I've been to almost every treatment center in the state of Georgia and a few in Alabama as well. I was more stubborn than most. However, when things got bad enough and I was willing to change, The Golden Rule taught me how to act like an adult and be responsible. They aren't going to put up with old behavior and I needed a place where I couldn't manipulate my way through. This place is hard work, but it works if you put in effort and give it a chance! Faith without works is dead.

They had emergency weather warnings and were suppose to call and get it all squared away they did not call or email and because of it I had to miss a day because they cannot seem to do these tasks at hand professionally I’m on the way of going down and I’m so glad because so many times it’s been there fault but because they hold that liquid power over you they feel as if they can control you and talk down on you because of your past they aren’t professional and they make it seem that it’s your fault for everything they mess up whatever you can do to not come here please do I promise you will have complications as well

I recently visited the center for a CT Scan of my abdomen. From the moment I walked through the door and spoke to the receptionist for directions to the moment I walked out the door, everyone I came in contact with was professional and courtesous. The receptionist and techs in the imaging went out of their way to make me feel comfortable and appreciated. Carrie did my scan and I had a follow-up with Tyrell. I only wish the care I receive outside of this medical facility was as good. I was a little concerned about some of the negative reviews but I had nothing but a positive and welcoming experience.

The Staff and facility at this location are great. However, because the call center is underfunded and non-existent you will not be able to communicate with the great healthcare workers here. If you want the patient advocate, pharmacy or any other service within a 24 hour period, I recommend calling the Veteran suicide hotline and asking for them by name. If you are lucky enough to know the direct line for the patient advocate, they may be able to help. If you call the central phone line, be prepared to not be successfully connected to any department. I would love to discuss this matter with any upper level staff of the hospital. Oh wait, you can’t reach their offices.

I definitely see the why there is bad reviews and I'm not even a patient. Just interacting with the people on the phone is horrible. You are an inconvenience for calling. And they rush you off and is not helpful.
I hope the staff that works with the patients are not like this. It will make my friend worse off than she is now!

If you are thinking about admitting yourself to coastal harbor, PLEASE DONT! This is the worst facility that you could possibly go to. The facility will gladly break multiple of your patient’s rights and will hold you hostage until they can take as much as they can from your insurance company, or if you don’t have insurance, your out of pocket pay of $20,000 or up. They barely have any therapy, do not follow the patient schedules, they will not give you exercise and very minimal outside time (if at all). The staff is negligent and can even be hostile. Please do not lock yourself up in this prison. I can say so much more. Please understand and take this warning very seriously. You will only deteriorate in this facility

As an alumni of the breakthru house I can speak on them for days. This place taught me to crawl after I fell flat on my face in life. The love and support from the staff there is beyond amazing. There is an anointing on everyone that works there! You can feel it in the air the second you arrive. I was mandated there by the court so the officers delivered me to them. They would not allow me to enter still in shackles. That moment changed everything for me. I was finally free! These movers are not your servants. If you truly wish to perform an act of charity, arrange to be at home ahead of time, and cover your floor with the Atlanta Journal Constitution...its' best possible use.

Trauma Doctors and some professionals were helpful and excellent PT and OT. Overall my husband was ignored most of his first night in the ER. No ICU room was ever available for the 24 hours he was supposed to be observed. No hygiene offered, poor cleaning standards and changing of sheets, inept lab techs, rude front desk people and hard to get needed help. Our family never let him spend a night alone. We were in a wing that looked like an original 1950's room. Just a terrible experience!! We were SO excited to leave and get back to Atlanta and better medical care.

I have been going to the Monroe, Ga. location for over 20 years. I have had good experiences in most everything. I don't do good with counseling. The nurse Janice, is wonderful. I work at a different behavioral health facility, and myself, and co workers came to visit their supported employment! The staff was friendly, informative, and very open minded. They welcomed us with open arms! I love their space it’s so big, and beautiful ❤️

I was traveling to Savannah, Ga for the holidays and really needed to find a meeting. The 24 hour club was amazing! They had several meeting rooms available, fresh coffee, food, and several people that were very helpful. It’s a safe haven for those battling addiction. It’s a home base to turn to when you are in need.
