. And I made the best decision of my life. To stay there.
I stayed for the mandatory 3 months and then an extra four more.
Not only did I learn to stop drinking and live life without alcohol, but I leather be an adult. To ask for help. And most importantly I learned that I was not alone in my life or my journey.
Wonderful place with great staff. You may not know it or believe it but this place is the BEST chance you have at getting sober and learning how to live a good life. Period.

My time at MARR has fundamentally changed my life. I have a strong foundation in sobriety, many coping tools in my toolbox and a large network of sober men and women who I will forever call friends. I wanted to write a review to say how thankful I am to this facility and the incredible team (special shout out to my therapist Angela and Josh )who work here. Upon arrival I was going through it. From the very beginning the staff welcomed me with compassion, respect, and patience. Not only did they provide incredible treatment- they provided me with a family-like support. I felt understood, safe, and valued.
The therapists and facilitators earnestly listened and helped me navigate through the most difficult time of my life . Thanks to them I made progress and built confidence, learned healthier ways to cope, and began to learn how to love myself. I never felt alone, and felt encouraged and cared for each and every step of the way.

I really appreciate the workers at this hospital. They are kind, accomodating and respectful. I didn't feel condescended to, nor treated like less of a human being. I felt that the workers set a tone of respect and dignity and support on the unit. The groups were awesome and very well facilitated. I felt like they weren't just there for a paycheck, that they actually cared about doing a good job. I would definitely go back there if I ever need mental health inpatient care.

It was a safe place during my most suicidal years. I really appreciated the ability to isolate in my room, unlike other facilities that lock the rooms during the day. That was a necessity for me as an autistic person, in order to prevent overwhelm and truly feel safe. Therapy groups could be stressful, but I wasn't forced to attend which I really appreciate. When life feels so out of control, small things like that can go a long way

I had a very positive experience at Twin Lakes! The counselors were great and I loved all the techs. I learned much and laughed often. The classes were diverse, interesting and varied. It is easy to find and there is plenty of parking. The front secretary wasn’t exactly warm, but otherwise everyone was very friendly. Dr. Bigoms and the staff at the eye clinic took their time with me and made me feel like I mattered. That doesn’t happen often in healthcare anymore, unfortunately.

There is definitely a process in order to become an established patient, but once you take care of all that this is an amazing organization staffed with individuals who show up to help people in need. My therapist is Gabby and psych is Dr. Hill, both exemplary human beings! They are down to Earth, real people who care. The front desk ladies are soooo kind and the pharmacist greets you with an understanding smile. If you need help, these human beings are here to do just that. Situations can be frustrating in life. Scheduling can be cumbersome at times if you stay busy. But the bottom line is, these people WILL HELP YOU. They saved my life.

Great place to contact for the return to duty process. The staff paid attention to everything I had to say and answered all my questions. They scheduled my appointment and I met with the SAP the next day. The SAP is very knowledgeable and Mr. Kofi was available to answer all my questions throughout the process.
